Yippie! The new television season is underway. Maybe I should not say--"Yippie!" I have already noticed a problem with some new programs. Viewers are being given more women who look like girls or are shaped like girls, which is a topic that I have dealt with in the past, such as through T.H.A.T. #66, which can be reached by using this link: T.H.A.T. #66. For example, the shapeless want-to-be models are back in another "cycle" of America's Next Top Model, which is a weekly series shown by The CW network. The CW network now has Nikita, which was given a debut on September 9. The "star" of the Nikita is Maggie Q, who is another model-type performer, who has, in essence, no "boobs," so I guess the producers of he show are trying to attract as viewers little boys or, lesbian girls. I long for the days of Joi Lansing, Barbara Eden, Barbi Benton, Lynda Carter.... Oh, well, let us see what "boob-tube" stuff this edition of T.H.A.T. has.
During the 1966-1967 season, NBC-TV had a series on its prime-time known as T.H.E. Cat. The series was about a man named Thomas Hewitt Edward Cat or T.H.E. Cat., who was played by Robert Loggia I used to watch the show, and, recently, I watched an episode through YouTube, in which Cat had to protect a priest (who was played by Jason Evers). Some of the performers in the episode were R. G. Armstrong (as Captain McAllister), Robert Carricart (as Pepe, who runs a club called Casa del Gato), Norma Bengell (as Maria, a singer), Roy Jenson, Sorrel Booke, and Jack Perkins. This episode of the program was produced and directed by Boris Sagal, and some of the shots (camera angles) reminded me of camera angles used on a previous series that Boris Sagal had worked on--Peter Gunn (1958-1961). For fun, you should think about watching the episode of T.H.E. Cat that I talk about, if you get tired of Nikita, and an episode of Peter Gunn (featuring Craig Stevens), especially an episode that shows the sign for the club known as "Mother's." (By the way, the Retro Television Network is carrying Peter Gunn, but you might find an episode on the Internet.)
This new television season is bringing forth to viewers a new version of Hawaii Five-0. All the performers who have lead parts look like models and look nothing like police officers, and none look like the actors who played in the original Hawaii Five-0, who looked like police officers and not models, and there were many, only two of whom were Kam Fong, (who, certainly, was no model type) and Zulu (who was a big hulky guy). By the way, some people might say that Zulu was a big guy with an "ugly mug" (or ugly face), and I would be one, and I would say that because I am more interested is looking at gals, such as what I would describe as pretty gals, one of whom was seen in the opening credits of the old Hawaii Five-0, a woman who I have talked about in the past. Well, in the cast of the new Hawaii Five-0, there is another one of those gals (actresses) with, basically, no boobs, which is a topic that I have talked about in the past, such as in T.H.A.T #66 (which can be reached by using this T.H.A.T. #66 link). The gal is Kelly Hu, who is no newcomer to television-series work. Here, I have to pass along a note to guys, especially young guys, who might watch the new Hawaii Five-0 to see Kelly Hu. Kelly Hu supports Barack Obama, who is at least a communist and who hates the United States of America as it was founded. Also, Kelly Hu is a lesbian. So you can give up on hoping to date her and you can give up on dreaming about her--if you are a real guy. Really, Kelly Hu is, in essence, a communist/lesbian, given what she shows as her values. I will skip Kelly Hu and watch the old Hawaii Five-0 and see, for example, Kono (as played by Zulu) take on the crud and bad guys.
Warning with commentary (which will exist in every edition of T.H.A.T. through November 2010) -- Since T.H.A.T. #71 was published, the federal government--mostly Democrats in the U.S. Congress and Barack Obama--created a health-care system for the country. To make the laws for the health-care system, the U.S. Congress--the Democrats, such as the head of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, and the head of the U.S. Senate violated The U.S. Constitution; for example, bills are supposed to originate in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the main health-care bill (the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010) did not, having officially originated in the U.S. Senate, and the U.S. Congress, under the direction of the Democrats, used the process known as "reconciliation" to pass the health-care bill. In addition, the new law has things that go against The U.S. Constitution or are underhanded; for example, the law requires all citizens to purchase a product--in this case, health-care insurance--which has never been allowed or done before since The U.S. Constitution does not allow such a rule to exist, and in the process to complete the new health-care bill, the bill had an attached bill that had nothing to do with health care, and that other bill when it was made law put the federal government in complete charge of the student-loan system of the country (the federal government had nationalized the student-loan system). At the moment, a national election is scheduled for November 2010. If people exist in the U.S. Congress who are willing to violate The U.S. Constitution, what are the odds that those people would work to block an election in some way, such as by passing a voting law attached to some big law not associated with voting that would block the election from ever taking place?
Here I have a piece of commentary and a lesson, especially for children. Let us go to page 59 of TV Guide for August 16-29, 2010, and look at an article entitled "The Big Easy's Hard Times Roll On," which focused on a piece of crap of a man--Spike Lee. For years, Spike Lee has been defective and presented crap thought in movies. In the article in TV Guide, Spike Lee showed more of his nonsense thought. For example, it tried to to link the Hurricane Katrina disaster with the oil-rig disaster in the Gulf of Mexico (which had started in April 2010 and had, in essence, ended in July 2010), and the article had him saying, "Greed, greed, greed, greed. It's gonna be the downfall of this country." His statement is complete lunacy. For instance, accidents happen in life, and, yet, it was really Barack Obama who blocked the way for people to help keep oil from reaching beaches along the Gulf of Mexico (and you can see that evidence in my document entitled The Oil-Rig Disaster of April 20, 2010: Evidence that Shows Barack Obama Purposely Wanted to Hurt the Beaches, which can be reached by using this link: Oil Rig). Barack Obama is a highly dangerous man, being a communist and being quite insane, and Spike Lee supports Barack Obama. Spike Lee, Spike Lee's productions, and his family should be boycotted and avoided forever, and that is the lesson.
Advertisement: In March 2009, a book called Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which had been written by Mark R. Levin, was published. Through the book, Mark R. Levin talks about how tyranny has been creeping into the country, and he also talks about how the country has been changing from a representative republic, which has a constitution as a basis, to something, yet to be defined, and although Mark R. Levin says that it is the statist who is causing the change, especially those who are a part of the Democratic Party and in government jobs, I say that it is communists, socialists, would-be dictators, and Marxists, such as Barack Obama, who are making the changes, such as by discarding The U.S. Constitution. I urge you to see and read Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, and pass it on to others, especially teenagers and young adults (and consider listening to The Mark Levin Show, the nationally syndicated radio show, on a regular basis).
I am going to send you on a mission. Look for video/audio clips of themes for such old-time television shows, as The Avengers, The Saint, The Persuaders, Barnaby Jones, Cannon, Green Acres, Baretta, Mannix, Mission: Impossible, and I Spy, and look at others that may be provided you. And look for the episode of The Avengers that is entitled "The Cybernauts." Have fun watching some old-time television!
Announcement for the novice again: To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, go to Fox News Channel, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama, as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (to learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the Fox News Channel and those mentioned with it in presenting political stories and events, and you should discover CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV avoid covering things that make Barack Obama look bad or show his true nature, which could harm you). If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.
From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 21, 2010, WXYZ-TV presented 16th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise, which was a show that covered the special event in which people from many places around Michigan and even other states show off their classic cars (restored cars usually) on Woodward Avenue between Detroit and Pontiac around this date. The show was hosted by Diane Lewis and Stephen Clark, and the reporters were other staffers of WXYZ-TV. During the show, Mary Conway interviewed a executive of General Motors who was showing off the "Volt," and during the interview the interviewee said that, in the future, the Volt will be considered a "classic," like the cars that were being shown off along Woodward Avenue during the event this year, such as a 1965 Ford Mustang and other "muscle cars." Yes, guys and gals, executives at General Motors are pushing the idea that the Volt will be a "classic" in the future, which, it seems to me, would please Barack Obama, who seems to me to be working to turn the United States of America into a country in which all the vehicles are electric vehicles, and, of course, WXYZ-TV was coming along for the ride by helping promote the "Volt" as a future classic car from General "Government" Motors. Ask yourself--Why would a television show promoting "classic" Corvettes, Mustangs, et cetera waste a segment on the "Volt" when on Woodward Avenue at the time were hundreds and hundreds of wonderful looking "classic" cars? (Oh, I live several-hundred feet from Woodward Avenue, and a lot of restored cars drove by me during the week or so around this day--Saturday.) By the way, really, the people started crusin' Woodward Avenue in "classic" cars several days previous, and Friday was the official start to the event, and Saturday was the big day, and, certainly, many thousands of "classic" cars show up for the event, and many are from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
So let me add a review segment. The program gets about a "C." The hosts and anchors made a big deal of saying how great the event is and the cars are, but the show did not show what was great or enough cars. In fact, the show presented only a few shots of cars (it could have presented several montages of clips gathered throughout the day). The singing contest was flat, featuring four female singers, none of whom had power and natural singing quality or had much personality (Sarah Storti won the event). The host for the singing event was reporter Christy McDonald, who sang a song at the end of the program and who did a better job than the four contestants did, showing some fullness in the voice (but I am irked when a reporter promotes the self as a singer, as Anchorman Devon Scillian (of WDIV-TV, Channel 4) has done for many years, since news people should not be performers--at least on television).
Here is the look at the main "talent" (?) for the show. The hosts were Diane Lewis and Stephen Clark (and I urge you to see my document entitled T.H.A.T. #67 to see information about a news story done by Stephen Clark about health care, which can be reached by using this link: T.H.A.T. #67). The other reporters were Mary Conway, Dave Rexroth, JoAnne Purtan, Don Shane, and Carolyn Clifford (I have already mentioned Christy MacDonald). And the judges for the singing contest were Amelia Ellenstein (of Art Van Furniture), Bobby Mitchell (of WOMC-FM), and Alicia Smith (of WXYZ-TV).Warning with commentary (which will exist in every edition of T.H.A.T. through November 2010) -- Let me pass along information to show why it is important for every good American to vote against all Barack Obama supporters in elections in November 2010, and it means every good American, such as those who in the past have avoided voting, must vote. In December 2009, the citizens of the United States of America and other countries "dodged a bullet" when no international climate-change treaty was agreed to in Copenhagen, which must have greatly disappointed Barack Obama, since such an international treaty would have set down rules that would have supplanted laws in the United States of America, but I here make a note that, about a year ago, some people were reporting on Web sites, such as that of the Gun Owners of America, that Barack Obama was pushing for an international gun treaty, and now that you know more about what Barack Obama is, a bad man, I report that Barack Obama is a type of man who--it seems to me--would really like to have such a treaty enacted since it would reduce the ability of Americans to fight back against enemies who enter the country from other places and to fight back against a radical government. It takes the U.S. Senate to ratify a treaty signed by a U.S. President, and Americans must make sure the U.S. Senate gets more "conservatives" through the next election to make sure an international treaty about gun control would never be ratified by the U.S. Senate. So, did you enjoy watching Miss Universe Pageant 2010, which was shown by NBC-TV on August 23, 2010? I watched the opening of the show and a bit more of it, because I wanted to see what would happen to Miss Michigan, Rima Fakih, who was one of the main subjects of T.H.A.T. #74, which can be reached by using this link: T.H.A.T. #74. Rima Fakih did not make the cut into the final fifteen. When I saw the final fifteen, I said to myself, "I bet it goes to Mexico." I said that not because Miss Mexico was anything special but because I knew Mexico has been in the news lately in the United States of America--in relation to illegal aliens--and I knew Miss Universe 2009 was from Venezuela, a country which has a dictator and a country that Barack Obama seems to like--since the country is developing into a hard-line communist-like country. Yes, Miss Mexico won. Welcome to wonderful world of communists and defectives, one instrumental person of whom is now Barack Obama.
Public Service Announcement: If you wish to avoid giving a donation to nonprofit groups that support "manmade global warming" legislation or "manmade climate-change" legislation, such as the very bad American Clean Energy and Security Act (which is also known as the Waxman-Markey Bill), give to something better--particularly the Heritage Foundation and the Landmark Legal Foundation, which are organizations that support The U.S. Constitution and are working to defeat Barack Obama's plans to take over the country. On August 3, 2010, The CW began to run a series entitled 18 to Life. I have yet to see an episode shown on The CW, but I did seen an episode on CBC-TV (a Canadian television network) on August 23, 2010. The series is a Canadian series, and some of the performers are Peter Keleghan (who played "Ranger Gord" in, for example, The New Red Green Show at little while ago), Stacey Farber, Al Goulem, Angela Asher, and Ellen David. In the episode that I caught on CBC-TV on August 23, 2010, I heard Peter Keleghan's character say (right before the opening credits): "Well, what do you think of their little communist utopia now?"
A reminder (updated): Remember to tell your children and grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any president, which was a topic in T.H.A.T. #58, and remember to tell them to not blindly "believe" in leaders, and that is a lesson in this edition of T.H.A.T., as it was in the past and will be in the future. By the way, remember, in the "Presidential Video," which is one topic of T.H.A.T. #58, one male says, "I pledge to be of service to Barack Obama."; one female says, "I pledge to be a servant to our president." And make sure your children and grandchildren are not singing songs at school that praise Barack Obama, which has been done by children at some schools around the country since January 2009, since children should never sing songs that praise any politician, especially a megalomaniac and narcissist like Barack Obama.
Now, that the new television season is underway, I can forget about such bad 2009-2010 series--and I could list a lot--from the broadcast networks as Breakthrough with Tony Robbins, Romantically Challenged, 100 Questions, Losing It with Jillian Michaels, Hank, Find My Family, and The Marriage Ref.
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.
