Hey, a new year is here, and I expect it to featuare more crap on television, even broadcast television, since we are in the days of "ugly" television.  Generally speaking, broadcast television has three main periods.  The first period is from the 1940s to the 1970s, and it was a time when niceness and happiness were commonplace in shows and in the host of shows, and shows of the period that exist today on tape or film--those that were put to film in some form (such as through the kinescope progress)--prove the case.  Today, people are watching television shows from the 1940s and 1970s, such as on YouTube, and, by the way, people are regularly watching movies from the 1920s to the 1970s, because the movies were rarely ugly.  The 1980s-and-1990s period was a transition period for television in the country, and it was when people had nostalgia for the past, which is why a bunch of made-for-TV movies were broadcast that were based on old series (such as Perry Mason, Leave It to Beaver, Gilligan's Island, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and The Wild, Wild West), and viewers were given such programs as Matlock, Father Dowling Mysteries, and Murder, She Wrote.  The third period of television began--roughly--at the start of this century, when the rise of ugliness as something regular became commonplace.  The period has offered up such "ugly" prime-time shows on broadcast networks as Ironside (the remake) and Found, both of which I have talked about recently.  Basically, the period has pushed inner-city black culture and black gutter culture as acceptable (which, by the way, has been getting a boost by gangster rap and hip-hop, which are crappy music styles).  It is easy to find "ugly" people--with "ugly"minds"--on television shows, especially on network shows.  For example, ugliness is exhibited every weekday night by such persons hosting late-night talk shows as Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert, and on Saturday night, viewers can see regular ugliness in Saturday Night Live.  Women are often ugly women on the daytime talk shows--network or syndicated shows--and good examples of such women are the women on The View (thanks for which can be bestowed on ugly Barbara Walters, who set the tone for The View), and since the 1980s, viewers have seen ugly women and men on such shows as The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Jerry Springer Show, The Talk, The Ellen Degeneres Show, and The Steve Wilkos Show.  It has become commonplace for game shows to have gutterish hosts or ugly hosts, and they often happen to be black, who push out the inner-city black feel and gutter talk, and some of the ugly people are Steve Harvey, Keke Palmer, Elizabeth Banks, and Michael Strahan, and it seems every first episode of a new game show (the debut episode or the first episode for a new season) has to have a gay or lesbian or freak-of-nature contestant or celebrity.  I have recently talked about the ugliness that exists in cartoon series, especially Krapopolis and Family Guy, the latter of which, for quite some time, has been putting in scenes that push X-rated sexual themes that can be added to by others (with added video material) and made available on the Internet.  The idea of diversity has gone to crap--every show seems to be set up to have one white, one black, one Asian, one Hispanic, one Indian, one Muslim, et cetera, and it is phony casting.  The feminist movement has resulted in every show being set up to have a lead female who can kick butt, and it is phony, and it is ugly, since all the women are youngish and look like models (with no tits), and the women are rarely pleasant and nice (especially in the physical nature of the face, having a bitchy look all the time).  And in relation to the topic of diversity, viewers are basically getting the same shows over and over again in groups of series, examples of which are the shows of the FBI franchise, the Chicago franchise, the Law & Order franchise, and the NCIS franchise.  Plus, viewers have been getting remakes of old series, and the remakes are made with blacks or other ethnic minorities taking over the parts originated or played by white actors, and one example is The Equalizer, and that is really ugly, since the makers are corrupting other's creations to maybe make money and to make socialistic political statements about American society.  In relation to new scripted series, I cannot report the name of one here that is nice and fun--a type that I would want to watch on a date night with some gal, such as a Ema Hayasaka type, and want to feel happy and pleased and not angry and irritated at the end of the presentation, and beyond that, almost every advertisement for a televison series (usually on a streaming service) or for a theatrical movie shown on television presents something that I would not want to see on a date night with a gal whom I want to end up feeling happy about the day, since everything is loud, violent, dark, and in-your-face in nature.  So, those are the three main periods of television in the United States of America, and something like the first period will never come back, because people like those of the first period do not exist in great numbers in the entertainment industry and in the country in general any more, and with televsion getting more divided up--people paying for the streaming services and not going to a few main places for free (which was the way of the broadcast network time of the 1940s to the start of the current century mostly)--and with few nice things being offered freely, great numbers of viewers will not see the same nice things and take up seeing the nice things (if they even know they exist, given television-listings things have all but disappeared in print), which might urge production people to make more nice thngs (based on ratings).  And what will be the next period or the forth period?  There will be none.  There will only be the third period going on and on, and, anyway, it is harder to make fun stuff than angry and mean stuff, especially in a socialistic and communistic environment, and, already, today, way more than half of the people in the country will vote for and put socialists and progressives and communists and Shariaists into political offices--from local offices to national offices--and so the entertainment industry will not go back in time and make nice in great amounts, and so for decades to come, people will still watch the movies and television shows from the 1920s to the 1980s over and over again and from one generation to the next, and much of the stuff from the 1990s to today will often be avoided since the new stuff will do what the avoided stuff was like (and it is like the music industry, where, today, people like, for instance, music of the 1960s and 1970s and 1980s, and that is why such music gets played at sports games, and that idea will not happen in future decades with the rap stuff of recent decades--bad stuff musically and all).  And now this edition of Television History and Trivia looks at what television has been and is these days.

Since I have brought up the topic of "ugly" television, I have to show a recent example of big-time "ugly" television.  Years ago, the broadcast networks put on specials from time to time, especially during the holiday season of the last two months of each year, and true big-name performers took part, and there were musicial extravaganzas that people could enjoy and even sing to a home.  The heyday period was from 1951 to the 1980s, and all sorts of big names could be involved in performing, from Danny Kaye to Frank Sinatra and from Doris Day to Leslie Uggams (a cutie).  Some events were truly filled with a lot of big-deal perfomers, such as the 50-year salute to General Motors (of November 17, 1957).  It was a period when "ugliness" could not be used to describe what was presented on television in a special.
On December 10, 2023, a very ugly presentation was pushed out into the airwaves by CBS-TV, and it was loaded with so-called "stars," some 50 so-called stars, and the event was a 50-year salute to "hip hop."  "Hip hop" is a so-called musical form, and it has promoted the culture of gangs, especially inner-city black gangs, violence, drugs, theft, et cetera, and there have been deaths of performers involved with the so-called music form--killings.  In essence, "hip hop" has promoted as good or worthwhile inner-city gutter culture, especially inner-city gutter black culture.  Basically, it involves bad music and bad singing or no singing; for example, the music often has nothing to do with real instruments, such as high-class "tuned" drums, and persentations involve ugly outfitted people sticking microphones right to their mouths and running off dialogue--especially in yelling form--that cannot easily be understood, and what they do is done while they jump around or wander around on stage.  The presentations are often things that cannot be hummed to, and what music is presented cannot be remembered well and thought about later, such as by running a tune over and over again in the head while doing something, such as laundry.  And a good and smart and honorable person can say that, in fifty years, no one will want to listen to almost all of the hip-hop stuff since it is musically dead, and that is unlike what can be done with music of 30 or 50 or 75 years ago, as is done today.  I have heard "hip hop" tunes just sort of start up out of nowhere and then just end abruptly, never coming together as a whole and complete unit that seems to have covered all the musical bases to make a complete statement, and it is commonplace for such tunes to be tinny and have the same beat--no diversity to beat--throughout.  Hip-hip music is no great thing to celebrate.
Yet, on December 10, 2023, a bunch of people were involved in putting out A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop for two hours.  A few names of some of the performers showed off the nature of what was being so-called celebrated, and, for example, the show had The Lady of Rage and Three 6 Mafia.  I do have to admit that many of the so-called artists I had never heard of before, such as GloRilla, Juvenile, Mo Sha Rock, Talib Kineli, Sppinderella, Black Sheep, Akron, Luniz, Remy Ma, Rakim, and Black Thought, and it seems the special could only attract a very narrow range of people, unlike the salute to General Motors of 1957.
Highly promoted for the special were D.J. Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince (Will Smith), and they so-called performed at the end of the program.  D.J. Jazzy Jeff did not do much in the way of presenting "music"; he stood in front of electronic equipment and pushed out sound.  Meanwhile, The Fresh Prince (dressed like what he had often being dressed in years ago) provided the so-called lyrics and dialogue and yelling, and he came off as a "stupid" old man [Note: "Stupid" reminds of the recent television commercial featuring two football players who are wearing gold suits that are the same, and, in the end, one says--"We look stupid.".].  Will Smith's voice was musically defective, and, yet, the director of the program showed off people in the audience looking happy about the presentation and sort of singing along.  D.J. Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince did a forgettable performance, and they should have forgotten about taking part in the program in the way that they did.
A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop showed how much the music industry has sunken (affecting adversely even so-called country music of today, for example) and how much the television industry has sunken, and the special was ugly television that celebrated ugly culture, despite what the audience at the presentation seemed to show, but, as I have said in the past, few people have the guts to say that hip hop is mostly crap!
[Note: Now you can go off and hum "The Rubberband Man" (from The Spinners) all day, just one of the many fun tunes of the past that can roll around in the head for years, and it can be said that "Happiness is being with The Spinners" and not with D.J. Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince.]

I have reported that ugliness is commonplace on television today, and I have a big example of it here.  On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, I was watching The Saint (an episode offered up through Retro TV) on Channel 15.4 (broadcast) in the Detroit area, and during a commercial, I jumped off the channel and landed on 15.2, which is the home for WHPS-TV (which for many years was WHPR-TV).  On the air was a low-grade program featuring "The Sun of Man" or "The Son of Man" (I just usd both spellings since both have been used over the years, and that means the guy and his crew cannot get it right in one form).  The Son of Man is a black guy (an old black guy with gray hair), who always seems to be wearing sunglasses, but that seems to be a way of life for people like him.  The Sun of Man is associated with "The New Nation of Islam," which is a group of black racists (like the old Nation of Islam), and often, I have seen such persons dressed like military thugs, who wear sunglasses always.  Generally speaking, The Son of Man presents shows during prime time on WHPS-TV on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and that has been the rule for a bunch of years, and The Sun of Man gives so-called lectures related to Islam while standing behind a podium.  Between 10:22 p.m. and 10:40 p.m., I watched the presentation of The Sun of Man while he was arguing with some guy who was not shown on camera, and the topic was Donald J. Trump.  The Sun of Man passed along nonsense thought and lies, and he never really completed a point in his argument, and, by the way, during the debate of sorts, The Son of Man reported that his challenger never finished a point, but it was The Sun of Man who set the tone of the so-called debate by never finishing a point, each of which was basically one praise (an incomplete sentence) that was delivered in black-English form and bad English, examples of which are "you wasting my time" and "What do history say?".  The Son of Man did have a main theme, and that theme was that Donald J. Trump was bad.  The Sun of Man pushed out--without any evidence and logic--that on the day of the "January 6th" breech of the U.S. Capitol, the breech took place after Donald J. Trump had finished talking at his rally, and I report that that is false, and The Son of Man pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump wanted the event to take place so that he could "declare martial law," and there are no facts to back that up, especially since it is well known that, a number of hours before the event, Donald J. Trump had offered, for example, Nancy Pelosi (the head of the U.S. House of Representatives then) thousands of National Guard troops to keep security good at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, and Nancy Pelosi blocked the using the such troops.  The Sun of Man pushed out the ideas that Donald J. Trump "tried to destroy this country..." and "didn't do one thing that helped this country" and "didn't give a damn about the American people."  I report that The Son of Man was teaching crap and lies!  "Jaw jackin'"--this term was used by The Son of Man near the time that I was about to drop out of the broadcast, and the term was used to describe his opponent (who had already left the proceedings), but, really, it was The Sun of Man who did "jaw jackin'" for all the minutes during which I watched, and, incidentally--to make the point again-- I note that The Son of Man said that his opponent did "not stay on anything" (meaning his opponent never finished a topic or point), but it was The Sun of Man who was half baked  During the broadcast that I saw, The Son of Man worked hard to push the idea that "I gave you enough truth," and I report that The Sun of Man did not pass along "truth" during the sell.  As expected by me, The Sun of Man showed himself to be a supporter of Joseph Biden, and The Son of Man noted--"President Biden cares about the whole country.".  That was bullshit from The Son of Man!  One piece of evidence is how Joseph Biden has violated the immigration laws of the country, which is an impeachable offense.  This short paragraph only shows a bit of what The Son of Man, who is based in Mississippi, seems to teach day after day or at least three days a week in prime time on WHPS-TV, and it is rottenness, and it is stuff that some people in the Detroit area (at least) must watch or it would not yet be on television (and the broadcast shows off the nature of the people who make up WHPS-TV).
[Note: I have to pass along this additional information.  On December 27, 2023, I was getting ready to see an episode of Perry Mason at 11:30 p.m. on MeTV, and I tuned into Channel 15.2 (broadcast), and The Sun of Man was on the air, and right at the moment that I joined in on the program, The Son Of Man was playing old video of a guy called "Yaku"* (a black guy), who was, in essence, preaching to a large audience of blacks (mostly)--hundreds and hundreds it seems.  What "Yaku" was saying did not make sense, and it was hard to hear him, since the video material was defective.  The Son of Man made comments between video segments, and much of what he said never made sense since no point seemed to go beyond two so-called sentences (black-English-based phrases].  It was rambling speech from The Sun of Man.  And after every few so-called sentences, The Son of Man pushed out--"Do you understand?".  "Do you understand?" was said well over a dozens times in a few minutes of talk.  I report again that The Son of Man never made a point clear, and one point was--"It's not the white man's skin that's evil.".  "Do you understand?"  [* = "Yakub" was a guy who seems to have lived some 8,600 years ago, and he is a person who is mentioned regularly by Nation of Islam-type people and New Nation of Islam-type people.  "Yaku" may be a wrong spelling for the sort of more recent guy.  Maybe "Yaku" tied himself to "Yakub" in some way--a mystical way.  But I am not going to waste time hunting down an idiot sort of modern man.  The story about "Yakub," which includes his doing selective breeding centuries ago to create the "white man," is idiocy of the highest degree.  By the way, no one was doing selective breeding of humans 8,600 years ago, since the topic is only a somewhat recent thing.  And that is more of the crap that can be seen on broadcast television today, which might be deemed to be useful information by illegal aliens in the Detroit area, but who will learn crap.]]

Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned).  I note that the Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph.  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.  In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now.   [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
[Note: Here is an example of Chris Christie's rottenness.  On Sunday, February 6, 2022, Chris Christie was a guest on This Week with George Stephanopoulos (of ABC-TV), which had Martha Raddatz as the host, and Christ Christie pushed out crap.  For example, Chris Christie said--"...And let's face it.  Let's call it what it is.  January 6 was a riot that was incited by Donald Trump...an effort to intimidate Mike Pence and the Congress into doing exactly what he said in his own words last week--overturn the election.  And he's trying to do a cleanup on aisle one here...." and "...He actually told the truth by accident.  He wanted the election to be overturned....".  That is bullshit!]

I regularly find problems with Wikipedia articles about--at least--television.  Recently, I found problems with a page that deals with a television show of the 1950s called Paris Precinct.  That show is said by Wikipedia to be an "ABC" (ABC-TV) series.  That is an error.  Paris Precinct was a syndicated series, and it became available in the television marketplace in January 1955, but it did not show up for people of the Detroit area till Aprl 3, 1955, at 8:00 p.m..  The article from Wikipedia notes that the series came from Ziv Television, but that is wrong.  In essence, in 1955, the syndication of the series was tied to two main companies--UM&M (which had recently been receated out of United Film Service, MTA-TV, and Minot TV) and MPTV (a.k.a. Motion Pictures for TV).  The program was put together by Etoile Productions, and it was put together in France, one of the few television programs that aired in the United States of America in the 1950s that was produced in France.  The program had two main actors as regulars who were known at least to some people in the United States of America, and they were Louis Jourdan and Claude Dauplin, and Louis Jourdan played Inspector Beaumont, and Claude Dauphin played Inspector Bolbee.  The program was based on the files of the police of Paris, France, an entity that, at the time, was headed by Prefect Jean Baylot.  The production crew was mostly made up of people based in France.  When I looked at two episodes of the series on YouTube recently, I recognized one name immediately, and it was Sobey Martin, who was listed as the director of the two episodes.  Sobey Martin was an American, which was probably important to have for the production of the series, since it was done originally in English and not French.  The article about Sobey Martin on Wikipedia notes that he did directing for such series of the 1960s as The Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, but it has no information about Paris Precinct.  For the two episodes that I was, Charles K. Peck Jr. was called the writer, and he was an American, too.  I have to report that Wikipedia said the series was also called World Crime Hunt, but that is wrong.  I found that, such as in 1960, World Crime Hunt was another name for Interpol Calling.  For fun, you might think about seeing the episodes of Paris Precinct, which can be seen on YouTube.

Announcement: Recently, I have added some new documents to the collection of my documents at the website for The Hologlobe Press.  One of the documents is entitled A Document that Dispels Myths and Nonsense of Science-Fiction Books, Movies, and Television Shows (A Logic Puzzle), which can be reached through this Myths link.  Another document is And So You Think You're Going to the Moon, Mars, or the Stars..., which can be reached by using this Moon link.  And yet another of the documents is entitled And the Stupid Women Shall Lead--and Lead Every Good Individual into Shit, Driven on by Communism, Feminism, and Defective Female Beliefs and Little-Girl Thinking, which can be reached through this Stupid Women link.  And here are other documents--A Review of What Television Controlled by Socialists and Communists Worked to Sell as Truth in Relation to the U.S. President Donald J. Trump Impeachment (at Impeachment) and T.H.A.T. Special Edition--The First Helicopter-based Traffic Reporters on Radio for the Detroit area of Michigan (at Helicopter Traffic).

I have a document on the Internet called (using the short title)--Countdown to the End of the World.  The document runs (when processed through a version of WordPerfect and given "page numbering") 60 pages (at least).  I have been building up the document regularly since a prediction was made in October 2018 that noted the world only has 12 years left, if man doese not stop climate change quickly, and the document shows only some of the nonsense that rotten people have been pushing out about manmade climate change recently.  The document can be reached by using this Count link.  With that background information in your mind, I can move on.
Late in the day on December 8, 2023, I sat down in a big comfortable chair and turned on a television set, and then I went through the few channels (given I only had a few since I was watching over-the-air signals available in a rural area "up north").  It was about 11:29 p.m. Detroit time, and I stumbled on to Amanpour and Company (on a PBS-associated station).  I immediately recognized it was a bullshit presentation, using guest-host Paula Newton and guests Tom Vilsack (the head of the U.S. Department of Agriculture) and Mariam Almheiri (the minister of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates).  Every one of them worked to seem important and informed and serious--it was a phony show.  I came into the program when they were pushing the idea that a big problem with the world is the people of the United States of America eat too much meat, such as cow meat, and that has to change to save the world.  I then recalled that that jackass theme has been around since at least the time of Barack Hussein (a pusher of communism for the United States of America) as the U.S. president.  And the three--especially Tom Vilsack--talked about how all the methane from, for example, cows is killing the Earth.  I say that there is no proof.  If we play along with the jackass idea, though, I say that we had better kill all the cows and pigs and deer and bears and dogs and cats and rabbits and mice and rats and people on the planet--to save the world.
There are several reasons freaks and evil people want to get rid of the eating of cattle and pigs and such in the United States of America.  One reason is people who deny what they are--animals who eat animals like animals do--want animals not to be killed, though things like lions and tigers and komodo dragons kill for food.  Another reason that people want cows and such reduced in the world is to reduce the food available in the United States of America.  Yet another reason is people--international people--want to control the people of the United States of America though international laws (communistic laws).
On the morning of December 9, 2023, I went on the Internet to confirm who I saw on the edition of Amanpour and Company for a few minutes (I had quickly dropped out of the evil presentation to see an episode of Perry Mason on MTV), and I confirmed the names of the three persons, and, as usual, I stumbled upon a bunch of rotten stories about climate change (which would fit well in my Countdown document).  One story (a video that ran "1:53") was called "Antarctica could lose its ice forever", and it was from some entity called "Live Science" [What the hell is "Live Science"?], and the video had no publication date.  Another video was "Bill Nye explains how climate change is affecting our pocket books".  How the hell does Bill Nye know that climate change is affecting "our pocket books"?  That is bullshit from a fake scientist!  Scripps News (which I have called in the past a socialistic entity) had a thing called "No place in the US is safe from climate change, new data shows".   Salon (a communistic publication) had a story on the Internet called "Climate scientists need power to prescribe climate policies: report" [Rozsa, Matthew.  "Climate scientists need power to prescribe climate policies: report."  Salon, 8 December 2023.], and it was based on a story called "We need the power to prescribe climate policy, IPCC scientists say" [Neslen, Arthur.  "We need power to prescribe climate policy, IPCC scientists say."  theguardian.com, 7 December 2023 08:00 EST.].  The "IPCC" is a unit of the United Nations, which is controlled by socialists and communists--international freaks and killers--who would love to control the United States of America, such as through international laws and treaties.  Yet another story offered up (all of which were being pushed by "MSN") was "Bill Gates believes one key demographic is paramount to negating Earth's overheating 'We don't have that much time to keep this thing intact." (and the piece was attributed to Leo Collis of something called "The Cool Down", and it was dated December 9, 2023).  By the way, most of the presentations talked about in this section were videos.  Hey, at this moment--I see no evidence of "overheating."  The oceans and the Great Lakes and other bodies of water are not boiling over anywhere!  The last story--a video piece derived from a bigger thing--that I will mention was called "Greta Thunberg on how to tackle climate anxiety | The One Show - BBC".  The girl is 19 years of age, and yet she came off in the interview as a girl with a girly mind, talking yet again about droughts and famine and tens of millions of people will soon have bad lives, and she reported that she has a new book out--called The Cimate Book--and it was reported, though, she did not really write the book, and it was reported that, in essence, some 100 other persons wrote the book (meaning it is a collection of activists and environmental activists and communists and socialists and such). Why should they be trusted, because they are a group of some 100?  Early on in the interview, it was said by Greta Thunberg--To save the planet, she as a young girl became vegen.
So a lot of evil people are clearly working to get meat out of the diets of the people of the United States of America, and it is all based on fakery and crap!

Hold it!  When the local newscasters and newscasts fail to show up the idiocy of the stuff that I have shown to be idiocy, it shows the nature of the people, such as Devin "Cuba Lover" Scillian (of WDIV-TV), who hosts Flashpoint for people in the Detroit area.  In the afternoon of December 9, 2023, I was doing a bit more tracking work about the early evening newscasts of WXYZ-TV in the 1960s, and I went on Yahoo! for a moment, and I got exposed to "Climate change is pushing Earth toward these 5 disastrous scenarios, report says" [Rice, Doyle, and the Associated Press.  "Climate change is pushing Earth toward these 5 disastrous scenarios, report says."  USA Today, 9 December 2023, 9:00 a.m..].  The article was based on some report tied to the University of Exeter (England) and the Bezos Earth Fund.  By the way, it must be remembered England was a big hub of the "Climategate" scandal (related to fake climate graphics and models) a few years ago--or a bunch of "scientists" were.  It seems the "study" involved some 200 persons, two of whom were Tim Lenton and David Armstong.  The piece was yet another scare piece, and the piece did not even give the name of the so-called "study."  One quote attributed to the University of Exeter in the so-called news story was--"Societies will be overwhelmed as the natural world comes apart.".  Yeah, right!

By the way, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, I returned to the Detroit area; I had been away from the area for several weeks.  I turned on a television set in the evening. and I was given a shock, which had nothing to do with the set proper.  I found Retro TV was missing from the Channel 3 (broadcast) group.  Oh, crap!  Well, Television Drive-In was gone, and now it seemed Retro TV was gone.  Soon, I discovered--while running through the channels to see if there were any more changes--I found Heartland TV was gone from the Channel 3 group, too.  But moments later, I found that Retro TV and Heartland are now a part of the Channel 15 group.  So there are fewer reasons for me to drop in on the Channel 3 group, and there are a few more reasons to pop over to the Channel 15 group, though at times the signal for Channel 15 breaks up, causing me to miss out on seeing programming.  And that is that.  [Note: My most-watched networks or channels today re Retro TV, MeTV, Movies!, Grit, Laff, and Buzzr, and at times, I look in on shows of a few other channels, but I never watch, for instance, Start TV, This, shopping channels, and Bounce, and I will say that I avoid TheGrio (which in run by the rotten Byron Allen) usually, but I have seen some college football games (tied to mostly black colleges) in the recent past.]

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, I was in the Detroit area, and during the afternoon, I was hearing news stories on radio (such as from the Fox News radio network) that the Supreme Court of Colorado did crap (as I note) by making a decision, which, in essence, was being designed to take Donald J. Trump off the election ballots in Colorado for the big upcoming presidental election, and the work was crap because the decision from the court was based on, for one, the idea that Donald J. Trump had been involved in an "insurrection," which he had not been accused of anywhere in the country and had not be convicted of anywhere in the country, and it was four members of the court who had pushed out the crap (and three had not helped to push out the crap).  I knew for many reasons, besides the idea related to insurrection, that the decision showed off the rottenness of four members of the Supreme Court of Colorado, and it showed the persons were very likely to be people who would make other rotten decisions in the future.  Their rotten natures were clearly out in the open!  That evening, after watching an episode of The Saint (featuring Roger Moore as Simon Templar) on Retro TV (Channel 15.4 in Detroit now), I made an investigation of the newscasts on three of the Detroit-area television stations for 11:00 p.m., and that covered WJBK-TV, WDIV-TV, and WXYZ-TV, and I threw out my need to see the newscast on WWJ-TV, since I know the news department of that station is defective and not worthwhile, not that I thought the other stations were so great at the time.  For 11:00 p.m. on WDIV-TV, Devin Scillian and Kimberly Gill were the anchors, and the first story that the newscast covered was about a cop being fired, and at 11:00 p.m. on WXYZ-TV, the anchor was Carolyn Clilfford (who was looking a little haggard in the face on the night), and the first story for the newscast was about a stabbing (just another stabbing).  Given the gravity of the decision of the Supreme Court of Colorado, I can say that WXYZ-TV and WDIV-TV passed along useless news.  Both newscasts did not even cover the court decision--which is a national story that shows rottenness in a court system of the country.  I did not see the first story on WJBK-TV at 11:00 p.m. (it seems), and the first story that I did catch--which was probably the second story--was something about the cremation remains tied to a former U.S. postal worker (it seems).  At about 11:13 p.m. (based on a battery-operated clock that I looked at and that was probably slighly off time), I discovered WJBK-TV did air a "Fox News" story about the court decision, but the story failed to report why people should think the decision was crap, and I state that the story did not report that several judges of the Supreme Court of Colorado believed a part of the 14th amendment of The U.S. Constitution could guide them into removing Donald J. Trump from a ballot and believed they could sell the idea that Donald J. Trump was involved in an "insurrection."  All in all, the three newscasts did bad journalism, and, really, two did rotten journalism, and, in a way, the staff at WDIV-TV and WXYZ-TV, which includes, for instance, news directors and associates, lied to the American public about the state of the country through omission.  Oh, the newscast for WXYZ-TV had such defective news as a story about Charlie LeDuff's (Charlie LeDuff has been a reporter-type person of the Detroit area for decades) being tied to some type of domestic-violence incident and arrest and a story about a lot of "Gen Z"s moving in to the Ann Arbor area of Michigan, such as in 2022, and I say that they moved in to the Ann Arbor area even though the city proper is socialistic-based and communistic-based [Note: On December 19, 2023, I learned the city council of Ann Arbor had just put a ban on the use of gas-powered leaf blowers by some people starting on January 1, 2028, and that means some people, who may have just recently bought machines, which could last for years and years, will have to thrown them out or break them apart, and they will have to get battery-based machines, which will force the people to spend more money, especially on batteries, and that will increase the cost of having a yard done (because the workers will have to spend more money on equipment, and that cost gets passed on to the consumer) [Arias, Pilar.  "Michigan city bans gas leaf blowers in unanimous vote."  Fox News. 19 December 2023.].  I say that, in a way, the Colorado court system, such as the Supreme Court of Colorado, wasted time on the case, and, overall, the court system in Colorado wasted taxpayer money and wasted Donald J. Trump's money on something that should have been killed before it got started, which could have been done in minutes, and now money will be spent by the U.S. Supreme Court (taxpayer money) and Donald J. Trump to run through another round of court stuff in the near future, and the three Detroit-area television stations did not cover that.  [Knowles, David.  "Trump legal news brief: In landmark ruling Colorado Supreme Court removes Trump from ballot." Yahoo! News, 19 December 2023, 2:01 p.m. EST.]
[Note: I returned to the Detroit area for several reasons, one of which was to have a dental cleaning (a regular thing).  During that December 19, 2023, broadcast by WXYZ-TV, the station aired a commercial from "Delta Dental" (an insurance thing), which I do not have--I have been paying cash for some 50 years.  "Delta Dental" sort of offered up a political commercial, and it was--to me--jackass stuff.  It was pushing the idea that people should be "civil" with each other.  I say that--if you are a man--you should not be in the long run civil to communists and socialists and progressives and liberals, since they are enslavists, who, ultimately, work to hurt people to benefit themselves."  Delta Dental may promote Delta Dental to get more people to sign up, but Delta Dental should be seen a defective for using money for politcal talk, taking up a theme pushed out by Democrats to get people to not fight back against crap.]
[Note: On December 28, 2023, Americans were learning that the State of Maine was removing Donald J. Trump from ballots, and the idiocy of "insurrection" was tied to the decision, and it was more communism at work.]

Over the last few months, I have been focusing on figuring out the television newscast history for the Detroit area--in even more finer detail.  I finally looked at the WADL-TV newscast history, which I had been delaying on getting to, since I knew I would not find much.  For example, on June 4, 1990, WADL-TV, Channel 38, began to carry newscasts done by WJBK-TV (in live form or delayed repeat form), and that lasted a short while.  Incidentally, even WGPR-TV, Channel 62, has more newcast history, such as in the late 1970s and early 1980s, than Channel 38 does.  On January 16, 2012, WADL-TV did start up a local evening newscast (at 9:00 p.m.) on weekdays, and it was done in association with the Journal Register Newspapers and the operators of The Morning Sun (of Mt. Pleasant).  Makenzi Henderson was the anchor for the 2012 thing, which only lasted a few months, and Eric Garlick did weathercasting.  Both are still in the television news business today.  In May 2023, Eric Garlick began to work for WBTV-TV (in North Carolina), and in December 2023, Makenzi Henderson started to read for WDAY-TV (in North Dakota).

"For the record," I report that I certainly have the fullest listing of people who were anchors, news reporters, sports reporters, and weathercasters for the Detroit area television stations between 1946 and January 10, 2024, and during my research, I have found more evidence about what people were truly rotten or jackasses, and, generally speaking, I find that television news people are rather shallow thinkers or low-level thinkers, and I report that you should not see them as anything special (but Ms. Erotic News Gal does have pretty brown boobs).

Okay, let me show off a jackass moment in Detroit television news.  On Saturday, December 23, 2024, WXYZ-TV aired a professional football game in the evening, which was fed to it by ABC-TV, and the names of the teams do not matter.  At about 9:13 p.m., the station put in a local newsbreak, which had weather done by Marisa Woloszyn (a fairly new staffer at the station, who was heard and was not seen) and a news story, which led off the break, that was pushed out by Simon Shaykhet (the anchor).  The story was useless news, which--I say--is tied to jackass law, and the story was about a gasoline station near Metro Airport that, it seems, was involved in "price goughing."  I say in jest--Oh, how terrible the people at the gas station must be!  Hold it!  In a good country with ideas based on capitalism, a person can charge what the person wants for a product or service, and if the price is too high, the person will have to lower the price or cancel the product or go out of business.  In the case of a gas station, people can see the price and buy or not buy, and people, if the price is too high, can tell others not to shop at the station, and then the station can lose money, reduce the number of employees, or go out of business.  Gas stations cannot survive by selling only gasoline, and, in fact, they make money through all the other products offered.  When the government is involved in telling gas stations what they can charge, you have fascism.  Yet, Simon Shaykhet presented the story--and he looked like a jackass to me--and he made sure to sell the idea that the attorney general of Michigan, who is Dana Nessel (a freak and a feminist and a pusher of communism), was going to take on the gas-station owners and take them to task.  Are you going to tell me that the story--about a "BP" gas station--was the big news of the day?  In a way, it looked to me as if Simon Shaykhet was working to make the state goverment look good by showing how it is taking up the cause of "the little guy" or the "man on the street" over the gas station.
A person has to wonder when a newscaster on television in Detroit will feel the newscaster's job and work as a so-called reporter or news anchor is valueless and should be seen a valueless.  On December 27, 2023, Sebastian Gorka of America First with Sebastian Gorka (a nationally syndicated radio show for weekdays) interviewed a man running for a U.S. Senate seat in Arizona, and the man was Sheriff Mark Lamb (who has been tied to Pinal County of Arizona for at least six years).  During the interview, which happened at around 4:35 p.m. (Detroit time), Mark Lamb reported that, in essence, the federal government has been using NGOs (non-governmental organizations, such as some religious entities) to pass along or funnel free airline tickets and free money (such as pre-paid cards having up to $5,000.00) to illegal aliens, such as those who end up passing through the Pinal County area.  Mark Lamb reported that the information about the money is coming to him from, for example, employees (agents) of the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, who are aware what the Joseph Biden administration has been doing since January 2021 is rotten, and I say that Joseph Biden has been in violation of the U.S. immigration laws [Note: In essence, the federal government (or the Joseph Biden administration) has been passing along big money to NGOs (even international-type NGOs, as noted by Mark Lamb), who pass along the money to illegal aliens as a part of what the entities have been doing as entities for years--raising money for various causes (such as relief causes) tied to or for other countries--and the federal government does not get tied directly to passing the money along, which it wants to do, by using middle-man entities, which are doing things that honorable entities would not do.].  Then, on December 28, 2023, Mark Lamb was a guest on The Mike Gallagher Show (another nationally syndicated radio show for weekdays) at around 9:35 a.m., and he reported the same themes that he had on the day previous, and he mentioned, for example, how the number of illegal aliens now in the country because of the Joseph Biden administration is well-understated by the federal government.  The themes passed along on the two radio shows show how useless the story from Simon Shaykhet was, really.  Incidentally, I hope you did deduce that, if illegal aliens are passing along the ideas to others--those not yet in the country--that they can get into the country easily and get big bucks, other people are going to make plans to get in on the free money, and I hope you did deduce that the caravan of illegal aliens will go on and on and on, and Americans will be poorer and worse.

Hey, let me put this in, since the television stations are more interested in presenting news "shows" (featuring fluff and pretty faces and maybe nice boobs) these days, and the stations are promoting hard the ideas of happy news shows with likable people and friendliness and togetherness, et cetera (useless crap) [Note: The black-and-white ads of WDIV-TV that show up regularly, such as on Channel 4.3. that feature reporters, such as Mara MacDonald and Will Jones, who talk about emotions and such, are crappy, and the overall themes are foolishness.].  Liz Lewin is a somewhat new face to WJBK-TV, and she has always had a cute face and has been seen (by me) as a cutie.  On Saturday, December 23, 2023, I saw her again, and it looks as if she is vying to be another "Ms. Erotic News Gal"-type on Detroit television or in Detroit television news.  It seems she has lost a bit of weight, and she worked to show herself (such as her boob shape) off on that Saturday.  However, Liz Lewin's image and Ms. Erotic News Gal's image (Glenda Lewis's image) do not mean I think that they are worthwhile people, who might be worth talking with and such.  What is in the head determines whether or not a person is worthwhile.  Whitney Burney is a news staffer at WXYZ-TV, and people in the television audience might think she is pretty.  Visually she is.  However, I easily found a photograph of her--tied to "Muck Rack"--that showed her standing before a big image of Barack Hussein Obama (a pusher of socialism and communism and a rotten man), and when a person finds it fine to be tied to rotten people and rotten politics, then the person is rotten.  Understand that news people are no great thinkers, saying, for example, very little (in the number of words) during reports, and, in fact, this document probably has more words in it than what most reporters write in a month or months.  News people are shallow, worried more about staying on the air and getting in anchor chairs and getting paid big bucks, and much of what anchors say is written by people behind the scenes.  And if we are going to look at image, I can say that Glenda Lewis and Liz Lewin are about the only ones whom I have found really cute on Detroit television over the period from 1946 to today, and if we are going to get in to the "race" thing--which television stations and broadcast networks are involved with in a big way, making sure to have the right percentages of ethnics on the air (casting idiocy)--I have to report that I have yet to see a shapely asian-type gal as a reporter in Detroit, such as a Japanese gal shaped like Emma Samms or Salma Hayek or Ema Hayasaka.  If there were one, I might look from time to time--though letting much of what was presented in words go in one ear and out the other since I well understand the nature of Detroit television and the news business.  Hey!  Hey!  Where is the super-cutie and nice Japanese gal?  By the way, WDIV-TV pushes out the jackass idea of "Expect More", and I always say to myself when I see the "Expect More" blurb--Expect More, but you won't get it.  Yes, no great Japanese gal is going to show up soon probably, especially one with a useful mind on WDIV-TV.  Of course, if one shows up, it will show that the managers of stations are, bascially, more concerned with presenting Japanese-type nice boobs than presenting useful adult news (as opposed to little-girl news).  [Note: Look at the prime-time series and commercials (at least).  Each seems to have one white, one black, one asian, one this, one that, et cetera.  It is phony casting, based on political crap.  News departments have been doing that type of crap--not based on what is in the head--for years.]

The previous paragraph passed a long a little prettiness (it seems), and now I have more ugliness to pass along, and ugliness is easy to find on television these days.  On the evening of December 28, 2023, I gathered up information--a list on three index cards--about what feeds over-the-air television watchers can see in Detroit; every so often, such as every so many months, I make a full survey and make a set of cards that show what is on, and between the full survey times, I make notations in the "subchannel" section of my files the changes that take place.  I was inspired to make a full survey since I noticed that Channel 19.5 was promoting the idea that "The 365" network (an all-black network, which came off as a somewhat racist thing, based on how it was being sold to viewers) was going to show up on Channel 19.5 on New Year's Day and that Channel 19.6 was promoting the idea that "Outlaw: The Western Channel" was going to show up on Channel 19.6 on New Year's Day.  When I was done with making the set of three cards, I looked over for a few moments the Innova 5610 auto scanner and code reader that I had just bought, which is the highest-end hand scanner (of the format shape) that is available from Innova, and now I have two scanners, the other of which is an Actron CP9135, which I have had for some twenty years and which I had repaired about a month ago by putting on a new plug, replacing the original one that had gotten a pin damaged one day recently, and, by the way, I bet local morning shows have never talked about scanners, too busy covering girly topics all the time, such as about cooking and exercise [Note: On the morning of December 29, 2023, I happened to catch Deena Centofanti on WJBK-TV talking about her belief in a micro bio link between the brain and the gut, which came off as nonsense.].  On the evening of December 28, 2023, I happened to switch the channel to Channel 2.1 (WJBK-TV), and the Let It Rip! guys (Roop Raj and Charlie Langston) were talking with four persons, and they were about to finish with a talk about Donald Trump and the actions that were working to remov Donald Trump from ballots.  One of the guests once again showed offer her rotten mind, and that guest was U.S. Representative Debbie Dingell.  I just happened to catch her when she pushed out the idea that she supports "civility" over "cruelty," and her theme was pushing the idea that Donald J. Trump has shown himself to be a cruel man.  That was bullshit from Debie Dingell (who, by the way, has a truly ugly face, too) and who is a supporter of the Democratic Party, which is based on socialism and Sharia and communism and progressivism, which are all tied to violence, as history shows, and that is real cruelty.  The topic of discussion for Let It Rip! was switched to immigration and the border with Mexico, and this time, Debbie Dingell said--trying to defend the Joseph Biden administration's not enforcing immigration laws that have been on the federal books for years or decades--that she supports "comprehensive immigration reform."  I report that the country does not need "comprehensive immigration reform"; it needs the Democrats to follow the existing laws.  The topic was quickly changed by the hosts, particularly Roop Raj, and the new topic was climate change.  Debbie Dingell, acting like a spoiled and nasty little girl, was only able to push out the idea that she is working to "make sure we have a future" (and the statement was more nonsense that I could put in my document about the climate-change hoax related to man's killing the planet, which can be reached by using this Countdown link).  Debbie Dingell only did "jaw jackin'," backing up no theme or statement with facts and logic, which could prove her cases to be true and worthwhile.  Plus, I state that Debbie Dingell is not saving the planet and that the planet does not give a shit about Debbie Dingell and her efforts, and the planet will be around in working order for centuries and centuries and centuries, way outliving the piss-ass little thing  known as Debbie Dingell (a tiny biological entity) that will be long gone before the planet is done.  Now, I jump to January 1, 2024, and on that day, over-the-air viewers now had 84 active feeds, but 11 channels were repeat feeds (related to StartTV, JTV, HSN, SBN, Court, ShopLC, and an infomercial feed), so the number of feeds or channels was really 73 channels, many of which I considered useless.

I have another "for the record" paragraph here.  In Television History and Trivia #235, I did a review of the 75th anniversary special for WXYZ-TV, and during the discussion, I mentioned that I lived in Inkster, Michigan, years ago (from the middle of the 1950s to the middle of the 1970s or so).  On December 28, 2023, I was reminded I was living in Inkster when Malcolm X was living in Inkster years ago for a short while (circa 1962), and it was when Malcolm Little changed his name to Malcolm X.  Malcolm X was tied to "black power" stuff and to the Nation of Islam, and Malcolm X was a supporter of Islam for the black community.  In essence, Malcolm X was a pusher of rottenness.  On December 28, 2023, Megan Woods did a report at about 6:05 p.m. (when I jumped into the feed) for WDIV-TV about a new museum of sorts tied to Malcolm X in Inkster--the home in which Malcolm X lived (circa 1962).  So Megan Woods got to do a report (for Channel 4) that focused on garbage, and the news report showed more of how Inkster has gone to crap since I was there.  [See Television History and Trivia #235 by using this T.H.A.T. #235 link.]

You may have thought that you have reached the end of my showing nonsense and ugliness on television, but you are wrong, and I have super-big stuff here, and it combines a bunch of topics, and it is a discussion that comes from a man and not a piss-ass boy or a girlie boy, so get ready!.
On Saturday, December 30, 2023, I watched the Arizona Bowl as offered up by The CW Network (which airs in the Detroit area on WMYD-TV, which is the sister station to WXYZ-TV).  The broadcast began at 4:00 p.m. with a pre-game show, which was made up of a small group of people, and the broadcast started at about 4:30 p.m., and then there was a half-time bit that had, in essence, the same people who had been on the pre-game show.  The cast for the pre-game show and the half-time show was made up of Kayce Smith (who has the main host), Brandon Walker, Taylor Lewan, Will Compton, and "PFT Commenter" (who is really Eric Sollenberger).  The broadcast team for the presentation was Jack Marsh, Dave Portnoy, and Dan "Big Cat" Katz.  I report that, basically, the people as a group came off as a group of young jackasses, and the worst of the bunch were Jack Marsh, Dave Portnoy, and Dan "Big Cat" Katz (who might be better called "Dan 'Big "Jackass" Cat' Katz").  The broadcast team members talked over each other regularly, and they pushed a lot of crap statements.  At least twice, one of the guys pushed out--"What the hell?".  I have not heard such a statement from adult broadcasters on the big networks ever (which covers at least fifty years).  One guy called a player a "moron."  And one guy pushed out--"I'm making a list of all the dorks!".  The guys were like kids doing a broadcast for a junior college football game.  I say that guys came off a phony, and I found myself saying to myself--"Oh, shut up!".  The only thing good of the broadcast was Kayce Smith seemed to have a nice set of boobs, but given the cast seemed stupid and phony, the boobs are probably fake (created through augmentation).
I have said in the past that, the more women have gotten in control of news and broadcasting and politics, the worse the country has become, and that is because women think much less logically than men do.  Evidence of that can be seen by being in a hair salon run by women and occupied by women (and maybe some girlie guys or gays) and being in a barbershop.  There is a difference in what women and men think about and how they think about things.  That is fact!  Incidentally, during the football game, which was between the Toledo Rockets and the Wyoming Cowboys, adds for the news department of WXYZ-TV/WMYD-TV were often presented, and the theme of the presentations was mostly about "emotions," and the ads came off as girlie.
WXYZ-TV, Channel 7, and, in a way, WMYD-TV, are tied to the ABC-TV network, and what the ABC-TV network does with news gets tied to all the staffers at WXYZ-TV and WMYD-TV, especially the news people, and if ABC-TV does rotten stuff, the people of WXYZ-TV and WMYD-TV get linked to it, even Glenda Lewis (despite having pretty brown boobs).  On Sunday, December 31, 2023, I happened to stop in the broadcast of This Week with George Stephanopoulos, and Jonathan Karl (whom I have shown in the past to be rotten, such as in broadcasts related to Donald J. Trump) was talking with three women who had been in the Donald J. Trump administration--Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sarah Matthews, and Cassidy Hutchinson.  Jonathan Karl presented the three gals in two segments, which were separated by commercials.  Here, I will only talk about the second segment, which was the worst of the two segments, but both segments were rotten.  In the second segment, the producers of This Week with George Stephanopoulos, the management of ABC-TV, Jonathan Karl, and the three women and others were presenting something that, in essence, pushed out the idea that, if Donald J. Trump were to become the president of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump would have people, adversaries and enemies and the like, killed, and the group of people pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump would use the federal government to kill people.
What was presented could easily become a court case against the people involved!
Hold it!  I have to present background information here.  During Donald J. Trump's four years as the U.S. president, Donald J. Trump did nothing that violated The United States Constitution, and if he had done something, the Democrats and Republicans would have pushed out the proof to the American people, and they would still be presenting that before the American people.  Since Joseph Biden became the U.S. president, he has violated laws of the country and The United States Constitution, such as in relation to student loans and the border with Mexico.  In addition, the Democrats in the U.S. government have used the IRS, the DOJ, the FBI (at least) to harass and put down anti-Democratic Party people (or anti-communists or anti-progressives or anti-socialists) in the country, and it has been proven, for example, the FBI has violated laws to do spying on Americans and even Donald Trump.
Now, I get back the biggest feature of this section of the document.  On Sunday, December 30, 2023, through This Week with George Stephanopoulos, the three women--Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sarah Matthews, and Cassidy Hutchinson--showed that they are, in essence, communists and socialists and the like, and they were what they were and are during their times in the Donald J. Trump administration.  When the second segment began, Jonathan Karl wondered what a second term with Donald J. Trump as the U.S. president would be like.  By the way, on the bottom of the screen was often a graphic that noted that the three women were giving a "grave warning" about Donald J. Trump.  Alyssa Farah Griffin talked first, and she said--"Fundmentally, a second Trump term could mean the end of American democracy as we know it, and I don't say that lightly.".  Hold it!  That was bullshit, based on the past history of Donald J. Trump.  I reported that Donald J. Trump has not been shown to have violated The U.S. Constitution and had not done something while he was the U.S. president that could be deemed against "democracy."  In addition, Alyssa Farah Griffin said--"We all witnessed him trying to steal a democratic election before and going to historic and unconstitutional lengths to do so.".  The words from Alyssa Farah Griffin made a group of words that were a lie.  Her words made up bullshit!  Sarah Matthews pushed out a bunch of nonsense, saying, for example, that Donald Trump's talk has become "increasing erratic," and she noted that he wants to "weaponize the DOJ."  Hold it!  The DOJ has already been weaponized by the Democrats, and history shows it every day.  Cassidy Hutchinson pushed out the idea that, in relation to Donald Trump's going into dictator mode, it shows he is a "weak and feeble man," and she reported that Donald Trump has "no sense of integrity" and "no sense of leadership".  It was all bullshit and propaganda from Cassidy Hutchinson!  Yet, it was Sarah Matthews who took the segment to super-rottenness, and, for instance, in relation to her saying that she has come across people (such as people tied to the U.S. Cabinet under Donald Trump) who might speak out against Donald Trump, she said--"They know they will face death threats for speaking out, that their families will face death threats.".  That was the type of talk--which was not based on fact and which was based on girlie emotions from angry girls and evil minds--that promoted violence against Donald Trump and against people who support Donald Trump (a non-communist and non-socialist and non-liberal).  Also Sarah Matthews said--"I could potentially face security threats, on-line harassment...." and "...We're running out of time to stop Trump from being in the Oval Office again....".  Alyssa Farah Griffin passed along the idea that Donald Trump "knows how to use government better this time," and Donald Trump will weaponize "every level of government," and she noted that Donald Trump will go after the "American people."  Near the end of the segment, it was Alyssa Farah Griffin who said--"It's almost too scary to fully wrap your head around what it could look it".  And in the end, Sarah Matthews reported that, to stop Donald Trump, she would vote for communists and socialists and progressives (people who are clearly anti-U.S. Constitution, which is a document that was designed to block enslavistst from making the country a dictatorship and the like).  What was presented in the edition of This Week with George Stephanopoulos is now tied to everyone who works at WXYZ-TV, even Ms Erotic News Gal, even if she may not be a Democrat, and so goes life, and so goes the way of people when they promote on national broadcast television the idea that such-and-such a person is going to kill others, though the propaganda is based on no fact and is based on no adult-male thinking from an honorble man.
[Note: I do hope you deduced ABC-TV did not present news or something newsworthy--Particularly, ABC News presented female emotional-based guesses and conclusions that were tied to nothing of past history or tied no actions of the past, or ABC News did communistic-type propaganda.]
[Note: I have this extra.  On January 7, 2024, on This Week with George Stephanopoulos, George Stephanopoulos and two associates of the ABC-TV network (Jonathan Karl and Katherine Faulders) made a big deal about some new stuff that Jack Smith (one of the prosecutors in the country who is going after Donald J. Trump in court cases), and, for example, it was noted that a number of associates of Donald J. Turmp's on the day of the election in Novemberr 2020 have testified, such as before committees of some type, that, at the time of the 2020 election, they saw no fraud related to the election.  That is useless information.  It was not their jobs to do research on the day of the election about election fraud!  They had no ties to research!  Their beliefs are useless information!  In addition, what evidence there may have been about fraud was never shown in court cases, since judges in the country shut down court cases (with "discovery") before the cases could get started.  Yet, it must be kept in mind that there were violations and corruption of election laws, such as when courts superceeded the idea that only state legislatures (as set down in The United States Constitution) could set rules about elections.  The decisions by judges were fraud.  But to get back to the issue on This Week with George Stephanopoulos, I have to say that enemies of Donald J. Trump are working in a corrupt manor to prove Donald J. Trump actually did not believe there was corruption and fraud in the election and yet pushed out the idea that their was corruption and fraud in the election, so that means Donald J. Trump was involved in "fraud" in the election and was selliing fraud to the American people, and he is still selling fraud to the American people so he should not be able to run for the office of the U.S. president.  That is bullshit thinking!  I say in other words--It does not matter how many people with no research data about election fraud on the day of the election say about election fraud, since the number of no-nothings--no matter how great the number is, even if it is in the thousands--is still nothing, and you could have thousands and thousands and thousands of those types of people but the idea that each is saying on the day of the election that no fraud was seen has no useful value, since each is only passing along feelings and emotions not based on research and fact.  Oh, you should see--If a person is asked  whether or not the person saw fraud on the day of the election and if the person says no fraud was seen by the person (given the person had no data about fraud, since no research had yet been done), then the person asking the question can use the answer in a currupt way, suggesting no fraud existed for the election, especially when the same "no" answer from a bunch of people is gathered together to make a group answer.  It is still nothing!]

Hey, New Year's Eve is supposed to be about fun and celebrating the new year.  However, in essence, ABC-TV through (informally) New Year's Rockin' Eve turned the celebration into a political platform for those pushing for socialism and communism.  During the program, a musical group--headed by Bille Joe Armstrong--that is called Green Day performed, and the head of the group used time to put down Donald Trump and supporters of Donald Trump and the "MAGA" movement by changing the words to a song that some people know.  Green Day showed off its rottenness on ABC-TV!  And New Year's Rockin' Eve has been forever corrupted--it would not have happened if Dick Clark were around.

Years ago, the British sent to some fun in the form of television series to the United States of America, and I watched them, and only some of those fun things were Sherlock Holmes (related to Sheldon Reynolds), William Tell, Supercar, Secret Agent (called Danger Man in the UK and now seen on Retro TV), The Avengers, and The Champions.  On November 23, 2023, Ghosts (the UK version) showed up on CBS-TV, and it is what the Ghosts (the series for U.S.A. television) is based on.  The UK version is rather flat, and the characters of the U.S.A. version are more fun and likeable that those of the UK version are.  On January 4, 2024, at 9:30 p.m., an episode of the UK version was shown on CBS-TV, and there was more of that nonsense about women (fat gals in this case) getting married.  I wonder how icky I would find UK television today, as compared to fifty years ago, if I were see the programs off all the networks and such for a few days.  The political crap of UK television series must be almost unbearable.

And now I get to a small group of black racists and anti-Semites (Jew haters).  On Monday, January 8, 2024, I just happened to catch the beginning of a show called TheGrio with Mark Lamont Hill on TheGrio television network (Channel 3.1 (broadcast) in Detroit), which is under the control of Byron Allen, a black racist.  Mark Lamont Hill (another one of those black "activists," like Barack Hussein Obama) opened the show with two guests--Kizzy Cox (a black gal) and Chris Emdin, PhD. (a black guy).  The first subject--which would not last long--focused on the illegal-alien crisis that black mayors are having to deal with, such as because the Governor of Texas is sending illegal aliens in buses to New York City (the home of Mayor Eric Adams (a black guy)) to get the illegal aliens out of Texas (where they should not have allowed to show up through trips from Mexico), and the clips of two mayors were played.  The host of the show and the two guests mentioned that the migrants' showing up in the cities is a big problem, and all that the three wanted done is to get money from the federal government to help house and feed and whatever the illegal aliens.  There was no talk whatsoever about stopping illegal aliens from entering the country in great numbers or sending the illegal aliens back to their countries.  So that was one segment in which the three blacks showed themselves to be rotten.  The segment was truly ugly television, as would be the next segment.  The second segment, which also would not last long, had the three persons' talking about Claudine Gay, the former regular president of Harvard University, which is a communistic and socialistic university.  Kizzy Cox pushed out the idea that Claudine Gay--though Claudine Gay was a president of a university who had done a number of plagiaristic events to get where she was--was pushed out because of race.  I report that Claudine Gay had to leave the job as the president of the Harvard University, but she gets to stay at the university to teach and to continue to push propaganda, such as her support for the "Palestinians" in Gaza and wherever.  Chris Emdin said that Claudine Gay was "mistreated," and Chris Emdin pushed out the idea that Donald J. Trump is tied to the "Proud Boys" group, which is a lie, and Chris Emdin said the Claudine Gay (a corrupt "paper" writer) is an "intellectual leader" at Harvard University.  Basically, the three agreed that, because Claudine Gay is black, she was gotten rid of.  Mark Lamont Hill, who likes and supports Louis Farrakhan (a black racist and clear high-level anti-Semite), said that we are seeing an "assault on black intellectuals."  During the few minutes that I watched The Grio with Mark Lamont Hill, I could see it was shit television from shitty people, and there was no great "intellect" shown or present on the show.  Yes, ugliness is easy to find on television today!

And now I am Looking at the Movies.  Generally speaking, I urge you to see--through Looking at the Movies--movies that are offered for free on YouTube, and the movies are those that were shown on television in the early years of television stations in the Detroit area.  Today, I begin with a short subject, which was not on television years ago, but I wanted to make you aware of it.  On December 15, 2023, a guy called "Metal Leo" posted a video on YouTube called "Every restaurant is CLOSED in San Francisco", and once you see it, you will want to get the bad taste about the operators of San Francisco out of your mouth and mind by seeing a fun movie.  By the way, the video shows what the "Streets of San Francisco" (of California) are like today, and it is in contrast to what you can see by seeing the made-for-TV movie called The Streets of San Francisco and the television series called The Streets of San Francisco of the 1970s, which featured Karl Malden and Michael Douglas Jr. as the main performers or regulars.  And the video shows what has happened to pretty San Francisco since the days of shooting such television shows as The Streets of San Francisco and McMillan & Wife because of freaks and socialists and communists and progressives and the like.  On March 17, 1975, and March 18, 1975, WXYZ-TV, Channel 7, aired a movie in the morning, and that movie, offered up in two parts, was San Francisco (a 1936 movie that featured Clark Gable), and the movie was hosted by Rita Bell, and the umbrella title for the show used for the showing of the movie was Rita Bell's Prize Movie (which people often called, simply, Prize Movie).  From about 1960 to 1977, Rita Bell hosted a movie show on Channel 7 on weekday mornings, and it had several names.  On October 26, 1962, Rita Bell was the host for a showing of San Francisco Docks, which was a 1941 theatrical featuring Burgess Meredith.  Then, the name of Rita Bell's regular weekday morning show was Prize Playhouse.  On April 21, 1952, WXYZ-TV put Docks of San Francisco on the air, starting at 11:15 p.m., and that movie featured Mary Nolan and Jason Robards.  That movie presentation was not hosted by Rita Bell, whose push to get into television work began in earnest in 1947. Docks of San Francisco (originally released to movie theaters in 1932) is the feature presentation for this edition of Looking at the Movies.  If you see the movie, which I am urging you to see through YouTube, you will not see the true San Francisco as it was in 1932, since the movie was probably made in Hollywood and in studios, and there are no real streets scenes of San Francisco in the movie.  Stop!  Wait!  On YouTube, you will find a presentation of Docks of San Francisco listed as "Docks Of San Francisco (1932) Gangster Movie", and it is a poor copy of the film, but at least it is available.  The movie was posted on YouTube by "Broken Trout" on February 5, 2019, and Broken Trout has posted a small bunch of old movies on YouTube, and what is interesting is, before the movie begins, graphic material runs (with music), and "Our Feature Presentation" shows up on the screen, and the graphic stuff is the same stuff that showed up before presentations of some movies shown on "Television Drive-In" in the Detroit area a few years ago.  If you see that presentation of Docks of San Francisco, you will not have a taste of the real old San Francisco, circa 1932, but you will have a taste of what Television Drive-In was like.

I have this little note--The next edition of Television History and Trivia will look at Solutionaries, a mostly steamed series tied to WDIV-TV and the other Graham Media Group stations, and my talk will show what crap and ugliness that is within the Graham Media Group and WDIV-TV.

P.S.: Here is the type of shit that is probably coming to Michigan soon because of people like Governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer, who supports socialism and communism.  On January 1, 2024, some 700,000 illegal aliens in California became eligible for free health care in California, while many U.S. citizens in California still had to pay for health care, in essence, directly.  Meanwhile, thousands of illegal aliens--if not mostly near 10,000--are entering the United States of America freely each day, and so it looks as if the 700,000 figure will continually go up day upon day.  Of course, Californians at least will have to pay for the health care for the illegal aliens, and people who visit California will help pay through taxes, such as sales taxes and hotel taxes probably, and maybe California will be able to pull out and get money from the federal government (which is money that will come from people in, for example, the other 49 states of the nation).  That story is a national story, and I bet the story--showing the rottenness of California and Governor Gavin Newsom (who wants to be the U.S. president soon, even though he is a piece of shit of a man)--was not covered well by the local television news departments and newscasts, and it was not shown how evil the managers of California are.  And you want me to praise the television newscasters of Detroit!  [Nguyen, Tran.  "California is expanding health care coverage for low-income immigrants in the new year."  The Associated Press, 30 December 2023, 12:09 a.m. EST.]

P.S.: Hey, where is the Solutionairies program about the subject of the previous paragraph?

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!

Vic

P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link.  I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man."  For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President.  I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.  Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
