Special Important Announcement

On December 9, 2020, a video entitled "It's a HORRIBLE time in history to be Honest and Ethical.  People love the LIE" was posted on YouTube.  The video features testimony from Dr. Pierre Kory, who is, for example, related to an entity called the "Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance" and to the St. Luke's Aurora Medical Center.  In the video, Dr. Pierre Kory talks about an anti-viral called "ivermectin", which has been around for some time, and talks about using it to defeat COVID-19.  The talk was given at a hearing (entitled "Early Outpatient Treatment: An Essential Part of the EN SVVID-19 Solution") at the U.S. Senate (related to the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs) on December 8, 2020.  See the video!
[Note: In the spring of 2020, especially around April 2020, the Democrats and people in parts of the federal government (such as the FDA), were putting down using hydroxychloroquine, saying it was dangerous, but some doctors did use it, such as on a state representative of Michigan and her husband, who thanked U.S. President Donald J. Trump for making hydroxychloroquine more known.  Keep in mind--then--in the spring, hydroxychloroquine was a decades-old drug and was not dangerous (when used properly).  By the way, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (a Democrat and a socialist and a feminist (a.k.a. for all of them "enslavist")) was putting down and not promoting the drug while pushing the idea that blacks were dying of COVID-19 because the medical community was racist against blacks, and some Democrats around the country were pushing the idea that U.S. President Donald J. Trump was promoting the drug because he had stock in the company making the drug.  "Ivermectin" is a known drug, and medical people know how to use it and handle it.  Hold it!  On December 14, 2020, the first person in the United States of America, who was in Florida, received a vaccine shot for COVID-19; companies that had developed the drug delayed telling the world that their work was done till right after the election of November 3, 2020.  In December 2020, once it looked as if Donald J. Trump was no longer going to be the U.S. president, the people of the American Medical Association were saying that hydroxychloroquine could be used.]
On June 2, 2021, an entity called Breitbart published an article entitled "ANTHONY FAUCI IGNORED EMAIL FROM PHYSICIST CLAIMING HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE COULD HELP BATTLE CORONVIRUS" (which was written by Jacob Bliss).  The article noted that, in March 2020, a man named Erik Nielsen (a physicist) sent information to Dr. Anthony Fauci that suggested ciclesonide (or Alvesco) and hydroxychloroquine seemed to be effective in battling COVID-19.  The article passed along the idea that Dr. Anthony Fauci ignored the information from Erik Nielsen, and the article presented the idea that Dr. Anthony Fauci considered the email from Erik Nielsen to be too long to take time to see.
On September 6, 2021, and September 7, 2021, at least some people were learning that the U.S. federal government supplied money to entities in China to work on, in essence, COVID-19-related research, such as "gain-of-function" research.  Two of the entities were the Wuhan University Center for Animal Experiment and the Wuhan Institute of Virology.  A good and smart person in the United States of America has to wonder why the hell was U.S. money going to China, especially in relation to something that could be highly dangerous to man?  News reports showed that Dr. Anthony Fauci (who was the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases) lied about the funding process, which involved him, and the funding process was tied to, for example, an entity called the EchoHealth Alliance.  [Curanaj, Lidia.  "Report: Wuhan lab documents show Fauci lied about 'gain of function' research." wabcradio.com, 7 September 2021.; Justice, Tristan.  "New Details Of Fauci Funding Chinese Gain-of-Function Research Vindicate Rand Paul." thefederalist.com, 7 September 2021.; Lerner, Sharon, and Mara Hvistendahl.  "New Details Emerge About Coronavirus Research at Chinese Lab."  theintercept.com, 6 September 2021, 9:06 p.m..]
I have sort of a side note here.  In September 2021, I was hearing information that noted that some pharmacies, such as those associated with the big chain stores like CVS, are refusing to fill prescriptions for ivermectin, and, for example, that type of information was passed along on the nationally syndicated radio show known as The Charlie Kirk Show (on September 21, 2021).  If a doctor prescribes ivermectin for a person (a patient)--whatever the reason--how can a pharamacy refuse to fill the prescription, given it is not the job of a pharamacy to determine what the person should get and should not get (which is done by the doctor in associaton with the person)?  It seems pharmacies could be and should be sued for not filling prescriptions.

- - - T.H.A.T., Edition No. 210 - - -

Here is another edition of Television History and Trivia.  Each such document is a document that is used to talk about national television and even Detroit television.  Lately, much of the talk as been about how crummy television is, and I show examples of the crummy stuff.  In each edition, there is a segment called Looking at the Movies, which is used to give suggestions about old movies to see, such as through YouTube, and the movies are what a person might take up watching in the first few years of each of the Detroit television stations, the first of which was WWJ-TV.  I report that my background in television knowledge was started in earnest 1972 when I began to collect information about television shows and stuff, something like collecting stamps.  But my days of watching television go back to the late 1950s.  Television was so much more fun and entertaining in the 1950s and 1960s and 1970s, as this document helps show.

The new broadcast network television season is here, and it is the most boring and undiverse and ugly season ever, and that is even though, it seems every series has a white, a black, an asian, a hispanic, a muslim, a gay, a lesbian..., and the guys and gals usually look like models, and the women have to look tough (like men).  One problem with the broadcast networks is there are so many spinoffs, and now there are three "FBI" shows (FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International), and there are three "Chicago" shows (Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D.), and there are three "NCIS" shows (NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: Hawai'i), and there are two "Law & Order" shows yet (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime), and that covers at least eleven hours (and CBS and NBC can repeat such shows on Saturdays).  A bunch of production groups have stolen (such as titles) from the past to make their series, and so viewers have The Equalizer, S.W.A.T., Magnum P.I., Walker, Nancy Drew, and The Flash, and I could press the issue and put Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and Supermarket Sweep in the group.  The "CSI" name is back, showing up in CSI: Vegas.  Again this season, there are repeats of Saturday Night Live on Saturdays on NBC, which airs new Saturday Night Live shows (often) after local eleven o'clock news programs of Saturdays.  There are no programs--really--for children, and I note that The Wonder Years, a promo for which that I saw pushed a scene about sexual issues, related particularly to panty hose for a girl, is not really for children.  Where are the pleasant and nice scripted programs for children?  Yes, there is yet America's Funniest Home Videos, which can be called a family show, and there are World's Funniest Animals (on The CW) and Penn & Teller Fool Us (on The CW).  Again this season, NBC with Dateline and ABC with 20/20 are pushing the same useless investigative-story crap on Friday, and each weekly series runs two hours.  For socialists and to push socialistic themes and mushy men, the prime-time broadcast-networks schedule has--A Million Little Things, New Amsterdam, The Big Leap, and The Good Doctor.  Plus, NBC--the socialistic/communistic network--is pushing out a social experiment called Home, Sweet, Home, and I say that the theme is bullshit.  Why would anyone want to see Home, Sweet, Home, once the premise of the series is known?  A production entity called "Global Citizen" is the driving force behind a series called The Activist (for CBS), and the first announced format for the series was a competition format, which was designed to get money in the hands of a winning "activist" (probably a hard-line socialist, such as an environmentalist) from international entities, and a number of weeks before the show was scheduled to go on the air, the format was changed (the competition feature was abandoned), but the show was still designed to be a hard-line socialistic-themed program. The Activist was not designed to be a series to present entertainment for entertainment sake; it was designed to be a political piece to please liberals, socialists, communists, progressives, and like bad people and to teach crap, and I report that such a show would never have gotten on the air in the heyday of broadcast network television, when pushing crap right in front of people or outwardly was not a goal.  Hey, there is professional football on Sunday nights and some Thursday nights, but in those shows, it seems viewers will be exposed from time to time to some socialistic crap, such as about "social justice" from announcers and at least some players (especially racist black players).

Let me break in with a thought about football.  Have you seen the advertisements for Levi jeans in which the company pushes the crap about "Buy Better.  Wear Longer."?  I have seen it several times since I published the previous edition of T.H.A.T., and one time was on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at about 1:42 p.m. (Detroit time).  The underlying theme is crap about saving the planet.

Now, I shall present a little closeup on one particular new series for the 2021-2022 broadcast television season, after I present a one-sentence aside.  For the edition of Michgan Travel Tips #206, which can be reached through this Travel #206 link, I showed off the five little models of nude gals that I made for my model of 40 Mile Point Lighthouse.  Having given that information, I can report that, when I saw promos for the new series for Fox TV called Our Kind of People, I thought that the main gal would be a wonderful subject for another nude gal for my model of 40 Mile Point Lighthouse, if I were to ever made another little nude gal.  On September 21, 2022, I began to watch the first episode of Our Kind of People, and I learned the main gal was Yaya DeCosta.  She seemed to be a cutie.  I watched and watched (for a while), and I began to see that the series was yet another semi-black racist piece.  The program was made to promote blackness and not really to entertain, and the show pushed black-racist things subtly, and, basically, all the black gals were ultimately bitchy black gals, and that includes the main performer (Yaya DeCosta), and the program was about elitism.  Maybe it was trying to be a black show like Dynasty of the 1980s, in which rich people were the focus, but in the original Dynasty, most of the characters came off a nice (in the long run).  Our Kind of People seems to be aimed at nastiness as a rule and sex stuff.  While watching, I thought Yaya DeCosta would be more pleasant to watch by being, for example, the main character in a new Fantasy Island or playing a character with the style of Mary Richards of Mary Tyler Moore (a series of the 1970s), which would make her liked for decades to come and would make the show watchable for years to come.  When episode was done running, I looked up Yaya DeCosta on Wikipedia (just to get a rough idea about her background), and I discovered she went to Brown University (of Providence, Rhode Island) and took up studies known as Africana Studies and International Relations, and I know Africana Studies and International Relations are crap stuff.  That information put me aback.  Here was a pretty gal--Yaya Decosta--whose head was probably full of crap.  Dang!  And I learned she was another black gal who had a child though not married, and that was bad.  What came to me later in the evening was a song from the 1960s.  In around 1963, a man named Jimmy Soul had a hit song in the United States of America, which was written by Frank Guida and Joseph Royster, and the song was done by other performers around the time.  The song was called If You Want to Be Happy (and it is available on YouTube), and one of the main pieces of lyrics in the song is--"...If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife.  So for my personal point of view, get an ugly girl to marry you....".  Yes, Yaya DeCosta is that feminist cliche in brown skin (who it seems needs no man, such as for her child), and I report that she is well described in the song and you would never want to know her intimately.  I say that that is too bad.  I do have to report that there are exceptions to the "pretty woman" rule, since there are exceptions to everything.  The series was made as a political piece--to push blackness, even black eliteness--and I say that the piece does not help the black community, which is suffering from high amounts of black-on-black crime and illiteracy, since the series offers up hints of gutter crap and non-likeable people.  So, guys, Yaya DeCosta is a gal with pretty brown skin and nice boobs, and you can enjoy seeing her, but keep that song in mind.

Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned).  I note that Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph.  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.  In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now.   [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]

Recently, I ran across something that I did not know.  I did know at the time that, in the 1960s, Channel 7, WXYZ-TV, young women posed as "Sunny Seven" (or "Sunny 7") in promotional campaigns for the station.  More than 60 young women--each having a one-month reign--were "Sunny Seven" gals.  I only know the names of a few of the gals.  By seeing editions of Detroit Jewish News recently, I found another name.  Around February 1967, Jeanne Fox was "Sunny 7" for the station.  Today, it seems to me, the station would never have a "Sunny 7" unless the gal was a black activitist (feminist) who was concerned with such crap as "social justice."  Okay, I shall say it (as real guy does)--it seems back in 1967, a fox was a "Sunny 7" for WXYZ-TV.

Announcement: Recently, I have added some new documents to the collection of my documents at the website for The Hologlobe Press.  One of the documents is entitled A Document that Dispels Myths and Nonsense of Science-Fiction Books, Movies, and Television Shows (A Logic Puzzle), which can be reached through this Myths link.  Another document is And So You Think You're Going to the Moon, Mars, or the Stars..., which can be reached by using this Moon link.  And yet another of the documents is entitled And the Stupid Women Shall Lead--and Lead Every Good Individual into Shit, Driven on by Communism, Feminism, and Defective Female Beliefs and Little-Girl Thinking, which can be reached through this Stupid Women link.  And here are other documents--A Review of What Television Controlled by Socialists and Communists Worked to Sell as Truth in Relation to the U.S. President Donald J. Trump Impeachment (at Impeachment) and T.H.A.T. Special Edition--The First Helicopter-based Traffic Reporters on Radio for the Detroit area of Michigan (at Helicopter Traffic).

Since I published the previous edition of Television History and Trivia, there has been a change in the broadcasting universe of the Detroit area.  For one, Channel 38.8 now carries a subchannel called "Digi TV," and what it looks like is that is has the same regular stuff, such as cooking shows, house-restoration shows, and such, that can be found all over the place on television, but, in this case, the stuff can be called British stuff and Australian stuff.  Why is it needed in the Detroit area?  The channel even carries Midsomer Murders, which is already seen in the Detroit area.  Elsewhere, Channel 31.7 now carries "Newsy", and it is supposed to be a middle-of-the-road news channel--not being set to one political agenda--and it comes from E.W. Scripps Co..  There had already been enough news junk on television in the Detroit area, such as from the Detroit television stations, before it showed up.  Hold it!  On October 7, 2021, I began to do my yearly survey of who was doing what newscasts on the Detroit area television stations.  I started by catching the weekday newscast on Channel 7.1 (WXYZ-TV) at 7:00 p.m., and it was anchored by Glenda Lewis, who is pretty and looks good in a sweater.  The newscast pushed out a story that seemed to hint that the Taylor Police Department was racist, and the newscast had Glenda Lewis doing an interview related to suicide, and the newscast had something about a sex-abuse scandal involving it seems a school-type official, and the newscast had a story about Geoffrey Fieger (the head at Fieger Law and a hard-line socialistic lawyer) and his filing a wrongful death suit (a possible racist thing), and the newscast finished with a story about the Detroit Symphony giving concerts again.  To almost everyone, that stuff from Glenda Lewis was useless and served no useful purpose.  It was crappy newscast (though not intended to be a half-hour filled with news reports), having no value!  So far, what little that I have seen of "Newsy" (a name that sounds like it was created by a little girl) makes Newsy seem to be a socialistic entity, aiming at the young generation of news viewers.  The description of Newsy by E.W. Scripps Co. does not seem to fit what I have seen on the screen so far, but, maybe, I will have more to say about the channel in the future.  By the way, E.W. Scripps Co. owns WXYZ-TV.  And in a way, Glenda Lewis seems to have a useless professional life, presenting stuff that almost no one needs, but she looks good in a tight sweater.

Looking at the Movies is a regular segment of Television History and Trivia documents, and it has been designed to show what movies that people saw on television during the first few years of a particular television station in the Detroit area, and in relation to WGPR-TV (the black-owned television station), which was on Channel 62, the time period is from 1975 to about 1978.  On Saturday, May 15, 1976, the station aired a movie for viewers at 11:00 p.m., and the movie was a historical drama, and it was aired under the Moonlight Theater umbrella title.  The movie was Cleopatra's Daughter, which was release in Italy, where it had been made, in 1960.  I have seen the movie through YouTube, and almost no one in the cast is known to me.  The main performer was Debra Paget, who was and is considered an American actress, who did acting in American movies and television shows, and she did work in Europe.  Another known face was that of Robert Alda, who was the father to Alan Alda, who years after the film was made would be involved with the American television series called M*A*S*H (for CBS-TV).  In movie promotional posters for the U.S., Ettore Manni, Yvette Lebon, and Betsy Bell got billing.  Cleopatra's Daughter as presented on YouTube is a not a sharp presentation, or it is a rather muddy presentation [Note: The copy of the film that I found was low-budget quality.].  Yet, to present a change of pace, Looking at the Movies offers up Cleopatra's Daughter, which is a story set about 4,500 years ago (and I bet the movie is just loaded with historal accuracy).  By the way, on Youtube, I ran across a video that uses a statue (head) of the real Cleopatra (it seems) to extrapolated what Cleopatra looked like with eyelashes and hair and such, and if the representation is good, then the real Cleopatra was no beauty.

And for the record, I note that I have heard about Karl Bohnak.  In September 2021, Karl Bohnak was fired as a weatherman for WLUC-TV, Channel 6, by the management of the station, since he would not get a COVID-19 vaccine shot.  WLUC-TV is located in Marquette, Michigan, and in the region known as the" the Upper Peninsula," and Marquette is the home of Northern Michigan University, and the town is a socialistic-type town.  Karl Bohnak was at the station for several decades.  [Arshad, Minnah.  "U.P. meteorologist: I was fired for refusing COVID-19 vaccine." Detroit Free Press, 21 September 2021, p. 5A.

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!

Vic

P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link.  I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man."  For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President.  I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.  Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
