On December 9, 2020, a video entitled "It's a HORRIBLE time in history to be Honest and Ethical. People love the LIE" was posted on YouTube. The video features testimony from Dr. Pierre Kory, who is, for example, related to an entity called the "Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance" and to the St. Luke's Aurora Medical Center. In the video, Dr. Pierre Kory talks about an anti-viral called "ivermectin", which has been around for some time, and talks about using it to defeat COVID-19. The talk was given at a hearing (entitled "Early Outpatient Treatment: An Essential Part of the EN SVVID-19 Solution") at the U.S. Senate (related to the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs) on December 8, 2020. [Note: In the spring of 2020, especially around April 2020, the Democrats and people in parts of the federal government (such as the FDA), were putting down using hydroxychloroquine, saying it was dangerous, but some doctors did use it, such as on a state representative of Michigan and her husband, who thanked U.S. President Donald J. Trump for making hydroxychloroquine more known. Keep in mind--then--in the spring, hydroxychloroquine was a decades-old drug and was not dangerous (when used properly). By the way, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (a Democrat and a socialist and a feminist (a.k.a. for all of them "enslavist")) was putting down and not promoting the drug while pushing the idea that blacks were dying of COVID-19 because the medical community was racist against blacks, and some Democrats around the country were pushing the idea that U.S. President Donald J. Trump was promoting the drug because he had stock in the company making the drug. "Ivermectin" is a known drug, and medical people know how to use it and handle it. Hold it! On December 14, 2020, the first person in the United States of America, who was in Florida, received a vaccine shot for COVID-19; companies that had developed the drug delayed telling the world that their work was done till right after the election of November 3, 2020. In December 2020, once it looked as if Donald J. Trump was no longer going to be the U.S. president, the people of the American Medical Association were saying that hydroxychloroquine could be used.]
On June 2, 2021, an entity called Breitbart published an article entitled "ANTHONY FAUCI IGNORED EMAIL FROM PHYSICIST CLAIMING HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE COULD HELP BATTLE CORONVIRUS" (which was written by Jacob Bliss). The article noted that, in March 2020, a man named Erik Nielsen (a physicist) sent information to Dr. Anthony Fauci that suggested ciclesonide (or Alvesco) and hydroxychloroquine seemed to be effective in battling COVID-19. The article passed along the idea that Dr. Anthony Fauci ignored the information from Erik Nielsen, and the article presented the idea that Dr. Anthony Fauci considered the email from Erik Nielsen to be too long to take time to see.

Welcome to another edition of Television History and Trivia, another document that was not made directly for you but was made first for me--I write for me first because I want to know what is right, and I can guess most people will not see this document or have the stamina to read it. Of course, the theme of this document is television, and it might talk about how television of the past, such as of the 1950s and 1960s, seems to be giving the television of today a run for the money, since so much of television programs today are bad, such as by pushing rotten ideas about man and life, and that is especially true for the news shows, which have really gone down in usefulness since the rise of women in the news rooms, especially when in control. The good about television and the bad about television can show up in editions of Television History and Trivia documents (or T.H.A.T. documents), and this document has both, and, of course, such a document will have history information, which can sometimes be really unique as the first paragraph of this edition shows.
In June 1947, WWJ-TV, Channel 4, became the first commercial television station in Detroit, and the station evolved out of experimental station WWDT (which first had a broadcast in October 1946). Today, WWJ-TV, Channel 4, is considered WDIV-TV, Channel 4, and the station is not much of a station, compared with what WWJ-TV was doing in the 1940s and 1950s, such as in relation to the variety of local programs offered viewers [Note: The station is not owned by the original owner, which was The Detroit News, which had the station for about thirty years.]. Recently, I began doing tracking work about Detroit television history in old editions of The Detroit Jewish News and The Detroit Jewish Chronicle, which are newspapers, and I came across an interesting history note in the edition of The Jewish News for Friday, November 30, 1951, and it was on page twenty. The note was an obituary--"MRS. BERTHA PRELL BERGER, 89, 207 W. Grand Blvd., died Nov. 29. Funeral services were held Nov. 21. She was a member of Temple Beth El. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey, and a daughter, Mrs. Hilda VanConsant. She was born in a family home at Lafayette and Third [in Detroit], now the location of WWJ-TV.". So, around 1862 (the time of the Civil War in the United States of America), little Bertha was living in a family home that would years later become the location of a television station--the first in Detroit and in Michigan. The station started out using space inside the building for The Detroit News (having only one studio), which was at Lafayette and Third, and then in November 1947, more space was given to the television station inside the building, and in November 1952, the station was set up in a new building near the building for The Detroit News [and that is where I end the location story]. Oh, it was on December 15, 1949, when a Hanahuk show was presented on television in Detroit for the first time, and it was on WWJ-TV, and the program was related to the Culture Commission of the Jewish Community Council of the Detroit area, and over the next decade at least, the Jewish Community Council would put together a bunch of television programs, such as Yom Kippur-themed programs and Rosh Hashanah-themed programs, for Detroit-area viewers (which included viewers in Windsor, Ontario, Canada), and many were broadcast by WWJ-TV (and many were broadcast by WJBK-TV, and only a few were broadcast by WXYZ-TV). What does WDIV-TV really do that is useful today?
Announcement: Here is big news about the rottenness that the federal government under Joseph Biden and his associates in the federal government who are communists and socialist is. Around the date that this document was published on the Internet--July 10, 2021--people were learning about or were thinking about what they had recently learned about a scandal in which the federal government--particularly the National Security Administration (or the NSA)--had secretly read private emails of a newsman at the Fox News Channel, Tucker Carlson. On July 10, 2021, for example, people were learning there were already news reports going back at least a week about the story, such as from Tucker Carlson Tonight (of the Fox News Channel). On July 9, 2021, Tucker Carlson reported on his show, for example, that the NSA did intercept his emails and did pass along information in the emails to at least one reporter. It is illegal for the NSA to pass along such private information to reporters in the private sector or to anyone in the private sector. [Carlson, Tucker. [Note: A good person must keep in mind how the FBI took corrupt actions in the process to push the false issue that Donald Trump was working for the Russians, and how the FBI presented false information to the FISA Court to get the ability to spy on Donald Trump-related people, and that is not all that I could put here."On Friday, July 9, 2021, Joseph Biden as the U.S. president reported in a press conference that he had, in essence, signed a new (and big) "executive order" to was designed to beat down big business in the country, and some of the nonsense that he spoke was--"...The heart of American capitalism is a simple idea--open and fair competition...." and "...Forty years ago, we chose the wrong path in my view...." and "...Capitalism without competition isn't capitalism.... and "...For too many American that means accepting a bad deal for things they can't go without...." All that Joseph Biden said in the press conference was while Joseph Biden was installing policies in association with other Democrats in the government that were killing jobs (such as the pipeline jobs) and that were leading to inflation (such as big spending), et cetera, and what he was doing was installing socialism into the country in an even greater degree (government control of everything). And in the speech for the day, Joseph Biden said that he was a "proud capitalist" (though everything that he had done in his life while in government has been tied to socialism and communism, as history shows), and his family is corrupt, as the Hunter Biden laptop scandal shows (something that is being hushed up by the main media in the country). On Friday, July 9, 2021, Joseph Biden pushed more rottenness on to the good people of the United States of America--and that is the way of a society killer or simply a killer (an enslavist). Hold it! That idea of Joseph Biden's about the "wrong path"--that idea referred to the start of the U.S. President Ronald Reagan time, which ended up being a business boom time for everyone, as would be the U.S. President Donald Trump time. See the evilness and the sick mind of the perpetual liar known as Joseph Biden?
Oh, "capitalism" is not government-controlled economics.
On June 23, 2021, I made a long-distance drive in Michigan, and while I was traveling in the evening, I was listening to The Mark Levin Show (a nationally distributed weekday radio series), and one of the big topics of the day for the host (Mark R. Levin) was an event that had been held by the Loudoun County School Board (of Loudoun County, Virginia) the previous evening, and a main theme for the event in Loudoun County had been talk about "transgender pronouns." The event, which was peaceful throughout, had been designed to allow some several hundred citizens to speak (for one minute each) before the board, and what was said angered the board, based on audio clips that I heard on the radio show, and the board cut the event off, and police officers (as a rule) did rotten work at the event, such as in arresting a man for trespassing. The citizens who got to speak (only some of the several hundred who had been signed up to speak) showed up rottenness in the Loudoun County school system. In the evening, I found that video clips of the event exist, and there are videos of like events. I urge you to see such videos to see a hint of what rottenness is going on within school systems in the country. And that is the result of the nature of communism and socialism and progressivism and liberalism in the United States of America--corrupt government.
I see almost no prime-time broadcast television in this day and age, and it is because the shows or series are bad as a rule, and here are two examples. On June 7, 2021, The Bachelorette showed up again on ABC-TV, and the gal who is the featured bachelorette is a fluff known as Katie Thurston, and she has a bunch of dudes to pick through. As usual, the guys come from only a few states, and, as usual, most come from Texas, Florida, California, and New York. One guy is a manager for an auto-parts store, and that is a worthwhile occupation, and that is about the only guy with a regular job. Each of the series focusing on a bachelorette never seems to have guys who are mechanics, machinists, dry-wall men, truckers, and such, and 2021 series with Katie Thurston has several guys who are involved in real estate and several who are involved in software stuff, and there are two related to sports, and one showed up in a cat suit (a guy from California, which figures), and one guy was in a gift box and delayed popping out to see the gal. It is all--Ugh. That show runs weekly on Mondays. The following Monday--June 14, 2021--ABC-TV pushed out the first episode of The Celebrity Dating Game (which airs after The Bachelorette does). Are you going to tell me "celebrities" need to go on TV to get a date? Of course, most celebrities, like most news people, you would never want to date it seems to me (based on what both groups stand for politically as a rule)--socialism and communism. On the first episode of The Celebrity Dating Game, the celebrities were Hannah Brown (who has a model's face, which is pleasant, and who is boob deficient) and Nicole Byer (who seemed pleasant and who is an over-weight black gal). Hannah Brown ended up having to pick from three crummy guys, one of whom is an actor (who came off as a jackass right at his introduction) and one of whom is involved with software (so, in essence, she had the same types of guys as Katie Thurston has as a rule), and Nicole Byer In the first episode, Zooey Deschanel (who is boob deficient) was the main host, and she wore dress in the first half that looked clownish, and that is too bad, since I like to see gals in dresses (especially summer cotton dresses) regularly. Oh, Hannah Brown chose a former baseball player who is now involved in the investment business, and Nicole Byer picked someone, but I missed who it was, not carrying to know. [Note: Of course, the second episode of The Celebrity Dating Game, which was on the following week, made sure to cover gay stuff, which is more of what I care nothing about, so why watch.]
Hold it! I have to bring up another subject related to The Bachelorette and tax credits provided to production firms, which I have talked about in the past as being bad. I report that production budgets for television shows are bloated, or at least the "above-the-line" costs (which include directors and producers and writers) are way bloated. Consider a comparison of two seasons of The Bachelorette. For the 2003 edition of The Bachelorette, the show had Mike Fleiss (an executive producer), Scott Jeffress (as a co-executive producer), Lisa Levenson (as a co-executive producer), and Clay Newbill (as a co-executive producer) on the production team. Now look at the current edition of The Bachelorette. The series has seven persons (Mike Fleiss, Martin Hilton, Nicole Woods, Bennett Graebner, Peter Gust, Tim Warner, and Louis Caric) listed as "executive producers," and the series has eleven persons (Jeff Thomas, David Albrecht, Brock Carlson, Jodi Baskerville, Jayna Pellegrino, Andrew Frank, Todd Snyder, Debra Light, Chris Jones, Sara Jane Fuchs, and Caitlin Stapleton) listed as "co-executive producers." That is bloat! No tax-credits are deserved!
Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
Hey, I noticed something recently that I had to talk about, and I have been putting it off because of various reasons. Recently, I noticed that the entity called "IMDb" (which offers television history information to people on the Internet) had information about or a page about Saturday Night Dead. The page noted that the show ran from 1980 to 1981, and it was a program presented by WDIV-TV, Channel 4. That is wrong. Yes, the show was seen on Channel 4, and, in fact, it was seen on Sunday mornings after airings of Saturday Night Live (of the NBC-TV network), usually starting at 1:00 a.m.. It was really on Sunday, September 23, 1979, at 1:00 a.m., when the program began to be shown weekly on the television station, and the program showed a movie called Dracula Has Risen From the Grave (which had been made in 1969 and which had Christopher Lee as the main performer). Saturday Night Dead was a movie show, and the last episode was shown on June 7, 1981. The program had a host of sorts, and it was Ted Anthony, who was a booth announcer for the station at the time, and, at the moment, I think Ted Anthony was only a host through voice-over work, and it seems he was not doing a bunch of segments as Svengoolie (played by Rich Koz) does on each program on MeTV called Svengoolie (of Saturday evenings). By the way, dozens and dozens of persons have hosted movie shows in Detroit television history, and some only did a few shows that were specials, such as those done by Tom Ryan (while he was playing Count Scary and who had been known for be a partner to Dick Purtan on radio for years) and those done by Tom Shannon (as "happening" events).

An interesting bit of syndicated programming show up on the three commercial stations of Detroit, Michigan, around September 1954. The program was called The Big Moment, and it was shown at 8:30 p.m. on Channel 7 (WXYZ-TV) on Wednesday, September 29, 1954, at 11:15 p.m. on Channel 2 (WJBK-TV) on Thursday, September 30, 1954, and 7:00 p.m. on Channel 4 (WWJ-TV) on Saturday, October 2, 1954. The half-hour-or-so-long filmed program--which was made in relation to Paramount Pictures in Hollywood--was related to the United Jewish Appeal, and the story was about Jews in roughly the six years of the existence of Israel, and the program was about the donations that have helped Jews and Israel. The program featured American actors and actresses to tell the story of three persons, and some of the performers were Robert Young (the host), Donna Reed, John Derek, Thomas Mitchell, Forrest Tucker, and Edward Franz. Today, the program is available through YouTube in this day and age when, essentially, supporters of socialism and Sharia (the ways of Islamic people--bad Islamic people) are in control of Israel, having taken control from, for one, the recent prime minister (Benjamin Netanyahu), and, of course, that is because many of the Israeli people are highly stupid, as are most of the people in the United States of America today.
Since I published the previous edition of Television History and Trivia, I spent three days making a new document for the website tied to The Hologlobe Press. The document has some television-history information, but the document is really a radio-history document. The document gives history of WKMH-AM and WKNR-AM (which is the same radio station with two names), and the story covers the time from December 1946 to April 1972. The radio station was based in Dearborn, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit, and was famous for a number of reasons. The title of the document is WKMH-AM and WKNR-AM (first as 1540 and then as 1310 on the AM dial): Another Detroit-area Radio History Story, and it can be reached through this WKMH-AM and WKNR-AM link. And all this takes me on to Looking at the Movies, which will be a special case this time (given, for example, it does not focus on a movie broadcast by a Detroit-area television station in the late 1940s and early 1950s as a rule). Only one disc jockey from WKNR-AM (a name used from 1962 to 1972) hosted a movie show on a Detroit-area television station, and that person was Dick Purtan, and that was not done as a regular host, and the work was done a bunch of years after he had left WKNR-AM (in August 1965). In April 1971, for example, Dick Purtan did guest-hosting duty on the television show called Bill Kennedy Showtime on WKBD-TV, Channel 50 [Note: Normally, the television show was seen starting at 1:00 p.m. on a Sunday-through-Friday basis). On Monday, April 19, 1971, starting at 1:00 p.m., Dick Purtan hosted a movie called The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (which featured Rex Harrison and Gene Tierney and had been made in 1947), and that was the first movie of five weekday showings for which Dick Purtan got to be a movie host. Four of the movies of the week of Monday, April 19, 1971, are available on YouTube today, and they are The Ghost & Mrs. Muir, Possessed (which features Joan Crawford), A Bell for Adano (which features John Hodiak and Gene Tierney), and The Big Lift (which features Montgomery Clift). That Midnight Kiss, which was shown on Thursday, April 22, 1971, is not available on YouTube, but clips from the movie are. Today, Looking at the Movies is presenting A Bell for Adano (a 1945 movie), which was shown on WKBD-TV on April 21, 1971, and it is not shown because it was the second movie with Gene Tierney hosted by Dick Purtan. John Hodiak was born in Pennsylvania, but, in essence, he grew up in the Detroit area, particularly in Hamtramck, when, by the way, it was a city filled with Ukrainians. So Dick Purtan hosted John Hodiak (a local Detroit-area celebrity, especially in Hamtramck) in a movie.
Oh, the Summer Olympics are scheduled for television this summer. I plan to watch none of the crap, which features a lot of shit-ass athletes, some of whom are on the U.S. team. For example, I do not want to see shit-ass Gwen Berry (of the U.S.) throw the hammer. Gwen Berry is just another piss-ass black athlete joining the many black male pieces of shit in professional football and professional baseball and profession basketball in the United States of America who support communism and socialism. I hope Gwen Berry loses! Hell with the U.S. team and its political bullshit! Anyway, athletes are nothing special, except for muscles, and they have no real useful value in daily life in this day and age. And, anyway, Gwen Berry looks male, and she looks like yet another angry black bitch! I shall root for a cute Japanese gal who does not support communism and socialism, and maybe she will look like one that I made and displayed in Michigan Travel Tips #206, which can be reached through this Travel #206 link.
On July 9, 2021, I was only able to catch the last ten minutes or so of a new series called Secret Celebrity Renovation, a weekly series for CBS-TV. The host was Nischelle Turner. Wayne Brady was the celebrity, and Wayne Brady's Aunt Lilly was the person whose house was given a makeover. In the end, the house--every room--looked like it came out of a catalog, and each room looked like something that was not comfortable, being over done. What was lost was that lived-in feeling and that we-can-live-in-it comfortably. Oh, well. There is no reason to tune into any more episodes.
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often and usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
