Special Important Announcement
I have videos on YouTube, and they are history pieces, and they can be found at the channel for "The Hologlobe Press" (the search term). One of the videos is about my making of a model of 40 Mile Point Lighthouse, and other videos are about Ms. Anna May Wong, Ms. Sandy Benson (The Naked Lady of The Soupy Sales Show of KABC-TV), and WAYN-AM (of Wayne State University). By the way, you can use this Videos link to read about my videos. And I still have a document at the website for The Hologlobe Press entitled A COVID-19 Document that Shows the Rottenness of the CDC, Many in the Medical Community, Many in the Media, and All the Democrats, such as Gretchen Whitmer, Andrew Cuomo, and Joseph Biden, and the document can be reached by using this COVID-19 link.
Special Note about New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani
It seems that back in January 1, 2026, and around January 1, 2026, a lot of news organizations failed purposely and out of laziness to report words spoken by newly elected New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a communist, in a public speech or even proclamation. To right the wrong, I present in this document one of the hideous statements that Zohran Mamdani presented on the day to the public, and the statement shows the evilness of his mind. Zohran Mamdani stated flatly and directly and clearly--"...We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism....". The statement can be called a lie, but, to Zohran Mamdani, that is what he wants to do. That means Zohran Mamdani wants you to become a non-individual--a person not with your own thoughts and goals and aspirations--or to become just another one of the group, under the umbrella of his arms and rules. Zohran Mamdani does not want you to work on your own behalf to be better in this world and life and be better than what the lowest common denominator is, and he does not want you to gain through time the strength through trial and error and work to be strong enough to stand up to the nonsense that he is. Zohran Mamdani wants to be your protector in life and provider in life--for his sake and ability to be free to do whatever he wants. Incidentally, a "collective" (a word often used by communists and like people) is nothing more than a collection of people who are supposed to be the same and alike and even be passive to a leader. In life, you have to gain stamina through your actions of doing things, and a person's being a individual and working for the self to make things and do things increases the strength of the person, but a person's relying on, for example, a government leader does not develop strength in the person over time. It must be pointed out the "rugged individualism" is an American term used to describe persons with the ability to do for the self, and, certainly, when Zohran Mamdani used the term, Zohran Mamdani was consciously working to put down and discredit the United States of America and Americanism and anyone who would not follow his ways of life for the masses or his "collective."

I have reported in the past that commercial television history can be set down in three main periods, and, for this discussion, I am focusing on fiction series. The first period goes from 1941 to about 1990, and it was a period when cable television was not yet a super-big thing in the country, especially in the Detroit area. The second period is the transition period, and it covers the 1980s and 1990s and the very early years of the 2000s. The third period is the current period, which covers the last 25 years or so. What is a big difference between the first period and the third period is the first period had the makers of shows working to make true fiction, and, for the third period, producers have been working to make fiction shows reflect as much as possible reality or their perception of reality, and that is why thethird period has the producers, for one, pushing out great violent images, and that has resulted in the rise of "ugly" television. When you see "ugly" television, you often--at the end of a show--feel crappy and feel that you saw nothing pleasant, even in the main characters, such as that played by Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (who always looks stressed and unhappy and would never be caught, it seems, presenting such a happy moment as that noted in the previous edition of T.H.A.T. in relation to the episode of The Debbie Reynolds Show). As a replacement for "showmanship," producers and writers and actors of shows want to present "reality fiction." Back in the first period, viewers knew they were getting "fiction" and stories of fiction with made-up characters. Of course, by presenting "reality fiction," the television-program makers can slip in political crap into stories, and they can make women be what they are often not--men. The middle period--you should understand or be able to deduce--is the transition period between the first period and the third period, having the rise of ugly television, such as that shown in the remake of Ironside, in which a black actor was chosen to be the main character, replacing what had been a white actor, and in which violence was striking greater than it had been in the original Ironside series 1960s and early 1970s. It seems very likely to me that the first period will never return, and viewers now will in relation to new programs get more and more "ugly" television--the producers and such cannot go back to old themes, since they do not have the skill in them--and the old nice shows will be rerun for decades, unless the program owners keep them locked up, not wanting to reduce the numbers of viewers that might see their news shows, and, maybe, that is why the current state of the "suchannel" universe is getting weaker because people are being given the same few shows on more than one subchannel network, and examples of the few shows are Bonanza and Columbo and Sanford and Son. And the first period probably will not return because the audiences of today are cheaper than the audiences of years ago, as seen by how many put up with and even liked the "ugly" half-time show, featuring a gutter boy called Bad Bunny, of the Super Bowl LX day.
Welcome to Television History and Trivia #265.
I have been looking at old magazines and newspapers for a little over five decades to find information about television in the past, and I happen to find interesting things not related to shows proper. For instance, I have come across advertisements in newspapers of the late 1940s and 1950s that are urging, for one, guys to sign up for classes that will lead to their becoming television-repair guys. Today, you will not see such advertisements in newspapers, such as the Detroit Free Press. Of course, people do not repair television sets today as people did decades ago. People just throw out broken sets and get new sets. Recently, I came across an unexpected advertisement in the Chicago Tribune, and it was in the issue for January 29, 1950 (page 82). The advertisement urged people to become a professional makeup artist for television, stage and screen by taking classes. Contact Syd Simons of the American School of Beauty Culture (30 East Adams Street, Chicago, Illinois) by calling CE 6-5446.
In the past, I have talked about Shirley Jones and her performance in a television "pilot" called Dream Wife. Before Dream Wife would be made and, by the way, The Partridge Family would be made (in which she was a main performer), Shirley Jones acted in a pilot called For the Love of Mike (copyright 1960). Incidentally, in the 1950s and 1960s (and even in the 1970s), what were unsold pilots for television series sometimes were broadcast before the American viewing public on the broadcast television networks, such as in summer-replacement series. On Tuesday, July 11, 1962, CBS-TV aired For the Love of Mike starting at 9:00 p.m., and the black-and-white filmed program ran for 30 minutes. The umbrella title used for the showing of the program was Comedy Spot, which had various other half-hour programs in the summer of 1962, such as Octavious & Me. In For the Love of Mike, a person can once again see a combined quality of pleasantness and niceness and likableness in Shirley Jones that is hard to find in a woman on television today. You can see what I mean by looking for For the Love of Mike on YouTube, where the episode is available for free. I can see why For the Love of Mike never was bought to be developed into a series, but it is not because the pilot was an ugly show, and one reason is that there was so much other stuff that network programmers should chose from--it was the heyday of making pilots for series to be used on the broadcast networks (three of them). If you want to see one of the most pleasant and lovely actresses on television in the 1960s--at least in what is presented on the screen and not related to real life (which I lack information about)--see For the Love of Mike, and enjoy Shirley Jones, who is 92 years of age now.
Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that the Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
[Note: Here is an example of Chris Christie's rottenness. On Sunday, February 6, 2022, Chris Christie was a guest on This Week with George Stephanopoulos (of ABC-TV), which had Martha Raddatz as the host, and Chris Christie pushed out crap. For example, Chris Christie said--"...And let's face it. Let's call it what it is. January 6 was a riot that was incited by Donald Trump...an effort to intimidate Mike Pence and the Congress into doing exactly what he said in his own words last week--overturn the election. And he's trying to do a cleanup on aisle one here...." and "...He actually told the truth by accident. He wanted the election to be overturned....". That is bullshit!]Special commentary and news section: Now, I get to this subject, having waited to cover it so that some weeks of history could play out. On Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the morning, U.S. President Donald J. Trump started up a military action against Iran, which, for example, had been well known to be a sponsor of international terrorism related to supporting the ways of Sharia and force the ways of Sharia on the world, covering places from Asia to North America, and, in the previous month, the rulers of Iran had killed some 30,000 persons, who had been protesting against the government, which, for instance, had caused through rotten government and management policies the loss of easy access for thousands and thousands and thousands in Iran access to enough water and better economic ways. [Note: This section uses "Detroit time" for indications of time.] On Saturday, February 28, 2026, I stumbled upon on broadcast television (not cable and such) some special programs pushed out by the broadcast networks that covered the event (the millitary action against Iran). I first discovered that, in the 2:30 p.m. half hour, CBS-TV was airing a portion of programing that belonged to the entity called "CBS News 24/7" (a news service, such as for Internet-based devices). Major Garrett was hosting the presentation, and I was able to see that the program had at least Courtney Kealy and Joe Zacks taking part. There may have been other persons involved with on-air reporting or commenting, but I lack information about such persons, and I know not when the program was put on the air--it may have been, for instance, at 2:00 p.m.. I cannot complain about the presentation, even though Major Garrett, whom I have found to be a rotten journalist or reporter, promoting socialists and such, was the anchor of the program. There was--during the time that I was tuned in to the programming--a clear indication of propaganda against Donald J. Trump presented; it was mostly news or information. At 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, CBS-TV may have had a presentation of the CBS Evening News, but I did not see it, but, at 7:00 p.m., the network ran an extension of the CBS Evening News (for a half hour), having Tony Dokoupil as the anchor, and the half-hour program also had Country Kealy doing some reporting. U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-Illinois) was a guest on the program, and Tammy Duckworth pushed out what was to be expected--Democratic Party talking points that were designed to put down Donald Trump. Having no real information about what was being done by the military (which included Donald J. Trump, generals, et cetera), Tammy Duckworth pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump does not "have a plan for what's next." She has no idea what is going on, and yet she ran off flap doodle! Tammy Duckworth said, based on nothing, that what was going to happen is another "forever war." Tammy Duckworth was not prevey truly informed about what Donald J. Trump and his associates in his inner circle in relation to the military operation that had been agreed upon, and it is good that she was not informed, given her history shows she would be against whatever Donald J. Trump thought would be good for the country, Iran, and the world. Once again, the program did not give off too much political propaganda aimed at putting down Donald J. Trump's a actions. It was noted, that later in the day, CBS-TV would have more reactions from Democrats, who had already expressed (somewhere and maybe only to news people behind the scenes) that they were against the action, but a few or a parade of such Democrats did not show up later in the day. NBC-TV offered up a news special--NBC News Special Report--at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, which would last an hour, and the program was anchored by Tom Lllamas. This program had these persons on the air--Kristen Welker (reporting as a staffer for NBC-TV), Richard Engel (reporting), Keir Simmons (reporting), Marak Esper (being interviewed), Yasmeen Pesaud (reporting), Gabe Gutierrez (reporting), Michael Froman (commenting as a guest), Ciountry Kube (reporting), Hooman Majd (commentating), Valerie Castro (reporting), and Allie Canal (reporting). Once again, there was no really big push to put down Donald J. Trump, but it must be remembered that little about the event was truly known by the American public and the news services of the country and new services of other countries, so the information was mostly vague notes about what was known. At 10:00 p.m., on the same day, CBS-TV once again had a special program on the air that was related to the event. By the way, other networks did not have as much on the air it seems because they had programming that could not really be interrupted well, such as sports programming. The late-evening program from CBS-TV was called War with Iran, and the anchor was Tony Dokoupil, and taking part in the program were--Robert Costa (reporting), Charlie D'Agata (reporting), Mark Montgomery (commenting), Elliot Ackerman (commenting), Weijia Jiang (reporting), U.S. Senator Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) (commenting), U.S. Representative Rick Crawford (commenting), Douglas Murray (commenting), Major Garrett (reporting), and Samantha Vinograd (commenting), and the final guest was a woman named Masih Alinejad, whose voice was worn out from celebrating and who was one person well glad of the event. The program was sort of middle-of-the-road (or sort of balanced) in a political sense, but Major Garrett got to run off polling data that it seemed to me was designed to put down Donald J. Trump, so Major Garrett was back in form and doing what he likes to do it seems. It was on Sunday, March 1, 2026, when clear evidence to put down Donald J. Trump showed up through what are called Sunday-morning political talk shows. I tuned in to most on a live basis; I left Meet the Press off the list because I expected it to be highly biased, and it was as I would learn through seeing it on YouTube later. At 9:00 a.m., ABC-TV presented a special edition of This Week with George Stephanopoulos called Attack on Iran, and it ran for one hour. The host was the ever-mean-looking George Stephanopoulos, Taking part in the program in the beginning were Ian Pannell (reporting and commentating), Marcus Moore (reporting), Martha Raddatz (reporting), Pierre Thomas (reporting), and Mary Bruce (reporting). Then there was a panel segment featuring Dan Karbler, Vali Nasr, and Doug Lute, who passed along military-related thoughts. The next people were guesrts--U.S. Senator Adam Schiff, Abbas Arghchi, and U. S. Senator James Lankford. The round-table discussion had Donna Brazile (a supporter of the Democratic Party), Doug Heys (called a "Republican strategist"), Faiz Shakir (a supporter of communists and the like, such as Barack Obama), and Sarah Iscur (who seemed to be a supporter of the Democratic Party and Tucker Carlson, a media person who supports rotten political ways and people). Generally speaking, the program was slanted to put down Donald J. Trump and his actions and make the Democrats look good, and, for instance, Adam Schiff pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump had no authorization from the U.S. Congress to take such action (though it was not required), and Adam Schiff noted that Donald J. Trump broke his promise of having no more war stuff (though the rulers of Iran have been at war with Israel, the United States of America, and other non-Sharia nations for decades). Abbas Araghchi was then the current Foreign Minister of Iran, and he pushed out the idea that, in January 2026, during the protests Iranians, who were protesting the lack of water and other things, the government of Iran only killed about 2,500 (instead of the some 30,000 being reported by the rest of the world), all of whom were considered "terrorists" against the government of Iran [which, in truth, can be called true, since the people had been working to get rid of the rotten government of Iran and could be called "enemies of the state" (though a rotten state)]. At 10:00 p.m., Fox TV offered up another edition of Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream, and it was anchored by Shannon Bream. Taking part in the program were Trey Yingst (reporting), Aishah Hasnie (reporting), Retireed Lt. General Keith Kellogg (commenting), U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA), Jennifer Griffin (reporting), U.S. Senator David McCormick (R-PA), Dave Spunt (reporting), David Nasser (commenting), and Gillian Turner (reporting), and the panel-discusison group had Reince Priebus, Marie Narf, Roger Zakheim, and Hans Nichols. Overall, the program seemed to be sort of middle-of-the-road or balanced, though it was off to the right a bit maybe. Tim Kaine made the point that Iran was coming to an agreement in relation to nuclear stuff, and yet Donald J. Trump started the attack, but evidence shows that the statement about Iran was truly wrong information or a lie. The last program that I caught live was Face the Nation, which began at 10:30 a.m., and it was hosted by the ever-angry-looking Margaret Brennan, whom I have shown in the past to be rotten. Other taking part in the program were Charlie D'Agata (reporting), Imtiaz Tyab (reporting), U. S. Senator Tom Cotton (commenting), U.S. Senator Charlie Murphy (D-Conn) (commenting), Mike Turner (commenting), U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, Retired General Frank Mckenzie, and Karim Sadjadpour. Charlie Murphy came off as a jackass, presenting jackass ideas. For instance, Charlie Murphy got into that "weathly" theme, saying that regular Americans are going to die because of Donald Trump's actions and not "rich" people (such as Donald Trump's buddies). Charlie Murphy said that the action is going to be a failure, and he noted that Donald Trump has no "plan for the chaos" that he is creating. Charlie Murphy worked to change the subject by noting that people should be talking about and dealing with the actions of "ICE" (a federal-government entity), which is involved in killing Americans. In the afternoon of Sunday, March 1, 2026, I went to see what Meet the Press with Kristen Welker had done starting at 10:30 a.m. on NBC-TV and had done over one hour. Kristen Welker had three guests--U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), U.S. Senator Mark Kelly (D-Ariz), and U.S. Representative Ro Khanna (D.-Calilf.). The panel was basically a socialistic-based panel, and it had--Carol Lee (an NBC-TV reporter), Stephen Hayes (editor of The Dispatch, supposedly a Republican-leaning publication), Jeh Johnson (a Democrat and a former head of Homeland Security), and Jonathan Martin (who is tied to the hard-left information service known as Politico). I did not see the entire show; in fact, I left it during the first main segment, which was an interview with Lindsey Graham. I left because Kristen Welker's questions were not designed to do anything but find falt with Donald J. Trump and make Donald J. Trump look bad. And I had the feeling that Kristen Welker was working to get answers that might be used against Donald J. Trump in the future, such as during yet another "impeachment" event in which the Democrats could push the idea that Donald J. Trump had done hideous things and was corrupt and corrupted the office of the U.S. president. Kristen Welker wondered if the country was in a "war," if the U.S. will pick the next leader, if the U.S. will make sure that the next regime will not be bad, if "hope" is the plan for Iran, if there is a "plan," and if there was an "imminent threat" to the peple of the country. I noted that Donald J. Trump on the morning of Saturday, February 28, 2026, beginning at about 6:30 a.m., was working to get the good people of Iran to take back their country, which might be the only time in which it might be able to be done for decades or generations. Kristen Welker was clearly angry looking and working to get Lindsey Graham to say things that might show Donald J. Trump was going against the American people and the country. I have a side note on Sundays, WDIV-TV, Channel 4.1, in Detroit has a regular political talk show called Flashpoint, which is hosted by Jason Colthorp. On Sunday, March 1, 2026, the program opened with Jason Colthrop noting that a scheduled program for the day was being bumped and was being replaced with what was coming. The program opened with U.S. Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) as the first guest, and he pushed out the Democratic talking points, such as about "no plan" and "war of choice." In addition, Gary Peters pushed forth the idea that Donald Trump wakes up every day with a "strategy of chaos." Yes, Gary Peters worked to put down Donald J. Trump, as did the next guest, another supporter of the Democratic Party it seems, and the person was Saeed Khan (a professor of Near Eastern Studies at Wayne State University, Detroit). The second half of the half-hour show had a panel make up of Stephen Henderson (a black socialist and journalist of the Detroit area), James Roe, Randy Richardville, and Alexis Wiley, and the panel came off--through what they presented--supporters of the Democratic Party. There was no political balance in Flashpoint, which is not surprising to me. Hey, I have to add that Chris Murphy (while on Face the Nation) pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump is the "most corrupt president in our history." It was more crap from the Democrats!
[Note: I bring up the subject of whether or not an agreement was well in the works, as noted by Democrats and like people (communists and socialists and progressives and Shariaists). On Tuesday, March 3, 3036, I happened to catch the first hour of the nationally syndicated radio shows designed for weekdays called The Mark Levin Show. From about 6:10 p.m. to 6:50 p.m., Mark Levin interviewed Steve Whitcoff (of the U.S.), who had been in the talks between the U.S. government and the Iranian government. During the radio program, Steve Whitcoff noted that there were three meetings. The first amounted to nothing or no agreement or amounted to nothing close to an agreement. The second meeting sort of resulted in a promise by the Iranian team that an agreement proposal would be forthcoming soon, but nothing came soon or at all. In essence, the Iranian team was involved in a stall campaign. The third meeting sort of had plans for an agreement through a seven-page document or so, but the U.S. team was not provided with a copy of the document that they could take away and show, such as to U.S. President Donald J. Trump. It seems the Democrats were using information from the Iran government to say that an agreement was bascially done, and that means the Democrats were trusting enemies of the U.S. for their stance. Democrats were not actually involved in the negotiations! They had no real idea what was going on! So Democrats were purposely passing along crap information. By the way, U.S. main-stream reporters were not really taking up the work to pass along the proper story or any story from, for example, Steve Whitcoff on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Lying by omission--that seems to be the way on the main media that is beholden to the Democratic Party.]Announcement: Recently, I have added some new documents to the collection of my documents at the website for The Hologlobe Press. One of the documents is entitled A Document that Dispels Myths and Nonsense of Science-Fiction Books, Movies, and Television Shows (A Logic Puzzle), which can be reached through this Myths link. Another document is And So You Think You're Going to the Moon, Mars, or the Stars..., which can be reached by using this Moon link. And yet another of the documents is entitled And the Stupid Women Shall Lead--and Lead Every Good Individual into Shit, Driven on by Communism, Feminism, and Defective Female Beliefs and Little-Girl Thinking, which can be reached through this Stupid Women link. And here are other documents--A Review of What Television Controlled by Socialists and Communists Worked to Sell as Truth in Relation to the U.S. President Donald J. Trump Impeachment (at Impeachment) and T.H.A.T. Special Edition--The First Helicopter-based Traffic Reporters on Radio for the Detroit area of Michigan (at Helicopter Traffic).
For Detroit-area viewers, Chanel 62, WXON-TV, showed up on Sunday, September 15, 1968, and over the next few weeks, the station aired such half-hour programs as Leave it to Beaver, The Ann Sothern Show, Adventures of Robin Hood, The Phil Silvers Show, and My Friend Flicka, all of which were repeat programs. Also, the station aired a lot of movies, or it used many blocks of time for the showing of movies, and, by the way, the daily schedule usually ran from 3:30p.m. to about 2:00 a.m.. Prime-time usually offered up two movies each night, beginning a 6:30 p.m.. I must say here that the station really did not air a lot of differnent movies; it had a small batch of movies, each of which was given serveral runs in the first two weeks or so. Some of the movies were The Eddie Cantor Story (of 1954), About Face (of 1952), and The Lady is a Square (of 1957). One of the movies was The Dam Busters (of 1955), which featured Richard Todd, and it was shown on Wednesday, September 25, 1968, at 1:00 a.m., and on Friday, September 27, 1968, at 11:00 p.m., and I like The Dam Busters, and I would like to make it a presentation of Looking at the Movies, but I cannot make it a presentation of Looking at the Movies in this edition of Television History and Trivia, since the movie is not offered for free on YouTube today. I have chosen The Spy Who Loved Flowers (the title used in the U.S.A.); it was on Channel 62 on Monday, September 30, 1968, at about 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 2, 1968, at 1:00 a.m.. On YouTube, that movie is listed in one case as "The Spy Who Loved Flowers - Eurospy Movie 1966 In English". On the movie, the title is--Le Spie Amano I Fiori. The movie is dubbed in English. If you see it, you should know none of the main performers, such as Roger Browne, Emma Danieli, Dan Vargas, Marino Mase', and Mark Trevor. In a shot sequence related to Paris, France, in the movie, I saw some things of about 1966, when the movie was made, that I have in my video about World War I at the channel for "The Hologlobe Press" on YouTube, but the things in my video are as they were in about 1918. So fire up The Spy Who Love Flowers, and take a trip to September 1968, and pretend that you are watching WXON-TV, Channel 62, in the early days of WXON-TV.
Oh, on Monday, May 4, 2025, I caught the episode for the day for Sullivan's Crossing (of the CW network). I was working to get sample credits for the series. While waiting for the opening credits to end, I was paying attention to the program and the story line. I soon said to myself that the show was written by a woman, and it was--to me--stupid stuff and had a stupid tone. When the credit for the writer showed up, I saw that indeed it was written by a woman, who was probably a feminist. And when I saw the credit for the director, I discovered the episode was directed by a woman. The show was icky.
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.
Stay well!Vic
P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link. I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man." For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President. I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
