The "Black Lives Matter" movement is just another freak movement, another socialistic movement, another communistic movement, another shit movement, not unlike the "SDS" movement (or the Students for a Democratic Society movement) of the 1960s, and, by the way, the "Black Lives Matter" movement has attracted, it seems, a lot of whites of universities and colleges (students who are full of shit), even though the pushers and founders of the movement are black women, such as Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, and Patrisse Cullors, who in public call themselves "Marxists" (who are, basically, communists and socialists and the like or enslavists). The "Black Lives Matter" movement has been given high stature by many people, especially many people who are members of the media and the sports field. Here, the "Black Lives Matter" movement gets put down--highly--and I do not subscribe to what the "Black Lives Matter" people stand for, which is an enslavism form of government over the expense of everything related to The United States Constitution. If you stand for the "Black Lives Matter" movement, I tell you to go suck on dry wall, and I will tell that to your face, given your "movement" stands for corruption and violence.
So, there have been a lot of shitty blacks on television since I published the previous edition of Television History and Trivia. On August 19, 2020, Barack Hussein Obama--a perpetual liar and evil black man (as you can see by using either this Quotes link or this Quotes2 link)--spoke his regular nonsense during the Democratic Party convention. During a televised speech, Barack Hussein Obama pushed out fluff and no facts, and, for example, Barack Hussein Obama said such things as--"...For close to four years now, he [U.S. President Donald J. Trump] has shown no interest in putting in the work...." and "...No interest in treating the presidency as anything but one more reality show that he can use to get the attention he craves. Donald Trump hasn't grown into the job, because he can't...." It was the usual crap from a crappy mind--that of Barack Hussein Obama. On August 15, 2020, U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley (who represents the Seventh District of Massachusetts and is a Democratic) was a guest on AM Joy of MSNBC, and it was at a time when, for example, riots were still taking place in some cities, such as Portland, Oregon, a socialistic stronghold, by whites and blacks who support the Democratic Party (given members of the Republican Party are not welcome). For example, U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley pushed out--"...I'm looking to the public. You know, this is as much about public outcry, and organizing, and mobilizing, and applying pressure so that this GOP-led Senate and that these governors that continue to carry water for this administration [the Donald J. Trump administrations], putting the American people's in harm, harm's way, turning a deaf ear to the needs of our families and our communities. Hold them accountable. Make the phone calls, send the emails, show up. You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there's unrest in our lives, and unfortunately there's plenty to go around....". On April 19, 2020, some Americans--those who wanted to be--got exposed to U.S. Senator Kamala Harris on television while she was accepting her nomination to be the vice presidential candidate for the Democratic Party. Of course, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris did not report all the bad things that she stands for, such as no border for the country (meaning anyone can enter the country at will, which no country in the world has), the shutting down of the ICE system (which is related to, for instance, immigration-law enforcement), and giving illegal aliens free health care (meaning the America public would have to pay the medical bills of foreigners through taxes and more taxes). I report that U.S. Senator Kamala Harris stands for something that is truly hideous and makes her an enemy of good people--she wants to shut down completely the private-health-care-insurance system (meaning the government gets complete control of what health care you get, when you get health care, how much health care to get, et cetera, and that means she has the mind of an enslavist--a killer, who would stab you in the face with a knife (for fun)). During the speech, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris did what Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer had been doing for months, and what she did was push the idea that racism is the cause for, for example, blacks having a disproportionate amount of death related to COVID-19, and the problem was said to be racism, such as in the medical community [Note: See the last few editions of T.H.A.T. to learn about Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's evil themes about her feelings of so-called racism in the medical community.]. U.S. Senator Kamala Harris said--"...And let's be clear--there is no vaccine for racism. We've gotta do the work....". By the way, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer created racism task forces and such for Michigan, so what task force (of shitty people, such as socialists) would U.S. Senator Kamala Harris create?
Here is another topic focusing rotten blacks, and the topic of this paragraph may or may not have gotten television coverage, but it did get press coverage, such as by the Detroit Free Press (Stitt, Chanel. "Wayne State is blasted for love Black enrollment." Detroit Free Press, August 14, 2020, p. 3A.). By the way, I went to Wayne State University in the 1970s. On Thursday, August 13, 2020, such black persons as the Reverend Horace L. Sheffield II and Malik Shabazz, both of whom I have shown up in the past to be screw-ups or screw-up blacks, took part in a press conference in which they were angry that Wayne State University, which is in Detroit, which is about 80-percent black, did not have more black students. Here is a portion of the article in the Detroit Free Press--"...As of February 2020, Wayne State reported that Black students make up 14% of its enrollment. 'This is a university that's in the heart of the city,' the Rev. Horace L. Sheffield III, executive director of the Detroit Association of Black Organizations, said at a news conference Thursday. 'It one time was a Black-serving, minority-serving institution. It no longer is, which means that less than 21% of its student body is made up of African Americans or minority students.' Especially troubling, he said, is the low enrollment of students from the Detroit Public Schools Community District and Black community leaders are calling on WSU President Roy Wilson to find solutions....". The article ended with this material---"...Shabazz [Malik Shabazz] says that Detroit's Black population of 80% does not have to reflect the enrollment of the university, but he says that should be the goal.". Hold it, screw-ups! In the past, I have shown how many adults in Detroit--more than half--are functionally illiterate and how some forty percent of kids cannot read well. That problem really started to take off in the 1970s. I have in the past reported how I have information that shows that blacks did not want to be taught "whitey" stuff, such as good English, in schools in Detroit in the late 1900s. Starting in the 1960s, the teaching staff of Wayne State University was being pushed not to flunk blacks [and that is information from someone who was in the teaching community during the period), and that--I say--led to crappy black teachers in Detroit schools. It was dummies teaching dummies! So Malik Shabazz and the Reverend Horace L. Sheffield III were out putting pressure on Wayne State University to get more blacks enrolled. I guess the two screw-ups want the standards lowered some more at Wayne State University.
On August 16, 2020, the Detroit Free Press pushed out a story entitled "How to end America's politics of hate" (Smick, David, and Barry Levinson. "How to end America's politics of hate." Detroit Free Press, 16 August 2020, pp. 21A and 22A.), and the main focus of the piece was Stars and Strife, a video documentary, which was, for one, set to be presented on STARZ (the television network) on September 21, 2020, at 9:00 p.m.. Hold it! Hate cannot be removed from the country since there are communists and socialists in the country, especially in the Democratic Party, which is an anti-U.S. Constitution political party. A good person must hate the communist and the socialist because they are killers of societies and good people, as, for one, Venezuela shows. Look as some of the crap in the article--"...We are in the midst of an epidemic of hatred that has left most of us feeling hopeless and exhausted. There are social, cultural and racial explanations for our predicament. But evidence suggests that a feeling of economic humiliation, which manifests as fear and a politics devoid of empathy, is at the core of our divisions..." Bullshit! Communism and socialism are not empathic! Communism and socialism have no ties to empathy. They are focused on violence and corruption and not empathy! What the hell is "economic humiliation"? That is something new that communists and socialists are pushing, and, by the way, they are now pushing the idea that Joseph Biden (the Democratic Party candidate for the U.S. presidency) has empathy for the people and U.S. President Donald J. Trump has no empathy. Here is another piece of crap from the article (a piece not based on facts and logic)--"...The American Dream is dying for the average worker, and the middle class is shrinking. At the same time, special interests are increasingly able to rig the economy in their own favor, stockpiling wealth like dragons sitting atop piles of gold. That leaves us susceptible to a hate industry that gains influence by stoking hyper-partisan contempt and division...." That is more bullshit! Before COVID-19 hit and governors, especially Democratic Party-associated governors, shut down states, the economy of the country was going great, such as for blacks and other minorities, as facts about employment show or showed. How can anyone "rig" the economy? The economy goes because of the buying decisions of some 300-million persons--they decide what to buy and what not to buy. You cannot "rig" what people buy, when the number of people is up around 300 million! Here is more bullshit in the article--"...In some respects, our current predicament is not entirely of our own doing. The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the rise of a globalized trade and financial system set the stage for today's climate of economic humiliation....". What the hell does that mean? How did the fall of the Berlin Wall lead to "economic humiliation"? What the hell is "economic humiliation" and what the hell does it have to do with anything? And the article had this piece of thought (phony thought)--"...Gene Sperlin, former economic adviser to President Barack Obama, says economics is about 'the promotion of dignity.'....". What the hell is the theme of economics and "promotion of dignity" mean? It is nonsense! Plus, when the Barack Hussein Obama was the U.S. president, the poverty rate went up and participation in the workplace went down and more people got on food stamps, and Barack Hussein Obama pushed the idea that the best days were past for the country. There is more crap in the article. Based on the bits of the article that I have presented, I can say that the Stars and Strife (from writer David Smick) is probably shit and defective and is more socialistic/communistic propaganda. Incidentally, the Detroit Free Press would not promote the documentary as something good to see if the documentary was really something pushing more capitalism and less socialism and communism, which is complete control of the economy by government (people not skilled in running businesses and making things).
It was in the fall of 1948 when Detroit Lions football games showed up on television in the Detroit area, showing up on Channel 7, WXYZ-TV, and the 1948 season had some away games and some home games for viewers, which were sponsored by Goebel Brewing (a beer-making company). The 1949 and 1950 seasons had no games on television locally. From 1951 to the early 1960s, viewers only got away games regularly on their television sets, and viewers got no pre-season games. In 1963, pre-season games began to air locally, and pre-season games aired regularly, such as on WJBK-TV (Channel 2), all the way up to this season. This year, no pre-season Detroit Lions football games got shown on television, when COVID-19 was around and when a lot of professional football players were known to be full of shit--blacks and whites. On August 15, 2020, I got a better understanding of how crappy Matthew Stafford (the main quarterback for the Detroit Lions) is through an article in the Detroit Free Press called "Staffords fund social justice program at UGA" (Birkett, Dave. "Staffords fund social justice program at UA." Detroit Free Press, 15 August 2020, p. 5B.). The opening of the article was--"Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is helping to fund a social justice program for athletes at his alma matter. The University of Georgia said in a news release Friday that Stafford and his wife, Kelly, earmarked $350,000 of a larger donation to the school to seed a program designed to 'implement strategic initiatives in the areas of diversity, inclusion, equity and social justice.'....". "Social justice" and "diversity" stuff--It is bullshit, being pushed along by, for example, socialists, and Matthew Stafford is tied to that crap. And that is another dumb football player--a white football player--and he happens to have a crappy wife!
Hey, did your favorite television newscaster, such as the useless Huel Perkins, Devin Scillian, or Carolyn Clifford, give you this information. The Joseph Biden group of communists and socialists and black racists and such have a 110-page document--or manifesto--called Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations available at the website known as "joebiden.com". The document is what the Democratic Party stands for. By the way, on August 20, 2020, Mark R. Levin (of the nationally syndicated radio show called The Mark Levin Show) passed along to listeners only a small amount of the rottenness in the document. The document is hard-line Marxism and communism and socialism and democratic socialism and progressivism and liberalism, and it is a document from people who would stab you in the face with a knife, having the mind sets of Castro, Hitler, Mao, Putin, et cetera. The document is hellish!
Here is an aside. The Detroit Free Press supports the Democratic Party--and, for instance, communism and socialism--but the Detroit Free Press says that it is standing guard for the people "On Guard for 189 Years"--appears of the front page of each edition. Recently, I have seen the same full-page ad in several editions of the newspaper (such as the editions for August 22, 2020, and September 6, 2020). The ad has had four main pieces of text to begin--"Support local Journalism" and "It's never been more important." and "In unprecedented times, our journalists continue to stand on guard to educate, inform and support our communities." and "By subscribing today, you will continue to help us tell the stories that matter most to you.". The ad shows three photographs, the upper one of which shows Black Lives Matter protesters (who look like thugs, such as New Black Panther thugs). Hold it! On August 23, 2020, the newspaper published another bullshit piece (opinion) from the editor and vice president of the Detroit Free Press--Peter Bhatia [whom in the past I have shown to be full of shit]. Here is opening material from the article--"The newspaper industry's failure to do more about diversity is decades old. When I was president of the American Society of Newspaper Editors in 2003-2004 it was an issue. It still is today, nationally and in Detroit. I'm tired of the excuses. This is a time when we really can -- and should -- get something done and build a legacy for the future. We must increase the number of people of color working in our newsrooms to better reflect our communities. And we also must commit to making our overall coverage more equitable and inclusive....". So what? Communists are communists--no matter what the skin color. So it seems Peter Bhatia wants more blacks and such in the newsroom, which means nothing since what he wants is just more communists and just more liars and just more people working to hide real news and just more people to write useless stories. Where is the "diversity" in that? Where is the "inclusion"? Peter Bhatia and the advertisements are working to sell propaganda! Oh, and back on August 4, 2020, the Detroit Free Press reported in a story [Staff reporters. "Free Press to offer digital subscriptions. Detroit Free Press, 4 August 2020, p A.] that noted that digital subscriptions are going to be available starting next week. I say, well aware of what the Detroit Free Press publishes, you will not miss anything by not subscribing. It's a dead issue!
Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
I hope your favorite television newscast reported on the Kevin Clinesmith incident of August 19 2020, and made you understand what the significance is. On that day, Kevin Clinesmith (a former FBI member) pled guilty to having been involved in presenting a false email to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, which resulted in spying on the Donald J. Trump campaign unit under false pretences. That helped lead to several years of rottenness by the Democrats--it was their idea that Donald J. Trump colluded with the Russians in relation on the last election, wich led to their work to impeach Donald J. Trump for no factual reason. Kevin Clinesmith is the first to be held accountable in the corrupt efforts by the Democrats, which included U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama, to keep Donald J. Since I published the previous edition of T.H.A.T., I have become exposed to more freaky people--freaks. Sara Ramirez (who happens to not be white or happens to not be black), who once was a regular performer on Grey's Anatomy, has publicly reported that she is not a woman or not a man. Sara Ramirez says that she is a "nonbinary." That means Sara Ramirez is yet another freak, who gets to be on television. And I have learned the Star Trek franchise is now getting into pushing the "nonbinary" crap in Star Trek: Discovery. Blu del Barrio who calls the self a "nonbinary" is going to play a "nonbinary" called Adira in that spacey series.
On August 19, 2020, I saw the first episode--or a portion of the first episode really--of the animated series called Star Trek: Lower Decks; I watched it on YouTube, after having seen it offered for free. It was unlikeable, and, in fact, it was rather ugly, especially when the attack scene in the cafeteria-like room was presented, which was when I turned off the show. The characters as a rule came off a crass and irritating. Star Trek: Lower Decks is something to miss, though it will probably do well because enough lousy viewers exist today to keep it on the air.
Hey, I have to show up a shitty professional football coach! On August 29, 2020, Pete Carroll--a shitty white guy and a coach in the NFL (for the Seattle Seahawks, which exists in a city that has had weeks of rioting by Democrats) presented thoughts from his mind in a video presentation, and a good portion of the talk can be found through a video on YouTube entitled "Pete Carroll Speaks on Social Justice | 2020 Training Camp August 29th Press Conference" (which runs about 14 minutes and a half). Before seeing that video, I saw a shortened version, which covered around four minutes of the opening of the long version, and I say that the four minutes was four minutes of rambling and uselessness and a big waste of time. In the longer video, Pete Carroll pushed out such crap as--the football players--especially the black players--are living in fear if they speak their minds and they are living scared to death. Some of Pete Carroll's words were--"...And this is about racism in America. White people don't know. They don't know enough. And they need to be coached up. And they need to be educated about what the heck is gonna on in this world. They ca. The black people can't scream any more. They can't march any more. They can't bear their soles any more to what they've been, to what they've lived with for hundreds of years because white guys came over from Europe started a new coun, country with a great idea and a great ideals and wrote down great, ah, great writings and laws and all of that about democracy and freedom and equality for all. And then it didn't happened. That's not what happened, because we went down this, this other road here. We followed ec, economics and rich, rich white guys making money, and they put together, ah, ah, a system of slavery, and we've never left it really. It's never gone away...." and "......Black people know the truth. They know exactly what's going on. It's white people that don't know. And, ah, it's not that they're not telling us. They've been telling us the story that we know what's right and what's wrong. We just have not been open to listen it. We've been unwilling to, to accept the real history. We've been taught, ah, a false history of what happened in this country. We've been, we've been basing stuff on false premises, and it' has not been about equality for all. It's not been about freedom for all. It's not been about, ah, ah, opportunity for all. It needs to be. Because this, this, this is a humanity issue that we're dealin' with. This, this is a white people's issue to get over it and learn what's going on and to figure it out and start loving everybody that is, that is part of our country...." And this is the crap that you get from a professional-football coach in the United States of American today, and words come from a man full on shit! Pete Carroll is someone to not listen to and not to follow!

In this edition of Television History and Trivia, you have been presented with a bunch of "black crap," and now it is time for more "black" stuff, but not "black crap." In February 1948, what were considered "feature" films--better theatrical films (such as those that were not B-pictures) began to show up on television in Detroit, and such movies first showed up on WWJ-TV, Channel 4. In the fall of 1948, WJBK-TV, Channel 2, went on the air and began to show movies, some of which ere "feature" films, and, in the first year of broadcasting for Channel 2, some films had "black" in the titles. For example, on Thursday, July 28, 1949, the station aired a movie entitled "The Black Doll", which had such performers as Donald Woods, Nan Grey, and Edgar Kennedy. One of the first films shown by Channel 2 was Black Magic, which was shown on Sunday, November 11, 1948. By the way, neither film was about "blacks" or "African Americans." The film called Black Magic mostly took place in France in the 1700s, but it started out in 1848, and the first main scene had an actor called Berry Kroeger (playing Alexandre Dumas Sr.) and an actor named Raymond Burr (playing Alexandre Dumas Jr.), and, in the story, Alexander Dumas Sr. tells the story of a man called Cagliostro (who was a hypnotist). In a way, Cagliostro was a "svengali'-type person, but he was not a "Svengoolie"-type person. By the way, on Saturday evenings, MeTV (a subchannel network) airs the television series called Svengoolie, in which has a guy called Svengoolie showing horror films, and I report that MeTV airs episodes of Perry Mason (a television series that was on CBS-TV from 1957 to 1966), and in seven episodes of Perry Mason, Berry Kroeger played various characters, and Perry Mason was always played by Raymond Burr. Hold it! I am going far afield it seems. Let us get back to the movie. Black Magic is based on a story by Alexandre Dumas, and some of the performers in the movie are Orson Welles, Nancy Gould (who plays two characters), Akim Tamioroff, Frank Latimore, Valentina Cortese, and Margot Grahame. The 1949 film runs about one hour and forty minutes, unlike B-movies that have a tendency to run a little over one hour. I report here that Black Magic is the presentation of my regular feature in T.H.A.T. documents called Looking at the Movies, which is designed to pass along the names of movies that people in the Detroit area saw on television stations in the early days of Detroit television, and the movies were presented by the stations and not through the stations by television networks, such as NBC-TV, which began to show really big budget movies (which had already been shown in movie theaters) in the fall on 1961, as part of NBC Saturday Night at the Movies. To see something different, I urge you to see Black Magic soon as part of a Looking at the Movies presentation, maybe on Sunday evening, when normally at this time of year, you might watch football, such as on NBC-TV, which has evolved into a clearly socialistic television network since the 1940s, airing mostly crappy television series today. Black Magic is available through YouTube, as is "The Black Doll".
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often and usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
