Years ago, the first people with television sets in the Detroit area had an opportunity to learn things about how to be at least a somewhat refined woman by seeing programs tied to the John Robert Powers School (of 1124 Book Building, Detroit), and that means that through the programs, for example, women and young gals could learn about how to walk and about how to present themselves.  Today, most women seem to present themselves as tough--though phony--and angry things, and many are piss-ass women like Jane Fonda and Gloria Steinem, two truly rotten women.  Yes, the American woman has really gone to crap in the United States of America since the 1960s, when the modern "Feminism Movement" took off.  Today, a lot of women seem to think they have the "right"--the "right"--to kill their babies through abortion right up to about the moment of birth, and now Michigan has a law (voted into law on November 8, 2022) that will lead to that because a lot of women thought their "right" to kill babies was taken away in a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision--a lot of women thought nothing about when a baby is a baby.  By the way, at the same time, many Michigan women voted for rotten women--such as communists--to be in public office, such as Gretchen Whitmer as the governor (who proclaimed in 2020 that the medical community was racist against blacks because of COVID-19, Dana Nessel as the attorney general (who thinks "drag-queen story hour" is great for all schools), and Betsy Coffia as a state representative for the 103rd (who thinks ICE should be shut down), and there are other rotten women.  Hold it!  On November 16, 2022--I note again--I stumbled across an article called "San Francisco launches guaranteed income program for transgender people" [Betz, Bradford (Fox News).  "San Francisco launches guaranteed income program for transgender people." msn.com, 16, November 2022.], the theme of which was probably not covered on the Detroit television stations, especially WDIV-TV, though it should have been, and the story noted that San Francisco is giving $1,200 a month for up to 18 months to transgender people, and I say that that is the shit that is coming out of the LGBTQ+ movement--it is rotten and the people behind it are rotten and evil.  Hey, cut off your dick and cut off your tits and get free money in San Francisco!  Boy, I miss the days when women acted like women and not like men, who they are not designed--such as through mind structure--to be.  (I cannot remember the last time that I saw a woman in a sundress in person.)  This edition of Television History and Trivia focuses on women, but that was not done to please women.

In Television History and Trivia #222, I show how I tried and failed to find out, for one, who was the gal who took part in the nude-gal event related to The Soupy Sales Show (on KABC-TV) in circa 1961, but I did knock down bad information that exists on the Internet about the event.  While thinking about the gal again, I wonder where I would take such a gal to for a date night, if the date night were to see something like a movie.  Over the last several years at least, I have seen nothing nice promoted in advertisements for movies on television--everything is loud, violence, and dark.  At least in the late 1970s and early 1980s, it was possible to find a few movies to see at movie theaters for a date night.  Today, if I were going to go on a date, I would probably set up a date night in the living room, and if I were in the Detroit area at the time, I would probably look for something to see on--in relation to the broadcast channels--such channels as Channel 2.2 (for Movies!), Channel 2.3 (for BUZZR), Channel 3.5 (for Television Drive-In), Channel 3.7 (for Retro), and Channel 4.3 (for MeTV), and maybe we might look in on this, H&I, Decades, GET TV, Ace, Cozi TV, Laff, Antenna TV, Grit, Comet, and Charge!  Where I am in the Detroit area--when I am there--I get to tune into 87 channels, though not 87 feeds or services.  Some repeats exist, such as in relation to JTV, Get TV, SBN, Shop LC, and HSN2.  You should notice that I make no mention of seeing CBS-TV, NBC-TV, ABC-TV, The CW, and even Fox TV  regularly.  There is little that is nice to see on the last five services that I have mentioned.  A big problem is those services lack "diversity."  There is a lot of the same thing.  For example, there were a lot of one-hour shows that had the same feel or tone in the fall of 2022, and some of those were CSI: Vegas, FBI, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., Law & Order, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Organized Crime, S.W.A.T., Fire County, Blue Bloods, The Equalizer, and East New York, and, in essence, most were involved in trying to promote the same nonsense cities as good--New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.  In addition, for the fall of 2022, there were several more series--Monarch, Big Sky, 9-1-1, Station 19, La Brea, Alaska Daily, The Rookie, The Rookie: Feds, NCIS, NCIS: Hawai'i, NCIS: Los Angeles--that could sort of fit in the category.  Because some hours had a socialistic feel or feminist feel, good examples of which are The Good Doctor, The Resident, New Amsterdam, Grey's Anatomy, All American, and All American: Homecoming, I avoided them.  In the past, I have talked about the crap that Walker is.  And I state again that The Cleaning Lady, which originally showed up for the 2021-2022 season, is crap television.  That is enough talk about the one-hour shows, though I could do more.  For the fall of 2022, there were half-hour shows (a few) that were said to be comedies.  Some of the really bad half-hour shows were The Conners (with unlikeable people), Welcome to Flatch (which has garbage people), Call Me Kat (with a collection of socialistic-like people), and Bob Hearts Abishola (which is political crap).  And The CW network focused on nonsense stuff, such as feministic stuff, like that of phony strong young women (like models) who can fight and hit.  There were yet other shows that I could talk about on broadcast television, but I will simply say that there was nothing nice to add diversity to the tone of the broadcast networks; even the dating shows lacked niceness.  In essence, if I throw out the sports stuff, I can say that the broadcast network schedule, which covers ABC-TV, CBS-TV, NBC-TV, Fox TV, and The CW, had about 82 shows for the fall of 2022.  On October 22, 2022, I stumbled across an article on the Internet called "Will CBS & ABC Say Goodbye to Primetime's Third Hour?" [Darwish, Meaghan.  "Will CBS & ABC Say Goodbye to Primetime's Third Hour?"  msn.com, 19 October 2022, 2:55 p.m..], and it suggested that ABC-TV and CBS-TV could be thinking about getting rid of doing programming for the 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. block (Detroit time), which would be following the idea already being considered by NBC-TV.  The article pushed out the idea that the networks were thinking of giving up on the hour (considered the third hour) because people are streaming and giving up on seeing shows when broadcast on the broadcast networks.  I disagree with "streaming" as the main reason for the problem.  The big problem is the networks, such as NBC-TV, have been pushing out mostly crap or unlikeable series for a number of years, and people are avoiding the broadcast networks.  These days, I do not have or watch "cable," since the rule is that cable networks offer up the same dark and violence and unpleasant scripted shows as the broadcast networks do, and there is a lot of political crap--socialistic nonsense--in the shows on cable, too.  Yes, some people may be seeing broadcast-network stuff by doing streaming, but it still is very likely that the ratings for the network shows are not great when the ratings numbers from streaming and ratings numbers from actual broadcast times are added together (otherwise the networks would keep the ten o'clock time by being able to get total ratings that are worthwhile so that they can get advertising money).  [Note: By the way, I have noted in the past how the "above-the-line" costs of television series are bloated, and that is why television shows are more expensive than they have to be, and the bloat can be seen by counting how many "executive producers" get listed on shows and get paid money for being so-called "executive producers."]  I state that the network programmers have trapped themselves, stuck in providing the same stuff (especially because they are purposely trying to sell political crap and are not really working to entertain).  Hey, let me go back to the year that I was born--1953.  In the fall of 1953, when there were four networks, viewers had diversity in the types of shows that were available to see, and there were about 126 shows (plus some sports stuff), and I am only covering the time that is 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Sunday and is from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and it was a time when one-hour shows were rare and half-hour shows were the rule.  Many of the shows of that time can still be seen today, such as The Jack Benny Program, Letter to Loretta, "I Love Lucy", Dragnet, and Our Miss Brooks.  In fact, all the shows of 1953 could be called watchable today, since they were not violent and dark, and no show stunk in a way that such shows as The Cleaning Lady and Welcome to Flatch stink (both of which are actually highly "ugly" shows, as I have reported in the past).  I can say that it seems shows of the past from the broadcast networks are beating down the shows of today, which is why people watch, for instance, Svengoolie (which was expanded from two-hours long to two-hours-and-thirty-minutes long on January 7, 2023), and the people of today who are involved in making and programming shows have not the skill to fight back with stuff that is good and will be watched in the years to come.  And if the third-hour is abandoned by the networks, what the heck will the affiliates put in the blocks of open time?  Will viewers be stuck with more local so-called news and talk and fluff, which, for example, already floods the 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. block and even the 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. block?  Yes, the network programmers have been working to give viewers political crap (like that in This is Us, which, fortunately for viewers, is gone) for years, and I note that, as more and more women have gotten in charge of putting out the shows, the worse the networks have become.  Of the episodes of scripted shows that I caught sample credits for (which was done randomly but done to try to catch first episodes) for the fall of 2022 or late 2022, these shows had writing done by a woman--Abbott Elementary, All American, All American: Homecoming, Big Sky (partially), Bob Hearts Abishola (partially), Blue Bloods (partially), Bob's Burgers, Call Me Kat, Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., The Cleaning Lady, Coroner, Family Law, Fire Country (partially), The Goldbergs, Grey's Anatomy, Kung Fu (partially), Law & Order (partially), Lopez vs Lopez, Monarch, NCIS: Hawai'i (which offered up a lesbian theme), The Resident, The Rookie, The Rookie: Feds (partially), Station 19, S.W.A.T., Walker, Welcome to Flatch, and The Winchesters, and for the premiere night, Law & Order, Law & Order: Organized Crime, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit had women (partially) involved in the writing, but the stories of the shows were linked [Note: The "partially" means the writing was attributed to a team of a guy and a gal.], and that is a good reason many female leads come off a phony and many guys act like mush guys and talk like gals.  [Note: It is probably likely that all the female writers are "feminists" and socialists or the like, given what Hollywood seems to support today as a whole.]  In addition, while I am on the topic of "diversity."  Most of the female regular characters were made to be model types.  It was and is phony!  Of course, a lot of guys were model types, too.  Bridget Moynahan of Blue Bloods never once looked pleasant in the episode of the series that I caught the credits for, and, in relation to other series, many or most female characters as leads always seemed to be angry and stern.  Now, I get back to the gal who took part in the nude-gal event for The Soupy Sales Show.  She is so much more pleasant to look at--and not because she is nude--than were the gals who were on prime-time broadcast television shows that were offered in the fall of 2022 or late 2022, and not one of the gals on prime-time broadcast television would I want to be with for a date night--since not one was pleasant or could look pleasant in the face (and that comes from what the actresses have developed to be over the years, and it gets shown on the face over time).  And so the networks could give up on the third hour, and I do not care.  [Note: A few shows of the past fall were sort of working to sell the idea that the FBI is not a corrupt entity, which recent actions by the FBI show it is, and the shows are still around.]

By the way, on Monday, January 2, 2022, Fox TV pushed out the first episode of the new season of Fantasy Island, and I could have listed it in the previous paragraph if it would have aired in the fall--the first episode was written by a woman (Adria Lang), and the driving force of the episode as executive producers were Elizabeth Craft, Sarah Fain, and Anne Clements, and the show came off as lesbian crap and feminist crap, and Roselyn Sanchez, who is the main performer in the production, may come off as a model type, but she does not come off as pleasant to see since her face is not pleasant.  [Skip this Fantasy Island socialist crap and see the original Fantasy Island of the 1970s.]

I have reported in other documents that I have at the website for The Hologlobe Press that there is a lot of ugliness on television in this day and age, and I have noted how such-and-such as prime-time television series is ugly, an example of which The Cleaning Lady (of Fox TV), and now I have another big ugly event to talk about, like that which is discussed in my document called The Defective National Television Spectacular of June 2022 from the Select Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol, which can be reached through this Television Spectacular link.  The event is the presentation related to the final report from the Select Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol, and the event took place on prime-time television on December 19, 2022, and the members of the committee were nine members of the U.S. House of Representatives--Bennie Thompson (a Democrat), Stephanie Murphy (a Democrat), Zoe Lofgren (a Democrat), Elaine Luria (a Democrat), Pete Aguilar (a Democrat), Jamie Raskin (a Democrat), Adam Schiff (a Democrat), Adam Kinzinger (a Republican), and Liz Cheney (a Republican).  A number of networks or channels carried the event, which began to be covered at 1:00 p.m. (Detroit time) on December 19, 2022, and this document only focuses on what broadcast networks--PBS, NBC, CBS, and ABC--did as coverage; Fox TV is not covered, since, really, the presentation for affiliates of that network came from the Fox News Channel, coverage of which was headed by Mike Emanuel.  To determine what persons of the four networks being considered in this document did, I had to jump from channel to channel, and so my list of participants only has these members (and some people who appeared may be missing from my list)--David Muir (the anchor for ABC), Terry Moran (for ABC), Rachel Scott (for ABC), Pierre Thomas (for ABC), Jonathan Karl (for ABC), Dan Abrams (for ABC), Norah O'Donnell (the anchor for CBS), Nikole Killion (for CBS), John Dickerson (for CBS), Major Garrett (for CBS), Robert Costa (for CBS), Lester Holt (the anchor for NBC), Peter Alexander (for nBC), Garrett Haake (for NBC), Ken Dillanian (for NBC), Judy Woodruff (the anchor for PBS), Mary McCord (for PBS), Jamil Jaffer (for PBS), and Lisa Desjardins (for PBS).  It was commonplace during the broadcasts by the television news entities to have their reporters present thoughts that noted Donald J. Trump did crimes, though good journalists would never say such things, since a person cannot be said to have committed crimes till judged to have committed crimes through a court case or court cases.  For example, Major Garrett at one point while he was on camera brought up the idea and theme of the Watergate incident tied to the Richard Nixon administration of the 1970s, such as the what he knew and when did he know it idea, and Major Garrett pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump was instrumental in setting off the breach-of-the-Capitol event, such as by saying--"...He set it in motion!....".  That is one rotten moment from one of the news people.  Yet another reporter pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump was "singularly responsible" for the breach-of-the-Capitol event of January 6, 2021.  The tone of the presentation from the reporters as a group was that Donald J. Trump was a criminal and should be charged with criminal counts.  It was journalism at high ugliness and high rottenness.  The coverage began at 1:00 p.m. (Detroit time), though the committee would not start up work till about 1:07 p.m. (Detroit time).  The event opened up with an opening statement or opening statements from Bennie Thompson, the chairman of the committee, and he passed along no evidence of Donald J. Trump's having done something criminal, but Bennie Thompson passed along such fluff as Donald J. Trump stirred up people, such as by saying the election was defective, to block the transfer of power, though, for example, good and smart and honor people who were watching the event knew Donald J. Trump at the end of his speech on January 6, 2021, had urged people to go--walk--to the U.S. Capitol and be peaceful, and when he made the statement, the breach-of-the-Capitol event had already happened by some twenty minutes or so.  Liz Cheney was the next person to present opening statements, which began with useless information--having no bearing on the present or on Donald J. Trump--about her great, great grandfather, who was involved with the Civil War of the 1860s, and Liz Cheney pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump continually said that the election was corrupted.  Once Liz Cheney was done, the floor was taken by Bennie Thompson again, and he noted how there were ten public hearings from the Select Committee, and his big presentation then was a video that was made up of snippets.  Nothing presented in the video was proof of Donald J. Trump's having committed crimes.  In the video, one woman was seen talking about how she saw police officers on the ground at the Capitol and how people were slipping on blood.  In the video, William Barr pushed out the idea that, soon after the election, there was no evidence (in his mind) of fraud in the election, and he passed that idea along to Donald J. Trump [Note: In the early days after the election, William Barr had conducted no great investigation, and, generally speaking, no one had yet conducted any real investigation of the election.].  A black woman was seen in the video presentation, and the theme from her was about Rudy Giuliani's suggesting she was involved with the passing along of a USB drive (with something bad on it), and the black woman noted that she was only passing along a ginger mint [Note: Whether or not Rudy Giuliani was wrong in his assessment of the woman's action of passing something is no matter, but what matters is the theme has no ties to Donald J. Trump's supposedly having done something wrong.].  The video had information about how people (politicians and staffers of the politicians) in the U.S. Capitol were calling home to say goodbye, fearing for their lives (it seems) [Note: That idea of calling home has no ties to Donald J. Trump.].  One woman in the video talked about the idea that Rudy Giuliani was saying that the day at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, was going to be a "great day." [Note: "Great day"--the meaning is unknown since it is tied to nothing concrete, but the presentation worked to suggest it was said in relation to the idea that something wrong was going to be done at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.].  The video covered the idea that Donald J. Trump was in dereliction of duty for about 187 minutes while he was in his dining room watching coverage of the breach-of-the-Capiltol event on television, and, by the way, later Elaine Luria would take up the topic in her opening statement-section, saying Donald J. Trump did not put out a public note between 1:10 p.m. and 4:17 p.m. to make "his" supporters leave the U.S. Capitol and go home [Note: But the video did not note some important facts to know.  When the breach-of-the-Capitol event began, Donald J. Trump was yet giving his speech to supporters (it seems) at a location that was some 20-minutes-walking time away from the U.S. Capitol, and when the breach-of-the-Capitol event took place, no one at the U.S. Capitol contacted Donald J. Trump to report the breach event and maybe get more security sent to the U.S. Capitol.  Facts show that U.S. Donald J. Trump offered National Guard help to the people in charge of security for the U.S. Capitol about two days previous of January 6, 2021, and those in charge of the U.S. Capitol did not take up the offer.  It must be kept in mind that a U.S. president cannot and may not send security people to the U.S. Capitol without a request from those in charge of the U.S. Capitol, such as the Speaker of the House, who was Nancy Pelosi at the time of the breach-of-the-Capitol.  It would have been bad for U.S. President Donald J. Trump to send more security people to the U.S. Capitol without getting a request, because people could later say that he took part in a true insurrection--sending armed people.  Neither Nancy Pelosi nor the head of security at the U.S. Capitol--upon the immediate breach of the security at the White House--made an urgent request for, for example, National Guard personnel to show up at the U.S. Capitol, which would probably have ended Donald J. Trump's speech abruptly.].  In essence, when the video was done running, Zoe Lofgren got to make her opening statements, and then Adam Schiff got of make his opening statements, and a person who heard the statements heard stuff about Donald J. Trump's "Big Lie" and about their believing Donald J. Trump was offering up false statements about the election being stolen.  A good and smart and honorable person is well aware that a person can say things that the person feels should be said in relation to an election, and if a court case actually takes place, the person can present the proof to back up the claims.  It is not unlawful to challenge election results, and it has been done by Democrats and by Republicans for decades, such as by Al Gore when he challenged the results of the election in which he ran to become a U.S. president.  By the way, Zoe Lofgren pushed out the idea that there were 61 court cases tied directly to Donald J. Trump's challenge of the election, but that is misleading information--In essence, judges received documents to hear court cases, but the judges blocked the cases from ever getting started, such as to the point where evidence of fraud could be presented in public and for the American public.  I have to say that someone seems to have been involved in fake electoral certificates (based of what the committee members said), but I have no information about what that is really about, and if some people were involved in presenting fake electoral certificates somewhere, it seems very unlikely Donald J. Trump was instrumental in having those presented to whomever they were presented, given Donald J. Trump's background does not show perpetual scummy behavior, as Joe Biden's background shows.  The idea about fake electoral certificates has to be set aside, especially since no proof was offered up by the committee (after doing some one year and half of research) in relation to Donald J. Trump's being tied to fake electoral certificates.  I have to report that during the talk by the committee people, it was said that the people at the U.S. Capitol were "his" supporters and that he did not to shut down "his" supporters for being within the boundaries of the U.S. Capitol by making a public statement.  Since people breached the borders of the U.S. Capitol while Donald J. Trump was about 20-minutes walking time away, were they really "his" supporters?  Maybe the people who instigated the breach were working to discredit Donald J. Trump in the future, and it must be kept in mind that the federal government, such as the FBI [the management of which was corrupt at the time, especially based on its work of having lied to FISA court people to get warrants to spy on Trump-associated people], could have been involved in having people (secretly against Donald J. Trump) lead the breach through the borders of the U.S. Capitol proper.  To a smart and good and honorable person, the presentation by the Select Committee seemed to be nothing more than something--a show of snippet information--designed to give an impression of criminality when no real proof criminality existed or exists; for example, there were a lot of accusations that Donald Trump pressured people, such as by saying Donald Trump repeatedly "attacked" officials and fired up people to do bad by pushing out false claims, and Adam Schiff even worked to present the idea that Donald J. Trump is tied to "death threats" on people (through indirect actions), but there was no proof.  Finally, Jamie Raskin spoke, and, for one, he presented information on what the Select Committee was going to present to the U.S. Department of Justice, indicating it is the belief of the Select Committee that Donald J. Trump should be tried criminally, and one reason is that Donald J. Trump gave "aid and comfort" to the violators at the U.S. Capitol [it seems for Donald J. Trump's not making a public statement to get people to leave the U.S. Capitol], or Donald J. Trump assisted the violators by not urging them to leave.  A vote by the members of the Select Committee took place, officially offering up the idea that the final report should be passed on, such as to the U.S. Department of Justice.  At about 2:16 p.m. (Detroit time), Bennie Thompson closed down the session of the Select Committee, and, roughly, CBS, NBC, and PBS gave up on the broadcast of the special event at 2:30 p.m., and ABC shut down coverage at about 2:41 p.m..  When the event was over, good and smart and honorable people knew the presentation was only a show that offered up shallow thoughts and that offered recommendations to the U.S. Department of Justice, which may or may not inspire the U.S. Department of Justice to do something.

Here is some more bad television to pass along to you.  For this television season--the 2022-2023 television season--WMYD-TV, Channel 20.1, is carrying the syndicated series (Sundays at 1:30 a.m.) called ring NATION, which shows, in essence, surveillance footage captured by "ring" cameras from all over the country (at least).  The premise of the show sounds like stuff from communistic societies, such as China, doing surveillance, and it even reminds me of the old film called Fahrenheit 451 (particularly the 1966 film featuring Oskar Werner and Julie Christie that was based on the novel by Ray Bradbury).  The main host of ring NATION is Wanda Sykes, a black gal (a comedienne), whose history shows that she is a big supporter of socialism and like rottenness, and she was and is a big supporter of Barack Hussein Obama, a supporter of communism and socialism, as history shows.  By the way, the two co-hosts of the series are Crystal Cruz and Steve Patterson.  Next, I report that, at about 10:15 a.m. on December 25, 2022, I happened to tune in to Movies! (a subchannel existing on Channel 2.2 (broadcast) in the Detroit area), and it was airing an episode of Getting Green (which came out of a weekly syndicated series called Real Green, the history of which began in 2010, or is the second name for Real Green), and the series--which is hosted by Alex Paen (who has been involved in syndication for years, such as with Missing and Animal Rescue)--seems to be designed to teach environmental crap.  At one point in the episode, which is promoted to be "E/I" (educational and informative), viewers saw people tied to the St. Columb Minor School (Newquay, England), and it was reported that "green" stuff is regularly incorporated into the teaching of little children, and at one point, kids were shown singing a song-like thing (like a chant) focusing on solar panels and windmills, and it was like when communistic children are taught songs to praise communistic leaders, which did happen in relation to a school in this country when Barack Hussein Obama was the U.S. president--black children were being taught to sing a song praising Barack Hussen Obama (like songs used to praise Mao--a killer of millions of Chinese to bring communism to the rise in China). I state that Getting Green and ring NATION are two series to avoid!

Years ago, "specials" were usually one-shot worthwhile television shows on broadcast network television in prime time, and they were "special," and they could even be "spectaculars."  The heyday for good specials was between 1951 (when national distribution of television programs could be done live all across the nation) and the 1990s, and many of the specials featured great singers or dancers or performers, such as Bob Hope or Danny Kaye.  On November 17, 1957, NBC-TV aired General Motors 50th Anniversary Show, which featured a lot of big-name performers.  On April 5, 1958, Bob Hope was the featured person of the NBC-TV special called Bob Hope in Moscow.  Ed Wynn and Keenan Wynn (the former the father, the latter the son) performed in a Playhouse 90 production called The Man in the Funny Suit for CBS-TV, and it might be the first dramatic "special" in television history featuring a father and his son.  On February 4, 1974, the very shapely and cute Mitzi Gaynor was the main performer in a show called Mitzi...A Tribute to the American Housewife, and it was on CBS-TV.  On March 27, 1976, CBS-TV aired Pinocchio, which featured Danny Kaye as Gepetto and Sandy Duncan as Pinocchio, and, by the way, this past holiday season, Television Drive-In (Channel 3.6) of the Detroit area aired the production (as a repeat, of course) several times, as it had done about year previously.  And in September 1986, ABC-TV aired a production under the ABC Novel for Television umbrella title, and the program was The Winds of War, in which Robert Mitchum was the main performer, and it was aired in the heyday of mini-series (which was in the late 1970s and in the 1980s) [Note: A true "mini-series" is a made-for-television movie that has at least two parts (or airs on at least two days), each part of which is at least 90-minutes long.].  I have only listed a few of the hundreds of specials that were aired in the heyday of specials.  Today, "specials"--especially fun and good and nice specials--are rarely aired on broadcast television.  On Monday, January 2, 2023, from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Detroit time), Fox TV aired Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians, and the producers and such wanted viewers to feel for Lamar Odom, who had screwed up his life, such as in around 2015, when he had almost died because of his crappy lifestyle, which has been tied, for one, to the crappy Kardashian family.  I ask--Why should viewers care about Lamar Odom?  So Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians qualifies as something "special"?  I say crap on that!  Oh, meanwhile, while Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians was on the air, people who were watching Monday Night Football (such as on ABC-TV) were aware something was seriously wrong with Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills, who at about 8:55 p.m. had made a play and collapsed.  Incidentally, Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians was not listed in the television-listings grid of TV Guide so maybe a lot of people had no idea that Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians was even on the air.  In essence, Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians came from the people involved with TMZ, such as Harvey Levin, Charles Latibeaudiere, Brad Appleton, Katie Hayes, and Michael Babcock.
[Special note: On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, Charlie Kirk had Dr. Robert Malone (who has been involved in mRNA research and viruses) as a guest on the nationally syndicated radio show called The Charlie Kirk Show, and there was speculation that maybe Damar Hamlin, who had suffered a cardiac-arrest event the previous day in an NFL football game, was maybe ill by having taken the COVID-19 vaccine.  At this time, there is no clear answer to why Damar Hamlin had a heart event, so the information about the COVID-19 vaccine is something to be off to the side for now (but it should be kept in mind).  I note that, in the end, the heart event for Damar Hamlin was handled in a childish way in relation to the football game in which Damar Hamlin became ill (maybe because he had an undiagnosed heart problem).  I saw the hit involving Damar Hamlin, and such a hit I have seen countless times on football games broadcast on television.  Damar Hamlin got quick medical attention!  That was good.  I state that, if the people, especially the men of the NFL, were adult, they would have scheduled to game to continue on on the vening of Tuesday, January 3, 2023, but the people cancelled the game.  There was no proof the hit caused Damar Hamlin's heart event, and, in a way, even it the hit happened to be the cause (a billion in one rare event or more), the game should have gone on.  I later heard, one of the first things that Damar Hamlin said upon waking up from a comma-like state was related to his wondering if his team won the game.  And it so it goes with a man.]

Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned).  I note that the Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph.  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.  In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now.   [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
[Note: Here is an example of Chris Christie's rottenness.  On Sunday, February 6, 2022, Chris Christie was a guest on This Week with George Stephanopoulos (of ABC-TV), which had Martha Raddatz as the host, and Christ Christie pushed out crap.  For example, Chris Christie said--"...And let's face it.  Let's call it what it is.  January 6 was a riot that was incited by Donald Trump...an effort to intimidate Mike Pence and the Congress into doing exactly what he said in his own words last week--overturn the election.  And he's trying to do a cleanup on aisle one here...." and "...He actually told the truth by accident.  He wanted the election to be overturned....".  That is bullshit!]

I guess there are not enough old socialistic and communistic female characters on television shows, based on an article by Julie Hinds in the Detroit Free Press for Sunday, October 30, 2022 [Hinds, Julie.  "25% of all US women are 60 and older, but TV shows many ignore them."  Detroit Free Press, 30 October 2022, p. 4E.].  In response to the title, I say--So what!  The article opened with this material (talking about older women)--"She's the nearly invisible woman on television.  "Who is she?  Someone who's lived long enough to put things in perspective.  Someone who is comfortable with herself, even if she no longer follows the trends.  Someone who can handle both mansplaining and youthsplaining.".  What the hell is "mansplaining"?  It sounds more like "Feminist Movement" crap!  Later in the article, this material appeared--"For the 2021-22 season, 42% of major female characters on broadcast networks were in their 30s, while only 15% were in their 40s.  A slightly smaller, yet similarly steep decline occurred with streaming platforms."  And just how many female characters in their eighties and seventies and sixties can you make stories for, given those types of women are retired.  If there is any complaint at all, which is not covered in the article by Julie Hinds, it is there is little diversity.  Most of the gals are model types (like those with no boobs who are regularly promoted in fashion magazines)--blacks and asians and whites and whatever.  In the article, Julie Hinds pushed out the names of some older female performers, such as the communistic Jane Fonda, a highly rotten woman.  Later, the article had--"Why is there such a lack of representation of older women.  Dr. Martha Lauzen, who founded the study and is a professor of film and TV at San Diego State University, said via email that it's 'due to the low numbers of women in the age category working in key behind-the-scenes roles, the belief that viewers are not interested in seeing these characters as well as the belief that characters 60 and over lead less interesting lives.'".  Much of the previously quoted material is crap.  Often people--even females--get burned out by, for example, doing the series writing grind, and times change and styles of shows change, and people do not have clout to work on newer shows or do not have interest in working in newer shows.  Anyway, an earlier section of this document shows what crap the women of today are producing for television, and there are many women working, for example, in the "above-the-line" jobs, as I can prove by showing that data that I have on thousands and thousands of index cards that I have about television shows, covering some eighty years of commercial television, and this season, the "above-the-line" positions are loaded with women.  And, in essence, the article ended with this nonsense--"Women 60 and older don't see themselves that much on TV in general, much less find and enjoy depictions of characters who are busy, thriving and sexually active.  They may say 60 is the new 40, but it might as well be 80 by the standards of current comedy, drama and reality shows, which too often reduce older women to stereotypes or brief parts as mom and grandmothers.  So how can this picture be changed?  Through the power of the pocketbook, of course.  As the Hollywood Report pointed out in its coverage of a Nielsen report on women 50 and up that covered January 2020 through January 2021, 'usage of internet-connected devices during prime time grew 41% among women 50-64 and 51% among women 65 and older--outpacing the 21% increased usage among all women 18+.  That adds up to significant growth potential for streaming platforms interested in courting older women--and it's a reason for broadcast networks to fight to keep the same demographic from tuning away.".  Actually, as more and more women have come into control of television production and journalism, television and journalism standards have fallen, and this fluff article--an activist's lament--proves it.
[Note: Yes, what prime-time television shows need is more gals of seventy years of age running around beating up crooks--with a punch here and a punch there.]

I report that, based on my years of watching television, I can say that men write better women and men than women can write men, since men write women based on logical analysis of women and women write men based on emotions and hopes of what they think men should be, and that is why prime-time television often has mush-men in stories written by women.

On Friday, December 30, 2022, Barbara Walters died, and right way, people around the country were talking about how great she was and what accomplishments she had and more, and some talked about her legacy.  I have a note about her legacy, and it is not good.  Barbara Walters was instrumental in getting The View on the air for ABC-TV, and what her action did was put rotten and stupid women on television regularly, and, in the end, the show has pushed socialistic stuff.  Barbara Walters' actions led to such rotten people as Rosie O'Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, and Joy Behar being able to teach women idiocy and stupidity and being able pass along propaganda for a little over two decades.  Barbara Walters made people worse in the long run!

Announcement: Recently, I have added some new documents to the collection of my documents at the website for The Hologlobe Press.  One of the documents is entitled A Document that Dispels Myths and Nonsense of Science-Fiction Books, Movies, and Television Shows (A Logic Puzzle), which can be reached through this Myths link.  Another document is And So You Think You're Going to the Moon, Mars, or the Stars..., which can be reached by using this Moon link.  And yet another of the documents is entitled And the Stupid Women Shall Lead--and Lead Every Good Individual into Shit, Driven on by Communism, Feminism, and Defective Female Beliefs and Little-Girl Thinking, which can be reached through this Stupid Women link.  And here are other documents--A Review of What Television Controlled by Socialists and Communists Worked to Sell as Truth in Relation to the U.S. President Donald J. Trump Impeachment (at Impeachment) and T.H.A.T. Special Edition--The First Helicopter-based Traffic Reporters on Radio for the Detroit area of Michigan (at Helicopter Traffic).

On Thursdays at 10:30 p.m., it is commonplace for WJBK-TV (Channel 2.1.) to air a local program called Let It Rip!, which is a round-table-like show hosted by Roop Raj and Charlie Langton (usually), and then there are guests (usually three), and they talk about stuff.  On Thursday, December 29, 2022, the guests were Rochelle Riley (the black socialist, whom I have shown in the past to be a rotten woman), Blaine Fowler (the main host of The Blaine Fowler Show on WDVD-FM), and Brandon Hudson (a fairly new staffer on the news team for the station).  When I tuned into the program, the group began to talk about Detroit, and they pushed out the idea that Detroit was not, in essence, a dead city, which I say that it is.  They talked about how new restaurants are showing up, and there is the Eastern Market, and they noted how the Motown Museum is being expanded, and Rochelle Riley pushed out the idea she is involved with getting murals set up all over the city.  I report that murals are useless and are not a sign of a rise taking place in Detroit or any city, and the expansion of the Motown Museum is no sign that the city is getting better [Note: I report that "The Owen Stanley Fawcett House of 1894" is more important to Detroit entertainment history than the two "Motown" houses are.].  The group passed along fluff, and they showed how shallow they are as thinkers, and, in fact, I say that they showed that they can even be called stupid.  They did not report that most children in Detroit grow up on one-parent households, and that is very bad, especially if a stupid girl is heading the family, which is not good for teaching young men to be good men and not thugs [Note: It takes a strong man who teach a young guy to control his animal nature and become a useful man.].  The group did not talk about how some 60-percent of Detroiters are functionally illiterate.  Oh, when young parents speak like crap to children in their early years--at the times of learning to speaking--the crap of the parents gets picked up by the children (who follow the parents' ways), and so you get generation upon generation of people having bad word usage and bad grammar and more that is bad.  The group of Let It Rip! did not note how "texting" is screwing up the language usage of young Detroiters (and others), since "texting" teaches using crappy sentence structure and bad spelling, and people who text a lot do not get used to reading more complex pieces of text, such as this document, or the people do not develop stamina to take on long documents, such as contracts for new cars and such.  Recently, people in Michigan voted to have, in essence, marijuana out in the public use, and the City of Detroit more recently allowed some 23 marijuana businesses to take hold in Detroit, and that is even though the history of the last 100 years or so shows that marijuana has gained the secondary named called "dope" for a reason--it screws up minds.  In addition, the group did not report how every day, Detroiters are being taught crap by some television channels or programs seen in Detroit; TheGrio is rotten, being a place that teaches black socialism and even black racism, and there are such garbage channels at Lx and Newsy, and there is more crap, such as on talk shows and news programs.  I regularly show up the rottenness of what shows up in the Detroit Free Press, which Rochelle Riley used to write for regularly, and people are being taught crap regularly by articles in the Detroit Free Press.  The group gave no signs that there is a rise in manufacturing by small shops in Detroit, such as machine shops, creating jobs for young men, because it is not happening much; for example, they could have shown how some young men are taking up being "PDR" men ("paintless-dent-repair" men) and are opening up, for example, at least one-man shops.  And most Detroiters vote for the Democratic Party--a communistic and socialist political party--and in the long run, the ways of the communism and socialism kill a society.  In addition, since the state government is mostly headed by communistic and socialistic women (examples of whom are Gretchen Whitmer (as governor) and Dana Nessel (as the attorney general)), actions of the women in the long run will most likely hurt Detroit, especially since it looks as if Gretchen Whitmer will work to set up standards about electric cars in Michigan, as has been done in California.  Detroit is a dead city, and Roop Raj, Charlie Langton, Brandon Hudson, Rochelle Riley, and Blaine Fowler pushed out nonsense, a type of thought that is easy to find on television in this day and age--"The Pseudo Information Age and the Age of Ignorance."
[Note: Let me expand on the idea of "The Pseudo Information Age and the Age of Ignorance."  In the 1960s, a friend of mine had a newspaper route in Inkster, Michigan, and a number of times, I subbed for him, and that meant I had to be up early in the morning to deliver newspapers on a bicycle, and to know what places to put papers, I used cards on a ring thing, and I put the newspapers where they were supposed to be delivered, doing that in the dark of the morning (and maybe in the rain).  I was a boy.  Recently, over the last year or so, the friend of mine has had trouble getting a morning newspaper (The Royal Oak Tribune) delivered properly (which when delivered comes from delivery person--not a boy--in a car and not on a bicycle).  In recent weeks, the newspaper (which is only published a few days of the week) only shows up half the time, and even though the friend has reported (to delivery management) that the newspaper should be placed in a big box on the porch, newspapers end up on the lawn or sidewalk; there is no way in which to contact the delivery person (as there was some years ago) since information about a carrier is not given out.  If the a newspaper does not show up, my friend has to call before 10:00 a.m. to report that no newspaper showed up, and never does a newspaper later show up on the day on which a call is made, but sometimes, the newspaper for the previous day shows up wrapped up with the current newspaper for the next day (if the next-day newspaper is delivered).  It is a sign of the work ethic and more of the Detroit area, especially that of young people.]

In much of the 1900s, NBC-TV had promotional slogans to help sell the idea of viewer's tuning in to the network, especially in the fall when the new series were launched, and, for instance, some of the slogans were "Have the Time of Your Life with NBC" (for 1965), "Come and See NBC '73" (for 1973), and "Come Home to NBC" (for 1987).  Have you noticed the jackass slogan that The CW network is using these days?  The theme is "Dare to Love" and "Defy Hate".  To me, that is crap about selling gayism and lesbianism and even--what is worse and evil--transgenderism as good.  It is political bullshit!  And "transgenderism" is learned behavior that is not natural and not related to DNA; it is taught by evil people to others, especially children, and it is even self-taught, such as by those trying to escape what reality is and what life is.

Okay, let me once again pass along the name of a sexy woman, who does well in showing off the nature of what a woman really is and who is not trying to be a man, and that name is Dare Taylor, who pops up on my initial YouTube page from time to time in a new "Dare Wears" video (none of which on YouTube show nudity).  Dare Taylor is a super flirt, who is making money it seems through the Internet (sometimes in relation to full nudity), but at least she is not faking it as to what she is and can do.  Dare Taylor is just a pleasant young woman doing what women do and acting like a woman, and she does do well in showing off fashions and how to show off fashions.  Dare Taylor is a pleasant diversion from all the angry socialistic and fake women on prime-time television today.

Now, do I "dare" to present this section, which is in color sort of?  I am presenting now the Looking at the Movies section for this month.  The movie has almost no women in it.  In fact, of the main stars listed at the open of the movie, there is only one woman listed--Anthea Leigh.  I guess the movie for this month is biased against woman or something like that.  Some of the main performers are Dirk Bogarde, Denholm Elliot, Akim Tamiroff, Gerald Oury, and Eric Pohlman.  It is a British film.  It was on Wednesday, June 13, 1956, when CKLW-TV, Channel 9, showed the movie to Detroit-area television viewers under the Million Dollar Movie umbrella title.  By the way, the movie was not written by a woman.  The credited writer is Robert Westerby.  Do I "dare" give the title so that you might go on YouTube and see the movie for free.  Okay, I guess I have the guts.  Some day soon, give up on the crappy women and such of prime-time television and even streaming television, and look for They Who Dare (a color movie of 1953 (copyright date)) on YouTube.

By the way, Jason Carr is no longer an on-air personality at WDIV-TV, Channel 4.1, and based on rough information, I get the feeling things behind the scenes at Channel 4.1 are rotten.

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!

Vic

P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link.  I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man."  For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President.  I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.  Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
