Special Important Announcement

On December 9, 2020, a video entitled "It's a HORRIBLE time in history to be Honest and Ethical.  People love the LIE" was posted on YouTube.  The video features testimony from Dr. Pierre Kory, who is, for example, related to an entity called the "Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance" and to the St. Luke's Aurora Medical Center.  In the video, Dr. Pierre Kory talks about an anti-viral called "ivermectin", which has been around for some time, and talks about using it to defeat COVID-19.  The talk was given at a hearing (entitled "Early Outpatient Treatment: An Essential Part of the EN SVVID-19 Solution") at the U.S. Senate (related to the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs) on December 8, 2020.  See the video!
[Note: In the spring of 2020, especially around April 2020, the Democrats and people in parts of the federal government (such as the FDA), were putting down using hydroxychloroquine, saying it was dangerous, but some doctors did use it, such as on a state representative of Michigan and her husband, who thanked U.S. President Donald J. Trump for making hydroxychloroquine more known.  Keep in mind--then--in the spring, hydroxychloroquine was a decades-old drug and was not dangerous (when used properly).  By the way, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (a Democrat and a socialist and a feminist (a.k.a. for all of them "enslavist")) was putting down and not promoting the drug while pushing the idea that blacks were dying of COVID-19 because the medical community was racist against blacks, and some Democrats around the country were pushing the idea that U.S. President Donald J. Trump was promoting the drug because he had stock in the company making the drug.  "Ivermectin" is a known drug, and medical people know how to use it and handle it.  Hold it!  On December 14, 2020, the first person in the United States of America, who was in Florida, received a vaccine shot for COVID-19; companies that had developed the drug delayed telling the world that their work was done till right after the election of November 3, 2020.  In December 2020, once it looked as if Donald J. Trump was no longer going to be the U.S. president, the people of the American Medical Association were saying that hydroxychloroquine could be used.]

In the fall of 1964, the modern made-for-television movie began to show up on broadcast network television (or national television), starting out on NBC-TV.  The TV-movie (or made-for-television movie or made-for-TV movie) got more and more exposure in the 1960s, and in the 1970s and 1980s, especially on ABC-TV, CBS-TV, and NBC-TV, there were many such movies aired, and some took the form of "mini-series" (which I define as movies with at least two parts, each of which runs at least 90 minutes).  In the 1980s, USA network (or like name) ran a lot of made-for-TV movies (or what might be called made-for-cable movies), and in recent years, Lifetime and Hallmark and the Hallmark Movie Channel have been big users of TV-movies, and made-for-TV movies have disappeared from the over-the-air broadcast networks.  In the early years of TV-movies, politics was not the reason such movies were made, but over time, pushing political crap became commonplace.  On October 28, 2017, Lifetime aired a movie called Flint, which was about the Flint (Michigan) water crisis, and it was a movie that never made it clear that the people of Flint shit in their own nest--I say that the people of Flint shit on themselves by voting in rotten people (such as corrupt black Democrats) into local government jobs, and the people that were voted into government jobs did shit work, which led to the Flint water crisis.  Now, I see another movie could be on the horizon, and maybe it could be a made-for-TV movie for Lifetime or Hallmark or even TheGrio (the first made-for-TV movie for the crappy network).  I base my idea on an article by Paul Egan that I caught in the Detroit Free Press for April 28, 2021 (on pages 1A and 6A)--"Radiation new peril in Flint lead crisis litigation?".  Till the movie is made, which might not ever happen, here is another addition of Television History and Trivia.

In the previous edition of Television History and Trivia, I showed some of the black racists in the media who were working to coerce General Motors into giving them money--or be given the label of a racist entity.  One those rotten people is Byron Allen, just another black thug.  Soon after publishing the previous edition of T.H.A.T., I discovered that Sean "Diddy" Combs is yet another one of the black racists, working to coerce money under threat of being called racist.  On Thursday, April 8, 2021, Sean Combs publicly put forth a coercion scheme through a letter entitled "WE DEMAND MORE: A LETTER FROM SEAN COMBS".  Some of the letter was--"...When confronted by the leaders of several Black-owned media companies, General Motors listed by network, REVOLT,  as an example of the Black-owned media it supports...." and "...While REVOLT does receive advertising revenue from GM, our relationship is not an example of success.  Instead, REVOLT, just like other Black-owned media companies, fights for crumbs while GM makes billions of dollars every year from Blacks the community....".  I state that those are the words of a piss-ass kid.  General Motors is not required to pay REVOLT (which sounds like another thug organization) anything!  Advertising is based on where, for example, the viewers or readers are.  If REVOLT has little draw, then REVOLT can expect to get crumbs, and that idea has worked with whites and others for decades and decades, or if the message and theme of REVOLT is crappy, then it deserves nothing.  There is that old rule--If your network airs crap, which REVOLT probably does, such as black inner-city gang themed crap movies, then you get crumbs or crap.  Understand that Diddy Combs is just another black gangster who pushes racial shit!  [LaReau, Jamie L.  "'Diddy' Combs to GM: If you love us, pay us."  Detroit Free Press, 9 April 2021, pp. 10A and 13A.]
On April 11, 2021, having no knowledge of REVOLT, I went to the website for the entity.  The main page of that website had images of some black guys, and they looked like black thugs [Note: They are not the type of guys that I would urge a good gal--black, white, green, red, whatever--to date.  By the way, so many of the black rappers end up dead from drugs or shootings.].  At the top of the main webpage were these categories--"Social Justice", "Interviews", "REVOLT Black News", "Music", "On TV", "Features", and "Watch".  I went to "On TV" and was given a list of shows, such as The Breakfast Club, which I was aware was a black racist and black communistic show (which has been around for a while).  On the top of the list of shows was Drink Champs, and the highlight text for the show was--"Hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN are joined by A-list guest stars for a boozy, raucous, and totally unfiltered show where nothing is off limits... after a few shots.".  That sound like crap to me!  That is gutter stuff!  Hell, I would not advertise on that crap.
REVOLT got launched in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago on October 21, 2021, as a cable entity, and it is nothing more than gutter shit!
Oh, on May 2, 2021, the Detroit Free Press did a big story about Byron Allen [LaReau, Jamie L.   "Man behind GM fight on race: 'He's kicking in doors'."  Detroit Free Press, 2 May 2021, pp. 1A and 10A and 11A.].  One piece of the story was--"...As a man, Allen believes he now knows part of the reason MLK [Martin Luther King] was killed: King sought economic inclusion for Black people in America....".  The theme from Byron Allen is crap, and now Byron Allen is working to say that GM is racist because it does not spend more advertising money at black media entities.  Byron Allen is involved with the network called TheGrio.  I report that, almost every time I happen to tune into TheGrio (Channel 3.1 in Detroit), I get exposed to shows (movies) focusing on gutter inner-city black crap, such as shoot-outs and drug stuff and nothing nice.  Why the hell would anyone want to advertise on that crappy channel?

Greta Thunberg is a little girl, though she is now about 18 years of age, and for a bunch of years, she has sort of been a spokesperson for the communistic/socialistic environmental movement, and she goes around the world speaking to groups and such (like an little girl evangelist), working to sell the idea that the planet is dying because of carbon.  Greta Thunberg, one of the idiot people from Sweden (a socialistic country), has created nothing and has not experienced much about life, such as how things are made and how objects (plants and animals and more) of the world interact.  Greta Thunberg has not gained wisdom about the world.  Plus, I say that, generally speaking, men are more logical than women are and women are more emotionally based in thinking than men are, and she is a little girl.  On April 22, 2021, PBS (the broadcast entity that promotes, for example, socialism as good by using taxpayer money) aired a three-part program called Greta Thunberg: A Year to Change the World.  Hold it!  Right there, a person might think that the title hints that there is only one year to save the world from man.  The title is a jackass title.  The program was really about selling Greta Thunberg as a savior of sorts--a savior of the world.  Basically, the series of programs showed Greta Thunberg traveling the world so see how climate seemed to be changing or things were changing because of man-caused climate change [Note: Greta Thunberg took a year off school to travel, which shows she lost a year of learning about things in school.].  Greta Thunberg said early in the program that people listen to her.  I ask--Why do people listen to a little girl and why have people listened to her, though she has barely taken in any knowledge about life?   It is amazing that people listen to her. Greta Thunberg: A Year tp Change the World was nothing more than a propaganda piece for television, given it did not prove man was killing the planet and was only about showing so-called changes in the planet, which is always changing [Note: I could talk about changes with the lakes of the Great Lakes, which have risen and fallen, risen and fallen, et cetera over at least the last ten decades, and man did not cause the changes.].
[Note: On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, I saw a story entitled "New study: Climate change has shifted the Earth's axis" in the Detroit Free Press [Rice, Doyle.  "New study: Climate change has shifted the Earth's axis."  Detroit Free Press, 27 April 2021, p. 2A.].  There is no way that scientists can prove that man is causing climate change on Earth (to the point of killing the planet) and can prove professed climate change has caused the axis to shift.  It is bullshit!]
[Note: For a short while (from 1986 to 1997), Detroit-television viewers saw Ann Thompson doing news stories for Channel 4, WDIV-TV.  Ann  Thompson has been with NBC News (a communistic news entity) for quite a while.  On April 17, 2021, at about 9:20 a.m., Ann Thompson did a short segment about climate change (or "the tide of climate change" as she said at one point) on the Today show.  And, for example,  Ann Thompson pushed out crap that manmade climate change is killing off lobsters in, for example, Long Island Sound.  To see something about Long Island Sound--some sound thinking--see my document entitled Michigan Travel Tips #205, which can be reached through this Travel #205 link.]
[Note: Here is something from April 9, 2021.  I did a "google" search using "noaa forecast".  I saw on the first page of results something called "People also ask" and then some questions, one of which was "Is NOAA weather accurate?".  The answer under the question was--"The Short Answer.  A seven-day forecast can accurately predict the weather about 80 percent of the time and a five-day can accurately predict the weather approximately 90 percent of the time.  However, a 10-day or longer forecast is only right about half the time.".  Hey, little Greta, even Google had to report that weather predicting was crap if the time was way out in the future.]

Hey!  Will Smith (a black guy) became a big personality in the entertainment world on television, through a television series called The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (of from 1990 to 1996), and Will Smith is still involved in the entertainment industry, though he is a rotten black guy.  Recently, Will Smith pulled production a film currently called Emancipation from Georgia, which shows Will Smith supports rotten rules for voting; he pulled making the film in Georgia, since Georgia enacted laws to fight back against corrupt election practices.  By the way, the Will Smith is not the "William Smith" (a white guy) of, for example, the acting business of the 1960s and more--a guy who was a regular on the fun western-themed series called Laredo (which ran from 1965 to 1967 and is still broadcast today).  [Note: Other rotten people who have put down Georgia and the election laws have been James Quincey (the CEO of Coca-Cola), Ed Bastian (of Delta Airlines), and Ron Manfred (of the MLB), the last of whom decided to pull the all-star game for 2021 out of Atlanta, Georgia.]

Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned).  I note that Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph.  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.  In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now.   [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]

I am the best Detroit television historian in the world!  As what was often said on a television series called The Guns of Will Sonnett (a late-1960s one-hour-long western series)--"No brag, just fact.".  The series featured Walter Brennan (Wally Brennan) was the main character.  I know almost nothing about the television history of television stations in California, such as those in the Los Angeles area, but this edition of Television History and Trivia does take you to California for some television history.  I was doing research about Detroit television history recently, and, specifically, I was tracking down what was aired on a television series on Channel 9 (CKLW-TV) in the summer of 1956, and it was a local movie series, which had a host and showed western movies of, for instance, the 1930s.  The Detroit television show was called Western Trails, and I found that a man called Bob Silen was the host (it seems), and the show aired weekly on Sundays at either noon or 11:30 a.m. from June 3, 1956, through October 7, 1956.  Most of the movies that were shown were movies featuring a cowboy actor called Tim McCoy, but the movie show did air several movies that did not feature Tim McCoy, and some of those were Heroes of the Range (featuring Ken Maynard), Stagecoach Days (featuring Jack Luden), and Ranger Courage (featuring Robert Allen).  While looking for a movie to feature on Looking at the Movies for this edition of Television History and Trivia through YouTube, and stumbled across a couple old videos (films) featuring Tim McCoy, such as "The Tim McCoy Show 50s TV Western episode 1 of 4" (which ran about fifteen minutes).  In it, Tim McCoy told, in essence, some western history or a western story.  Information provided by the YouTube page hinted that, for instance, the video that I list was from a show on KTLA-TV in 1952.  I have a problem with that.  The video--film--was actually called Tim McCoy (though a person could infer the thing was like The Tim McCoy Show, though that would be wrong).  I did research on the Internet and found a webpage about Tim McCoy by Boyd Magers related to a website called westernclippings.com.  Based on that page, I say that the fifteen-minute film was originally on KNXT-TV in California around 1952.  Shows featuring Tim McCoy--which were local shows--ran on KTLA-TV for 30 minutes (weekly).  The shows on KNXT-TV and KTLA-TV were not shown in Detroit, such as through the syndication process, but at least the shows on KNXT-TV could have been syndicated since they were on film.  While watching a couple of the Tim McCoy episodes, I saw an American Indian character.  The man was played by Iron Eyes Cody, who performed in movies and network television shows years ago, such as in the 1950s and 1960s.  Boyd Magers's material hinted that Iron Eyes Cody was at least a semi-regular on Tim McCoy's other local television series, such as the one on KTLA-TV.  Also while getting this edition of Looking at the Movies ready, I found on Wikipedia that Tim McCoy was married twice, and the second wife was talked about as having been around Adolph Hitler years ago, and I have nothing to say about that, but I note that I have seen the information.  Boyd Magers noted that Tim McCoy did time on three television stations in California with local television shows between about 1950 and 1953.  Let me get back to the Detroit area.  On June 17, 1956, Channel 9 aired a movie with Tim McCoy, and the television listing in the Detroit Free Press had the movie listed as Six-Gun Pass.  Tim McCoy's heyday in films--western films--was from 1925 to 1942 (when he went into the military).  I can find no evidence of a Six-Gun Pass title.  Tim McCoy did have a Six-Gun Trail (a 1938 film).  So, the movie featured in this edition of Looking at the Movies is Six-Gun Trail.  The movie is a "Victory Pictures" production.  Tim McCoy plays a "detective" called Captain William Carson, and some of the other performers are Nora Lane (as Midge), Ben Corbett (as Magpie), Alden Chase (as Wilson), Ted Adams (as Spokesman), and Don Gallagher (as Mac).  The movie starts out with shooting during a theft of a package, and one of the bad guys is caught (with a bullet in him).  The story ends with....  Hold it!  That is all that I will pass along about the plot.  I do say that jewels play a big part of the plot.  For fun, tune into Six-Gun Pass--maybe at sundown.  Hold it again.  I have found no information about Bob Silen yet.

Announcement: Recently, I have added some new documents to the collection of my documents at the website for The Hologlobe Press.  One of the documents is entitled A Document that Dispels Myths and Nonsense of Science-Fiction Books, Movies, and Television Shows (A Logic Puzzle), which can be reached through this Myths link.  Another document is And So You Think You're Going to the Moon, Mars, or the Stars..., which can be reached by using this Moon link.  And yet another of the documents is entitled And the Stupid Women Shall Lead--and Lead Every Good Individual into Shit, Driven on by Communism, Feminism, and Defective Female Beliefs and Little-Girl Thinking, which can be reached through this Stupid Women link.  And here are other documents--A Review of What Television Controlled by Socialists and Communists Worked to Sell as Truth in Relation to the U.S. President Donald J. Trump Impeachment (at Impeachment) and T.H.A.T. Special Edition--The First Helicopter-based Traffic Reporters on Radio for the Detroit area of Michigan (at Helicopter Traffic).

Here is something for fun--in an odd way--related to Detroit media.  A few months ago, Dick Haefner left WJR-AM, leaving the position as the news director.  The Detroit Free Press did a story about Dick Haefner, who had been with the station for a number of decades.  Dick Haefner is a white guy, and the Detroit Free Press is a communistic newspaper.  A few months later, Frank Beckmann retired from WJR-AM, where he had been for decades, being involved with a talk show called The Frank Beckmann Show and with sports.  Frank Beckmann is anti-communistic, and even though Frank Beckmann was a big name radio man in the Detroit area (and he had done television in the Detroit area, too), the Detroit Free Press did no story about Frank Beckmann's leaving WJR-AM.  Vicki Thomas is a black gal.  On April 17, 2021, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Vicki Thomas [Hinds, Julie.  "One of Detroit's radio stars is leaving the airwaves."  Detroit Free Press, 17 April 2021, p. 3A.], and on April 29, 2021, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Vicki Thomas [Hinds, Julie.  "Veteran news reporter prepares to leave WWJ-AM after 30 years."  Detroit Free Press, 29 April 2021, p. 3D.], and on April 30, 2021, the Detroit Free Press did a story on Vicki Thomas [Witsil, Frank, and Julie Hinds.  "WWJ's Thomas to serve as spokeswoman for Duggan."  Detroit Free Press, 30 April 2021, p. 3A.].  Frank Beckmann and Dick Haefner had more time on WJR-AM than Vicki Thomas had at WWJ-AM.  I report that "Duggan" is Mike Duggan (a Democrat), who is the mayor of Detroit.  By the way, the third story about Vicki Thomas had this material--"...When her retirement from broadcasting was announced, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow and WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) anchor Dave LewAllen, were among those singing her praises....".  I report that, at least, Dana Nessel (a lesbian) is a hard-line socialist and that Debbie Stabenow is a hard-line socialist, and that makes both of them rotten people, and, of course, a Democrat is a member of the Democratic Party, which is a communistic and socialistic entity.

So, have you seen crap on your favorite news site or during a television newscast recently?  Specifically, did your favorite news-reporting entity a few days before May 7, 2021, say that a lot--near a million jobs--were likely added in the United States of America in April 2021, even though, for example, many people were getting paid (by state budgets or the federal budget) to stay at their homes and not work and even though Joseph Biden as the U.S. president had killed a whole bunch of jobs on January 20, 2021, by killing the Keystone XL pipeline.  Communists and socialists will say anything to prop up support of communism and socialism.  For example, CNBC, a socialistic-based news entity (at least), reported in a story on April 29, 2021 (Domm, Patti.  "Job growth could surpass 1 million in April hiring boom as economy roars back." CNBC.com, 29 April 2021, 4:00 p.m. EDT.] that big news was coming out in a few days from the federal government, and the news is that around one-million jobs were added in April 2021.  Then, on May 7, 2021, people all over the country were learning that only about 266,000 jobs were added in April 2021, and that information was from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.  Welcome to "The Pseudo Information Age and the Age of Ignorance."

I end with something fun.  On Sunday, May 2, 2021, I happened to tune into Channel 3.6 (of the Detroit area), "Television Drive-In", and the channel was in the middle of airing an old western movie called From Texas to Bataan, which I have talked about in the past, such as in my document entitled Here, I Tie a Bunch of Dummies Together.  The 1942 movie was shown on WJBK-TV, Channel 2, in Detroit, on January 9, 1952, and it caused a panic, like that of the 1938 national radio broadcast of War of the Worlds.  Some people in Detroit caught the ending of the movie only on Channel 2 on that 1952 day--not having seen the entire movie--and thought another attack on the United States of America was taking place; there was a scene showing a radio while a voice-over man reported on an attack.  People called police and Channel 2 and newspapers, thinking the worst.  In the end, the movie was pulled from syndication by the syndicator, and it did not air in Detroit again till the 1980s.  [Note: For more information, see Here, I Tie a Bunch of Dummies Together, which can be reached by using this Dummies link.]

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!

Vic

P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link.  I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man."  For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President.  I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.  Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often and usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
