- - - Travel Thoughts for Everyone - - -

It is possible to use your two hands to give an impression of what Michigan is, and what I mean is  you can, for example, look at your own right palm and see an impression of what the Lower Peninsula of Michigan is shaped like--a hand.  If you were to look at your own right palm and have it transform into a window (a pane of glass) that shows Michigan, you might be able to see the places that I talk about in editions of Michigan Travel Tips, such as those mentioned in this edition, and if you were to look in closely at places--blow them up or zoom in--you might be able to see people and even the faces of people at the places that I talk about or do not talk about.  Here, I have to report that you will not see places in Detroit promoted through Michigan Travel Tips till future notice, since I have determined that Detroit is a dead city headed by people with ugly minds, such as black radicals and communists and thugs and crooks and black racists (as I show in my document entitled Detroit and Death: A Future View of the United States of America, which can be reached by using this Detroit link), and while on the subject of Detroit, I have to mention that a recent poll from an entity known as Rasmussen noted that 91 percent of the blacks in the country say that they plan to vote "yes" for Barack Obama in the upcoming November 2012 presidential election ("Daily Presidential Tracking Poll."  Rasmussen Reports, 31 July 2012), and that means, if Barack Obama, who is a detective man who supports communism and hangs around with communists, gets reelected, you will be able to see on the faces on many blacks in the country, especially in Detroit, the "face of communism" for decades to come, and the face of communism will be highly prominent if Barack Obama works even more like a dictator and further hurts the country for everyone, and that will be the great legacy of Barack Obama--hatred for people who call themselves "blacks" by those who do not consider themselves "blacks."*  Yes, an insane man, like Barack Obama, can do great damage to the world and, particularly, in relation to this document, Michigan!  So, keep looking at your right palm, because, in a moment, you will read about places just above--actually, to the north in relation to Michigan--of your index figure, which are actually located in the far eastern end of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, which can sort of be represented by putting your left palm (with the thumb pointed up) horozonally before your eyes.

[*Officially, the results of Barack Obama's actions while the U.S. President will create more hatred between the races, especially so-called "whites" toward "blacks," who will get blamed for supporting the insane man named Barack Obama who imposed his defective ways of life on millions and millions of persons and hurt the United States of America and the world, and the results of Barack Obama's action while the U.S. President will create more hatred in good "blacks" (those who are individuals who support The United States Constitution, who support black families with two good parents, who do work, and who do not live to take handouts (truly undeserved "welfare") from the federal government) toward "blacks" who take up the ways of slugs and thugs and takers and gutter people and so forth.]

Advertisement: The commercial in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips urges you to get a copy of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which is a book written by Mark R. Levin.  This book will help you understand better what Barack Obama is--a man who is purposely hurting the country, even though he is the president of the country--but the book is really about enslavers--politicians--who do not believe in the values of The U.S. Constitution and how The U.S. Constitution is designed to limit the power of the government, especially a dictatorship, over the individual (the citizen).  Remember: In the United States of America, it is the individuals who own the government and not the government that owns the citizens, the latter of which is what Barack Obama wants and is pushing for.

Within the last month, I have done even more research to track down old photographs of The Mackinaw WAGB-83, which is a museum at Mackinaw City (at the Straits of Mackinac of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan) and which, after being a volunteer at the museum for four years, I am no longer affiliated with (even though I am well informed about the former icebreaker of the Great Lakes and for four years was stationed on the bridge as a volunteer guide, where I could talk about the history of the ship and equipment on the bridge and everywhere else on the ship, the management did not have a need for my services on the bridge--saying no one would be a guide on the bridge this year to answer questions and saying two persons would be stationed on the fantail, where there is, in essence, almost nothing to see and touch for visitors and almost nothing to point to and talk about for a tour guide), and I continue to search for photogrsphs so that I can really show that I am more informed about the ship than is Mike Fornes, who wrote the book entitled USCGC Mackinaw (WAGB-83): An Illustrated History of a Great Lakes Queen (which, in relation to photographs and dates shown, is a highly defective book about the ship, and I show evidence in my document entitled Michigan Travel Tips #91, which can be reached by using this Travel #91 link).  One day recently, I came across photographs on a Web page associated with "Great Lakes Aerial Photos," and two photographs caught my eye--they are photographs of superstructures of former Great Lakes frieghters that are now cottages.  One photograph showed a superstructure of The Benson Ford, which is now a cottage at South Bass Island, Ohio, which I will not talk about more here since it is not in Michigan.  The other cottage is the superstructure of the former freighter known as The Lewis G. Harriman, which was on the Great Lakes from the early 1920s to the 1980s.  The cottage was set up by Marc and Jill Vander Meulen on their property at De Tour Village along the St. Mary's River, and a person who travels along the St. Mary's River today can see it (it was brought to the location in 2005), and when a person sees it, the person can see the bow section of the ship, in which there are forward cabins and on top of which is the pilot house.  It surely is something different to see for a person traveling by boat.  In addition, when a person travels by boat between De Tour Village and Drummond Island, the person might come across the 15-foot statue set up on the property of Bonnie and Larry Schlink, who had the statue, which is made of cottonwood, built in 2007 by Edwin Lafayette (who used a chainsaw to carve the statue).  The statue is a lightkeeper who holds up a lamp in his right hand, and it is called "Passage Keeper" [Eppley, Jonathan.  "DeTour Passage Keeper Statue Has Become Community Landmark."  The St. Ignace News, 3 December 2009).]  De Tour Village is the place at the eastern end of the main land mass of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but it is not the true end--east of De Tour Village is a little bit of water and then the true eastern end of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, which is Drummond Island, which, for most people, has to be reached by boat and attracks tourists, such as fishermen and those who wish to rent cabins or cottages or lodges.

Promotional announcement: The Landmark Legal Foundation is made up of lawyers, such as Mark R. Levin (of The Mark Levin Show, a nationally syndicated radio show), who fight in court cases against those who do not uphold The U.S. Constitution and the rule of law for the country, and the Landmark Legal Foundation fights for the rights of the individual and against Marxists, communists, and the like.  In this day and age when Barack Obama, who, I am convinced, has a truly highly ill mind, is going against the rules of the country while pursuing a goal--I believe--to hurt the country and remake it or destroy it, I believe the Landmark Legal Foundation needs your help desperately; for example, retired lawyers who want to protect the country should consider donating time to helping the Landmark Legal Foundation.  I urge you to avoid making any donations to entities that promote manmade global warming or climate change and make a donation to the Landmark Legal Foundation instead (by the way, you should look into supporting the Heritage Foundation).

Although I do not promote places to see in Detroit, I have to talk about Detroit and Barack Obama here, since I have to pass along information that you should pass along to people that you travel with when you are in Michigan or wherever.  On August 2, 2012, Sentinel HC released a book entitled Spreading the Wealth: How Obama is Robbing the Suburbs to Pay for the Cities, which was written by Stanley Kurtz, and soon after, I heard Stanley Kurtz talking about the book in radio interviews and found an article on National Review Online tied to Stanley Kurtz, (Kurtz, Stanley.  "Burn Down the Suburbs?"  National Review Online, 1 August 2012, 4:00 a.m.), and what I got from the Stanley Kurtz exposure is Barack Obama helped found an entity called Gamaliel Foundation in the mid-1980s, and people associated with it blame "white flight" for the decline of cities and wish to punish the suburbs of big cities (at least) and destroy the suburbs by, for one, trying to tie suburbs of big cities, such as the dead city known as Detroit, through tax related matters, which would suck tax money out of the suburbs and get it into the hands of the corrupt people in big failed cities, such as Detroit, where the money can be used defectively, and what it does is draws suburbs into the destructive ways of the bad cities and deconstruction of the bad big cities.  In essence, suburbs of the Detroit have just gotten sucked into supporting a part of Detroit; a new tax on the suburbs in Oakland County and Macomb County was passed during the election of August 7, 2012, that would help keep the Detroit Institute of Arts operating.  For decades since at least the early 1900s, Detroit was able to support and run museums and such well (the big Aquarium is gone, and the Detroit Science Center has been closed for months, et cetera).  If the people of the city do not want to keep something or take care of something or do not with to support something like a museum, which was supported adequatedly for decades, it is not up to people of other cities to take up the slack to help keep up the image of the city, and what should happen is the something should be closed down, or the something should be moved to another city, or the things of the something should be sold to people who will take care of the things.  If the Detroit Institute of Arts were to close, the materials within it would not be destroyed--they would end up somewhere else, and that is the way of life sometimes.  Yes, the new tax--which was highly promoted in the media by the Graham Beal, who heads the Detroit Institute of Aarts--fits the scheme of Barack Obama and his defective associates (Mike Kruglik, David Rusk, Myron Orfield, and the others), who are working to steal money from the suburbs to support defective cities or prop up defective cities, such as those run by Democrats (or, really, communists and such).  While you travel in Michigan, listen for those who are pushing for regional tax-related systems and such, and understand they could be pushing an idea--one supported by Barack Obama--to suck money out of suburbs to support defective cities and defective politicians.

I make it clear here--It was Mayor Coleman A. Young, the mayor of Detroit in the 1970s and 1980s and a "black," who promoted the idea of having, in essence, a war between "blacks" and "whites" in Detroit, which led to "whites" and some "blacks" leaving Detroit, which, recently, I have heard some "blacks" promote as "their" city, which is one reason they are trying to get rid of a state law that can put a financial manager in charge of a city, and it is a law that I think should be gotten rid of so that Detroit can die officially through its own design--go into bankrupcy, which will expose more of the crap that is Detroit and more of how the culture of Detroit is crap.

Skip Detroit!  Go to De Tour Village or Drummond Island!

And enjoy your safe traveling in Michigan!

    Stay well!

    Victor

P.S. #1: Remember: While you travel in Michigan, remind your children or grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any politician or sing the praises of Barack Obama, and to help you remember other matters that you should teach children about bad politicians, such as Barack Obama (who can be described as an "enslaver"), see such other documents of mine as Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means (which can be reached through this link: Conservatism) and Lessons for Children about Politics and Dangerous People (which can be reached through this link: Children).  (Note: I first passed along the subject of not being a "servant to Obama" and the like in the publication entitled T.H.A.T. #58, which can be reached through this link: T.H.A.T. #58.)
