When something happens, there is a result, or when someone does something, something happens, and that ties in that idea of cause and effect, and when something happens or someone does something, the result can happen nearly immediately or can happen at some later day, such as days or weeks later. When a person takes a gun and shoots it at someone else, the bullet may hit the other person, and if it does, it will have taken a split second to get the person, and the other person may not die a little after the bullet hits, but the person may die some time later from the wound, such as an hour or two later or a day or two later. When a person builds a deck to a house, the person may make a mistake that will show up soon or may not show up for a long time--a step may fall out while it is being stepped on and the person who was stepping on the step could be hurt. In politics, things done can lead to results that will not show up for days or weeks or months or years. Since the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 was created in 2010, the results have been showing up, and bad results are the rule, and even though bad results have been showing up, the U.S. Supreme Court--which is made up of six bad persons and three good persons--on at least two occasions has helped make it sure the bad results of the law will keep coming. On June 25, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court made a decision in the case called Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs at al v. Inclusive Communities Project, Inc. et al, and the decision had five of the justices outnumbering four in the voting process, and, now, in essence, the U.S. federal government can tell you where and where you may not live and has the power to say where people get to live or not; the U.S. Supreme Court came up with the idiotic idea that, if statistics show that a community does not meat the country's overall racial mix percentages, even if the percentages were not reached through purposeful discrimination, the federal government can say who gets to live where and can block a person from living at a particular place. That is rottenness of the highest degree! I state that the United States of America is a hard-line communistic country now, though you may not see it. But that is the way that cause-and-effect can happen. In this case, you will not see the effect--that the country is a communistic country--for a bit. In addition, more proof comes in the form of what Barack Obama has done to bypass the U.S. Congress in relation to the Iran-U.S. nuclear-weapons of agreement made public a few weeks ago. Barack Obama worked to make sure the United Nations--which is mostly made up rotten people and rotten countries--accept the agreement in a vote before the U.S. Senate could take a vote, and that, for the first time, really wiped away the U.S. Senate from having any say in "agreements" made by a U.S. president with other countries, and, in essence, The United States Constitution has been mostly replaced by international-government rules decided upon mostly by rotten people of other countries, and I say that Barack Obama will do it even more in the future. [Note: It was the U.S. Congress, especially the U.S. Senate, that has allowed Barack Obama to get away with the rottenness, and, really, more than four-fifths of the members of the U.S. Congress are highly rotten people). Yes, you are now living in a hard-line communistic country, even if you do not see it while you travel in Michigan today.

Now, I have a report to make. I am an "expert" on The Mackinaw WAGB-83, which was a U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker on the Great Lakes from December 1944 to June 2006 and which is a museum at Mackinaw City, Michigan. No one knows more about the ship. That is a fact! Last year, I became sort of an expert on The Calcite, a former freighter on the Great Lakes, the pilot house (or wheel house) of which is on display at Forty Mile Point Lighthouse Park, which is located along Lake Huron and along US-23 in Presque Isle County (the Lower Peninsula) and which is about seven miles north of Rogers City, Michigan. I put together a 13-page document (in single-space form) about The Calcite for the writer of the newsletter for the Forty Mile Point Lighthouse Society so that the person could better tell people what the ship was like over the years and what the pilot house is today, et cetera. It could be said that I am now an "expert" on Forty Mile Point Light Station (or Forty Mile Point Lighthouse), which is yet a working lighthouse on the Great Lakes. Since the spring started, I have been looking at old "Journals" (made by lighthouse keepers) and "Logs" (made by lighthouse keepers and officers of the U.S. Coast Guard) and other documents and things related to the lighthouse, and I have put together a 42-page document (in single-space form) about the other things at the museum park (from the fog-signal house to the sidewalks), and in the last several weeks, I have been on an intensive search for information. I am tracking down data and photographs. Here I am making a call for help. If you have any old photographs of the Forty Mile Point Light Station from 1896 to 1996, especially from 1896 to January 1968, I should like to have digital copies. Maybe you have photographs that your grandparents took, and you have them stored away. I especially need dated photographs, but I have to see all that I can (since so few probably exist) so that I can better put together the history of what the place looked like over the years. The photographs will not be published. [Maybe, in the years to come, I shall ask for permission to publish.] I simply have to see more photographs to be able to put the story about the lighthouse and everything associated with it together better!
Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islam law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" and "Islamic Law" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion and killing under the face of religion). By the way, a society based on "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping that ideas of the society based of ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders, whose main purpose is too keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.
Here--at one point--I had a paragraph that showed up the idiocy of a volunteer at a tourist attraction that is a museum in Michigan, but I took it out because it really was a high-level attack piece on the man, who, for instance, cared not if the museum had photographs on display that were mis-dated, even if mis-dated by at least 15 years. I beat up mentally on the man, though, who was about as good a guide at a museum as a dead tree would be. And that takes me to trees of Michigan. On Saturday, August 1, 2015, I saw a lumberjack show at the Jack Pine Lumberjack Shows at Mackinaw City, Michigan. It is a fun little tourist attraction. Two days later, a friend of mine showed me a piece of mail that had showed up. It was from the Arbor Day Foundation, and it was a "2015 Michigan Tree Survey" questionnaire. It was idiocy from a communistic-type group. The survey wanted to know the potential filler-in-person's age, education, ties to children, and work hours. What do work hours and children have to do with a tree survey? Some of the questions in the survey were (1) "Have you ever climbed a tree?", (2) "When you were a child, did you ever play under or amongst trees?", (3), Did you ever collect leaves, acorns, or pine cones for a school project--or just for fun?", (4), "Do you ever relax in the shade of a tree?", and (5) "Do you think in general, residents of Michigan care more about trees than people in the rest of the country?". It was all a bunch of bullshit from the Arbor Day Foundation. I state that the questions would result in answers that would have no useful meaning. With the survey sheet was a letter (which was signed--sort of--by Matt Harris, Chief Executive), and the last sentence in the letter was--"Your support will produce truly life-changing results for America's children. It is important that we connect children with nature now -- before it's too late to have a lasting impact on their lives...and on the future of the Earth.". I have cut down trees, and I have planted trees, and I say that the Arbor Day Foundation should be taken down for being like a rotten tree. Remember that while you travel in Michigan, maybe during fall "color season," which usually starts in early September of a year in the Upper Peninsula.
When you travel in Michigan, you will see many types of trees. One of my favorite types of trees is the cedar. I like the smell of it when it is cut.
A lot of people like the smell of flowers, and since I have yet to take you to a place to see in Michigan, I now take you to a place with flowers and at least several trees. The place is the new Richard & Helen DeVos Japanese Garden at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, which is at Grand Rapids (of Kent County in the Lower Peninsula). The "Japanese Garden" opened in June 2015. It is an eight-acre garden, and that means it can be called big. The designer was Hoichi Kurisu.
That is it for now about a very small portion of this now hard-line communistic country, which is getting more filled with rotten people and highly stupid people every day!

P.S. #2: While you travel in Michigan, it is easy to come across evidence of rotten people or to meet rotten people. One really rotten man is Richard Bernstein, who is a new member to the Supreme Court for the State of Michigan. Evidence of his rottenness can be found in my document entitled Richard Bernstein--A Man Who Hopes You Are Blind to His Rottenness, which can be reached through this Bernstein link. Yet, on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Richard Bernstein to sell Richard Bernstein as something good, though he is not (Ahern, Louise Knott. "State's 1st blind justice aims to be inspiration." Detroit Free Press, 12 January 2014, p. 4A.). I report--I urge anyone who runs a business and loses a court case in which Richard Bernstein was one of the presiding judges to file to have the decision thrown out or killed through another case, since Richard Bernstein, while running to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, made it clear that he was going to be biased against businesses if he were to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, and that is a fact. Richard Bernstein is a rotten man!
