Announcement

To all "liberals" and "communists" and "socialists"
and "fascists" and "Shariaists," I state--I promote hate toward
Barack Hussein Obama (a killer), all Democrats, most
of the high-level people in the Republican Party, and people
who are tied to Islamic law or Sharia and Allah
(the piece of shit idea created by men).  One reason for
that is they support the "Shared Responsibility Payment."  It is
a federal tax on people for not buying federal-government
approved health-care insurance and
for not helping to pay for other people's health
care, such as foreigners who are illegal aliens (whether or not
they are children) and defects of nature like Caitlyn Jenner who
want to change their outward appearance from one sex type to
another sex type.  I do not pay for others who do not care
for themselves, especially under threat, coming for rotten
politicians.  It is not my "responsibility" to promote and support
rottenness!  A good person must learn the skill to hate on
demand to protect the self.  Hate is power to destroy
rottenness and rotten people fully.  Learn the skill!

- - - Travel Thoughts for Everyone - - -

Well, I have a story to tell you that is different.  I take you back to around January 28, 2003.  On that date, a popular tourist attraction and museum in the State of Michigan was The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village, a name that had been around for decades.  On January 28, 2003, the president of The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village was Steve Hamp, and that was the day that the name of the tourist attraction was getting a new name, something that was announced by Steve Hamp.  Hold it!  Let me back up.  Before January 28, 2003, came and the new name was announced, I had learned about the new name, and I had written the museum management to report that I believe the new name was bad--for one, it is a name that could not be "sold" well, such as in radio announcements; at the time, I was working in the broadcast area for AAA Michigan, and one of my jobs involved promoting museums and tourist attractions in radio reports.  What was the new name going to be?  It was going to be--"The Henry Ford: America's Greatest History Attraction."  Think about the name.  It is a long name.  If you only pushed the short name for the entity--"The Henry Ford"--people would not really understand what it was, given people had become used to "The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village" name.  I reported to the museum management that the change in name was a dumb idea.  I even reported that a better name would be "The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village Complex."  The museum staff was working to make the name reflect more of what their place was (which was the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village and a bit more), and that was why they had come up with "The Henry Ford: America's Greatest History Attraction."  Well, since 2003, the part known as "America's Greatest History Attraction" has gotten almost no promotion, and, really, only "The Henry Ford" has been pushed.  "The Henry Ford" is a vague term (and, today, a lot young persons probably know not that Greenfield Village is with the Henry Ford museum).  On Monday, January 23, 2017, the operators of "The Henry Ford" announced that the museum complex was getting a new name.  The new name is the "Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation."  I say that that is better than the previous name was, but I can say that most people will probably only call it the "Henry Ford Museum" regularly.  Of course, that means the idea of a complex with the "Henry Ford Museum" and "Greenfield Village" and will not be regularly promoted.  I still like "The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village Complex."  "The Henry Ford Museum"--officially, "The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation"--is located in Dearborn (of Wayne County in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan).  Incidentally, I bet the decision to change the name went through some long process, involving a study committee and a voting process and involving people who have no idea how to promote something well through, for instance, radio and television commercials.  Oh, well!  Hey, tell a friend--We're to "The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation" tomorrow.  That probably will not happen.  I bet you will say--Tomorrow, we're going to The Henry Ford Museum.  What has happened to Greenfield Village?

Warning announcement!  Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips.  The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islam law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law."  Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining  business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia."  When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" and "Islamic Law" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion and killing under the face of religion).  By the way, a society based on "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping that ideas of the society based of ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders, whose main purpose is too keep themselves enriched through  the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really.  Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.

If you see the main page for The Hologlobe Press, you will see that I note that I am a historian in a number of subjects.  Recently, I added another subject to the list, and that subject is The Joseph S. Fay, which was a ship on the Great Lake from July 1871 to October 1905.  That ship was ship that was used to move such things in bulk as coal, iron ore, wheat, corn, and ice from place to place.  Some people think the ship was only used to move iron ore.  I recently tracked down old stories about the ship, and I now have a document about the ship, a version of which will now be available to staffers of the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse Society, which watches over a lighthouse-type music on a day-to-day basis.  The lighthouse is "40 Mile Point Lighthouse" (and originally called "40 Mile Point Light Station") and is located along Lake Huron (on the Michigan side) about seven miles north of Rogers City (of Presque Isle County of the Lower Peninsula).  In a way, the lighthouse, which is yet a "working light" on the Great Lakes that is ultimately controlled by the U.S. Coast Guard, is part of a museum complex, and some parts of the complex are a fog signal building and a gift shop (the gift-shop building originally was a place for the makers of the lighthouse to live in 1896 and 1897).  In 1905, The Joseph S. Fay was destroyed in a storm, and, today, on the beach near the lighthouse are some ruins of The Joseph S. Fay.  Also near the lighthouse--but out in the water--are more pieces of The Joseph S. Fay.  The next time you go to the museum complex, you might learn more about the ship from the "guest lighthouse keepers" (or guides) than you would have in the past--if they spend the time to look at the new document that I have made, which will be available to them.  Here I will tell you a few things.  The Joseph S. Fay was considered a "steam barge."  At the very least, you should be able to determine through the description the ship was steam powered and had a propeller.  That would be a correct determination.  The "barge" part might lead you in the wrong direction about the ship.  Basically, "barge" only referred to the idea that it carried materials.  The idea of "Barge" was not like what you know a barge to be today--a flat non-self-powered floating thing.  The Joseph S. Fay also had two masts for sails.  In addition, it was commonplace for the steam-powered vessel to pull a "barge" along on trips to move materials.  Here we go again.  The "barge" was usually The D.P. Rhodes.  That vessel was a non-powered sailing ship really (officially, a schooner), which had masts for sails.  To be able to move more material per trip, The Joseph S. Fay pulled The D.P. Rhodes, and both vessels carried cargo.  In the late 1800s, some newspapers carried a lot of information about the moving of ships on the Great Lakes, and a "steam barge" might also be called a "propeller" in stories or listings, such as when a ship came in to port to unload; for instance, a story might--"Propellers J.S. Fay and M.A. Bradley came in to port here this morning.".  Sometimes writers of newspaper material used the word "props" instead of "propellers" (resulting in, for example, "Props  J.S. Fay and M.A. Bradley came in to port here this morning.").   In the late 1800s and very early 1900s, The Joseph S. Fay was a ship in the "Bradley" fleet of ships, which was controlled by Mr. M.A. Bradley (who had no direction relation to Carl D. Bradley and the "Bradley" fleet of the 1900s, which had ties to the calcite mine at Rogers City).  Mr. M.A. Bradley had a ship with his name--The M.A. Bradley--on the Great Lakes for a while, and M.A. Bradley was the son of Alva Bradley, who started up the "Bradley" fleet in the middle of the 1800s, and M.A. Bradley had a son named Alva Bradley, who in the early part of the middle of the 1900s was one of the owners of the Cleveland Indians baseball team.  Before "steam barges" showed up, all the ships on the Great Lakes had been sailing ships with sails, such as "sloops" (an example of which exists today as a replica at Mackinaw City, though in storage--a ship called The Welcome, which people are hoping to have in a museum in the future).  From roughly Memorial Day weekend to early October, the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse museum complex is open to visitors, and, there, you can see what remains of The Joseph S. Fay, either by going to the beach or going out in the nearby water (of Lake Huron).

    Enjoy your traveling in Michigan!

    Stay well!

P.S. #1: Remember: While you travel in Michigan, remind your children or grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any politician or sing the praises of Barack Obama, and to help you remember other matters that you should teach children about bad politicians, such as Barack Obama (who can be described as an "enslave"), see such other documents of mine as Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means (which can be reached through this link: Conservatism) and Lessons for Children about Politics and Dangerous People (which can be reached through this link: Children).  (Note: I first passed along the subject of not being a "servant to Obama" and the like in the publication entitled T.H.A.T. #58, which can be reached through this link: T.H.A.T. #58.)

P.S. #2: While you travel in Michigan, it is easy to come across evidence of rotten people or to meet rotten people. One really rotten man is Richard Bernstein, who is a new member to the Supreme Court for the State of Michigan.  Evidence of his rottenness can be found in my document entitled Richard Bernstein--A Man Who Hopes You Are Blind to His Rottenness, which can be reached through this Bernstein link.  Yet, on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Richard Bernstein to sell Richard Bernstein as something good, though he is not (Ahern, Louise Knott.  "State's 1st blind justice aims to be inspiration."  Detroit Free Press, 12 January 2014, p. 4A.).  I report--I urge anyone who runs a business and loses a court case in which Richard Bernstein was one of the presiding judges to file to have the decision thrown out or killed through another case, since Richard Bernstein, while running to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, made it clear that he was going to be biased against businesses if he were to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, and that is a fact.  Richard Bernstein is a rotten man!
