Since 1976, I have talked about--such as through radio reports or written reports--places like museums and golf courses and tourist attraction in Michigan; I did that for about 27 years when I was an employee of AAA Michigan. For example, I have talked about a furniture museum, a bicycle museum, a telephone museum, car museums, space-related museums, house museums, caves, arboretums, special gardens, fish hatcheries, opera houses, movie theaters, statues, and parks. The places have existed or exist because people took the time to set them up or have had time to set them up, and they did or have done their work since there were no restrictions from setting the places up from government and politicians. In such places as Iran and Russia, the people are so busy in life working to keep what they have or are able to get in some way from getting into the hands of the government and politicians or leaders that they cannot use time to collect things for museums and make museums and tourist attractions and the like, except those that focus on a particular religious or political leader, such as Mao (a now dead man who was a leader of China for years), who was a communist who killed millions of persons. In China and Iran and Russia, the people are on a daily basis worried about violence being trust upon them by the leaders of the countries, and so they are afraid to create things, and in addition, since in those countries, it is said that government owns everything, the people have nothing that they can save up that can be used to make museums and such, and I am talking about things and money. In a way, the people in China and Iran and Russia do not do much beyond what is allowed by the so-called leaders, and the people in China and Iran and Russia are raised to be beholden to the leaders and be pawns for the leaders and be soldiers for the leaders, and the leaders get to do with the people what they wish. On February 24, 2022, the leaders of Russia (who are driven by the rotten ways of life set down in communism and socialism and progressivism) attacked Ukraine, using citizens as the pawns in war, and on October 23, 2023, the leaders of Hamas (who are driven by the rottenness of Islamic law or Sharia) attacked Israel, using followers as the pawns for war. In the places that the Russians occupy and the Hamas-type people occupy or exist in, there are no or are very few fun places for people to see, as can be found in Michigan, such as a cider mills and corn mazes, and in those places controlled by enslavists, you will find no cultural centers, like the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit (of West Bloomfield, Michigan) or the Ukrainian Cultural Center (of Sterling Heights, Michigan). Yes, to fill time in life, the leaders of Russia and Hamas take up violence and war--it is something to do in life, until stopped, such as through death from a gun or a bomb--and it means thousands individuals tied to Russia and Hamas get to die in war at the whims of the leaders. If I were in an area controlled by the Russians or the Hamas, I would have no travel-tips documents on the Internet, since there would be nothing to talk about on a regular basis--things that could be seen easily and "freely" ("freely" not tied to money or admission). Fortunately for you, you are seeing another edition of Michigan Travel Tips.
Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islamic law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion, and it promotes killing of non-followers behind the face of religion and a god, Allah). By the way, a society based on "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping the ideas of the society based on ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders), whose main purpose is to keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than the U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.
Hey, it is time for a little "trail talk" history In the past, I have talked about the "North Country Trail," a part of which goes through Michigan. The trail system, which is designed to exist in eight states and was originally designed to go between roughly Vermont and North Dakota, is some 4,000-miles long. In Michigan, it sort of runs between Monroe County and Iron County by way of the western side of the Lower Peninsula (sort of following US-131) and the northern coast of the Upper Peninsula (sort of following M-28). The history of the North Country Trail starts in 1980, and it is a federal trail. In 2012, a single second long hiking and biking trail for Michigan was proposed, and the name of it was finally announced on Monday, January 26, 2015, and it is state-related trail. The trail is the "Iron Belle Trail," and it sort goes between Belle Isle (of Detroit) and Ironwood (of Iron County of the Upper Michigan)--sort of following 1-75 in the Lower Peninsula (though it has two kick-off parts, one of which sort of swings off to the Tawas area and back) and US-2 in the Upper Peninsula. Both trails are not officially completed, but they are about done; they only have, in essence, tiny pieces (in relation to the total lengths) not officially completed. On October 9, 2023, a tiny new piece of the Iron Belle Trail was opened up in the Van Buren Township area (near Lower Huron Metropark) of the Lower Peninsula.
While you travel in Michigan, you might see an EV, but, then, you may not know about eight-percent of the vehicles on the roads are EVs, but Joseph Biden wants about 50 percent of the new vehicles sold in the country to be EV-types by 2030. Meanwhile, Gretchen Whitmer and her associates in Michigan want 50 percent of the electricity production in the state to come from so-called renewable sources by 2030 and 60 percent by 2035 and 100 percent by 2040, and that is while people like Gretchen Whitmer (communists and socialists and liberals and progressives) want everything to be electric soon--cars, lawn mowers, chain saws, snow blowers, furnaces, stoves, water heaters, and more, while they are working to kill of electricity-producing dams and are not working to set up a lot of nuclear-power plants. I still say, in the near future, you will see fewer people going to tourist attractions in Michigan because people will balk at going to them or will not be able to get to them (especially the far-away ones) because they will not have the power to get to them. On November 28, 2023, Gretchen Whitmer as the governor of Michigan signed a bunch of bills related to energy into law, and I say that, in the long run, it will be bomb, given it is all based on idiotic thinking and little-girl-mind thinking.
My files show that elk were reintroduce to Michigan in 1918, and it is a note that is listed in relation to a place called the Thunder Bay Resort, which is located at Hillman (of Montmorency County of the Lower Peninsula), and that listing goes back probably at least twenty years in my files. Twenty years ago or so, the Thunder Bay Resort is where a person could get on board, for instance, a wagon and take an elk-viewing trip in the Pigeon River State Forest. It was in 1992 when that elk-viewing feature got started at the Thunder Bay Resort. Today, the Thunder Bay Resort still offers elk-viewing trips through carriage rides or sleigh rides, and, generally speaking, the rides are given on Saturday and Sunday at this time of the year (winter), starting at about 4:15 p.m.. I know not what the cost for a ride was in 1992, but I now know the price, which includes a five-course dinner, cost about $139.68 today (but the price could change a bit by the time you decide to get involved with the elk-viewing feature of the Thunder Bay Resort). The Thunder Bay Resort is more than just a place to take an elk-viewing trip. For years, it has been a vacation place, and it has, for example, a hotel for vacationers and even an RV park. My old entry for the Thunder Bay Resort in my files does not note that the place offers "Murder Mystery Weekends," which include a meal, but Murder Mystery Weekends are run today. My seeing that information about the mystery events surprised me. Those special events take place on Fridays (when they are scheduled). The old entry in my files also notes the place has a golf course, and people can still play golf there today. That golf course is used once a year for an event called the "Teeing Up for Kids" tournament, which is scheduled to take place on July 14, 2024, for the 2024 year, and that event is tied to the "Brush Creek Mill," which is a museum associated with the Hillman Area Historical and Genealogy Society. The museum is located near the Camel Back Bridge. If you happen to be in the Hillman area on the Memorial Day weekend fo 2024, you should find a yard sale is taking place at the Brush Creek Mill on Saturday, May 25, 2024. A person can expect to find that the Thunder Bay Resort is open every day of the year. The Brush Creek Mill is not open every day of the year, but it is open throughout the year. Generally speaking the Brush Creek May is open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a Wednesday-through-Saturday basis.
You now have information about three types of things that you will not find in a place controlled by people tied to Hamas--a trail, a resort, and a museum--and I urge you to do a bit of research to learn more about them.
Hey, is it not great to die for such a leader as Putin? Yes, Russians get to die as followers of Putin! Yes, Palestinians get to die for the cause of Hamas--Islam!
