- - - Travel Thoughts for Everyone - - -

Somewhat recently, Americans were learning that the federal government was using "drones" (unmanned flying crafts, not like those used in war areas to spy in enemies) to spy on Americans, and when some Americans heard about the news they were outraged.  It seems though the federal government has not stopped using drones to look over areas of the United States of America, but the federal government has run into a temporary block in trying to really get lot of drones in to the air that can be used to spy on Americans.  Well, on Sunday, December 1, 2013, the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos (who is a big supporter of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party (which is a political party that is pushing an enslavism form of government for the country, such as that with ties to communism and Sharia)), made public his idea about having a package-delivery service that uses "drones" on 60 Minutes (in an interview with Charlie Rose, who is a pusher of enslavism for the country--a one-party system run by rotten people, like communists).  The proposed package-delivery system was being called "Prime Air," and it was being designed to have packages that weighed less than ten pounds delivered to customers by air, using drones, and Jeff Bezos noted that the drones--"octocopters"--would be, in essence, environmentally friendly since they would be electric.  I say that the idea that the delivery system would be environmentally friendly is nonsense, and the whole idea is troubling.  First, it will take trains and cars and trucks and airplanes and boats to move packages from construction places (from all over the world) to the pick-up points for the drones, and to carry packages, the drones will have to be charged up with electricity that will come from some type of generating sources, and it will take a lot of energy to move the drones in a system that would be profitable enough to pay off all the equipment that will be needed to get the drones in the air and keep them flying regularly.  By the way, the system will have a pilot, who will be stuck in some room or cubical, to fly each drone, and that is an expense, and the pilots will have to get to work through cars and trucks and whatever.  Second, other problems with the system are (1) drones can fall from the sky and cause damage to people or property (and that means there could be court cases), (2) packages could get damage on delivery, (3) people could shoot down the slow flying drones (such as for fun), and (4) the skies could get cluttered with these drones (in a system that could pay off or be profitable).  By the way, could the system operate in snow storms and rain storms?  What I really see as troubling is these drones can right from the start be used to carry cameras that can be used by the federal government to spy on Americans and track what Americans do, such as to fine them later or put them in jail later (especially for nonsense rules or laws, created by the Environmental Protection Agency of the federal government, which is now run by communists).  Remember: Each drone will have to have a camera on it so that the pilot can fly it.  I say that Jeff Bezos has a lot of money and can waste it on setting up a system involving drones, and I can see that he is starting up the process of getting drones in to the hands of the federal government; if the business venture were to fail--and to me, it seems very likely it will (though it could get tax breaks to keep it afloat, which means the American citizens pay to keep it going)--the federal government could end up with the system, such as through purchase, and run it (by the way, Jeff Bezos's company could get tax breaks for "business losses").  While driving around Michigan, you may think that the federal government is giving up on acquiring drones (in a system that would be the envy of dictators in a totalitarian society), since you do not see and or have not seen any, but I say that your understanding of what is really going on could be wrong, and while you travel in Michigan today, think again.

Advertisement: The commercial in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips urges you to get a copy of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which is a book written by Mark R. Levin.  This book will help you understand better what Barack Obama is--a man who is purposely hurting the country, even though he is the president of the country--but the book is really about enslavers--politicians--who do not believe in the values of The U.S. Constitution and how The U.S. Constitution is designed to limit the power of the government, especially a person who wishes to be a dictator, over the individual (the citizen).  Remember: In the United States of America, it is the individuals who own the government and not the government that owns the citizens, the latter of which is what Barack Obama wants and is pushing for.

If Jeff Bezos really wanted a mail system that is environmentally friendly as possible, he should take up using gliders--Gliders have no engines and gliders give off no exhaust.

That reminds me, during World War II, gliders were used in Europe to move soldiers and their military equipment to positions that were within or behind enemies lines (especially those of the Germans), and the "CG4A" (or "CG-4A") was one type of glider.  These gliders were towed up in to the sky over, for instance, England, and pilots flew them to places in France, where the craft did not always have great landings (each glider only had one chance to land well).  Today, a person can see what a CG4A looks like by going to a museum in Greenville (of Montcalm County of the Lower Peninsula).  The CG4A is not an original glider used in World War II--it is a replica, which has been built over a period of several years by people who are involved in the museum, which is called "The Fighting Falcon Museum."  The glider is indeed a true replica, being about 48-feet long and 83 wide (from wing tip to wing tip).  Besides having the CG4A, the museum has displays, and some of the items are military uniforms and weapons.  It is too bad that the museum is not open more days than it is--the museum is only open on Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. from roughly May to Veterans Day (November 11).

    Hold it--I see a problem.

Promotional announcement: The Landmark Legal Foundation is made up of lawyers, such as Mark R. Levin (of The Mark Levin Show, a nationally syndicated radio show), who fight in court cases against those who do not uphold The U.S. Constitution and the rule of law for the country, and the Landmark Legal Foundation fights for the rights of the individual and against Marxists, communists, and the like.  In this day and age when Barack Obama, who, I am convinced, has a truly highly ill mind, is going against the rules of the country while pursuing a goal--I believe--to hurt the country and remake it or destroy it, I believe the Landmark Legal Foundation needs your help desperately; for example, retired lawyers who want to protect the country should consider donating time to helping the Landmark Legal Foundation.  I urge you to avoid making any donations to entities that promote manmade global warming or climate change and make a donation to the Landmark Legal Foundation instead (by the way, you should look into supporting the Heritage Foundation).

Early in this story, I reported that the CG4A was a glider and had to towed up in to the air so that it could be flown, such as to battle sites during World War II, and that means powered airplanes had to be used to get the gliders up in the air, though there were some fuel savings by using the gliders since the gliders used no power to get to their destinations once they were let go in the air.  In addition, the gliders can only be used once on a single lift off, and to use one again, it has to be retrieved from the first destination site and taken aloft again to make another delivery.  I guess the federal government will have to forget about using gliders to spy on the American public on a regular basis, and the federal government will just have to use "drones," such as those being proposed by Jeff Bezos.  In the meantime, keep your eyes to the skies, unless you are driving--then keep your eyes on the road.

And enjoy your traveling in Michigan.

P.S.: Understand what rottenness Jeff Bezos can be and can promote.

    Stay well!

    Victor

P.S. #1: Remember: While you travel in Michigan, remind your children or grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any politician or sing the praises of Barack Obama, and to help you remember other matters that you should teach children about bad politicians, such as Barack Obama (who can be described as an "enslaver"), see such other documents of mine as Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means (which can be reached through this link: Conservatism) and Lessons for Children about Politics and Dangerous People (which can be reached through this link: Children).  (Note: I first passed along the subject of not being a "servant to Obama" and the like in the publication entitled T.H.A.T. #58, which can be reached through this link: T.H.A.T. #58.)
