Special Important Announcement

On December 9, 2020, a video entitled "It's a HORRIBLE time in history to be Honest and Ethical.  People love the LIE" was posted on YouTube.  The video features testimony from Dr. Pierre Kory, who is, for example, related to an entity called the "Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance" and to the St. Luke's Aurora Medical Center.  In the video, Dr. Pierre Kory talks about an anti-viral called "ivermectin", which has been around for some time, and talks about using it to defeat COVID-19.  The talk was given at a hearing (entitled "Early Outpatient Treatment: An Essential Part of the EN SVVID-19 Solution") at the U.S. Senate (related to the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs) on December 8, 2020.  See the video!
[Note: In the spring of 2020, especially around April 2020, the Democrats and people in parts of the federal government (such as the FDA), were putting down using hydroxychloroquine, saying it was dangerous, but some doctors did use it, such as on a state representative of Michigan and her husband, who thanked U.S. President Donald J. Trump for making hydroxychloroquine more known.  Keep in mind--then--in the spring, hydroxychloroquine was a decades-old drug and was not dangerous (when used properly).  By the way, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (a Democrat and a socialist and a feminist (a.k.a. for all of them "enslavist")) was putting down and not promoting the drug while pushing the idea that blacks were dying of COVID-19 because the medical community was racist against blacks, and some Democrats around the country were pushing the idea that U.S. President Donald J. Trump was promoting the drug because he had stock in the company making the drug.  "Ivermectin" is a known drug, and medical people know how to use it and handle it.  Hold it!  On December 14, 2020, the first person in the United States of America, who was in Florida, received a vaccine shot for COVID-19; companies that had developed the drug delayed telling the world that their work was done till right after the election of November 3, 2020.  In December 2020, once it looked as if Donald J. Trump was no longer going to be the U.S. president, the people of the American Medical Association were saying that hydroxychloroquine could be used.]
On June 2, 2021, an entity called Breitbart published an article entitled "ANTHONY FAUCI IGNORED EMAIL FROM PHYSICIST CLAIMING HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE COULD HELP BATTLE CORONVIRUS" (which was written by Jacob Bliss).  The article noted that, in March 2020, a man named Erik Nielsen (a physicist) sent information to Dr. Anthony Fauci that suggested ciclesonide (or Alvesco) and hydroxychloroquine seemed to be effective in battling COVID-19.  The article passed along the idea that Dr. Anthony Fauci ignored the information from Erik Nielsen, and the article presented the idea that Dr. Anthony Fauci considered the email from Erik Nielsen to be too long to take time to see.

- - - T.H.A.T., Edition No. 206 - - -

I open this edition of Television History and Trivia with a little note of sorts.  On Wednesday, December 22, 1971, a local television special called Christmas with the Spurrlows was shown by Channel 4, WWJ-TV (later called WDIV-TV), and on August 30, 1975, Channel 4, WWJ-TV, aired Floatin' along with the Spurrlows, and both shows were musical shows, and the specials were tied to the "Spurr" family, such as Theron Spurr and Thurlow Spurr.  The days of local musical specials on commercial television in Detroit, especially with Christmas themes, are long gone.  On May 25, 2021, I received an email from Thurlow and Kathey Spurr (of Miss Kathey's Academy), and the email noted that they had a special presentation--called "America, You're Beautiful"--on the Internet, specifically on YouTube under "2021 05 24 Viewpark" (which was posted on May 25, 2021).  The presentation is a musical presentation that lasts three minutes and forty-four seconds, and it is a pleasant presentation.  And that is that, and now the remainder of Television History and Trivia #206.

In this day and age, a television channel that I watch regularly when I am in the Detroit area is Channel 3.6 (broadcast), which I called "Television Drive-In" (which is the third version of the channel, really).  The channel airs movies from the 1920s to the 1970s--but mostly from the 1930s to the 1950s.  I am disappointed in the rotation of the movies; the first version of the channel had a better rotation.  In essence, the channel is like what Channel 62, WGPR-TV, did between about 1977 and 1984, and at times between about 12:15 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on many mornings, such as from Tuesday morning through Saturday morning.  In that period from 1977 to 1984, Channel 62 aired mostly movies from the 1930s to the 1950s--black-and-white movies mostly.  Hold it!  I have to change the theme for a moment.  I got inspired to write this section because I recently tracked down movies aired by Channel 9, CKLW-TV, of the Windsor area of Canada (which is across the Detroit River from Detroit, Michigan, the United States of America) from September 1964 to December 1965 on some evenings under the umbrella title Adults Only.  Generally speaking, one movie was shown at 11:30 p.m. from September 1964 to February 1965 on Friday, and then the format for the series changed so that two movies were aired in a week, often the same movie twice a week, having airings at 11:30 p.m., and the days were usually Friday and Sunday.  The umbrella title seemed to be off-putting to some people, such as Mrs. R. Barura (of Wayne, Michigan) around January 1965 [Peterson, Bettelou.  "A teacher speaks out on daytime serials."  Detroit Free Press, 30 January 1965, p. 4.], and she wrote in to the Detroit Free Press to say she would not watch such movies--adult-type movies--on television.  I report that there were no "adult-type movies," such as with nudity, aired under Adults Only, but, under the umbrella title, some movies that had been made in England or France were shown.  Mostly, the movies that were aired--covering movies of the U.S., France, and England--came from the 1950s.  Later, in the 1967-1968 television season, WKBD-TV, Channel 50, aired movies under The Adult Movie.  None of the movies aired under The Adult Movie could be called an "adult-type movie" (which would have, for example, nudity).  Channel 62, WGPR-TV, which was a black-owned television station did air some movies with nudity.  I report that, between February 1977 and about 1984, the airing of movies very early in the morning on some days, such as from 12:15 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., was considered a time for airing movies all night long, and people usually saw Movies All Night or All Night Movies presented in television listings of newspapers.  I am a little vague on the correct title of the movie series at the moment.  I do know that Channel 62 used a slide (with graphics) denoting that the series was All Night at the Movies around 1979.  The all-night-movie show of Channel 62 had a lot movies that would fit "Television Drive-In" today, and, in fact, some movies aired on the all-night-movie show on Channel 62 have aired on "Television Drive-In."  Some movies that were aired by Channel 62 could not be aired on Television Drive-In without being edited first today.  I have an aside here.  Generally speaking, I have no information so far about the movies that were aired on the all-night-movie series for Channel 62 in roughly much of 1977 and in 1978 because movies of the series are not shown in television listings of such old newspapers as The Windsor Star and the Detroit Free Press (I have yet to see old editions of TV Guide and The Detroit News).  I can report, though, that between 1980 and 1984, Channel 62, did air movies with nudity, and the movies had been made in Europe, such as in France, and most had been made in the 1970s.  This group of movies that I am talking about were syndicated by a man named Joseph Green.  At least, 21 movies tied to Joseph Green's syndication work were aired by Channel 62, and some of the movies were The Sicilian Connection, Delusions of Grandeur, By the Blood of Others, Dragon Lady, Icy Breasts, Fantasies of a Sensuous Woman, Sadist Erotica, and My Husband, His Mistress and I.  I do not know what movies of the package had the nudity, but I can attest that some did, having seen them back in the early 1980s.  To you, I say--Good luck trying to find the movies of the movie package from Joseph Green today, such as through YouTube.  Look at the types of movies that Channel 62 aired years ago that could be seen today and could fit on Television Drive-In--Spook Town, Spy Catcher, Rustler's Ranch, Plunder Road, Jungle Book, Farewell to Arms, Front Page, Black Dragon, Jubilee Trail, It's a Wonderful Life, My Man Godfrey, His Girl Friday, We Dive at Dawn, Crime Inc., Santa Fe Trail, Life with Father, Secret Agent, The Lady Vanishes, Topper Returns, Song of Freedom, Little Lord Fauntleroy, and Terror by Night.  Channel 62 even had for viewers some movies from the 1920s, such as The Scarlet Letter (1926) and The Lodger (1926).  Television Drive-In has shown some silent movies from the early 1900s.  In a way, if you watch Television Drive-In today, you are seeing what, for example, All Night at the Movies had in the late 1970s and early 1980s, but, of course, All Night at the Movies did have some movies with nudity in the 1980s, and, today, Television Drive-In airs some duds from roughly the 1960s or 1970s, and based on that, I can say that All Night at the Movies could be rated as being slightly better than Television Drive-In is, and if Television Drive-In got rid of some of the more modern color films that are duds, it would be an improvement.  But, in general, I can say that All Night at the Movies was fun television and nice television and Television Drive-In is fun television and nice television.

On March 21, 2021, some people got exposed to crappy television, which had a collection of Asians pushing the idea that there is a lot of racism and violence going on all over the country against Asians, especially Chinese.  On March 21, 2021, some dozen or so channels aired See US Unite For Change, and the special show (with a title that sounds like it came from people of a socialistic movement) was loaded with supporters of socialism and communism or the Democratic Party who are in the entertainment industry, such as Sting (a white guy and not an Asian), Daniel Dae Kim, and Jeannie Mai, and the host was Ken Jeong, who has been getting a lot of television time recently.  COVID-19 came from China, and it really does look as if it came from a lab in China, having been purposely made, and good and smart people have labeled the virus the "China Virus," and the name was and is deserved, since the virus came from a communistic country, where people get killed and imprisoned for opposing the ways of communism.  In 2020, people who did not like the term "China Virus" being used, such as some of the people of the television special, pushed the idea that calling the virus the "China Virus" is and was racist work.  To push the idea of racist--that, I say is bullshit!  The name was deserved since it came from bad people in China, who happened to be Chinese and were and are communists.  So the people of the television special wanted viewers to put down hate against some vague notion--that which is the idea that there has been a big rise in hate against Asians recently--but I say that a person does not put hatred away in relation to communism and socialism and communists and socialists.  No--the people of the special would not do a special putting down communism and socialism (which is soft communism), but they did this special of fluff, which it seemed was designed to soften people's dislike for bad Asians, who do exist.
[Note: I have recently reported, such as in Michigan Travel Tips #198, which can be reached through this Travel #198 link, that I completed my making a model of Forty Mile Point Lighthouse (of the Rogers City area of Michigan).  I have something new to report in relation to the lighthouse.  I have completed making five nude gals (using white "Milliput", brass wire, and paint) to go along with my model of the lighthouse (sometimes), and four of the gals are Asian gals--cuties.  Okay, I am no great artist, but the five gals, who are only about one-inch-and-a-half in length (at most) and were made over a period of a year and a half, are rather pleasing and shapely and lovely.  The five gals were my first attempt to make little nudes, and while I worked, I was hoping I would end up with at least one of the five that would be worthwhile and I could show (especially through a story with photographs).  I got surprised.  It is hard to do faces on such tiny, tiny gals, and you might complain about what I have done [I have seen worse on eBay and such.].  Let me see you do better, and one of my gals, who is based on a photograph of a woman that I found on the Internet, is more sexy than Jeannie Mai is, and I like the look of Jeannie Mai (but Jeannie Mai has a screwed-up mind).  If you are Asian and you support rotten people, like communists, then you do not get love.  Incidentally, I seem to have an unexpected skill--that of making tiny models of nude women, especially Asian cuties.  I should have started years ago in developing the skill.  [Note: You are urged to see Michigan Travel Tips #206, which can be reached through this Travel #206 link, since it has a simple photograph of the girls.]]

Hold it!  Here is information that shows Jeannie Mai and others listed in the section related to the television special about uniting are rotten.  On Sunday, May 23, 2021, Mark R. Levin had a man named Nicholas Wade (formerly a writer doing stuff about COVID-19 at The New York Times) on the television show entitled Life, Liberty and Levin (a weekly series) of the Fox News Channel.  The one-hour-long show showed more to hint that the COVID-19 virus came from a lab in China and not from bats related to a marketplace in China, and it looks as if people in China were purposely working to make a virus that would kill people who are against the communists of China, such as people in the United States of America, and more was said to hint that the virus escaped the lab (probably because of crappy work by the Chinese scientists).  There is a reason COVID-19 was and is called the "Chinese Virus."  [Note: I urge you to track down the episode of Life, Liberty and Levin and see it.  Mark R. Levin noted that Nicholas Wade has an article, which runs about 32 pages and was published on May 5, 2021, on the Internet--"The Origin of COVID: Did people or nature open Pandora's box at Wuhan?" (which is tied to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists).].
["Dilanian, Ken. "U.S. intel report identified 3 Wuhan lab researchers who fell ill in November 2019."  nbcnews.com, 24 May 2021, 12:31 p.m. EDT.; Gordon, Michael R., and Warren P. Strobel and Drew Hinshaw.  "Intelligence on Sick Staff at Wuhan Lab Fuels Debate of COVID-19 Origin."  The Wall Street Journal, 23 May 2012, 2:57 p.m. ET.; Shim, Elizabeth.  "China denies three Wuhan lab researchers fell ill in November 2019."  upi.com, 24 May 2021, 11:18 a.m..]

The other day, I ran across something that I did not know.  Between October 9, 1963, and August 26, 1964, it seems (as best as I can tell right now), a program call At Issue was being seen by at least some people who were watchers a national-educational-television-type stations, such as WTVS-TV, Channel 56, and, for example, they might see the series on Wednesdays in the early evening (such as at 6:30 p.m.).  The 30-minute series was hosted by Douglass Cater.  Douglass Cater was--supposedly--educated in journalism at Harvard University (the communistic-type university), and Douglass Cater worked in the U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson administration in the 1960s.  Oh, incidentally, Lyndon B. Johnson was a hard-line socialist, and Lyndon B. Johnson was corrupt, as history shows.  Even in the early 1960s, socialists were getting air time on public-television-type stations, and, after At Issue ended, Douglass Cater was involved in creating the Public Broadcast Service, which is clearly a socialistic entity (at least) toady, as it has been for many years.  By the way, a couple obituary articles for Douglass Cater that I saw recently had no information about At Issue.

Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned).  I note that Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph.  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.  In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now.   [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]

Now, I shall take a half-time break to present another Looking at the Movies segment.  This time, the television station focused on is CKLW-TV, Channel 9, of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, which is across the Detroit River from Detroit, Michigan, the United States of America.  Between 1954 and 1957, the station aired some movies for Americans and Canadians in the viewing area under the umbrella title called Good Neighbor Theatre.  I know not what the umbrella title was used, but, at the time, the operators of the television station probably considered Canada a good neighbor to Michigan, especially since the focus of the station was not to only air programming aimed at Canadians, and, for example, the station even aired a Detroit beauty pageant.  Since the late 1970s, Channel 9 has focused only on Canada.  Good Neighbor Theatre aired a variety of movies, many of which in the first few years had been made the United States of America.  Over the last two years or so, the umbrella was home to a lot of movies that had been made in England or Great Britain.  On May 23, 1956, Channel 9--under Good Neighbor Theatre--aired a movie that had been made in Australia, and that movie was called The Fighting Rats of Tobruk, and it was aired at 11:00 p.m..  By the way, it would be difficult to explain the scheduling for Good Neighbor Theatre, since, for example, it did not have a simple weekly schedule, such as on Sunday at 11:00 p.m..  When people saw Good Neighbor Theatre, it was on at such times at 11:00 p.m., 11:05 p.m., 11:15 p.m., 11:20 p.m., and 11:35 p.m., and the most common days for the umbrella title were Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but a few movies were shown other days, such as Sunday.  Although The Fighting Rats of Tobruk is considered an Australian movie, the plot of the movie takes place in northern Africa, and the setting is during World War II (of the 1940s), which had been started by socialists (who are like communists and progressives and liberals and Democratic Socialists), whose nature is to do corruption and violence and killing as a way of life.  Incidentally, the rule of life is socialists and the like start wars, since that is their nature, and that is socialism--government oppression for the sake of a few (the rulers).  The Fighting Rats of Tobruk is considered a "war movie," and while I typed up this section, Israel was in a new mini-war against Sharists and Islamic terrorists (as I heard in news reports on the radio, specifically on WTCM-AM.  Sharia (or hard-line Islam) is shit, and it is a war culture (a political system masquerading as a religion)!  I found the movie called The Fighting Rats of Tobruk on YouTube.  Take a look as a presentation of Looking at the Movies.
[Note: While I was typing up this section of the document, I had WTCM-AM 580 radio tuned in.  At about 4:53 p.m.--and it was May 11, 2021--I got exposed to a commercial for "lovehasnolabels.com".  It was more socialism on the radio, and it was a thing that was working to get people to accept people who promote socialism as good and to come together.  A good and honorable person does not come together with socialists and the like, since there is no common ground between non-socialists and socialists--socialists would stab non-socialists in the face with a knife to get what they want, which is "freedom" and the freedom to do harm to others and get what they want.  The PSA (or public service announcement) from lovehasnolabels.com was working to make non-socialists (especially young people) timid and less likely to fight back against crappy people and evil people.  The commercial from lovehasnolabels.com was yet another of the commonplace PSAs (often related to the Ad Council) on radio in this day and age that are aimed at showing socialism as a good thing.]

Announcement: Recently, I have added some new documents to the collection of my documents at the website for The Hologlobe Press.  One of the documents is entitled A Document that Dispels Myths and Nonsense of Science-Fiction Books, Movies, and Television Shows (A Logic Puzzle), which can be reached through this Myths link.  Another document is And So You Think You're Going to the Moon, Mars, or the Stars..., which can be reached by using this Moon link.  And yet another of the documents is entitled And the Stupid Women Shall Lead--and Lead Every Good Individual into Shit, Driven on by Communism, Feminism, and Defective Female Beliefs and Little-Girl Thinking, which can be reached through this Stupid Women link.  And here are other documents--A Review of What Television Controlled by Socialists and Communists Worked to Sell as Truth in Relation to the U.S. President Donald J. Trump Impeachment (at Impeachment) and T.H.A.T. Special Edition--The First Helicopter-based Traffic Reporters on Radio for the Detroit area of Michigan (at Helicopter Traffic).

It is commonplace to find idiots doing television news, and one reason for that is, since the 1970s especially, news anchors and reporters (especially in the big television markets) have been chosen for how they look (like models) and not for what they might know or can deduce or understand.  Did your favorite television newscaster pass along crap to you around April 27, 2021, as did the Detroit Free Press in an article called New Study: Climate change has shifted the Earth's axis (of April 27, 2021) and the Cheboygan Daily Tribune in an article (the same words as those in the Detroit Free Press) called "Warming blamed for polar shift" (of April 27, 2021).  The article is talked about in my document informally called Countdown to the End of the World (which can be reached through this Countdown link), but I will note a few things here, which could show your favorite television newscaster is crap of the first degree.  For one, the article pushed forth the idea that man's taking groundwater from the planet "has contributed to the shift in Earth's axis...." (which is a theme of a "study" of some type that is talked about in the article).  That theme about groundwater is idiocy!  You can never prove it or prove it has been a cause!  But I note that water is taken out of the ground, and rain puts water back in the ground all over the planet, which has happened continually since billions of years past.  The moon does a big job is shifting water on the planet every day, as it has done for centuries, and that is the reason for rising tides and falling tides of incredible amounts of water.  Plus, why did not the article talk about taking oil out of the ground and shifting rock to make things?  The article noted that there has been a "recent shift" in the axis, and so you cannot tell me that the continual process of taking water out of the ground for decades (which gets replaced by rain water) caused the "recent shift" in the axis.  If your television newscaster pushed out the theme of the news story in the two newspapers, then you have a crappy newscaster--a rotten person.

A non-rotten person can be found on YouTube in a video called "Mom Goes Nuclear On School Board Over Critical Race Theory"; that is, you can see it if it has not been pulled by the management of YouTube already.  The video was posted on June 7, 2021, and it is tied to "Daily Caller Shorts" (running five minutes and thirty-two seconds).  I report that the video got posted on YouTube a day or so after I had heard a longer version (an audio version) of the "mom's" attack against bad people of a school board in Carmel, New York, on The Mark Levin Show (a nationally syndicated radio show).

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!

Vic

P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link.  I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man."  For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President.  I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.  Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often and usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
