I start out this edition of Michigan Travel Tips with something that you can talk about with others while taking a drive in Michigan, such as to a wonderful vacation spots. It is better to talk about some things than to sit around playing while an iPod or something else, especially for children, who should sort of be forced to look around them while they travel, especially on long distances, to understand the size of the world in which they live. On Friday, March 13, 2015, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore (a Democrat, a.k.a. communist) was in Austin, Texas, far from his big estate, and he gave a speech before those who were attending the South by Southwest Festival. One of this main topcs was manmade-globe climate change, which he has hinted is destorying the world, and at the event, he got on to the idea that using of carbon has to be stopped or limited a lot. By the way, the manmade-global-climate-changed idea that says that man is destroying the Earth and will kill the Earth beyond repair in only a few years is a hoax--proven by real scientists. Al Gore said that people who deny the manmade-global climate change idea [hoax] need to be punished, saying "...we need to put a price on denial in politics...." [Mellino, Cole. "Al Gore at SXSW: We need to 'Punish Climate-Change Deniers' and "Put a Price on Carbon'." EcoWatch, 15 March 2015, 10:37 a.m.]. The words are clearly the words of a man who is an "enslavist" who pushes "enslavism" (which is a word that is related to communism and socialism and Sharia and other forms of rotten government). Based on a hoax, Al Gore was working to raise support for punishing those persons who will not take up the lie about climate change and will not follow the ways of the liars--he wants to do harm to others. That does not surprise me, because "enslavists" are persons who like--if not love--to hurt others.
Although the buildings and structures still exit, the Northland Mall (Southfield, Michigan) is done and gone, closed. The Northland Mall was the first "mall" in the United States of America. And that is that.
Before I take you to a place to see in Michigan, and I have to talk about--once again--a place that is not so good, and it is the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan), and this is paragraph is editorial commentary with fact. Several days before this edition of Michigan travel tips would be published on the Internet, there was a proposed event to show a movie called American Sniper at the university, but about 300 persons protested, saying, for one, the main character in the movie is a bigot against Muslims, and the showing was canceled, and then public pressure soon got the day for the showing reinstated, but the showing would have to coincide with the showing of Paddington, another movie elsewhere on campus. Yes, if you want to show a pro-American movie at the University of Michigan, you have to show a counter-idea-type movie at the same time, and if you want to show an anti-American movie on campus, such as a communistic-based movie, you do not have to counter that with a pro-American movie at the same time. That is some rottenness that lives under the surface of the University of Michigan, and you should remember that while you travel in Michigan.
Some of the seasonal tourist attractions in Michigan are open or are about to open for the tourism season, and one that has recently opened for the season is New Buffalo Railroad Museum, which was opened on April 3, 2015, and it will be open daily through the tourism season and a little beyond, closing on December 30, 2015. New Buffalo is a city that is located a little more than one-mile north of the Illinois/Michigan line in Berrien County of the Lower Peninsula, and the museum is actually located about one north of the I-94/Exit 1 interchange along South Whittaker Road (at 530 South Whittaker Road). Hey! There is no admission charge any day! The New Buffalo Railroad Museum, which was established in 1989, is housed in a replica of a Pere Marquette Railroad Depot. The Pere Marquette Railroad was the name of a railroad that once existed in, for instance, southwestern Lower Michigan, and the name would change over the years, such as to the Chesapeake & Ohio. At the museum is a model railroad display, using HO-scale train materials and such, that depicts the Pere Marquette Railroad yards of the New Buffalo area of the 1920s or so. The goal of the museum is to depict the world of railroad in the New Buffalo area over the 19th century and 20th century, and the museum contains all sorts of items, from books to brakeman oil lanterns, for visitors to see. There are big items, too. The museum has one of the roughly 2,400 "Troop Sleeper Cars" that were made by the Pullman Company to move military personal in the country during World War II, and the museum also has a "C&O" (railroad) box car, which was acquired for the museum in 1990. To see what else the museum has, you have to see it when it is open between noon and 5:00 p.m. each day during this tourism season.
Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islam law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" and "Islamic Law" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion and killing under the face of religion). By the way, a society based of "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping that ideas of the society based of ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders, whose main purpose is too keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.
On March 24, 2015, the Detroit Free Press pushed out--pushed out--an article that worked to sell the idea that tourism is expected to grow in Michigan this year [Creager, Ellen. "Mich. tourism expected to grow again this year." Detroit Free Press, 24 March 2015, pp. 3A and 7A.]. In the previous edition of Michigan Travel Tips, I showed how the amount of traffic at the Mackinac Bridge went down from 2013 to 2014--fewer travelers used the bridge in 2014 than had in 2013. In addition, in the past, through a number of editions of Michigan Travel Tips, I have noted how the amount of traffic at the Mackinac Bridge has been continually going down a bit from year to year recently. The article in the Detroit Free Press noted that--"...Michigan's tourism outlook is no blockbuster, but volume should grow 1.5% this year, with tourism spending up 2.5% and prices up 3%, Michigan State University tourism researchers told the Pure Michigan Governor's Conference on Touirism on Monday. Meanwhile, 2014 also saw tourism growth despite an unusually cold, wet spring and fall--6% colder and 11% wetter than normal, said Sarah Nicholls, MSU associate professor of tourism. Bad weather usually keeps tourism home...." Oh, the artricle sound like it was written by a communist or had communists involved. See this (which was later in the article)--"...This year, the 'haves'--those Michigan families doing well economically--should be even more comfortable spending money on travel in our state this year, said Dan McCole, assistant professor of tourism. And the 'have-nots,' those who are less economically secure? They still are not forecast to travel much, although Michigan does have many low-cost tourism options like camping and recreation...." ["Haves" and "have-nots"--those are words pushed by communists and other rotten-type people, who are jealous of others and work to take away what others have to make themselves feel better or make it so that the others cannot be seen high in stature in society for their work done]. I do not trust the prediction presented in the article. Or at least I do not trust the prediction for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan tourist attractions, given I have true information--and not predictions--about what the amount traffic at the Mackinac Bridge has been for a number of years, and it has not been up. I have to keep in mind the newspaper article comes from a communistic-based newspaper--Detroit Free Press--which regularly publishes rotten stories and lies, such as about global warming and pay for women (on March 26, 2015, the Detroit Free Press published a story entitled "State jobless rate lowest in 14 years" [Bomey, Nathan, and John Gallagher. "State jobless rate lowest in 14 years." Detroit Free Press, 26 March 2015, pp. 1A and 6A/], and the article pushed out the idea that the jobless rate is now "5.95%," but I know that information is a lie, since it is based on federal-government figures, which the federal government has been falsely calculating for at least several years to make it seem the economy is better than it really is). I also have to keep in mind that Michigan State University is at least a socialistic entity, as I have shown in the past in some writings of my available at the website for The Hologlobe Press, and the old rule is--Communists and such lie, since lying is considered acceptable to reach the goals of an enslavism society with a powerful--if not all-powerful--federal government. Within the next year, through at least one edition of Michigan Travel Tips, I will report on the amount of traffic that has used the Mackinac Bridge over some months, and we shall see what we shall see.

P.S. #2: While you travel in Michigan, it is easy to come across evidence of rotten people or to meet rotten people. One really rotten man is Richard Bernstein, who is a new member to the Supreme Court for the State of Michigan. Evidence of his rottenness can be found in my document entitled Richard Bernstein--A Man Who Hopes You Are Blind to His Rottenness, which can be reached through this Bernstein link. Yet, on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Richard Bernstein to sell Richard Bernstein as something good, though he is not (Ahern, Louise Knott. "State's 1st blind justice aims to be inspiration." Detroit Free Press, 12 January 2014, p. 4A.). I report--I urge anyone who runs a business and loses a court case in which Richard Bernstein was one of the presiding judges to file to have the decision thrown out or killed through another case, since Richard Bernstein, while running to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, made it clear that he was going to be biased against businesses if he were to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, and that is a fact. Richard Bernstein is a rotten man!
