So, on June 10, 2011, a number of formal publications in Britain and Australia and a number of Internet-based Web sites passed along information about electric cars that had been published in a study by the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (which involves the British government and the car industry).  The study looked at the full lifetime of an electric car and the full lifetime of a petrol car and compared the two types of vehicles for CO2 emissions, and, generally speaking, the study shows that, an electric car will only get a net savings in emission of CO2 over a petrol car when the electric car has reached a total mileage of 129,000 kilometers (or about 80,000 miles), and the problem is it takes a lot of energy to produce the battery systems for such vehicles, and the study notes that the battery system of an electric car will very likely have to be replaced over the life of the vehicle, so when you look at an electric vehicle, you have to then add in emissions of CO2 in producing the second battery system (or the replacement battery system) for the vehicle.  So when you hear someone say that you are saving the environment by driving an electric vehicle over a petrol vehicle because the petrol car while running produces more CO2 than the electric car (which also contains small petrol engines) does, you are hearing nonsense (the someone is not taking into account what CO2 is produced to make an electric car and what CO2 is produce to make a petrol car and is passing along bad information or is lying about the benefits of the electric car).  And I bet what I have presented as an introduction to this edition of T.H.A.T. is something that your favorite television newscast did not report to you and probably purposely avoided reporting to you.  [Webster, Ben.  "Electric cars may not be so green after all, says British study." The Australian (Australia), 10 June 2011, 3:22 p.m.; Webster, Ben.  "Want a green car?  Electric may not be the best choice."  The Times (the United Kingdom), 10 June 2011.]

It was on Sunday, June 12, 2011, that I happened to catch a portion of a program called FlashPoint, a show that is produced and aired at WDIV-HD, Channel 4.1 and hosted by Devin Scillian, who is a big-name news anchor on the station, and on this date, the two main portions of the program were a taped interview with Barack Obama and a round-table discussion (with Nolan Finley (of The Detroit News), L. Brooks Patterson (Oakland County Executive), Debbie Dingell (the wife of U.S. Representative John Dingell, who is an enslavist and hard-line socialist), and Stephen Henderson (a socialist).  By the way, this FlashPoint, which should not be confused with the Flashpoint series that is aired on CBS-TV, got started in 1998 (as a monthly program), and it is one of those Sunday morning political interview/discussion shows, in which little useful thought is presented on a regular basis.  I am going to present a portion of the interview between Devin Scillian and Barack Obama, and the reason I present only a portion of the interview is I did not start recording the interview till it was underway, but I present enough of it to show the uselessness of it and even the ignorance and foolishness of it--and even evilness contained within it.  Here is what I caught:
Barack Obama: "Well, look, you know, the fact of the matter is that I, I was just at a plant of, ah, ah, recently in Toledo, and saw Sergio there.  He's the first one to say--It's the workers that get the credit.  I mean what happened here was that workers pulled together, made significant sacrifices, ah, you know, they, they gave back some, some pay and benefits because they had faith in the company, and you had multi-generations of folks who were willing to work there, ah, and do everything they can to make the best possible product.  So, ah, what we've shown is that American manufacturing can succeed.  The key now is to look for--What are the next phases of American manufacturing?  So, the best example in the auto industry is the, you know, advanced, dah, ah, vehicles, you know, whether it's electric cars or biodiesel."
Devin Scillian: "I drive a Chevy Volt!"
Barack Obama: "Right!  Case in point!  And, and it's a great car.  Now, the question is--How to we bring that price point down?  And whoever wins this battle for getting those, ah, light-weight batteries that can run a car for three-hundred miles on a gallon of gas.  That's where, ah, cars are gonna be made for a long time to come.  And we expect that that's probably gonna happen sometime within in the next five years, so this is why it's so important for us to continue to make investments in basic research, partnering with industry, making sure that the science, the technology is being developed right here in the United States of America."
Devin Scillian: "Um, we going back to what we don't like thinking about, ah, what unemployment would look like in Michigan had these, ah, this assistance not occurred would be devastating is bad enough.  And jobs remains number one in Michigan.  Ah, unemployment still over ten percent.  It's bad nationally as well.  And even beyond the practical matter is the political matter.  You know, political historians will tell you it's difficult for a president to get reelected when unemployment is north of eight percent."
Barack Obama: "Right.  Well, you know, the, ah, I gonna have time to worry about my politics next year.  Ah, right now, my concern is the letters I get everyday from folks, ah, in Michigan and all across the country who are saying--'You know what?  I'm sending out resumes everyday, and I'm, I'm knockin' on doors, and nobody's hiring.'  We still have a problem with unemployment.  Now, keep in mind we've, ah, created two-million jobs over the last fifteen months, and I know that, this month, we had a disappointing number, but the previous three months exceeded expectations.  And if you even those out, the general trend line is we're creating jobs in the private sector.  What we've haven't done is created them as fast as I'd like.  And the other thing is we're losin' a lot of public-sector jobs.  Ah, our Recovery Act provided--about a third of the Recovery Act, the so-called stimulus--was help to states so they wouldn't have to lay off teachers, cops, firefighters.  That money ran out!  And states who are still short on revenue are having to make a lot of tough cuts in the public sector.  Fortunately, their revenues are starting to pick up.  But what we've got to do is to make sure that, that the things that have worked so far we keep doing--payroll tax cut, making sure that, ah, we're providing tax breaks for businesses that are investing in plants and equipment and hiring right now, making sure we're still investing in, ah, basic science, still investing in infrastructure, if if, still investing in education, making sure our workforce is trained.  Ah, if we do that, we're still gonna have some head winds.  Gas prices hurt us this spring, ah, because of the situation in the Middle East partly.  Ah, that's why we've still gotta work on clean energy.  Ah, the situation in Europe is still a little shaky.  That's made it businesses, ah, ah, a little bit nervous.  Ah, part of the reason I took this trip to Europe was ta talk to them about how they can stabilize their situation.  Ah, housing is still a big problem, and we've got to work as well as we can to start clearing some of these foreclosed homes, getting them back in the market.  But, ah, the overall trend is good, and I think people should feel confident that as bad as the hit that we took that we can, ah, overcome these, these difficult problems, but, ah, all I think about everyday is when I wake up in the morning is--How can I put people back to work and how can I increase people's wages and incomes so they can, ah, ah, the American dream?"
Devin Scillian: "Well, as you know, ah, the City of Detroit is kind of standing on the brink of collapse.  Um, you had an active role in making sure that General Motors kept its headquarters in Detroit.  Um, but is there and should there be, ah, a role for the federal government in, ah, helping secure the future of the City of Detroit?  I don't know if you want to call it a civic bailout rather than an auto bailout.  But what, what should the federal roll of response be?"
Barack Obama: "You know, I think our job is to partner with, ah, the State of Michigan and the City of Detroit, ah, to find out, ah, what can we do ta, ta make sure that this, this sum of all the various federal programs that are already going into Detroit, ah, are, are, are, are leveraged ta improve outcomes, so let's just take education as an example.  Obviously, that's, ah, ah, lot of people's minds is schools in Detroit."
Devin Scillian: "Arne Duncan called it 'ground zero for the urban education....'"
Barack Obama: "...So, we know what works.  We, I, I spoke at a commencement this year at a really tough school in, in, ah, the south side of Memphis that, ah, had almost doubled its graduation rate and improved its scores across the board and so the question is--How do we duplicate what's being done in a school like that in a school in Detroit?  And, you know, we've already, we're already putting money into those schools.  The question is--Can we partner with the city and the state to figure out whether, ah, ah, you know, reforms and how we're recruiting teachers, reforms in, you know, classroom instruction, you know, greater accountability and greater responsibility for all those who are involved in the schools?  Whether all that can turn it around.  It's not always gonna to be more money.  Some of it's gonna be people all pulling together and saying to themselves--With the resources that we have, can we do it better than, ah, we're doin' right now.  And we're committed to working with, ah, Mayor Bing and, dah, everybody else to try to make that happen."
Devin Scillian: "My last question to you.  I can't imagine there's another city that's been more impacted by your presidency...than Detroit.   Ah, some of your supporters are frustrated you haven't been to Detroit during your presidency."
Barack Obama: "Well, the, ah, I gotta to say that, ah, I love Detroit, ah, I been in and around Detroit, ah, so, you know, sometime over the next year and a half, I'm gonna have to be smack dab in the middle of Detroit to make sure they're satisfied, but, dah, ah, eeh, you know, we're, we're, Detroit's an example of a great American city that's gone through really tough times, and, obviously, the recession's made it worse.  Um, but I remain confident that the same work ethic, the same spirit, ah, the, the, same belief in the American dream, that that's still alive and well in, in Detroit, ah, and in Michigan, and my job as president is to do everything in my power to help folks, ah, in that city and in that state succeed, and I think we can do that."
Devin Scillian: "I'll set up the hoops game when you come."
That ends the interview portion (during the program, Devin Scillian noted that the entire interview could be seen at the Web site for the show, and I did look at the full interview, but I did not wish to transcribe the enter interview).
Now, let me point out some pieces of thought that were presented in the interview that you should think about.  Barack Obama just ran off a bunch of clichés and platitudes and misinformation and lies.  Instead of giving concrete answers, Barack Obama regularly posed question statements, which offer nothing useful.  Barack Obama tried to give the impression that manufacturing in the country has not been succeeding, which is nonsense, since it has been for decades and decades and decades, and Barack Obama tried to push the idea that government has to be involved in research to spur innovation and that government has been so instrumental in innovation over the decades and businesses have not been.  Barack Obama did not even hint at the truth about why Detroit has been in decline and is a dead city (which I talk about in my document entitled Detroit and Death: A Future View of the United States of America, which can be reached by using this Detroit link), and why the education industry began to die in Detroit in the 1970s, and two reasons the education industry in Detroit started to die are (1) the schools did not crack down on violence in the schools and theft of items from students by other students, (2) radical blacks (such as communists like Barack Obama) pushed the idea that black students could not learn from white teachers so the schools pushed more black teachers into classrooms--many not qualified to teach, having been passed through high-level schools related to "affirmative action" programs--and pushed black-centric studies into schools, and (3) school staffers and managers mismanaged money and supplies (such as books that ended up stored in warehouses unused for a long time).
By the way, it bothered me when Barack Obama used the term "our workforce," since the term makes it seem the government owns what can be called the group of people in the country who have jobs and since the term sounds like what a communist leader of a dictatorship country would say, knowing the communist believes government owns the "workers" (slaves to the government) of the country, and I do not see people who have jobs in this country as "our workforce."
Here I must talk about Devin Scillian.  The introduction to this edition of T.H.A.T. talks about a study showing, in essence, the uselessness of electric cars as a way to reduce carbon emissions.  During the interview between Devin Scillian and Barack Obama, Devin Scillian said, "I drive a Chevy Volt!"  Devin Scillian seemed to be proud to be able to say that statement to Barack Obama, the communist and black radial and evil man, and it was like a boy (Devin Scillian) hoping to get approval from his father (Barack Obama).  The interview showed the foolishness of Devin Scillian, another piece of crap on Detroit television and another idiot promoting the idea of manmade global warming, which, as pushed by Barack Obama and his supporters, is destroying the planet, which--I say--is a lie.
[Note: I did not see Devin Scillian's interview with Barack Obama when it was shown during a newscast on June 6, 2011.]

Now, here is something for Devin Scillian.  Incidentally, Devin Scillian, Barack Obama's claim about "two-million" job created is crap, as you were too stupid to know--around this time, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics was reporting that, since the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was made a law, the country has had a net loss of 1.9-million jobs (Cover, Matt.  "1.9 Million Fewer Americans Have Jobs Today Than When Obama Signed Stimulus." CNSNews.com, 14 June 2011.).

Let me carry the Devin Scillian story farther.  Al Gore (who was a Vice President for the United States of America for a while in the 1990s when Bill Clinton was the U.S. President for the United States of America) is a hard-line "enslavist," and since at least the 1990s, Al Gore has been a prominent person in the push to convince the world that man is killing the planet through the use of, for example, carbon-based fuels, and since Al Gore pushes such nonsense as manmade global warming to benefit himself, I say that Al Gore is an evil man and a man with a defective mind, and even though it has been shown that manmade global warming is a lie, people yet buy into the idea, such as by buying the car known as the Volt (that partial electric car), which they believe makes them good persons (because they are working to save the planet) or because they are evil.  On June 20, 2011, on the first day of the Games for Change Festival, Al Gore showed more evidence of how defective he is as a man through a statement that he made and that got reported publicly at least by some news entities or blog entities, such as "conservative"-based entities, and the statement was: "...Well, one of the these that we can do about it [climate change] is to change the technologies, to put out less of this pollution, to stabilize population, and one of the principle ways of doin' that is to empower and educate girls and, and women.  Ah, you have to have ubiquitous availability, ah, of fertility management so women, ah, can choose how many, ah, children to have and the spacing of the children.  Ah, you have to lift child survival rate so that parents feel comfortable having small families.  And most, ah, important you, you, you have to educate girls and empower women with, and that's the most powerful leveraging factor, and when that happens, then the population begins to stabilize and societies begin to make better choices and more balanced choices...."   When you analyze the statement, you see convoluted logic and foolishness, but you do see--at least--he is pushing women to have and choose abortions (which is tied to his words "ubiquitous availability of fertility management").  But you have to wonder--What does "societies begin to make better choices and more balanced choices...." mean?   It is nonsense, and especially when you try to determine how cause and effect result in the conclusion that Al Gore's seems to hint at.  However, I do see it could be tied to government-controlled birth control and forced abortions, which has happened in, for example, China.  Al Gore through the statement is pushing the idea the overpopulation is causing climate change.  It is nonsense!  If you see pictures of people living in poverty in other countries of the world--such as Third World countries--you are seeing countries in which the political systems are socialistic political systems or communistic political systems or evil dictator run political systems or tribal systems.  By the way, in the United States of America, where he made this statement, women with their husbands are very likely to make choices about how many children to have, and that idea has existed for generations, and yet Al Gore pushed the idea in the statement that women have been, generally speaking, uneducated about how many children to have (I do have to note Democrats have pushed political ways on the black community--welfare systems--that have led to women choosing to have children to get money from the government).  To tie in Al Gore with Devin Scillian, I can say  that Al Gore's defective thinking, such as about manmade climate change, is in Devin Scillian's mind--Devin Scillian bought a Volt (and had to report that to daddy, Barack Obama, to get some type of approval).  Devin Scillian is either a very stupid man or a defective man, and yet Devin Scillian gets to anchor a big television station newscast on a regular basis.  (For more information on the defectiveness of Al Gore and manmade climate change, you should see "CAP AND TRADE" and Carbon Dioxide Facts and Nonsense, which can be reached by using this link: Carbon.)

To me, it is quite clear that Barack Obama is a communist, a racist, and a black radical and has a defective mind, and he seems to like China, a communist country, and Barack Obama and his associates are trying to make you believe it is good for the U.S. to be more like China and "redistributing the wealth" in this country will be good "economic justice" for the country.  Oh, did Devin Scillian report to you that in mid-June 2011, riots in Zengchen, China, took place (Lasseter, Tom.  "Claims of injustice spur wave of unrest in China."  Detroit Free Press, 19 June 2011, p. 16A.), and one reason for the riots is the gap in income and privilege in the country--that is where rulers (hard-line communists and close associates) are elites and have, in essence, the best, and most of the people in the population are not so well off, being politically and financially suppressed.  Barack Obama supports communism, and Devin Scillian seems to support Barack Obama.

Announcement: I say that Barack Obama is a type of man who must be described clearly to the public for what he is--a bad man and an evil man and a man with a defective mind--and Barack Obama should not be treated with kid gloves, and also the defectiveness of a political beliefs must to clearly reported, and since I published the previous edition of T.H.A.T., I have added a document--which is entitled Jon Huntsman Jr.--His Run for the U.S. Presidency Should be Blocked--to the Web site for The Hologlobe Press that shows why Jon Huntsman Jr. should never be made the Republican Party candidate for the U.S. presidential election for November 2008, because Jon Huntsman Jr. is not a "conservative" and is a supporter of liberalism and has worked directly for Barack Obama, and, here, I add that Jon Huntsman Jr. showed on June 21, 2011, when he announced his run for the U.S. presidency, he is not or will not be truly critical of Barack Obama, saying "....I don't think you need to run down someone's reputation in order to run for the office of president.  I respect the President of the United States...."  [To see Jon Huntsman Jr.--His Run for the U.S. Presidency Should be Blocked, use this link: Huntsman.]

On Tuesday, June 14, 2011, an interview involving Ann Curry (as interviewer) and Barack Obama (the interviewee) was shown on Today, and the interview showed more reasons why Barack Obama is crap, and it also showed why Ann Curry is crap.  The reason that Ann Curry is crap is that she did not challenge Barack Obama on the most idiotic statements that Barack Obama has ever made, and it shows Ann Curry supports a very bad man.  During the interview, Barack Obama said: "...The other thing that happened, though--and this goes to the point you were just making--is there are some structural issues with our economy where a lot of businesses have learned to become much more efficient with a lot few workers.  You, you see it when you go to a bank and, dah, you use an ATM--you don't go to a bank teller.  Or you go to the airport, and you're using a kiosk instead of, ah, checking in at the gate...." Yes, Barack Obama showed how defective his mind is through this statement, and that is for many reasons; for one, ATMs have been around since at least the 1970s, and it takes people to make them, and it takes people to repair them, and it takes people to fill the machines with money or empty the machines, and it takes people to make and work on the computer systems that are a part of ATM networks, and it takes people to make and work on information transfer systems, such as telephone lines or microwave transceivers, et cetera.

Oh, Today is an NBC-TV show, and Ann Curry is an employee of NBC-TV, and WDIV-HD is an NBC-TV affiliate, and Devin Scillian is an employee of WDIV-HD, and what you have is a collection of crap.

I bet Devin Scillian does not know and did not report or did not hear a co-anchor report that, around June 2011, the unemployment rate for blacks was about 16.2 percent (which is like that for blacks around 1929 or at the beginning of the Great Depression and which was information from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics), and the unemployment rate for black males was about 17.5 percent, and the unemployment rate for black teens was 41 percent ["Obama has failed blacks, says Bachmann as African-American unemploymenthits 16%."  The Daily Mail (the United Kingdom), 21 June 2011, 4:20 p.m.], and I bet, for example, Devin Scillian, instead of reporting this unemployment information, reported on some other topic, which was probably useless information, given the unemployment information would show Barack Obama is garbage and Detroit is not in good shape, and if Devin Scillian did not report the information, it shows more about how defective Devin Scillian is.

Then I ran across two stories in the Detroit Free Press that pushed crap related to electric cars.  On Monday, June 27, 2011, the Detroit Free Press published the story entitled "Carl Levin charged up about his Volt" (Kessler, Aaron.  "Carl Levin charged up about his Volt."  Detroit Free Press, 27 June 2011, p. 5A.), in which the subject was U.S. Senator Carl Levin (a Democrat related to Michigan and a man who pushes "enslavism") and his new Volt., and it was also about a federal bill that has to be passed into law so that charging stations can be set up in Washington, D.C., that he can use.  On June 30, 2011, the Detroit Free Press published a story entitled "Electric cars key for state growth" (Meyer, Zlati.  "Electric cars key for state growth."  Detroit Free Press, 30 June 2011, p. 1B.), and I say that if Michiganians are depending on electric cars as the key to state growth, they will have a dead state.

And I have a wonder--I wonder whether Devin Scillian is aware of the "Operation Fast and Furious," which I have not the contacts and sources to do justice to in a good story.  I can say that, basically, it is now a scandal event, in which, it seems, high-ranking members of the Barack Obama administration are involved, maybe even Barack Obama.   I say also that it seems guns were sold to drug people in Mexico and those guns led to deaths, even of at least one U.S. border agent, and it seems the selling of guns might be part of a scheme by the Barack Obama administration to lead to the making of new laws that would more restrict gun ownership by the citizens in this country, which is needed by "enslavers," who have to have a citizenry that cannot fight back against them, and that is the way of a communistic country or a totalitarian country.  I say, "Do research about the event on the Internet, look for more stories about the event over the months to come, and expect Devin Scillian to not report on the event!"

Advertisement: In March 2009, a book called Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which had been written by Mark R. Levin, was published.  Through the book, Mark R. Levin talks about how tyranny has been creeping into the country, and he also talks about how the country has been changing from a representative republic, which has a constitution as a basis, to something, yet to be defined, and although Mark R. Levin says that it is the statist who is causing the change, especially those who are a part of the Democratic Party and in government jobs, I say that it is communists, socialists, would-be dictators, and Marxists, such as Barack Obama, who are making the changes, such as by discarding The U.S. Constitution.  I urge you to see and read Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, and pass it on to others, especially teenagers and young adults (and consider listening to The Mark Levin Show, the nationally syndicated radio show, on a regular basis).

Since the early 1990s (at least), viewers in Detroit have been able to see episodes of the series called K.E.Y.S. Kids, a locally produced series, and on Saturday, April 16, 2011, WMYD-TV, Channel 20, began to run the program on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. or run the program at a much better time for viewers now (for a long time, it has had terrible time periods, such as early Sunday morning when almost no one is awake).  On Saturday, June 11, 2011, I caught an episode of the series again (I had not seen one in a long time), and, here, I present general information about what the series is.  Basically, it is a show for young children, and it is a show that regularly pushes the idea of staying away from illegal drugs, but the show is not a no-drugs-themed show.  Generally speaking, the series, which is a weekly series, is hosted by Maxine Willis (or "Ms. Maxine"), and it has a "Story Time" segment (in which Ms. Maxine presents a story), and there is "Uncle Al's Magic Corner," and the show has musical clips of children (sent by viewers), and Ms. Maxine does interviews of celebrities.  Ms. Maxine and the show sort of reminds me of Romper Room.  Maxine Willis is an adequate host (but sometimes I can tell she was reading from cue cards, and that was a little disappointing), and some of the main regular characters are Danszer "Do" Dinosaur, Sherri The Elephant, Zack The Lion, and Renny The Bear.  This show comes from New Center Community Mental Health Services, and it was created by Maxine Willis and Brady Keys Jr., and the episode that I caught was directed by Marvin Willis, and the producers were Marvin Willis and Maxine Willis, and some of the other staffers were Marvin Willis II, Mario Willis, Howard Willis, Lorenzo Cox, Chris Downs, Patrick Grayson, and Alfonzo Livingston.  If you have children, you might think about looking at K.E.Y.S. Kids to see whether or not the program is worthwhile for your children to see, and you should see whether or not the program does support--secretly--bad political ideology, such as that which is supported by Barack Obama (I leave the research up to you, since I do not have time to watch every episode and give the series some type of safe-for-children rating, but at the moment, it seems to be a safe program).

Announcement for the novice again: To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, go to Fox News Channel, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama, as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (to learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the Fox News Channel and those mentioned with it in presenting political stories and events, and you should discover CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV avoid covering things that make Barack Obama look bad or show his true nature, which could harm you).  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.

In the previous paragraph, I urged you to avoid watching CNN, which is a "liberal" news service, and, certainly, one of the most liberal members of CNN is Fareed Zakaria, who was born in India and is the host of a show shown on Sundays entitled Fareed Zakaria GPS (by the way, Fareed Zakaria received a Ph.D. in political science from Harvard University, which is a breeding ground for socialists and communists, as can be seen at least a little by looking at the document entitled THE CRUD AROUND BARACK OBAMA: My Rule-"Like Minds Get Together", which can be reached by using this link: Crud).  On May 31,  2011, Fareed Zakaria was a guest on Charlie Rose, the PBS-distributed program featuring "liberals" and the like, and Fareed Zakaria, in essence, showed on the program that he is anti-The United States Constitution, but that will not be discussed here.  On Sunday, June 19, 2011, Fareed Zakaria made a statement on his program entitled Fareed Zakaria GPS that I have to point out to you, and here is the statement:
"...And let me be very clear here--The U.S. Constitution is an extraordinary work, one of the greatest expressions of liberty and law in human history.  One amazing testament to it is the mere fact that it has survived as the law of the land for two-hundred-and-twenty-two years.  But our constitution has been revised twenty-seven times, some of these revisions being enormous and important, such as the abolition of slavery.  Then there are areas that have evolved; for example, the power of the judiciary, especially the Supreme Court, is barely mentioned in the document--this grew as a fact over history.  But there are surely some issues that still need to be debated and fixed.  The Electoral College, for example, is highly undemocratic, aligned for the possibility that someone could get elected as president even if he or she had a smaller share of the total national vote than his opponent.  The structure of the Senate is even more undemocratic, with Wisconsin's six-million inhabitants getting the same representation in the Senate as California's thirty-six-million people.  That's not exactly one man one vote!  And we are surely the only modern nation that could be paralyzed as we were in 2000 over an election dispute because we lack a simple national electoral system, so we could use the the ideas of social media that were actually invented in this country to suggest a set of amendments to modernize The Constitution for the twenty-first century.  Such a plan is not unheard of in American history.  After all the delegated in Philadelphia in 1787 initially met not to create The Constitution as we now know it but instead to revise the existing document--The Articles of Confederation--but the delegates saw a disconnect between the document that currently governed them and the needs of the nation, so their solution was to start anew.  I'm just suggesting we talk about a few revisions...."
Fareed Zakaria's statement is filled with misinformation and bad ideas, and I do not have the time to express to you all the problems that exist with Fareed Zakaria's statement, but I will cover one.  There are three main branches of the U.S. government, and one branch is the Legislative Branch, which is call the "Congress," which is really two parts--the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.  The U.S. House of Representatives is set up so that states have representation--voting ability--with respect to size of population (states with big populations have more votes than states with small populations), and the U.S. Senate is set up so that each state has the same number of votes--two--and the reason it is that way is so that no state can be dominate others.  Consider--If both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate were set up in relation to populations, big states could control both "houses" of the Congress, and little states could not affect legislation.  Having the U.S. Senate not set up in relation to population helps stop a few states--big states--from dominating what legislation gets made for the country.  A person has to wonder--Would Fareed Zakaria want to get rid of one of the houses of the U.S. Congress or make both houses set up in relation to population?  Neither suggestion is good if you want a country in which the people have a political system that is not easy or easier for enslavists to exploit.
Fareed Zakaria is a piece of crap of a man, based on only the one point of his statement that I have presented to you in the previous paragraph, and it shows that Fareed Zakaria is working to push the idea of false democracy--in a country that is supposed to be a "Representative Republic" and not a basic simple "democracy."

By the way, you do not want average dudes or dudettes to be involved in creating a constitution, since they lack the skills needed to do the job, and you do not what average dudes and dudettes to make suggestions for a new constitution through "social media," which Iceland has taken upon itself to use, and that is because it takes real honorable and smart people to make a constitution that is based on "the individual" and not on "an individual" and that is designed to block "enslavists" (such as communists) from imposing tyranny on the country and the citizens.

Public Service Announcement: If you wish to avoid giving a donation to nonprofit groups that support "manmade global warming" legislation or "manmade climate-change" legislation, such as the very bad American Clean Energy and Security Act (which is also known as the Waxman-Markey Bill), give to something better--particularly the Heritage Foundation and the Landmark Legal Foundation, which are organizations that support The U.S. Constitution and are working to defeat Barack Obama's plans to take over the country.   (You should see my document entitled "CAP AND TRADE" and Carbon Dioxide Facts and Nonsense, which can be reached through this link: Carbon.)

Let us get back to Barack Obama and television.  On Friday, June 17, 2011, Barack Obama was shown in an interview segment with Robin Roberts (as the interviewer) on Good Morning America, and, in essence, the main subject was Barack Obama as father to his two daughters (as was at least one article in the edition of People magazine for June 20, 2011), and I have a lesson to pass along.  Barack Obama is a bad man--an "enslavist"--who follows, for example, the ways of communism and the ways promoted in the book entitled Rules for Radicals.  Have you ever thought what Barack Obama must be teaching his two daughters (Sasha and Malia), such as for a way of life and what the two daughters are in this world?  He must be teaching them the principles of enslaving other people--such as in relation to the ways of communism--and he is probably teaching them about lying continually, which he does regularly, and teaching them that they are superior and special and are members of the elitist, who can do what they wish with others.  The way that I see it--Sasha and Malia are going to be pieces of crap as women.  Yes, my lesson, which you will not get on television, is Barack Obama is involved in breeding and nurturing people that you would never want to know, and Good Morning America promotes him.
Note: In June 2011, Michelle Obama and the two girls were in Africa, and I happened to see one clip of them when Michelle Obama and the girls were taking part in an event in which stories were read to children, and when I saw the clip, I noticed how unpleasant the girls seemed to look in the clip.

I now turn attention to a potentially bad thing.  On Monday, July 4, 2011, the network known as NUVO TV began to run a series entitled Pastport: Venezuela, as noted in TV Guide.  I did not watch the series, and I will not watch the series.  The series is focused on an actor named Wilmer Valderrama, who was a regular in the former Fox TV show called That '70s Show, as was Ashton Kutcher (the big supporter of Barack Obama), and Wilmer Valderrama goes back to his home country--Venezuela (which he left behind in 1993).  By the way, Venezuela is a country in which the leader--Hugo Chavez--has been like a dictator and has nationalized businesses, and Barack Obama has made friends with the head of Venezuela--Hugo Chavez--and has treated Hugo Chavez as a good friend.  I wonder--What is the purpose of making a country like Venezuela, headed by a dictator, look good to American audiences, given that that seems to be the purpose of the series based on the "idea" of the show presented in TV Guide?

A reminder (updated): Remember to tell your children and grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any president, which was a topic in T.H.A.T. #58, and remember to tell them to not blindly "believe" in leaders, and that is a lesson in this edition of T.H.A.T., as it was in the past and will be in the future.  By the way, remember, in the "Presidential Video," which is one topic of T.H.A.T. #58, one male says, "I pledge to be of service to Barack Obama."; one female says, "I pledge to be a servant to our president."  And make sure your children and grandchildren are not singing songs at school that praise Barack Obama, which has been done by children at some schools around the country since January 2009, since children should never sing songs that praise any politician, especially a megalomaniac and narcissist like Barack Obama.

Now, it is guy time for "conservative guys," which leaves guys like Devin Scillian out!
Since I published the previous edition of T.H.A.T., more unlikeable shows have showed up on broadcast network television, some of which are 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show (which began to run on ABC-TV on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, and which has a young brat-like host) and Expedition Impossible (which began to run on ABC-TV on Thursday, June 23, 2011, and which tries to be grander in scale than the Survivor franchise tries to be), and The Marriage Ref has returned to NBC-TV for a second season (starting up again on Sunday, January 26, 2011).  Sometimes in life you have to beat up on crap, an example of which is Barack Obama, and sometimes you can sidestep crap, which is something on did on January 26, 2011.  On that day, I began to run a recorder to catch the opening credits for The Marriage Ref, and then I took up sidestepping the program by not watching the program, the form of which I was already familiar with, headed by unlikeable people, especially the host, and what is nice is--sometimes when you sidestep crap, you come across something nice and pleasant.  While waiting for the time to start up the recorder to catch the end credits for The Marriage Ref, and went looking on YouTube for videos related to belly dancing, because I was thinking about my idea of producing a television show that would feature, for one, belly dancers, which was a topic in T.H.A.T. #84 (which can be reached by using this link: T.H.A.T. #84).  Let me show you what I found, doing the showing in two parts.
Here is part one, and it focuses on belly-dancing instruction.  While looking at YouTube clips, I came across several clips featuring at woman who called herself "Yasmeen."  She was pleasant to look at, and her voice was pleasant, and she spoke--like a woman (and not like feminist angry women, who are commonplace on television, such as on The Marriage Ref, either as contestants or panelists).  Some of the clips that I saw were "Oriental Belly Dancing," "Belly Dances in Greece," "Arabic Belly Dance Fat Burning," "Belly Dance Workout," and "Turkish Belly Dance."  In the clips that I list, Yasmeen has curly dark hair, but there are other clips in which she has long straight black hair, like that which might be seen on an Asian-type gal.
Of course, I found clips of women doing belly dancing, such as on stage.  One clip was "Kudiova Diana. My Dancing. Music Jai Ho"; the featured woman had long red hair and a good female shape, but, for me, the presentation was too fast--the dancing was too fast--and she did not do a really nice flowing presentation, but, yes, it was good work.  Another clip was entitled "Shahla Belly Dancer at Sawarah Jan 2010," and, for me, although the woman had a wonderful shape, her style as presented in the video was a little too wild, seemingly a little out of control, but it was good for what it is.  A video entitled "Maria Shashkova - 'Shik Skak Skok'" had a wonderfully shaped woman, and at the moment it is the third best of the videos that I saw (her face is a little too hard, lacking a bit of softness that would make her more pleasant).  One video I cannot give the correct name for, since a part of it was made up of Arabic writing, but here I will call it "bellydance : www.alibabal.de" (between "bellydance" and ":" is where the Arabic writing is), and if you use "bellydance : www.alibabal.de" as a search term, you should be able to find it in a list of possible videos, and you look for the one in which the dancer--a soft-faced woman--is wearing a gold-like costume (what there is of it), and she danced a nice flowing dance, and her softness was pleasant, and this video I have as number two-B in my list.  A woman with long, long dark hair is presented in the video entitled "Negma Bellydance Laylet Hob," and she is number two-A in my list, and she would be a wonderful contestant in my proposed television show.  The most pleasant video for me was a video entitled "Nesma in Cairo, Egyptian Belly Dance 'Enta Omri'" (and it is also found under "Nesma Egyptian Belly Dancer"), and it had a wonderfully shaped woman, with soft and happy facial features and sort of baby-fat body parts and long dark hair, and she danced a nice flowing and slow and erotic dance, and it lasted six minutes and nine seconds, and, to me, she moves like water or like waves on a small pond, and if I could do the television show with belly dancers, she would certainly be welcome to take part.
And then it was time to catch the end credits for The Marriage Ref, and I am glad I missed much of the show, based on my seeing the last five minutes or six minutes of the show, and if you want to see something pleasant, guys, look for Yasmeen and the women in the videos with dance segments that I have mentioned, especially the video entitled "Nesma in Cairo, Egyptian Belly Dance 'Enta Omri'" (or "Nesma Egyptian Belly Dancer").

Oh, you might want to have your children avoid watching the television series entitled iCarly, since the producers of the series have set up a guest shot for Michelle Obama on the series, which runs on Nickelodeon, and that means the producers promote the politics of Barack Obama ("1. Michelle Obama to appear on 'iCarly.'"  Detroit Free Press, 9 June 2011, p. 5D.).

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!

Vic
