Special Important Announcement
I have videos on YouTube, and they are history pieces, and they can be found at the channel for "The Hologlobe Press" (the search term). One of the videos is about my making of a model of 40 Mile Point Lighthouse, and other videos are about Ms. Anna May Wong, Ms. Sandy Benson (The Naked Lady of The Soupy Sales Show of KABC-TV), and WAYN-AM (of Wayne State University). By the way, you can use this Videos link to read about my videos. And I still have a document at the website for The Hologlobe Press entitled A COVID-19 Document that Shows the Rottenness of the CDC, Many in the Medical Community, Many in the Media, and All the Democrats, such as Gretchen Whitmer, Andrew Cuomo, and Joseph Biden, and the document can be reached by using this COVID-19 link.
Special Note about New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani
It seems that back in January 1, 2026, and around January 1, 2026, a lot of news organizations failed purposely and out of laziness to report words spoken by newly elected New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a communist, in a public speech or even proclamation. To right the wrong, I present in this document one of the hideous statements that Zohran Mamdani presented on the day to the public, and the statement shows the evilness of his mind. Zohran Mamdani stated flatly and directly and clearly--"...We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism....". The statement can be called a lie, but, to Zohran Mamdani, that is what he wants to do. That means Zohran Mamdani wants you to become a non-individual--a person not with your own thoughts and goals and aspirations--or to become just another one of the group, under the umbrella of his arms and rules. Zohran Mamdani does not want you to work on your own behalf to be better in this world and life and be better than what the lowest common denominator is, and he does not want you to gain through time the strength through trial and error and work to be strong enough to stand up to the nonsense that he is. Zohran Mamdani wants to be your protector in life and provider in life--for his sake and ability to be free to do whatever he wants. Incidentally, a "collective" (a word often used by communists and like people) is nothing more than a collection of people who are supposed to be the same and alike and even be passive to a leader. In life, you have to gain stamina through your actions of doing things, and a person's being a individual and working for the self to make things and do things increases the strength of the person, but a person's relying on, for example, a government leader does not develop strength in the person over time. It must be pointed out the "rugged individualism" is an American term used to describe persons with the ability to do for the self, and, certainly, when Zohran Mamdani used the term, Zohran Mamdani was consciously working to put down and discredit the United States of America and Americanism and anyone who would not follow his ways of life for the masses or his "collective."

Years ago, a person could find good and fun television programs on television stations that children would like, and a person could even find stuff on broadcast television networks, and that is especially true for the period from the 1940s to the 1980s. I have to admit that I no one show or series on broadcast television that is really aimed at children; yes, PBS has some kids programs, but PBS is a socialistic-type and communistic-type entity overall, and I do not recommend stuff associated with PBS anymore. Recently, I came across the circa 1950 program for children that never aired in the Detroit area, which is one reason that I was unaware of the program, since I could not run across it in television listings for Detroit television stations in newspapers. The program had two names--Cyclcone Malone and The Adventures of Cyclone Malone (at least based on my seeing two shows on YouTube, one of which was called Cyclone Malone in graphics on the screen while an announcer did say "The Adventures of Cyclone Malone.". The program originally was produced and aired on WNBH-TV in Los Angeles, California, and it began to run on the station on Monday, August 22, 1949, and the last program that I can find so far was shown on Wednesday, July 11, 1951. The main character was a cowboy--a puppet, like all the other characters--called Cyclone Malone. He had an Indian friend called "One Lone Feather" or simply "Lone Feather" or simply again "Feather." A talking bird was called "Burgess." And there was at least one other regular character, who was a horse named "Kookamunga" (though I may have the spelling wrong by using "k" where a "c" really was used). The main setting was Wishbone Hollow, and a nearby place was Yazoo Junction. I have seen two episodes of the series on YouTube, and one is about a dam and the other is about no rain having come down recently. The program seems to have been produced in two sets. The series was done for WNBH-TV only as a local show, and, later, 65 episodes were released through the syndication process, the offering of which seemed to be for the first time in about July of 1952, and the distributing company for the syndicated batch of shows was Consolidated Television Sales. I know not if some of the WNBH-TV-used shows (having been kinescoped during original presentation or were put directly on film) were in the package. Certainly, at least some of the syndicated shows were specifically filmed for syndication, having Carl Hittleman as the producer and John Gaunt as the director. Instrumental in creating and making the series about Cyclone Malone were Ann Davis and Dorothy Hovic, who--I am guessing--also did voice work for the puppet series. The main character's voice was done by Ross Jones. Other people who did voice work for the series were Barbara Wite, Roy Erwin, and John Holbrook. The episodes of the series that are on YouTube are only about eleven-minutes long, and they were at that lenght so that they could be used in a 15-minute block of time on a television station, which also used some time for commercials. The program was offered in syndication, as I have noted, but by doing a shallow search on television program listings I have yet to find a station that used the syndicated version of the show. By the way, just because a show was offered for syndication in the 1950s does not mean that any station used the series, since, for instance, if the syndicator (distributor) made a public announcement that such-and-such as series was available in the syndication marketplace and then almost no one at a television station in the country yelled to get the series, the series could have been pulled from the marketplace. In addition, I note that, in the 1950s, the syndication marketplace was filled with a lot of programs, many of which can be seen on television today or on YouTube (even if only a few episodes). If your looking for fun for your children, you might consider firing up "Cyclone Malone" on YouTube. If anything, you will let your children see what television could be like or look like some seventy or eighty years ago.
Well, I have some more "ugly" television to report on, and that should not surprise you, since I regularly find "ugly" television on the air today, at least in relation to over-the-air broadcasting by television stations. On June 13, 2026, I tuned into the television program on ABC-TV called United Bowl, and that was the broadcast of the UFL football league championship game. The game was not ugly, but the half-time show was ugly, and, in fact, it was a really ugly presentation. The main performer was "50 Cent," who has been around a while, and so, it seems, he can be regarded as something big (having probably made a lot of money selling this stuff). Once again, television viewers to a half-time show were presented with, in essence, rap crap. It was nothing to hum along to, and it was not to really sing along to, and it was nothing that was fun, and it was nothing memorable. I only saw a bit of the performance, quickly turning it off. What I did was tune out and tune into Channel 2.2 in the Detroit area, which carries the Movies subchannel network. At the time, the network was in the middle of running the 1967 movie called In Like Flint (which features James Coburn as Derek Flint). I had a good time watching the movie, even though I only saw a portion of the movie. I would not give even "50 cents" to see a "50 Cent" performance, because it would not be anything but ugly, which a lot of Americans, it seems, do not mind getting exposed to these days.
And while speaking of "ugly," I have this section to pass along. On June 14, 2026, the Detroit Free Press published an article called "SUMMER TV SIZZLES" [Lawler, Kelly (of USA Today). "SUMMER TV SIZZLES." Detroit Free Press, 14 June 2026, 5B.]. It was another of those articles reporting on what would be great shows to see in the summer, but, by the way, none were associated with over-the-air broadcast television, which was not surprising to me. Some of the shows The Vampire Lestat (on AMC), House of the Dragon (HBO), The Bear (Hulu and FX), and Elle (Prime Video). None of the shows appealed to me, and one looked as if it would be highly rotten. The show was--Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness. Even the title makes me want to throw it away. It does not make me think of fun and niceness and happiness. Look at some of the text that was used in the newspaper to promo the thing--"Dubbed as an 'almost history of America,' Larry David goes for broke in his first post-'Curb Your Enthusiasm' project in terms of celebrity collaborators. Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama combine forces with David for a project sort of celebrating the United States' 250th anniversary this July 4 with this seven-episode comedy series....". Yes, two black communists--Barack Obama and Michelle Obama--are going to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, which was designed not to be a communistic country, and they are going to supposedly make it comedy, and Larry David, a supporter of socialism and communism and like stuff, is leading the way. And the crap just keeps on coming, and peope have to pay for it, since it is present on HBO (a pay service).
And speaking of really "ugly" stuff, I come to this information. On June 17, 2026, I just happened to tune into Channel 15.2 in the Detroit area (which has WHPS-TV), and it was about 6:25 p.m.. The station was running graphics and an audio feed that had The Tavis Smiley Show (a radio show) Normally, that show is presented on the station from noon to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays, so I must have had a repeat presentation of the show from earlier in the day. By the way, the graphic stuff was a few things that got repeated on and on and on and on, such as information that notes that the presentation was distributed by R.J. Watkins Studios." Tavis Smiley was interviewing a black gal named Dr. Catherine Meeks, who was working to sell her book called Bridging the Rivers of Difference: A Proclamation to Unity in Resistance. The small portion of the program that I caught wreeked of hate for "whites" (who it was pushed has been have been promoting "white supremacy" for years), and the presentation of cliches and nonsense themes sounded like hard-line black communistic talk. After that was done on the air, I went to see what the correction spelling of the woman's name was and the correct title of the book through an Internet search. I was given, for instance, an Amazon page working to sell the book. The discription stuff on the Amazon-related page came off as hard-line black communism and more ugliness. And that is what R.J. Watkins stands for--promoting hate and violence through television and radio--and it is right out in the open for every one to see.
Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that the Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
[Note: Here is an example of Chris Christie's rottenness. On Sunday, February 6, 2022, Chris Christie was a guest on This Week with George Stephanopoulos (of ABC-TV), which had Martha Raddatz as the host, and Chris Christie pushed out crap. For example, Chris Christie said--"...And let's face it. Let's call it what it is. January 6 was a riot that was incited by Donald Trump...an effort to intimidate Mike Pence and the Congress into doing exactly what he said in his own words last week--overturn the election. And he's trying to do a cleanup on aisle one here...." and "...He actually told the truth by accident. He wanted the election to be overturned....". That is bullshit!]Over the years, I have reported that I have found numerous errors about television history in documents tied to Wikipedia, and in this edition of T.H.A.T., I shown some more errors, and the focus in on a document on Wkipedia about WPAG-TV, Ann Arbor, which was around from 1953 to 1957, which is only a rough accounting about when it existed. Actually, WPAG-TV, Channel 20, began to broadcast text patterns (only) on April 3, 1953, at 1:18 a.m., and it was intermittent testing broadcasting really over the next few weeks. Wikipedia gives the impression that the station was really on the air with programming on this date. WPAG-TV began to run programming--on a seven-days-a-week basis--on May 12, 1953, and, generally speaking, the station would only run regularly in the evenings or during what was prime time in the middle of the 1950s, roughly from 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. usually till around midnight or so, but there were times when the station was on in the afternoons, such as on Saturday, to air Detroit Tigers baseball games (while the games were also running on WJBK-TV, Channel 2, Detroit). It was on December 31, 1957, when WPAG-TV had a last day of broadcasting. In Wikipedia, it is reported that WPAG-TV aired The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (a television series) and Sky King (a television series), when they were products of ABC-TV, but that is wrong. The station did air Sky King (when it was as a syndication product), and the station did air The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet for a while, but it was off-network-episodes, and also the television listings of The Ann Arbor News had Ozzie and Harriet, the real title was probably The Nelsons, which was a syndicated title used for at least a while. Between May 12, 1953, and September 15, 1955, WPAG-TV aired a few programs of the DuMont Television Network, but Wikipedia notes that the station was playing programs from the DuMont Television Network in 1956, but that is not possible, since the DuMont Television Network was shut down on September 15, 1955. Some of the the series or some of the episodes of the series of the DuMont Television Network that WPAG-TV aired were--Down You Go, Life Begins at 80, The Dotty Mack Show, and Blind Date. The station, especially in the early days, aired some "serials" (movie serials of the 1930s) through the syndication process, and some of the movies (shown in parts, of course) were--The Miracle Rider (1935), Mystery Mountain (1934), and Last of the Mohicans (1932). In the beginnings of the heyday of television syndication (the 1950s), WPAG-TV aired syndicated series, such as Adventures of Superman, Death Valley Days, Industry on Parade (which can be called--using a term of today--a "reality" series, The Christophers (a religious series), cartoons, and The Eddie Cantor Comedy Theatre. The station had a number of locally produced series on the air for viewers, and many were tied to the University of Michigan, and some of the series that the station had on the air in the four-year-and-a-bit-more period were--Dateline Ann Arbor, Senator Ferguson's series, Club 20 (on some Friday evenings), Off Cuff, U. of M. Hour, State Hospital, Studio Sampler, Piano Playhouse, 310 Weekly, and Story Time. The station also aired movies, which was commonplace for television stations in the country at the time and which is not commonplace for television stations today. Many of the movies were old-time or B-type westerns. Here, I jump into Looking at the Movies, which is a regular segment in Television History and Television documents. On May 12, 1953, The Ann Arbor News finally began to carry television-program listings for WPAG-TV, and on that day, WPAG-TV aired two movies. At 8:00 p.m., the movie was Bees in Paraadise (a 1944-released movie), and at 9:30 p.m., the movie was The Ghost Walks, which had such performers as June Collyer and John Miljan. By the way, such newspapers as The Windsor Daily Star and the Detroit Free Press have no listings for the station for May 12, 1953, so, at the moment, I have no idea what was aired on May 12, 1953 (the debut day). For this edition of Television History and Trivia, I present The Ghost Walks for a Looking at the Movies presentation.

Trump Impeachment (at Impeachment) and T.H.A.T. Special Edition--The First Helicopter-based Traffic Reporters on Radio for the Detroit area of Michigan (at Helicopter Traffic).
Now, let me look at two programs put on by WDIV-TV, Channel 4.1., in the Detroit area since I published the previous edition of Television History and Trivia.
On June 20, 2026, I stumbled upon a football broadcast on the station; I had not expected to come across it. The program was called (roughly) The 46th East-West All-Star Game. It presented 80 high-school football players in a game that was broadcast from Blue Devil Stadium of Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit. In essence, the live low-budget program was put together by WDIV-TV and the State Champ! Sports Network, the latter of which produces during the times that high schools are in session the weekly program called State Champs!, which offers up clips of high-school sports around Michigan, and the program will be back on the air in the fall on, for instance, WDIV-TV. Taking part in the program were, for example, Sean Baligian (who did play-by-play work) and Patti Cesarini (who did reporting work), and it sems the commentary work for the game was done by Coach Brian Lemons (of Bighton High School, Brighton, Michigan), but I am not sure of that since the program did not mention the full name of the guy while I was watching. The video presentation was a little weak, but Channel 4.1 probably made money or did not lose money on the program, since the budget was low, and, in fact, the station probably did better than if it would have aired the NBC-TV prime-time stuff instead.
The second program to talk about is The Ford Fireworks presentation, and that was given viewers on June 22, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.. The program was really two parts--The Ford Fireworks Countdown (from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) and The Ford Fireworks (from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), and, really, the first part should have been from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m,. since the nine o'clock hour had the same format as the first hour, so that was sort of dumb. Taking part in the program were Ty Steele, Kimberly Gill, Karen Drew, and Demond Fernandez, the formerr two of whom were the main hosts. Karen Drew was the host for the "Super Singer' contest, which involved four (so-called) singers. Six judges were on the program, and I only was familiar with two--"Blaine and Lauren" (a well-known morning radio announcing team), and the judges were lame in their critiques. The first singer--Jazmine Young--presented too much in the way of "singing affectations," which bothered me, instead of true singing. Nathan Gardner was sort of depressing because of his choice of music. Jannah G was so-so. The best--in what I could see--was Jerry Harris, who could sing. The judges came off as a bit gutless. One segment of the three-hour presentation focused on some charities, and the guests were Katrina Keeby-Watkins, Sgt. Bryant George, Robin Damschroder, and Darnell Adams, and, to me, the segment came off as more a praise for WDIV-TV doings than the guests' doings related to charity, so that came off as a bit stupid. During the program, the station aired several commercials from a woman called Haley Stevens (a U.S. Representative related to Michigan), a hard-line communist and liar, and her advertisements--related to running for the U.S. Senate in relation to Michigan--were filled with lies, such as the one about Donald Trump's working to kill Medicare. Haley Stevens is shit! Yet, most Michiganians care not or are stupid about that. The commercials from Haley Stevens gave the broadcast an ugly tone. Keep in mind--I am not one of the many stupid Detroiters, unaware about what makes a society do well. Of course, the station could not necessarily refuse to air the commercials from her, and the station wants money, not matter whose. Another bad part of the program was a segment hosted by Karen Drew. For months, the station owners have been working to set up a coffee shop of sorts in Plymouth, Michigan, which is another suburb of Detroit. The place is to be called "Fourgrounds." The management's goal it to set up a place for people to talk and discuss politics and whatever. What the hell is a television station--which should be anti-communistic and anti-socialistic in America and non-specific about politics that it stands for--operate a coffee shop? The station's running a coffee shop is a stupid idea! It is a bad idea! The place will surely--as I can determine--end up being a haven for, especially, young socialists and communists and liberals and the like. When the segment was showing the place while it is under construction, it showed the "manager" (who looked like a "butch" feminist lesbian). Are you going to tell me that the coffee shop will focus on anti-communism and anti-socialism and attract a lot of anti-communists and anti-socialists or, really, anti-enslavists? Bullshit, it is! But it was not surprising to me, given I know the history of WDIV-TV and people who have worked there.
And I have one more stupid thing about WDIV-TV to pass along. Snce I published the previous edition of T.H.A.T., I have been exposed to a new news promotions on the station. The station pushes out the idea that it has "community correspondents," who are working in your community and worried about your community and concerned about your community. It sounds like socialistic crap and stupid stuff--"community." Given how many commuties are around in the Detroit area, the reporters cannot be concerned really with "your community." There are not enough reporters to go around, and, anyway, the station will probably really focus on Ferndale, Royal Oak, Birmingham, and like other cities, which has been the rule for decades.
[Note: I urge you to see Michigan Travel Tips #267, because it has an interesting part about "RV" living and related matters, such as about YouTube, and you can get to that document by using this Travel #267 link.]Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.
Stay well!Vic
P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link. I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man." For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President. I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
