When a person travels as a driver through Michigan by car or truck or SUV or some other type of vehicle, the person has to watch out for animals ahead, those that might be on the roadway ahead or about to cross the roadway. I have question for you. What is dumber a deer or a turkey? Many people think that the turkey is a really stupid bird, which is one reason, for instance, people have a tendency to call dumb people "turkeys." I think the deer is dumber than the turkey is. Ask yourself--How many turkeys have you see dead along the roads, having been hit by a vehicle? I see very few. I do see a lot of dead deer along roads each year. By the way, I have seen deer ahead--on the side of the road--who see an approaching vehicle, and yet the deer takes off at the last second to cross the road. Deer are idiots really! So if you are traveling in Michigan and someone calls you a "dear", be sure that someone does not have "deer" in mind really.
I report that a lot of people in Michigan (and really the United States of America) are "deer" because they believe and promote as true the idea that man is killing the planet by using fossil fuels or carbon-based fuels, and many of those that do are actually rotten people, being communists or socialists (the latter of which are nothing more than temporarily slight restrained communists), both groups of which promote government as the thing that should have the final say in life, though it is commonplace for bad people to get into politics because it is easy work and it allows bad people to hurt others under the guise of law. In addition, Michigan as a lot of people who can be called "deer" since they believe that the economy is going well, which it is not; for example, about 94-million persons in the United States of America do not work, though they could, and the federal government is lying about the employment rate, hinting it is below six percent, using false figures and deception. I still see evidence that the country is in a light "depression." By the way, the federal debt of the United States of America is somewhere above 200,000-billion dollars (or 200-trillion dollars) in real terms (taking into account, for instance, unfunded liabilities too). Given how much federal debt there is and how many people are not working, the economy of the country is worse than it was in the Great Depression. I noted that big badness is around the corner! And I state that Barack Obama's work to kill the energy sector of the country--based the lie of "climate change"--is going to hurt the country more. To learn a bit about the Great Depression, you could see the Scolnik House, which is one of the tourist attractions tied to the Lakeshore Museum Center of the Muskegon area of Muskegon County (in the Lower Peninsula). The Scolnik House--tied to Herman and Ida Scolnik--is restored to be a "depression-era"-house museum. It is located at 504 West Clay Street, Muskegon, and next to the Fire Barn Museum. Herman and Ida Scolnik raised children in the house during the Great Depression, which began in 1929. Generally speaking, the museum is open Thursday through Monday from May to October. There is no admission charge.
Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islam law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" and "Islamic Law" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion and killing under the face of religion). By the way, a society based on "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping that ideas of the society based of ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders, whose main purpose is too keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.
On Friday, September 4, 2015, I was at Alpena, Michigan. A friend of mine and I went to Alpena to take a "shipwreck tour" to sunken ships in Thunder Bay of Lake Huron. For the most part, the trip was good. For one, it was sunny, and the waves were not a high. The boat that I was on was Lady Michigan of Alpena Shipwreck Tours, which has ties to the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, which has ties to the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, which has ties to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association or NOAA (which is one entity of the U.S. Department of Commerce), which is in the Executive Branch of the federal government, which ultimately is run by Barack Obama, a rotten man, who has surrounded himself with and is surrounded by rotten people. In essence, NOAA is run by "enslavists" (such as communists and socialists) who are working to put the federal government in complete control of industry in the United States of America because they do not want others--business people--to be seen as higher in stature in society than they are and who want to knock others down in society to benefit themselves first. On the shipwreck tour, the captain took the tour group to three wrecks--(1) the barge known as The Haltiner, an unknown wreck called The Unknown, and The William P. Rend. The wrecks are in good shape, because they are down in fresh water and not salt water and in usually cold water throughout the year. It was a pleasant trip, which cost $30.00 a person. When the boat tour was down, I ran some errands in Alpena, and then I returned to see the museum that is the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, which does not take to long to tour and which has no admission charge. There are two floors, and housed at the museum are artifacts from shipwrecks, nicely made models of ships that have sunk in the Great Lakes, a movie theater on the first floor, and something called the "Science on a Sphere" room, which was on the second floor. That room is basically a propaganda room, pushing no real "science" and pushing the fake issue of manmade global warming, which rotten people say is leading to the death the planet at the hands of "carbon," such as carbon dioxide. By the way, the planet is made of carbon, and carbon makes up plants and animals, and plants need carbon dioxide to live. In the "Science on a Sphere" room, a handful of very short films are shown, in essence, on a globe, which often is made to look like Earth at either day or night. I sat through the presentations, and I said--"Crap.". And I noted that it is not surprising that it was ultimately "crap," since NOAA was one of the entities involve in "Climategate," which showed up, for one, scientists at NOAA for having lied about climate data and made up climate data of the past. If you go to the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, avoid the "Science on a Sphere" room or see it as rotten--being propaganda from rotten people (liars and crooked scientists). I did not see the films shown in the other theater at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, having already experienced the "crap" of the "Science on a Sphere" room. Also, be aware some of the pamphlets available at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center are "crap." One that I picked up to talk about in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips is called "How could changing lake levels affect your community? Seeing is believing.". For centuries, the water levels of the Great Lakes have gone up a down (and I have seen them change a bit every year of the last seven years or so, living right on Lake Huron), and that is what lakes and rivers do. The pamphlet is really an underhand push to get people to believe that the lake levels are going to rise greatly soon and kill cities and such near shores. The main text on the pamphlet is--"Use this visualization tool to gain a better perspective on changing lake levels. Images of local community landmarks together with maps showing water level scenarios convey the potential physical, social, and economic impacts of lake level change in the U.S. Great Lakes." I report that it is all speculation stuff, and NOAA has been caught in the past of speculating with false and made-up data. NOAA is not to be trusted. By the way, why does the text have "...U.S. Great Lakes." The Great Lakes are a border between the United States of America and Canada. At the end of the pamphlet (roughly), it is noted--"Funding for this project was received through President Obama's Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.". I note that Barack Obama restores nothing! And that is a look at the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center and Alpena Shipwreck Tours.

P.S. #2: While you travel in Michigan, it is easy to come across evidence of rotten people or to meet rotten people. One really rotten man is Richard Bernstein, who is a new member to the Supreme Court for the State of Michigan. Evidence of his rottenness can be found in my document entitled Richard Bernstein--A Man Who Hopes You Are Blind to His Rottenness, which can be reached through this Bernstein link. Yet, on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Richard Bernstein to sell Richard Bernstein as something good, though he is not (Ahern, Louise Knott. "State's 1st blind justice aims to be inspiration." Detroit Free Press, 12 January 2014, p. 4A.). I report--I urge anyone who runs a business and loses a court case in which Richard Bernstein was one of the presiding judges to file to have the decision thrown out or killed through another case, since Richard Bernstein, while running to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, made it clear that he was going to be biased against businesses if he were to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, and that is a fact. Richard Bernstein is a rotten man!
