I open by noting that, when you finish reading this edition of Michigan Travel Tips or before you read this edition of Michigan Travel Tips, you should see my document entitled The "Benghazi Killings Scandal": A Short Information-and-Status Report, which can be reached by using this Benghazi link. The document, which is about the killings of Americans in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012, will show you that Barack Obama did nothing to save the lives of the Americans who were under attack (the attackers were Islamic terrorists) and showed no real concern about the Americans, one of whom as a U.S. ambassador (who was killed in the attack), such as by later in the day asking what was the status of any rescue mission. Only a U.S. President can order U.S. soldiers to cross the border in to another country, such as on a rescue mission or attack mission, and Barack Obama never gave any order. The American people have yet to learn what Barack Obama was doing during the attack in Benghazi, which lasted about seven hours, and where Barack Obama was (maybe on a illegal-drug trip, making him indisposed, for all we know). Right now, every American must realize Barack Obama is a man who has the fortitude and guts and heartlessness and coldness to not--not--send U.S. rescue teams to the aid of Americans under attack in a foreign country, such as at a U.S. embassy or a U.S. consulate (which are, in essence, considered U.S. soil). I say--"We have a killer in the White House!" I will not stand down from the statement!

Wow! The economy is getting better, and everything is improving. Not!
Let me look at Ferndale, Michigan, a town with a lot of supporters of Barack Obama (an enslavist, who, for one, practices thugism and is a perpetual liar), and that means there are a lot of supporters of "enslavism" in Ferndale. On the main block of downtown--Nine Mile Road between Woodward Avenue and Planavon Street--there are stores and little restaurants (or cafes), and of the group of stores, two businesses are tattoo parlors and two are vitamin stores and several are little dress shops and one is a bank branch and two are income-tax-help businesses and one is a guitar store and one is a dance club-like place and one is a martial-arts-type place and one is a music store with old records (which opened up recently) and one is devoted to gays and lesbians, and the block has is a little massage/spa place, a hair salon, a nail place, and a few other little places. Oh, another music store with records, which has been around for years, recently closed down. Oh, boy, within the last two-months or so, one of those dollar-type stores--called "Dollar Castle"--closed down. By the way, you know a downtown is in trouble when you have two tattoo places and a dollar-type store closes down. And there are some empty buildings.
Advertisement: The commercial in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips urges you to get a copy of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which is a book written by Mark R. Levin. This book will help you understand better what Barack Obama is--a man who is purposely hurting the country, even though he is the president of the country--but the book is really about enslavers--politicians--who do not believe in the values of The U.S. Constitution and how The U.S. Constitution is designed to limit the power of the government, especially a dictatorship, over the individual (the citizen). Remember: In the United States of America, it is the individuals who own the government and not the government that owns the citizens, the latter of which is what Barack Obama wants and is pushing for.
Since I published the previous edition of Michigan Travel Tips, people of Detroit have become happier it seems because there was a pledge of some 25-million dollars from the federal government to help construct a mass-transit-like train in Detroit, such as between the downtown area and the New Center area along Woodward Avenue, and I say that the mass-transit-like train is a lot of nonsense and will probably be a thing that is a waste of money for years to come. People in Detroit are under the impress that, when you build a road or a train system, it sparks the economy, or it can be said that people in Detroit think that building roads sparks economic growth. That is idiot thought! Roads are the result of economic growth. While an economy or community grows--because people are doing things, as happened in, for example, the early 1900s for Detroit--there comes a need for more roads or improved roads. Building a road does not change the culture of a place, or building a road does not lead to people doing for themselves and not expecting that they should be cared for by the federal government, such as by getting paid to do nothing. Like Amtrak, the mass-transit-like train will be another thing that will have to be subsidized for years to come. By the way, within the last couple years, many parts of Woodward Avenue were repaved, and it looks as if in the near future, some of that new concrete and such will get torn up--a waste of money.
That is enough of the nonsense of Detroit, and it is time to get way from the nonsense for a while. On the other side of the state, near Lake Michigan, is Benton Harbor (of Berrien County of the Lower Peninsula), where, incidentally, my grandfather on my mother's side was the half owner of a hardware store (Empire Hardware) for a while in the 1960s and early 1970s, till Benton Harbor, because of a crumbling culture, fell apart. A little ways from downtown Benton Harbor proper is a placed called Mary's City of David, which came about through the work of Christians, such as in the early 1900s. The place was a Christian community, something that, it seems, would irritate Barack Obama, who is a bigger support of Sharia than Christianity, especially since he has worked to hurt Christians through the passing of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. In 1997, a museum and a gift shop were opened at Mary's City of David, and visitors can find much to see there today. The museum proper is in what is called Mary's Auditorium, and, of course, the museum is designed to recount the history of the City of David community. Only some of the other things to see are a 1920s print shop, a 1930s mechanic's garage, and a 1940s farm tractor. On the grounds is the Gate of Prayer Synagogue, which was built in 1937 and 1938 and was set up for jewish guests from Chicago. When Mary's City of David is open to visitors, there is a low-cost admission (which was, for example, $1.00 last summer). I have found that it is hard to see many things on one day when doing long-distance vacationing, but I can say that, on the same day, a person could see Mary's City of David and then head north in the state to Allendale, where a museum called the "Engine House #5 Museum" exists. The museum was once a fire house that existed at Grand Rapids (of Kent County of the Lower Peninsula) from about 1880 to 1981. As a museum, after having been moved, was opened up in 1987. Two attractions at the Engine House #5 Museum are an 1877 Babcock Chemical Wagon (which was used to transport water to fires and was operated by having firemen mix acid with alkali soda to produce a pressure that could move water through hoses) and a 1921 La France Engine. Both the Engine House #5 Museum and Mary's City of David are places that children should see so that they learn how people of the past did work, such as with machines, like a 1920s drill press and a linotype machine, that created things and helped lead to what the country is today--the people were not simply given money, such as through welfare checks, to make communities grow.
Promotional announcement: The Landmark Legal Foundation is made up of lawyers, such as Mark R. Levin (of The Mark Levin Show, a nationally syndicated radio show), who fight in court cases against those who do not uphold The U.S. Constitution and the rule of law for the country, and the Landmark Legal Foundation fights for the rights of the individual and against Marxists, communists, and the like. In this day and age when Barack Obama, who, I am convinced, has a truly highly ill mind, is going against the rules of the country while pursuing a goal--I believe--to hurt the country and remake it or destroy it, I believe the Landmark Legal Foundation needs your help desperately; for example, retired lawyers who want to protect the country should consider donating time to helping the Landmark Legal Foundation. I urge you to avoid making any donations to entities that promote manmade global warming or climate change and make a donation to the Landmark Legal Foundation instead (by the way, you should look into supporting the Heritage Foundation).
I have to close with more commentary. While you are traveling around Michigan, you are very likely to see school buildings, such as for elementary schools and high schools. It is possible a particular school that you see has an armed person on patrol when the school is open. Many schools do not. Certainly, you have heard people suggest recently that all schools in the country should have at least one armed person on patrol, which would cost millions and millions of dollars to operate. When you do come across a school, keep in mind that, if a potential killer really wants to complete a mission and wants to do harm to people in the school and if the school has at least one armed person on patrol, it is very likely that a potential killer will now come to learn who the armed person is, detect where the armed person is, kill the armed person first, and then go about doing other shooting--it means a little more planning from now on. In the future, potential killers will know to target people on patrol first, which means it is very likely every shooting at a school will lead to a death of at least one armed person on patrol. Shootings in school like the type that happened at Newtown, Connecticut, recently are very, very rare events, and it seems a lot of money is now going to be spent on what will be another failed plan to stop what cannot be stopped by government.
I add this special note. On Wednesday, February 6, 2013, a telephone caller to the nationally syndicated radio show called The Mark Levin Show was talking with Mark Levin, and the caller noted that, near where he lives, two gasoline stations are still open but they no longer sell gas, and Mark Levin noted that, in communities, there can be taxes on gross receipts, and if the price of gas goes up in such communities--and, by the way, gas stations make very little profit on selling gas--the gas stations end up stuck with more taxes to pay for, though they have had no real increases in profits to help pay the taxes, so they stop selling gasoline. Such crap the United States of America is becoming because of Barack Obama, all the other Democrats (who support an enslavism form of government and not The United States of America), and a few Republicans (actually Democrats in ideology) in government. So many politicians have lost sight of reality and life and do not for a moment really think about what will be the results of what they are doing--killing a country! Get ready for death--the soon-to-come idiocy of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, enacted through the stroke of a pen by an insane man and a traitor to the country--Barack Hussein Obama--and upheld by others traitors, such as Supreme Court Justice John Roberts. Soon, you will come to hate this country, if you do not already! And for the first time in history, millions of good Americans are going to hate this country, and you will see their faces while traveling in Michigan soon, if not already.
Incidentally, many politicians who call themselves Republicans--who sold out the country and did not fight against the Democrats, especially their devilish and hideous Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010--are going to find out that hate will not only be focused at all the Democrats when the horror comes but also on them, and that is a rule of life and one of the "Rules of Man."
