- - - T.H.A.T., Edition No. 84 - - -

Since 1972, I have built up a collection of around 130,000 index cards with information about  television, and since 1972, most of the work that I have done to collect the cards has focused on national television.  Since 2000 or so, I have been building up a file specifically devoted to Detroit television history, and I have spent many hours at libraries associated with the University of Michigan (the Dearborn campus), Detroit, and Wayne State University (Detroit).  Within the past month, I have made another intensive attack at gathering information from old magazines and newspapers about television as it was in the 1940s and 1950s in Detroit, and now my Detroit file contains well over 5,000 index cards, and I have uncovered information about people long forgotten by other television historians and television writers.  This report contains facts and pieces of information about people who have not been thought about for decades and contains  more facts and pieces of information about television--the focus of all editions of T.H.A.T..

I am a man who is willing to show up crap, especially those who purposely push crap on others and, most certainly, Barack Obama is such a person, as I show in the thousands and thousands of words that make up the dozens of documents about Barack Obama that exist at the Web site for The Hologlobe Press, and I am willing to show up that bad reporters and "journalists" that exist, who hurt people by pushing propaganda or wrong information, and to lead off this edition I have to talk about bad people involved in presenting television information to you.  Tim Kiska, Ed Golick, and Eileen Trombley Glick are three persons who pass along bad information about television history, and, for example, the three persons are linked at a Web site run by Eileen Trombley Glick, whose nature I shall show evidence of in this edition of T.H.A.T..  Tim Kiska calls himself a "journalist"; he has written books, such as From Soupy to Nuts! A History of Detroit Television, which in the past I have shown to be filled with errors about television history (for example, you should see T.H.A.T.  #71, which can be reached by using this T.H.A.T. #71 link, and T.H.A.T. #36, which can be reached by using this T.H.A.T. #36 link).  I have more errors to show you that exit in From Soupy to Nuts! A History of Detroit Television, only one of which I shall show to you in this edition of T.H.A.T., since I am using this edition of T.H.A.T. to show problems with the group of people made up of Ed Golick, Tim Kiska, and Eileen Trombley Glick.  By the way, Tim Kiska has worked as an entertainment writer for The Detroit News and has taught journalism classes at the Dearborn Campus of the University of Michigan.  Eileen Trombley Glick runs a Web site called "Detroit Memories," the main address of which is www.DetroitMemories.com, and one thing presented at the Web site is information in the form of questions and answers related to television history by Ed Golick (who I have dealt with in the past).  Recently, I wanted to find out what Eileen Trombley Glick is about and who she supports, so I sent her information that my T.H.A.T. publications exist on the Internet.  I did not tell her about all the documents that I have at the Web site that document what a bad man Barack Obama is.  Look at what I got as a response (and the material is a quote):

Victor --

I am not interested in your postings or receiving any further emails from you.  Your overwhelming hatred of President Obama overshadows the history of TV that you publish.  The two have absolutely nothing to do with one another.  You obviously have an agenda other than what you presented to me and I have no interest in your political rantings.

Just for the record, I know Tim Kiska, and he has never purported himself to be a "TV historian" as you claim.  He is a TV journalist.

Now here I respond publicly to the nonsense that is Eileen Trombley Glick's little note.  I begin with Tim Kiska.  When a person writes a history book, that book should be well researched.  I have shown through past editions of that how flawed From Soupy to Nuts! A History of Detroit Television is, given now little in amount of text that exists in the book and how much "white space" exists in the book.  Here is another problem with the book, which I have not talked about in the past.  On page 93 of From Soupy to Nuts! A History of Detroit Television, Tim Kiska talks about Jerry Blocker.  Jerry Blocker was black, and he was the first black to anchor a newscast on a regular basis on a television station in Detroit--he worked for WWJ-TV, Channel 4, in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and worked at WGRP-TV, Channel 62, in the mid-1970s.  Certainly, Jerry Blocker is one person that a writer should not make an error about.  On page 93 of From Soupy to Nuts! A History of Detroit Television, Tim Kiska wrote for a heading for Jerry Blocker's section--"Blocker, Jerry (d: 2000)".  Well, I report that Jerry Blocker died on Wednesday, October 31, 2001 (as was noted in obituaries of the time, as the Detroit Free Press and the Michigan Chronicle). From Soupy to Nuts! A History of Detroit Television has too many errors to be trusted!  I do not care whether or not Tim Kiska is a "TV journalist."  Tim Kiska is a sloppy reporter.  I do not have information about the background of Ed Golick, but I do not care what his background is.  Ed Golick could be, for instance, a professional plumber and yet be a good "television historian," having used spare time studying and researching to become a good "television historian."  Ed Golick supplies answers to television questions at the Web site for Detroit Memories, which is run by Eileen Trombley Glick, and, actually, Ed Golick has supplied and supplies the answers in monthly "newsletters" put together by Eileen Trombley Glick.  I have found several bad pieces of information in newsletters put together by Eileen Trombley Glick related to television.  For example, the newsletter for January 2009 has some confused writing by Ed Golick.  In the newsletter, a person wonders and presents a question about what was Bill Kennedy's first television show (in Detroit).  Ed Golick starts out with this sentence: "His first show was called 'Dinner Theater.'  It aired at 6:00 p.m. on WXYZ in 1955."  Well, you have the answer.  Now, run and tell all your friends.  Oops!  Stop!  Ed Golick provides another short paragraph after the one that I have presented to you here, which I will not present in this document.  Then, Ed Golick offers a third paragraph: "In 1952, Kennedy graduates to the front of the camera with 'Your Hollywood Host.'"  Ed Golick through his entire work put together a sloppy and confused answer and even a vague answer (he regularly provides vague answers, as I shall show in the future).  At first glance, you would think Dinner Theater was Bill Kennedy's first show.  It was not.  Yes, Your Hollywood Host was Bill Kennedy's first show (if you do not talk about newscasts that Bill Kennedy had done).  I found out--through doing work in a library--that Your Hollywood Host first appeared not in roughly 1952--but on September 29, 1952.  If you are going to give answers to trivia questions, do the work first.  And then we come to another problem that I can only roughly solve for now here--Dinner Theater got started in 1954 and not in 1955 (I have yet to track down through trial-and-error searching and process-of-elimination searching the first day of broadcast and the last day), and, for example, around December 1954, the show was being seen at 6:00 p.m. on a Monday-through-Friday basis, and one regular on the show was a magician known as Dave Mitchell (whose real name was Frank Kenney).  My paragraph shows that Eileen Trombley Glick supports sloppiness.  I am surprised that the trivia answer provided in the January 2009 newsletter was not corrected later (it is an electronic file that can be adjusted later, unlike From Soupy to Nuts! A History of Detroit Television, where nothing can be changed, allowing errors to go on and on in the minds of readers).  Now, we come to Eileen Trombley Glick's little note.  You can see she is a big supporter of Barack Obama.  That means she is highly liberal, if not a socialist or a communist.  Yes, my editions of T.H.A.T. have an agenda--they are used to talk about television, such as Detroit television history, bad reporters and journalists on television (such as Kam Carman, who was talked about in the previous edition of T.H.A.T.), and things that politicians said on television shows or to television reporters.  Since many members of the media, such as all the members of MSNBC, are pushing propaganda about Barack Obama, I see that my editions of T.H.A.T. can be used to show up the bad that is being pushed on the American public about Barack Obama by media people.  By the way, I am well aware how unethically the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 was passed and what bad it has in it, and what that document is and how it was put together shows how evil Barack Obama is, and I note that, when you understand all the underhand measures and lies that were used to pass such a big bill, you have to understand it is bad, and since television and Barack Obama are linked quite closely--purposely--I talk about Barack Obama.  Now, Tim Kiska may call himself a "TV journalist," as Eileen Trombley Glick noted, but I say that Tim Kiska is not a good journalist.  Tim Kiska and Ed Golick have been able to hobnob with former television personalities of the Detroit area, such as Sonny Eliot, but that does not mean they do good work.  You should have noticed Eileen Trombley Glick noted that she was "Webmaster / Detroit Memories," "Editor / Detroit Memories Newsletter," "Proprietor / Everything Detroit Store," "Moderator / Detroit Memories Discussion Group," and "Administrator / Facebook."  I say in jest, "Are you not impressed?"  It seems very likely to me she sent those pieces of information to impress me.  Labels tied to a man or woman mean nothing, if it can be shown the man or woman is defective.  Yes, be aware--Eileen Trombley Glick is a big supporter of Barack Obama, who is hurting the country purposely, and that means you must be wary of Eileen Trombley Glick.

Incidentally, I avoid buying products from people who support Marxists and black radical, such as Barack Obama, and I say be aware of those with whom you do business, since they may be aiming to, in the long run, give you the business.

A special DetroitMemories (or, rather, Detroit-memories) commentary: While speaking of Detroit television history here a bit, let met take you back to the late mid-1980s when WXYZ-TV, Channel 7, Detroit, was promoting its "Stand Up and Tell 'em You're from Detroit" campaign, which was designed to promote the newscasts of WXYZ-TV.  In one commercial, Bill Bonds is sitting behind the desk and says; "You know, a while back, some people were saying things like, 'Will the last person to leave Detroit, please turn off the lights!'  Well, the lights didn't go out.  We surprised a lot of people, didn't we?  Channel 7's very proud to be part of this Detroit comeback story.  It's that kind of a town.  But to keep the comeback and the dream alive is gonna back a whole lot of work.  You can be sure on one thing, though.  When news is made in Detroit, our lights are gonna be on.  Channel 7 stands up for Detroit."  The commercial had music, which I am unable to present here, and the commercial was crap in the 1980s, and it is more evident today that what was said by Bill Bonds was crap.  The commercial can be seen as part of a YouTube clip entitled "WXYZ Detroit Channel 7 Promo 1985," which actually has several Channel 7 promos, such as one in which Bill Bonds and Mayor Coleman Young (of Detroit) are seen together, which is truly garbage, in that it pushes the idea of the chummy relationship between Bill Bonds (the big-name anchor man at Channel 7) and Mayor Coleman Young of Detroit, which should not exist--there should not be a chummy relationship between a news department and a mayor of a city like that presented.  But now look at what Detroit has become--a dead city--partially because people, such as Bill Bonds, looked the other way over the last few decades!

Remember: To learn more about Detroit, you can to see my document entitled Detroit and Death: A Future View of the United States of America, which can be reached by using this Detroit link, and it should especially be seen by those living deep in the past, at a time before crappy people of Detroit, such as Mayor Coleman Young, really began their work to kill Detroit..

In the previous edition of T.H.A.T., I talked about the six-part series entitled Pioneers of Television, television shows produced in Detroit for children in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, and syndicated cartoons that could be used in children's programs, and here I want to continue on the subject a bit.  I did not talk about in the previous edition of T.H.A.T. that CKLW-TV (Channel 9) had in roughly 1963 a television show with a man (Don Kolke) playing Hercules, and as a part of the show, which was seen Monday through Friday for much of the run, played cartoons of a syndicated series entitled The Mighty Hercules, some of the main characters of which were Hercules, Newton (a boy centaur), Helena, Daedalus, and Wilhemine, the last two of whom were bad characters.  I recently looked at some of the cartoons of the series so that I could get a sampling of credits for my files.  At the opening of each cartoon, it was stated: "A Trans-Lux television presentation produced by Adventure Cartoons for Television Inc."  The producer and director was Joseph Oriolo, and the executive producer was Roger Carlin.  One credit really caught me by surprise.  The last person listed in the ending credits was the person who sang the theme song.  That person was Johnny Nash.  Johnny Nash had a hit song in 1972, which I played as a disc jockey at Wayne State University, Detroit, called "I Can See Clearly Now."  Maybe, you knew that little bit of history about Johnny Nash's singing the theme for The Mighty Hercules, but it was new to me.

Advertisement: In March 2009, a book called Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which had been written by Mark R. Levin, was published.  Through the book, Mark R. Levin talks about how tyranny has been creeping into the country, and he also talks about how the country has been changing from a representative republic, which has a constitution as a basis, to something, yet to be defined, and although Mark R. Levin says that it is the statist who is causing the change, especially those who are a part of the Democratic Party and in government jobs, I say that it is communists, socialists, would-be dictators, and Marxists, such as Barack Obama, who are making the changes, such as by discarding The U.S. Constitution.  I urge you to see and read Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, and pass it on to others, especially teenagers and young adults (and consider listening to The Mark Levin Show, the nationally syndicated radio show, on a regular basis).

I note that Comedy Central ran Roast of Trump, hosted by Seth MacFarlane (a hard-left liberal), on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, and it happened after Donald Trump had been getting a lot of press, such as because he might be thinking about running for the U.S. presidency (for example, Rush Limbaugh interviewed Donald Trump on The Rush Limbaugh Program (a nationally syndicated radio show) on March 1, 2011).  Although I have heard Donald Trump hint that he is at least a Republican, I have been aware for some time that Donald Trump would not make a good candidate for the U.S. Presidency, though the press seems to be pushing him along.  In the past, Donald Trump has mostly supported Democratic Party politicians, and although recently, Donald Trump has talked hard against China, Donald Trump seems to be highly aligned with the Democratic Party.  Also, Donald Trump has a friendship with the Emanuel family (that which is closely tied to Barack Obama), one member of whom is the evil Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, who has been a big proponent of a national-health-care system for this country and who is quite an evil man (and evidence about what Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is can be found in my document entitled National Health Care and Mass Failure: The Reasons it is a Dead Issue, which can be reached by using this link: Health), and that makes me believe, if Donald Trump were to become the U.S. President, he would probably not sign any bill from the U.S. Congress that would completely repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, which is a horrible, horrible law.  On February 17, 2011, The New York Times published a piece on the Internet called "The One-Man Political Machine" (Turow, Scott.  "The One-Man Political Machine."  The New York Times, 17 February 2011.), and although the story was about Rahm Emanuel, it noted that Donald Trump donated $50,000 to Rahm Emanuel's election campaign for the mayor of Chicago; Rahm Emanuel had been, in essence, the right-hand enforcer for Barack Obama during the first two-years of the Barack Obama administration.  On Wednesday, March 9, 2011, I found a NewsMeat report (c. 2011 Polit Media Inc.) entitled "Donald Trump" that showed information about people to whom Donald Trump had donated money for political campaigns, and most of the people were Democrats, and the information about donations had come from the Federal Election Commission data of March 7, 2011 (by the way, U.S. Senator John McCain, who is a soft Republican and nearly a man who can be called a "liberal," was one of the persons to whom Donald Trump had donated).

As a television historian, I have seen how Donald Trump has been closely aligned with Democrats.  The people that you hang around with--and what they are about and what they stand for--can define who you are.  And the people that have surrounded Donald Trump over the years can define who Donald Trump is, and, here, let me show the people who have been contestants on the four sets of the television series entitled The Celebrity Apprentice.
For the 2007-2008 season (January 2008), the celebrities were: Trace Atkins, Carol Alt, Stephen Baldwin, Nadia Comaneci, Tiffany Falon, Jennie Finch, Nely Galan, Marilu Henner, Lennox Lewis, Piers Morgan, Omarosa Stallworth, Tito Ortiz, Vincent Pastore, and Gene Simmons.
For the 2008-2009 season (starting March 2009), the celebrities were: Clint Black, Andrew Dice Clay, Anne Duke, Tom Green, Natalie Gulbis, Scott Hamilton, Jesse James, Claudia Jordan, Khloe Kardashian, Brian McKnight, Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers, Briande Roderick, Dennis Rodman, Herschel Walker, and Tyronne Watkins.
For the 2009-2010 season (starting March 2010), the celebrities were: Bret Michaels, Carol Leifer, Sharon Osbourne, Darryl Strawberry, Rod Blagojevich, Holly Robinson Pete, Cyndi Lauper, Curtis Stone, Selita Ebanks, Bill Goldberg, Michael Johnson, Maria Kanellis, Summer Sanders, and Sinbad.
For the 2010-2011 season (starting March 2011), the celebrities are: David Cassidy, John Rich, Mark McGrath, Richard Hatch, Jose Canseco, Lil Jon, Gary Busey, Marlee Matlin, Hope Dworaczyk, Dionne Warwick, Star Jones, Lisa Rinna, Nene Leakes, Niki Taylor, and La Toya Jackson.
Of the persons listed in the four groups, how many and which persons supported Barack Obama for U.S. President and how many and which persons support Barack Obama?  I do not have the answer.  I do know there are many liberals in the groups, and they surely out number greatly those who do not support Barack Obama, one of whom is Stephen Baldwin, who is, in no way, like older brother Alec Baldwin.
There are many questions you have to ask yourself about Donald Trump.  What does "Republican" mean to Donald Trump?  History shows that John McCain, who calls himself a Republican, is certainly no "conservative" Republican, and, in fact, John McCain is a "moderate" Republican.  And Donald Trump supported John McCain for the 2008 presidential election.  Can you trust Donald Trump to sign a federal bill that would cancel completely the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010?  I have yet to hear Donald Trump answer clearly and definitely that he would--at all costs.

Announcement for the novice again: To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, go to Fox News Channel, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama, as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (to learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the Fox News Channel and those mentioned with it in presenting political stories and events, and you should discover CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV avoid covering things that make Barack Obama look bad or show his true nature, which could harm you).  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.

On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, PBS fed to affiliates a television program called Journey to Planet Earth, and TV Guide had noted that the program was about this--"The cataclysmic changes the world may face."  Yes, PBS put out another environmental scare program.  You know, I should produce a program some time in which the shaking--unlike an earthquake shake--is all pleasant, and I should make it so that I can draw more viewers away from PBS--the propaganda machine.

I cannot avoid writing about two things I saw in TV Guide recently.  On page 43 of TV Guide for March 7-13, 2011, there is an advertisement for a "collectible figurine" of Kate Middleton, and when I look at the representation of the figurine on the page, I am stunned by how rail-like Kate Middleton is.  By the way, Kate Middleton is that gal whom Prince William of England chose for a wife.  On an insert flap near page 21 of TV Guide for March 16-20, 2011, there is an advertisement for a collector plate, and again when I look at the picture on the plate, I am stunned by how rail-like Kate Middleton is.  If she were to take off her clothes, there would be nothing to see, and this is the type of woman that the worshipers of kings and queens find attractive and seductive.

In the previous edition of T.H.A.T., I showed evidence of how television has really gone to crap since the 1940s and 1950s, and one of the features was on "Kam Carman," a staffer of WJBK-TV, and I noted something that she did, which, I say here, would have gotten her suspended or fired years ago, given the full context of what she said in relation of the world today.  Let me show what the rules were at WWJ-TV, Channel 4, around March 1949, which was about two years after the real WWJ-TV had gone on the air (I am not considering that time during which the station was called WWDT in the 1940s).  Harry Bannister was the head man at WWJ-TV in March 1949, and he had his "tenets of television," and here are those that were publicly made known in March 1949:

Our television programming at all times must be so meticulously correct that no portion of our schedule will give offense in the slightest degree to anyone at any time.
There must be no use of blue material or of anything susceptible to double entendre.  There must be nothing in our schedule which will cause the lifting of any eyebrow by even the most strait-laced in our audience.  Appearances, language, intonation, gesture, must all be beyond reproach.  Racial comedy types must be avoided.  References to God or religion must always be reverent.  Crime and drunkenness, when used, must be condemned.
A list of all taboos would be too lengthy.  All cases, good taste, propriety and the avoidance of offense must be the ultimate criteria.
The producer of every program is herewith charged with the responsibility of securing full compliance with the letter and spirit of this communication.  He is further empowered to cut off the air--summarily--any offender, no matter when the consequences may be.
Well, did Kam Carman get chastised for her incident?  I was away for several weeks--from the Detroit area--after she had made her statement, so I do not know.  It seems very unlikely that she was.  But I suspect she did not.  But, for example, the managers at WJBK-TV are no Harry Bannister or Bob McBride, who had been in command of WJBK-TV sort of around the time that I began to build my television history files and who died a few weeks ago.  In the 1940s, Kam Carmen would have gotten chopped down for her crap!

By the way, since no one else will chastise Kam Carman, I do, given she deserves it.

So, let me jump to a subject for men.  The female newscaster with the best body on Detroit television and who would most certainly be wonderful dressed up as a belly dancer who was showing a lot of skin is the news anchor for First Forecast Mornings on WWJ-TV from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on weekdays and on WKBD-TV from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on weekends, and that anchor is a woman named Syma Chowdhry.  And she might easily win the string-bikini contest.

So, did your favorite newscaster at a Detroit television station or on a network newscast cover this story?  The controllers of the European Union, which is a collection of countries of Europe, one of which is the United Kingdom, has put out a dictate that notes that cars will be banned in cities in Europe by 2050.  I bet that information is new to your mind.
I have a follow up to the story here.  On Tuesday, March 29, 2011, Frank Beckmann--the host of The Frank Beckmann Program, which airs on WJR-AM, Detroit, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. weekdays--interviewed Lord Christopher Monckton, who is a man from the United Kingdom who has been showing up for some numbers of years the nonsense of manmade climate change and the evilness of those, such as Al Gore (a former Vice President of the United States of America), who are pushing the idea that man is killing the planet, pushing it so that the people can control the manufacturing industries and economies of counties, especially the United States of America.  Here are a few things that Lord Christopher Monckton said during the interview with Frank Beckmann:
"Frank, it's very good to hear you, and I'm sorry I wasn't immediately available when your, ah, team tried to ring me.  I was on, ah, call to a radio station in the UK about the same issue, ah, LBC.  Everybody is suddenly realizing that these unelected commissars of the European dictatorship, which is what it really now is--it's a bureaucratic tyranny by stealth--these people have completely lost leave of their senses.  And why?  Because they don't have to answer to any electorate.  They don't have to worry about recessions.  They just put up the money they demand from members states.  They can issue the directives, as they are called, and they do.  Every three hours, day and night, ah, three-hundred-sixty-five days a year, they are making up rubbish of this kind and then inflicting it on the hapless miserable struggling peoples of Europe.  And it's now time we did something about this.  We're gonna have to leave the irreformably un-Democratic European Union so that we can once again have something recognizably like democratic government.  And as you know, Frank, there is no democratic government that would ever dream of saying to its people--No, you can't drive your cars at all in cities.  This is the kind of dictatorial edict that a Hitler or a Mao or a Gorbachev might have done.  But is it not something that any truly democratically elected governing power would ever dream of suggesting."
"Well, ha, that is a very good illustration of just how dumbed down the population has now become--that the politicians could even dream of trying to foist a story as absurd as this and as exaggerated on this, as this on ordinary people.  They're, they're treating their own people with contempt.  They're insulting their intelligence.  Of course, every opinion poll now--particularly in, in the Englilsh-speaking world--now shows fewer and fewer people believing that the amount of carbon dioxide we're adding to the atmosphere is going to cause harm.  Indeed, there are two very important ****** which it's doing a great deal of good.  The first is that it may be helping to defer the onset of the next ice age.  And it is cold that's the real killer.  If the planet were four or five degrees warmer than today, as the most-excitable of the UN scientists try ta, try to get us to believe, that would on the whole be a good thing, and it would actually lead to fewer storms.  But the other thing that's happening is that the net productiv, the net primary productivity of plants in the PT, as it's called--net primary poductivity--the amount of growth we're getting in green plants all over the world, which we can measure by taking images from a satellite, is increasing dramatically as a result of our having pushed up the amount of, um, CO2 in the atmosphere from near starvation levels, as they were before the industrial revolution.   We've put them up by about forty percent since then.  And the plants and trees are loving it.  CO2 is actually greening the planet, and we can see this from space.  If you go to the Sahara, for instance, there, because of the slightly moister atmosphere, because it's been a bit warmer, the desert is beginning to bloom, and three-hundred-thousand square kilometers--is what the scientific paper measures things in--of the, um, the Sahara has now disappeared under vegetation for the first time in living memory, and nomadic Bedouin tribes are going back to places they haven't lived in in living memory.  And these are the, the good things, which you will never hear about in the mainstream media because they don't fit the story line, even though they're true, and we can tell from space this is happening."
[****** =  This word could not be understood, but I say that "aspects" fits the bill to your understanding the thought.]

I wonder whether or not Syma Chowdhry covered the story about the EU or, if unable to because of the management of WWJ-TV or WKBD-TV, would have covered the story, understanding the importance of the story to the individual?

In addition, I wonder weather or not Syma Chowdhry understands the value, meaning, and importance of The United States Constitution, and I wonder whether or not she would be appalled by this statement made recently by U.S. Representative James McDermott (a Democrat related to Washington): "...We must send a clear signal that the American people expect that they will, Chinese will respect international agreements and expect fairness.  After years of an unlevel playing field, it is time to act, and this, ah, motion to defeat it and bring it to the floor is the right kind of measured first step we can take now.  I hope the Republicans will join us in helping this economic.  I'm tired of reading The Constitution and all the silly things we done for the last thirteen weeks!  When are we gonna seen anything having to do with job creation...."  The statement was made by the U.S. Representative--who, to become a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, had had to swear an oath to protect and uphold The United States Constitution--on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday, March 30, 2011, and the statement shows that this U.S. Representative sees The United States Constitution as useless and something to be forgotten, and that shows U.S. Representative is an "enslavist" by trade and is ignorant or evil or ignorant and evil.  If given the choice about reporting the statement made by U.S. Representative James McDermott and not reporting it, would Syma Chowdhry report it?  By the way, some news entities, such as Fox Nation, did report the statement, which is why I know about the statement

As the theme for the television series entitled Secret Agent (which was made in the 1960s and featured Patrick McGoohan as John Drake) goes at one point: "...A pretty face can hide and evil mind...."

And speaking of reporters, let us look at what reporters heard before the start of a telephone-call conference between a U.S. Senator and reporters on Tuesday, March 29, 2011.  The reporters ended up hearing U.S. Senator Schumer saying this to other Democratic senators: "...The 'Tea Party' is pulling Boehner too far over to the right, and so far over that they're not, there's no more fruitful negotiations.  And the subtext of this is the only way we can avoid a shutdown [of the federal government] is for Boehner to come up with a reasonable compromise and not just listen to what the 'Tea Party' wants, because the 'Tea Party' wants to stick to HR1 with its draconian extreme--I always use 'extreme,' that's what the caucus instructed me to do the other week--extreme cuts and all these riders.  Boehner's in a box...."

Public Service Announcement: If you wish to avoid giving a donation to nonprofit groups that support "manmade global warming" legislation or "manmade climate-change" legislation, such as the very bad American Clean Energy and Security Act (which is also known as the Waxman-Markey Bill), give to something better--particularly the Heritage Foundation and the Landmark Legal Foundation, which are organizations that support The U.S. Constitution and are working to defeat Barack Obama's plans to take over the country.   (You should see my document entitled "CAP AND TRADE" and Carbon Dioxide Facts and Nonsense, which can be reached through this link: Carbon.)

Here is a topic that your favorite television probably newscast did not cover, especially if it is a newscast that is pro-Marxism or pro-Liberalism, which, for example, fits NBC-TV.  On Tuesday, April 5, 2011, U.S. Representative Paul Ryan (a Republican related to Wisconsin) headed up the team that introduced the proposed federal budget for the 2012 fiscal year, and, on that day, in the evening, Paul Ryan was a guest on The Mark Levin Show, a nationally syndicated radio show featuring Mark R. Levin.  Here are a couple things that Paul Ryan told Mark R. Levin and the millions of listeners who usually tune in nightly to the program about the proposal budget:
"Okay, generally, this is a plan to re-limit government, to get back to economic freedom.  It's a plan to get the government back to living within its means and, I guess of all the statistics I throw at you, the one I'm probably the most happy about, is we get the government back down to no more than a fifth of our economy--its historic level.  It's up to twenty-five percent...up to a quarter of our economy.  So we're taking five percent of our economy and giving it back to the private sector where it came from and where it belongs.  To me, that's important because the path we were on right now--that the President has us on--has been, by a time my three kids who are six, seven, and nine years old who are my age, forty percent of it, of the private economy is consumed by government, and then by the time my grand kids are runnin' around in this country, sixty percent of the economy goes to the government, and what this plan does is it gets us back down to twenty percent and it goes down from there.  And so it's about getting back towards limited government, economic freedom, you know, generally.  Now that's, that's the goal here.  Okay what do we do?  First, we start by cutting six-point-two-trilliion dollars out of the Obama budget over the next ten years.  Um, we do four-point-four-trillion deficit reduction.  We prevent all those tax increases he's planned.  We repeal and defund Obamacare.  And there were a bunch of tax increases in Obamacare that--not a lot of people know that--but, so we get rid of all those Obamacare.  We get rid of Obama care and all those tax increases.  We make the tax cuts permanent, but we, we go one step farther--we reform the tax code to get to a simple system.  I'm a 'flat-tax" fan.  I know there's a bunch of 'fair-tax" fans.  I've always been more of a 'flat-tax' guy...."
"So, we go ta a top rate at twenty-four percent for corporations and individuals.  We dropped domestic discretionary spending--that's government agency spending--below Oh-Eight levels, where we are right now, to Oh Six.  Ah, we reduced the federal workforce by ten percent over the next three years through an attrition policy.  So we pay freeze.  We do a freeze on pay for federal workers for five years.  Um, we go after 'corporate welfare.'  I call it 'crony capitalism.'  A lot of people are familiar with this as crony, as, as 'corporate welfare.'  We privatize Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.  Ah, Dodd-Frank--Barney Frank's, um, um, bill--that has a huge slush fund to the FDIC.  We get rid of that!  We go after all this 'green pork.'  Ah, the President jammed through Congress in the last two years all these subsidies for all this, you know, environmental technology that has no viability.  We go after all of that stuff.  Um, welfare reform!  Ah, there were a lot of things we tried to get in welfare reform--I wasn't around here then--but, in the 1990s, that didn't happen.  Food stamps, housing assistance, Medicaid--so we do that.  The block grant Medicaid to the states and get the governors the tools they need to reform that program.  I got great letters from Chris Christie, Mitch Daniels, Scott Walker, plaud, applauding this, asking for this so they can fix this problem in their states.  Food stamps has grown four fold in the last five or six years.  Um, what happens is states had this huge incentive to just sign everybody up for food stamps, and then that's it--they, they don't  check to see if people can go off of it, ah, they, they don't have any incentive to make time limits.  So we put time limits and work requirements on food stamps and housing assistance, so we don't have a system where we're putting people in a, into complacency, into becoming permanently dependent upon government.  I'm very worried we're going to reach this tipping point in America where we have more 'takers' than 'makers.'  And so we're trying to reverse that tipping point in this budget.  Um, Medicare reform.  Medicare is the biggest driver of our debt.  Medicare, ah, is the big number driver.  And so we propose to convert Medicare for, ah, fifty-four and below year olds to a premium support system, which is, um, a system where you get a choice of plans to pick from that compete against each other for your business, and in you have, you know, choice and competition.  It works like the plan members of Congress and their own employees have."
"...And if you believe, you know, if you're--you use the word 'statist' very effectively--if you're a statist, then you don't want the private sector involved in health care, you don't think the insurance companies should exist, you want the government to run it and the government to design it and define it.  And, um, that's why if you go down this path that we're proposing, you're breaking up a government monopoly, and, um, that's not good to people who don't like that."
That should be enough to pass along for now, given you should understand what Paul Ryan has proposed.

By the way, I bet Eileen Trombley Glick--my knowing the nature of the woman now--would be a person who, if given the chance, would block the information that I presented in the previous set of four paragraphs from getting out to people, being a big supporter of "enslavism" and an "enslavist"--Barack Hussein Obama.

Here is an example of another woman who is a big supporter of Barack Obama, and the information provided in this section will show the nature of what the woman is.  The woman is U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (a Democrat related to Florida).  On Tuesday, April 5, 2011, U.S. Representative Paul Ryan (a Republican related to Wisconsin) headed up a group of U.S. Representatives who debuted to the public the proposed federal budget for fiscal year 2012, and later in the day, Debbie Wasserman Schultz made a number of statements, such as: "...We see a clear attempt by the government to back out of its commitment to seniors.  As a result, many seniors will be forced into poverty and worse--some seniors will end up dying because they are forced to put off getting that pain checked out due to huge out-of-pocket costs that will skyrocket for them.  This Republican path to poverty is just wrong...."  This text shows a woman with a mind filled with crap, and it is not surprising the woman's mind is filled with crap, given that she is a supporter of Barack Obama, as is Eileen Trombley Glick.

And here is yet another example of a woman--a Democrat--who supports Barack Obama, which may not have been covered by your favorite television newscast.  On Thursday, April 7, 2011, U.S. Representative Louise Slaughter (a Democrat related to New York) said: "...This is probably one of the worse times that we've seen because numbers of people who were elected to Congress.  I went through this as co-chairman of the Arts Caucus when ninety-four people were elected simply to come to kill the National Endowment for the Arts.  Now they're [Republicans are] here to kill women!  Ah, and, ah, it's a very difficult time for us in Washington.  There ain't nothing in any of their bills that has anything to do about the health of a woman.  You are allowed to have an abortion if you have been raped or it's a matter of incest.  However, you have to keep a receipt.  Did you know that?  It's sort of like an old German Nazi movie.  Show me your papers...."  To make such a comparison between Republicans and Nazis--an evil comparison and a disgustingly unwarranted comparison--shows you the nature of the mind of yet another woman who supports Barack Obama--the communist.

A most special section: I have reported that I have recently been making one of my intensive searches for more information about Detroit television, though over the last numbers of years, I have always been adding information, and over the last months, I have seen hundreds and hundreds of old articles and advertisements and video clips.  On Friday, April 1, 2011, I came across two stories that really surprised me, and the stories have nothing to do with April Fools.  In September 1971, I became a member of WAYN-AM, the student-run radio station at Wayne State University, Detroit (for more information about the station, you are invited to see my document entitled WAYN-AM 860 RADIO of Wayne State University, which can be reached through this link: WAYN-AM), and one of the first persons that I met was "Steve Lawrence," who was the program director for the Progressive Top 40 format parts of each day, and I learned the basics of Top 40 radio from him.  I would later learn, while at WAYN-AM, that, for one, Steve's dad had been an announcer--a "booth announcer," who did, for example, station IDs--at WXYZ-TV.  On Friday, April 1, 2011, I found a "birth" notice for "Stephen Michael" Lawrence in a magazine and found another story that was tied to the birth, the latter of which I had found first.  Steve Lawrence whom I would meet in 1971 was born on February 17, 1951, and that was when the father called Steve Lawrence was an announcer at WXYZ-TV, and on February 18, 1951, another booth announcer at the station had a daughter born to him.  Because of the two births, which drew two booth announcers to hospitals, another "booth announcer" at WXYZ-TV had to work a twelve-hour shift, and that other announcer was Bob Maxwell.  You should see I have been finding all types of interesting things about Detroit television history as I put together a good collection of information about Detroit television history.

And now comes the adult portion of the program, and it is placed here because children are very unlikely to have the stamina to read this far into the document.  I was inspired to write this section because I recently saw a video on YouTube entitled "WXON 20 New Year's Greeting & Station ID 1977," and in the video clip were members of a old Detroit-area show known as Middle East Melodies and Bob Hynes (a Detroit-area radio and television performer), and also once I heard Barack Obama was going to Rio De Janeiro to hold meetings about trade, I wanted to see if he was going at the time of the famous annual festival at Rio De Janeiro, and I found the festival had, in essence, just ended, and I also found some videos of women who had been dancers at the festivals of 2008 and 2009, such as Viviane Castro.  I have come up with the idea for a television show, and I call it Victor Swanson Presents Great Women of Exotic Dance.  Think about it guys.  This program would feature belly dancers and samba dancers (like those real sparklers of Rio De Janeiro), and they would be set up in two main categories for my show, and the dancers would be dressed to show off as much skin as allowable on television (going a little too far would be like the woman in the video clip entitled "Sambodromo 2008," which is available on the Internet, but the woman would be a perfect participant, and, certainly, women like the woman in the YouTube clip known as "Carnival Girl" would be perfect participants).  I, having decades of radio-announcing experience, would host the show, and the format would involve alternating segments of samba dancers and belly dancers, all in those bright colorful and shiny and sparkling costumes and body makeup.  I could do interviews that would show off the personality of each dancer, covering a bit of their history and how they got involved in their art.  Of course, I would chose the women who would perform on the show, and I would make determinations based on video clips sent in to me ahead of time.  Now, guys, these gals would would not be shaped like Kate Middleton or veggie-only gals--these gals would be like shaped like Amir Amira (of Middle East Melodies fame of the 1970s) or Viviane Castro (or the Rio festivals of 2008 and 2009).  Hold it!  Let me break in here with a slight change in subject.  In 2008, Viviane Castro was disqualified because what little bit of her costume must remain in place came off, and in 2009, there was one point when she had a body-painted image of Barack Obama on her left thigh, and since Viviane Castro promoted Barack Obama, I would very likely not chose her to perform.  But surely there are enough women shaped well who do belly dancing and samba dancing who would be eager to be like real women--not feminists who hate men or those who wish to be like men--and take part in my program.  You should now have an idea of the type of women who would appear on my program.  I guess I would make the show at least an hour-long show, but the show would not be done live, so I would try to get enough good material for a ninety-minute production or a two-hour production.  Hey, to save money, I  would produce the show at a beach somewhere in Michigan on a sunny day (I would not shoot the show on a stage or in dark place, such as a club, since the sunlight would be important in lighting up the women and their costumes).  It seems very likely to me that I could find capable production-staff members, such as camera operators, in Michigan to shoot the production.  I know, for example, it is possible to make good-looking local programs about the outdoors in Michigan for WTVS-HD, Detroit, such as the weekly Michigan Out-of-Doors, using a small production crew, so I know I would not need a production crew any bigger than those used on such shows.  I would not ask for a tax-credit for producing the show, since I would not in any way want Michigan to have any say so in the production or later ask for a portion of the profits that I could get by selling the program and distributing the program (you are urged to see my document entitled Film and Television Production Tax Credits: The Bad Side of the Issue, which can be reached by using this link: Tax Credits).  I wonder if WADL-HD, Channel 38.1, Detroit, would run the show, given it is the mostly likely station for me to try to contact first.  Well, that covers the concept and the production team and a possible station, and now all that is needed are the performers.  Yes, send your DVD demos to The Hologlobe Press, and I shall review them.

I have to take up a topic that I have covered from time to time in the recent past--the pushing of super-thin women on television (women with, in essence, no shape and no boobs).  A new good example of the problem can be seen on page 8 of TV Guide for April 11-17, 2011, in which a reader will see a photograph of Adrianne Palick as the new "Wonder Woman" and see a photograph of the three gals who make up the new "Charlie's Angeles" (Rachael Taylor, Minka Kelly, and Annie Ilonzeh).  Generally speaking, they are not attractive, and, in fact, most look tall and lanky, and the blonde looks as if she starved herself or does starve herself (there is no muscle, so how is she going to be able to fight the bad buys and make it look believable).  I sure do miss Lynda Carter as "Wonder Woman."

By the way, have you notice the latest trend--The Borgias, Camelot, Games of Thrones, and Merlin?

A reminder (updated): Remember to tell your children and grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any president, which was a topic in T.H.A.T. #58, and remember to tell them to not blindly "believe" in leaders, and that is a lesson in this edition of T.H.A.T., as it was in the past and will be in the future.  By the way, remember, in the "Presidential Video," which is one topic of T.H.A.T. #58, one male says, "I pledge to be of service to Barack Obama."; one female says, "I pledge to be a servant to our president."  And make sure your children and grandchildren are not singing songs at school that praise Barack Obama, which has been done by children at some schools around the country since January 2009, since children should never sing songs that praise any politician, especially a megalomaniac and narcissist like Barack Obama.

PBS gave viewers Triangle Fire (a presentation of American Experience) on Monday, February 28, 2011, and then HBO gave viewers Triangle: Remembering the Fire on Monday, March 21, 2011.  Why have so many programs on the Triangle factory fire of 1911 showed up all of a sudden?  Why did HBO have a program on the subject?  It makes me wonder.  Was someone trying to make businesses look bad, harking back to that fire of 1911 and the factory conditions then?  Was someone trying to boost the prestige of unions?  It makes me wonder.

It is time for a television review.  PBS offered viewers Journey to Planet Earth on Wednesday, March 30, 2011.  Have you ever watched and listened to a real nut who pushes ignorant thought and lies and misinformation?  Have you ever watched and listened to a television program that is pure propaganda and scare hype and insanity?  Well, Journey to Planet Earth was filled with it all, from man's so-called causing the melting of the glaciers in the Himalayas to the linking of today with societies hundreds of years ago that fell apart, supposedly because of what leaders had done in relation to climate, and there was a push by the program to show that food shortages are going to take place in the world because of manmade climate change related to the emissions of CO2, and the program pushed the idea that we have to drop emissions of CO2 by eighty percent very soon--by 2020--or we are doomed, and there was an attack on the Western diet, and there was a never-ending parade of people making snippet nonsense comments, et cetera.  The program did not present facts and logic; it presented feelings and emotions and suppositions and mishmashed thoughts and filler, and it made comparisons of things that should not be compared and could not logically be compared (and pieces of thought had no place in the program, such as a metaphor related to Enron).  Let me be direct--the program, especially a featured man known as Professor Lester Brown (the author of The 29th Day) was crap and is crap.  (I could run a university class over ten weeks to show all the crap contained within this production, which should disappear into the dust to never be seen again.)

Extra commentary: In the program entitled Journey to Planet Earth, Professor Brown pushed the idea how the world is on the verge of many "failing states," some of which named were Somalia, Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Chad, and Haiti.  Professor Brown did not put the blame on communism and socialism or statism or what I call "enslavism."  Yes, the failing states have had decades and decades of terrible political systems and ideologies, the types of which Barack Obama supports.  Professor Brown noted that those countries will not be able to survive the under the weight of climate change, and Professor Brown noted that out-of-control climate change could lead to the downfall of civilization.  Such ignorance of others that Professor Brown overlooked and such ignorance that Professor Brown pushed, and, for example, Professor Brown did not focus on the ways of life followed for decades in these countries that never allowed people to create ways to make life better, such as by creating, for instance, water treatment systems and water distribution systems, and Professor Brown did not focus on idea that the ways were those of the minds of low-level evil people--dictators and madmen and enslavers and the like.  Yes, ignorance is commonplace in the world, and Professor Brown is one of the purveyors of it--communism and socialism and the like

By the way, Professor Brown was pushing his "Plan B," some of which involved the wish to get the population to come down to eight billion in the world and never go beyond that again.

Extra, extra commentary: Professor Brown pushed the idea of lowering income taxes and increasing carbon taxes to save the planet, and he put down "clean coal" and nuclear power plants, and while I watched the program, I got more and more a feeling of how ill the mind within Professor Brown is, and yet so many people follow him and listen to him, and it got to the point where I could almost touch the ignorance of the minds of all the people presenting their views in the program.  It was building and building and building into a collection of mass insanity--a mass dream of utopia.

That is enough of defective Professor Brown--and his defective mind and his scary and frightening collage of thoughts--and his defective program with many scary and frightening people!

Well, maybe it is not.  The ninety-minute Journey to Planet Earth program ended with words spoken by an actor named Matt Damon, some of which were: "...He [Professor Brown] continues to travel around the world, meeting with heads of state, as well as today's most respected and influential thinkers...."  That line, which tries to persuade the viewer of the intelligence of Professor Brown and those who are following his lead, is truly nonsense and sickening and propaganda.

And let use see what entities and persons were involved in the creation, development, and production of Journey to Planet Earth.  The producer was Marilyn Weiner, and the writer and director was Hal Weiner, and the outreach manager was Kimberly Klinger, and the series advisors were Bonnie Cohen, Rita Colwell, Geoffrey Dabelko, Robert Fri, Peter Hart, Nay Htun, Charles Kennel, Andrew Light, Thomas E. Lovejoy, Jessica Tuchman Mathews, and Maurice Strong, and the educational material was developed by Margaret Pennock and David Wood.  The production companies involved were Screenscope Productions and South Carolina ETV.  Three of the major funders were W. K. Kellogg Foundation, The Arthur Vining Davis Foundation, and Turner Foundation.  Additional funding came from Park Foundation, Weeden Foundation, and the Campbell Foundation.  I have to make a special note about one of the major funders, and that entity is the Wallace Genetic Foundation.  A person has to wonder what such an entity does.  When the Wallace Genetic Foundation was announced at the end of the program by a female announcer, the announcer said: "The Wallace Genetic Foundation.  The greatest private pleasure comes from serving the general welfare of all."  I figuratively gagged when I heard that.  The statement is the type that a person should expect to come from socialists and communists, especially those who might be working for population control--in a big way, such as to reduce the population of the world greatly.

Yes, the Journey to Planet Earth was a highly rotten program.

Okay, really, I am now changing the subject.

Here is a "for-the-record" section.  This season, some television stations have carried the program produced at WLAJ-TV, Lansing, Michigan, called Spartan Nation.  That program was a weekly program that focused on sports at the Michigan State University.  The main host was Hondo S. Carpenter Sr., and the two main analyists were Carlton Valentine and Tico Duckett, and a correspondent was Dillon Collier.  Some of the behind-the-scenes staffers were Merc Curtis (the executive producer), Bill Maloney (the associate producer), and Chuck Toner (the studio director).

In early March 2011, I did some video-clip research on YouTube, inspired by international events, and the theme of my search was foreign intrigue.  Actually, I began by looking for episodes of a television series entitled Foreign Intrigue, which was shown in syndication from 1951 to 1955 in what can be called the original run (in the years that followed, packages of the series were entitled Dateline Europe, Overseas Adventures, and Cross Current).  My search led to my seeing an episode that existed under Dateline Europe, and the episode was entitled "The Diamond Bullet."  In the story, Bob Cannon (a regular character in the series for a while, who was played by Jerome Thor) ended up getting involved with a woman named Gerda, who was a fashion model and was trying to smuggle diamonds, and Gerda was played by Margareta Fahlen.  Foreign Intrigue was produced in Europe by a man named Sheldon Reynolds, who was instrumental in producing a television series about Sherlock Holmes (played by Ronald Howard, the son of actor Leslie Howard) in the 1950s.  Since the episode of Foreign Intrigue that I saw had been produced in Europe, none of the faces of the guest performers were familiar, and some of the guest performers were Willy Peters, Bengt Blomgren, and Rangvi Lindblad.  When you use YouTube and you get to a particular video clip, you are offered other clips that you might think about seeing. Well, I was offered other clips, and one was called "African Affairs."  That title was all wrong as far as being the name of a real series.  What the clip was a portion of an episode of a television series shown in the United States of America as Secret Agent and shown in England as Danger Man.  The episode was entitled "Loyalty Always Pays," and I had to go through five clips to see the entire episode.  Secret Agent--as it was known in the United States of America--was shown on CBS-TV from April 1965 to September 1966, and, in essence, it was an extension of a television show known as Danger Man, which was a half-hour series, and that title was used in England and the United States of America, and that show was shown on CBS-TV from April 1961 to September 1961.  I do not remember seeing Secret Agent or Danger Man on CBS-TV.  I remember seeing both series when they were in syndication, and they were shown on CKLW-TV, Channel 9, Windsor, Ontario, Canada, in the 1960s (the television station was and is located across the Detroit River from the Detroit area, where I was and where I yet am).  In the Danger Man episode, which YouTube called "Danger Man - S1, e19 Part A," John Drake (played by Patrick McGoohan) had to find who killed seven men, and it looked as if the culprit might be involved in a murder-for-hire organization.  In the Secret Agent (a.k.a. Danger Man) episode, John Drake (played by Patrick McGoohan) had to discover proof that a Minister of Defense for an African country had made a secret treaty with China, and to get the evidence, John Drake had to get in to a special safe.  Oh, I knew some of the actors in both the Danger Man episode and the Secret Agent episode, such as Jean Marsh (of the Danger Man episode), who went on to be in Upstairs, Downstairs (the old version and the new version), and Nigel Stock (of the Secret Agent episode), who went on to play "Number Six" in the "Do Not Forsake Me, Oh My Darling" episode of The Prisoner, in which the mind of the real "Number Six" (played by Patrick McGoohan in the series) was put in another man's body (a character played by Nigel Stock).  It was fun to see those shows, more fun than watching almost all the shows on the broadcast networks today, and if you want to have some fun, track down the three programs that I talked about in this paragraph.  When you track them down, you will indeed get suggestions for other episodes of Danger Man or Secret Agent and other series and things

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!

Vic
