Announcement

Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952, which is a federal law created by a U.S. Congress and a U.S. president, states--"...Whenever the President finds that entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate....".  On Friday, January 27, 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump, based on federal law, issued an order to temporarily--temporarily--blocked persons from seven countries of the world, one of which was Iran, a country the funds violent terrorism, from entering the the United States of America, and the period of time was set at four months.  A good person understands that the order issued by U.S. President Donald Trump was legal and right.  On Friday, February 3, 2017, U.S. District Judge James Robart (of a U.S. District Court) issued an order that U.S. President Donald Trump's order could not be followed, such as by immigration officers.  What the judge did was making a ruling that he had no legal right to do, given the wording existing in the "Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952.  Then, even though what the judge had done was wrong and has no basis in real law, the Donald Trump administration went to the 9th U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit (related to the U.S. District Court in which Judge James Robart exits) to get the judge's ruling shut down, and on Thursday, February 9, 2017, the U.S. Court of Appeals--particularly a three-judge panel for the court--ruled that it would not strike down or throw out U.S. District Judge James Robert's ruling, letting the ruling stand.  In essence, the three-judge panel noted that, for instance, aliens or non-citizens have the same rights as real citizens of the United States of America.  That is nonsense and idiocy.  By the way, the U.S. Court of Appeals also noted that the Executive Order made by U.S. President Donald Trump was racist (in a way) against Muslims, even though the Executive Order made no mention of "Muslims" and did not block Muslims from dozens of countries from all over the world from coming to the United States of America.  The entire event shows off only a little of the rottenness of the court system in the United States of America and people tied to the Democratic Party in the United States of America (a communistic-type political party), and it shows that the country is ending up with a precedence in which the courts will be able to make law about immigration (and other matters) and not a U.S. Congress and a U.S. president, and that is bad--very bad for good people in the United States of America.  Do you see how--now--a U.S. president, especially U.S. President Donald Trump, has been stopped from taking action to block bad people--non-citizens of the United States of America--from entering the United States of America?  Only a shit country has such idiocy, in which anyone can enter the country freely!

Hate the courts and teach hate of the courts to children--the courts are the enemy of good people!

During Barack Obama's days as the president of the United States of America, the main American media did a shitty job--it allowed Barack Obama to get away with lies (not a few little "white lies"--or should it be "black lies"?--but with really big lies on a regular basis), and the main American media withheld truth from good American people (non-communists and non-socialists), and based on that, you shall never be able to convince me of what I say in this paragraph for a theme is not true--I spent eight years showing up through the website for The Hologlobe the crap that Barack Obama and the media was putting out.  On Thursday, February 16, 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump did a press conference, and a good portion of the press conference was used to bash media, such as CNN and BBC (the latter of which is a foreign entity).  I think that event was good, but it was not as good as it could have been.  The media needed and needs to be beaten up even more.  The media has committed what I call "crimes against humanity"; for example, the media did shit work in covering Hillary Clinton's email scandal, which should have been pushed correctly has a violation of the Espionage Age, and, more recently, the media has not noted how the General Flynn event involved, for example, the leaking of government information by someone, which had been gained improperly (the information-leaking idea goes back to the Barack Obama administration and shows signs of the Barack Obama administration using communistic police-state tactics) [In addition, what rotten person released information--that should be classified--that the U.S. had officially been recording the Russian ambassador's telephone conversations (in relation to the General Flynn incident, which has been shown to have nothing to do with illegality)?].  This edition has some good stuff tied to television for you to learn about, and it has a lot of bad stuff tied to television to show you.

Every day, I try to find more information about television shows or television series that were produced at or produced by or broadcast by Detroit-area television stations, especially in the heyday of Detroit television--1947 to about 1980.  It can be a difficult task at times to determine such shows for a number of reasons.  For instance, any title for a show that I find, I have to determine if the show was a local show, a show that was syndicated, a show that came to Detroit from a national broadcast network, or a show that came to Detroit from only the regional network (such as the Mid-West Network, which tied several stations together in the Mid West before what was considered the national connection was established), and sometimes the title for the show discovered is incomplete or even wrong in television-program listings (an example of that is a series that one television-program-listings entity called Sewing Adventures in 1950, though, as I would discover, was really called Adventures in Sewing, which was a syndicated series).  Recently, I found a listing for a show called Music in the Morgan Manner, which was scheduled to air on March 15, 1950, at 8:30 p.m. on WXYZ-TV.  At the time that I found the show, I was doing a search on movies broadcast by television stations in the 1940s and very early 1950s.  Maybe the program was a movie or a television show.  It was supposed to fill a half-hour block of time.  I did searching in a bunch of sources for information.  One thing that I found was, in 1936, there was a movie--a "short"--called Music in the Morgan Manner.  That film is available on YouTube.  The film runs about 10 minutes.  The film features Russ Morgan, his orchestra, and two singers.  I then did what I could to find information about Russ Morgan.  Russ Morgan was a "big-band leader" for a while, especially in the 1930s, and to be able to make a film in 1936, he had to be at least a little well known.  Russ Morgan and his orchestra probably became known to a lot of people in the country by having radio shows on WJR (radio) in the 1930s; WJR was a "clear-channel station," allowing it to be heard over much of the country.  I can probably say that the heyday of Russ Morgan's career in the entertainment field was between 1930 and 1960, which is a long period of time [Note: Russ Morgan died in 1969 at the age of 65].  Between 1930 and 1956, he not only did radio programs on WJR-AM but also on WWJ-AM and WXYZ-AM, all of which were in the Detroit area.  In the 1950s, I found he did guest appearances on network television, and in the summer of 1956, he had a network television series called The Russ Morgan Show on CBS-TV.  Let me get back to Music in the Morgan Manner.  You might think the Music in the Morgan Manner presentation on WXYZ-TV was a showing of the 1936 film.  For that to be the case, the film would have had to been shown twice in the half-hour block set up for Music in the Morgan Manner, or it would have to have been a show that showed the film and had other material, such as an interview with Russ Morgan.  I have more of a problem here.  The Detroit Free Press gave me an indication that the program did not air, since it had Author Meets the Critics listed (for 8:30 p.m. on March 15, 1950).  By the way, Author Meets the Critics was a network television show.  Of course, maybe the television station pre-empted Author Meets the Critics so that it could air Music in the Morgan Manner.  Here comes another problem.  A day or so later--after having found Music in the Morgan Manner in a television program listing--I found the Detroit Free Press had some listings between about March 1950 and July 1950 for In the Morgan Manor.  The program had airings on several Wednesdays, several Sundays, and several Mondays in that time period (I have yet to find Music in the Morgan Manner listed in the Detroit Free Press in 1950).  Yet another program-listing entity had In the Morgan Manor sometimes, but it also had Music in the Morgan Manner sometimes.  So I have a little mess at the moment.  At the very least, I can say that Russ Morgan had a television series on WXYZ-TV in 1950.  I need to find the correct title.  I am not done looking for information about the series, but I wanted to say something in this edition of Television History and Trivia about Russ Morgan.  I especially want you to see Music in the Morgan Manner (from 1936) on YouTube.

So far for the 2016-2017, there have been no nice or pleasant television series put on the broadcast networks, and a lot of the programs are dark and violent, and the characters--even the so-called heroes--are people whom a good person should not want to show up in the home from week to day.  I was put off by APB (of Fox TV), Training Day (of CBS-TV), and Riverdale (of The CW).  One of the television programs that was the most off-putting was and is Doubt.
Doubt debuted on CBS-TV on February 15, 2017, and right from the opening scenes, I could see it was a show put together by "liberals" (communists and socialists) and freaks and was a highly unlikable show.  The main performer is Katherine Heigl.  Her character never had a pleasant facial express--the character came off as the typical angry feminist (man-hater), who was supposed to be that super-strong woman ("feminist").  I am not surprised Katherine Heigl came off as rotten, given I have heard reports that she is hard to work with on the set and is bitchy in nature.  Dreama Walker (a woman) was the tiny blond gal, and she came off as a pissy-ass little thing.  There were creepy secretary characters.  By the way, it looked as if the program was trying to be in the vane of The Good Wife series, which is now gone and which is directly being replaced by a spin-off called The Good Fight (for CBS-TV).  There were angry black guys in Doubt.  I say that the program hoped to reach success by having a transgender actor as a regular--Laverne Cox.  The voice of Laverne Cox was off-putting--it was a male-like voice in a body that was being pushed to be like female.  I did not watch the entire program.  I gave up on it about halfway in, and then I came back just to see the end credits.  The end credits hinted to me that the original pilot was a failure or a screwed-up piece.  The credits seemed to hint the program had been put together by two teams; for instance, almost every job listed in the end credits had two persons listed, and at the moment, I cannot think of the last time that I saw such a similar reporting of credits.  It was not as if two one-hour episodes were shown (and two sets of below-the-line teams were involved to make the two episodes)--the program was a single one-hour episode.  When television producers and such are so busy working to push as good bad politics and political ideas, such as socialism, the people have a tendency to lose sight on entertaining.  If there was a big reworking of the pilot, the reworking did not help much.  I was surprised the program was not created by one a female (such as a "feminist") or a more than one females.  Given credit for creating the series were Joan Rater and Tony Phelan.  Oh, I did not notice the gay issue being pushed hard in the portion of the program that I saw, but maybe it was in the portion that I did not see.  The gay issue will probably be pushed in future episodes (if the series lasts long enough, and it may last long enough since there are now enough rotten people (viewers) in the country to keep a bad series afloat (up to a point)).
Doubt is a crappy television series.

For a number of years, PBS stations have been airing a program called To the Contrary (which always features only women talking about things, usually related to politics), and, today, it can also be found on the World channel, which is being carried by WTVS-TV on broadcast channel 56.4.  On February 15, 2017, I saw a portion of an episode of To the Contrary.  The program was hosted by Bonnie Erbe, as it usually is, and had Manal Omar, Patrice Lee, Avis Jones-DeWeever, and Ashe Schow as the members of the panel.  Near the end of the episode, the gals got on the subject of families and friends being at odds because of the election of Donald Trump as the U.S. president, and the gals--all the gals really--pushed out the idiotic idea that, in essence, it should not be the case--people should not be at odds.  The collage of words from the gals all came off as crap that silly women--being more social in nature than men are and wanting people to get along--are very likely to push, even when getting along means good people have to accept crap and crappy ways, an example of which is socialism.  I cringed when I heard Manal Omar push out the idiotic female-type crap noting that we should feel each other's pain.  The theme of the entire segment came off as something working to make people less willing to take on bad--communism and socialism--and beat bad down.  I state that, if a family member, supports communism and socialism, you do not feel the person's pain and be nice, you understand that what the person stands for can hurt millions and millions of persons and is currently hurting millions and millions of persons all over the world.  You do not be nice to shitty people, even family members.  The To the Contrary segment came of as silly and foolish women crap, which is dangerous to the safety of good people, and it is like the type of thinking that resulted in Barack Obama becoming the U.S. president and screwing up the country and the world for eight years (and maybe more).  [Note: To the Contrary began in 1992.]

Announcement for the novice again (reworked in August 2015): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, go to Fox News Channel (which has to be treated as wishy-washy and suspect, showing signs of mostly supporting the Republican Party establishment, which is rotten), WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama, as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned with it in presenting political stories and events, and you should discover CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV avoid covering things that make Barack Obama look bad or show his true nature, which could harm you).  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.  [Note: The Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, U.S. Senator John McCain, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]

On Sunday, February 12, 2017, I was watching the Cozi network at about 12:00 p.m. (Detroit time).  A commercial of sorts showed up, which featured a person called John Cena, who, for one, has guest hosted on Today (a program shown on NBC-TV, which is the communistic-based media entity).  One portion of what John Cena said was--"...To love America is to love all Americans....".  That is bullshit.  John Cena was selling bullshit.  He was pushing the idea to blindly love all Americans.  I state that you never blindly love all Americans and you do not have to love all Americans to love America.  Just because a person is an "American" does not mean the person is good and a person to be loved, and a good example of that is Barack Hussein Obama, a perpetual liar and a follower and promoter of communism and Sharia, which are rotten political systems. [Note: A good person teaches children to hate Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and the Obama girls, who are going to be rotten adults, based on who guided their teaching.]  Remember--When you see John Cena, whose claim to fame is being a fighter (a low-level thought job), you are seeing a rotten man.  By the way, the odds are good that you will see him on NBC-TV aired programs (NBC-TV is known for putting people on the air who support communism and socialism and Sharia).

On Friday, February 11, 2017, a very bad man of Detroit died--Mike Ilitch.  A lot of praise was given to the man over the next few days, especially by radio people, television people, and newspaper people of the Detroit area; for instance, WDIV-TV (an affiliate of NBC-TV) used Steve Garagiola a lot on the weekend to say good things about Mike Ilitch.  Mike Ilitch became rich by creating and running Little Caesars (the pizza company), and he owned the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers for many years.  Yes, he made a lot of money, which does not bother me, and he made a lot of money for his family members so that they could live (and live well).  Yet, a smart person knows, ultimately, Mike Ilitch and his family have promoted as good--socialism and communism; for instance, they were big fund-raisers for Barack Hussein Obama, a highly rotten man.  There is that rule--When a man supports and promotes as good a bad man, such as Barack Hussein Obama, the man is a bad man.  It is a rule that a lot of people have never learned or have forgotten (maybe purposely so that they can yet be tied to making money in association with the Ilitch family).  By the way, from the very first report about Mike Ilitch's dying, I was tired of hearing the reports and seeing all the reports, such as in the Detroit Free Press, which is that communistic-based newspaper (populated by such rotten people as Mitch Albom, Stephen Henderson, Rochelle Riley, and Nancy Kaffer).
[Note: Yet another rotten person at the Detroit Free Press is John Gallagher, whom I have yet to see on a television program aired by a Detroit television station, such as a Sunday-morning political-based show.  On Sunday, February 12, 2017, John Gallagher had an idiotic commentary piece published in the Detroit Free Press (Gallagher, John.  "Would Ilitch's dream story be possible today?" Detroit Free Press, 12 February 2017, p. 11A.).  By the way, John Gallagher is another person at the Detroit Free Press who pushes out the idea that "capitalism" stops poor people from making money, since all the money goes to the rich.  That is crap!  The article had such nonsense as--"...But it's fair to ask whether life such as Ilitch's even would be possible for a working-class kid today. With income inequality getting wider and social mobility growing more difficult, a youth who starts out washing cars--as Ilitch did--is more likely to stay in dead-end jobs than to rise above them...." and "...I join all in celebrating the life of Mike Ilitch.  His achievements made Detroit a better place.  But I look forward to the day when the opportunities that were available to a working-class kid of his generation are again available to all our youth of today and tomorrow.".  A person has to ask who killed the opportunities for what John Gallagher calls "working-class kids" [Note: "Working class"--this term is what communists use.].  For more than three decades, the Democratic Party has controlled Detroit, and Detroit went to crap--it went in to bankruptcy and the school system went to crap and debt, and that had nothing to do with "capitalism"--it had to do with communistic and socialistic leaders and even black racists, such as Coleman A. Young Sr.  How did Mike Ilitch make Detroit better, given the City of Detroit went to crap while Mike Ilitch was making big money?  And while more and more socialists and communists have taken over universities and colleges, the price of going to school has gone much higher than it should have, and that is why so many persons are in debt (in relation to college loans) and it is hard for people to afford university and college tuition.  [Note: See the previous edition of Television History and Trivia to learn about the types of professors that can be found in universities today and get paid big money for offering idiot thought--it is the George Lakoff section.]  There is a logic problem with John Gallagher's writing.  When you look at John Gallagher's piece, you discover John Gallagher is yet another stupid and rotten man, pushing bullshit.  If you see John Gallagher on television, know he is a rotten thinker and a rotten man--and a not a person that you have to love to love America.  Incidentally, Mitch Albom had a commentary piece about Mike Ilitch, which was also published in the Detroit Free Press and was filled with bullshit and flap doodle, and it was entitled "Saying good-bye to a friend of the fans" (Albom, Mitch.  "Saying good-bye to a friend of the fans."  Detroit Free Press, 12 February 2017, pp. 1A and 6A.).  Yes, there was so much praise for a rotten man (Mike Ilitch) from rotten people at the Detroit Free Press.  (And I did not even note Stephen Henderson's piece here.)]

It has become commonplace for me to show up the rotten people tied to television in Television History and Trivia documents--national or Detroit--because rotten people are commonplace, and I have more in this edition of T.H.A.T..

On Monday, February 13, 2017, I was exposed for the first time to a truly stupid and rotten women on WHPR-TV, Channel 33, and it was a woman who called and calls herself "Marli B.".   By the way, WHPR-TV is a hot bed of rotten people.  The show with Marli B. was Get in the Know, and it is a weekly show, airing on Monday mornings.  The title does not fit with what is on the show!  Actually, I tuned into the show when the show only had a few minutes left to run; it had started near the top of the 10:00 o'clock hour in the morning.  In the portion of the show that I happened to catch, Marli B. said something like--A lot of clothes we wear are made in prisons.  It's slavery....".  Can you tell Marli B. is black (it is a television station that mostly has blacks as on-air people)?  Marli B. seems to believe the prison population of the country (which is somewhere around 2.2-million related to federal and state prisons) is making most of the clothing used in the United States of America.  Marli B.'s thought is an idiotic thought and an illogical thought.  Marli B. teaches nonsense!  Marli B. also said, for instance, something like--"When you stop slavery, you stop labor.".  What the hell does that mean?  Marli. B. seems to be stuck on the theme of slavery, and she is so stuck on it, she rattles off idiotic thoughts.  It looks as if Get in the Know began in late November or early December of 2016, so it is very likely she has been passing along nonsense on television for bunch of weeks.  It is a sign that Detroit is not getting better.

In the past, I have talked about Hassan Aleem and Carl Williams, who are two black racists who have a show on WHPR-TV, Channel 33, called HR Issues (the "HR" stands for "Hood Research").  On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, I happened to tune into the program at about 9:35 a.m. (I was running the channel tuner to the "Channel 38" group, while I was having breakfast).  Right away, I was exposed to idiocy from Hassan Aleem (the man who sits at the left).  Hassan Aleem said something like--The Headlee Amendment allows the government to spend money whatever way it wants.  I report that that is wrong and that it is idiotic thought.  "The Headlee Amendment" (which only pertains to Michigan) was added to the Constitution for the State of Michigan in 1978, and the focus in on tax rates and property.  Once again, dumb-ass Hassan Aleem (with dopey Carl Williams at his side) taught viewers nonsense.  I turned the channel.

By the way, did you catch Nick Cannon's special program on Showtime on Friday, February 10, 2017, which was called Nick Cannon: Stand Up, Don't Shoot?  With the title used, Nick Cannon showed up more of his rottenness.  Nick Cannon based the title on the big lie about the shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, in which a rotten black man who was killed while attacking a police officer.

If you have read the entire document to this point, you realized I have not only attack rotten "blacks" but also rotten "whites," such as Nancy Kaffer (of the Detroit Free Press).  Nancy Kaffer sometimes shows up on Detroit-area television and pushes out shit from her mind.  Another white gal whose work I have seen in the Detroit Free Press is Georgea Kovanis.  Incidentally, Nancy Kaffer and Georgea Kovanis sort of look the same--like communist women (based on their photographs in the newspaper).  I have yet to see Georgea Kovanis on Detroit-area television, but I might some time soon, given what rottenness she has in her mind.  On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, Georgea Kovanis had one of her articles in the Detroit Free Press (Kovanis, Georgea.  "A new kind of Valentine's Day." Detroit Free Press, 14 February 2017, p. 1C.).  Look at how the piece begins--"Valetine's Day is today and most years, I'd say that flowers or dinner or jewelry or all of the above are great ways for men to show the women in their lives they care.  This year is different.  This year, women are under attack by men: A president--who has bragged about forcing himself sexually on women--and by a male-dominated Republican Party that seems intent on stripping us of our rights and enacting laws that could negatively impact our health, safety and well-being.  And the trickle-down has made the current climate so hostile to women that even a Super Bowl commercial for the automaker Audi, which addressed gender equality and equal pay for equal work, was the subject of an Internet backlash; commentators called it liberal propaganda, even though women still make 79 cents on average for every $1 men make....".  All that Georgea Kovanis passed along is bullshit!  If you see Georgea Kovanis on television, understand you are not seeing just a misinformed women but you are seeing a highly rotten women--a big-time liar and propagandist.  She acts like communists and fascists, especially like the ones who worked for Adolph Hitler in the 1930s and 1940s in Germany.
[Note: On Tuesday, February 14, 2017 the Detroit Free Press pushed out highly rotten stuff on the front page and more.  The newspaper had an article entitled "RISE OF A LIBERAL TEA PARTY" (Gray, Kathleen, and Kristen Jordan Shamus.  "RISE OF A LIBERAL TEA PARTY," Detroit Free Press, 14 February 2017, pp 1A and 5A.), and the article entitled "Accidental activist becomes voice for Michigan Feminists" (Shamus, Kristen Jordan.  "Accidental activist becomes voice for Michigan Feminists." Detroit Free Press, 14 February 2017, pp. 1A and 4A.).  Notice women wrote the pieces!  The pieces were not news--really.  The pieces were propaganda pieces--pushing the communistic women's views--that used about two full pages of Section A (of the newspaper), which only had eight pages (and page eight was advertising).  Boy, I am glad such pieces did not exist in the Detroit Free Press in the 1940s and 1950s and 1960s or I would have a harder time finding true information about television in those decades.  We are in "The Pseudo Information Age and the Age of Ignorance," especially in relation to newspapers and television news, which is being pushed along by women.

Oh, I am not done with Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

Frank Beckmann is a radio-show host (on The Frank Beckmannn Show) for WJR-AM, Detroit, and he has been on television in the Detroit area, and he can be called a "conservative" (an "anti-enslavist"), though at times I have heard him pass along little bits of idiot thought.  On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in the ten o'clock hour in the morning, one of this guests was Professor Peter Hammer, who is the director of the Damon Keith Center for Human Rights at Wayne State University, Detroit (a place where I received a BA (radio-television-film) in 1977.  Wayne State University has gone to crap since the 1970s!  Professor Peter Hammer has had close associations with the Population Heritage Council and the ACLU, communistic-type entities, and, by the way, he is gay.  Peter Hammer passed along such bullshit as charter schools have hurt public schools by taking money away from public schools.  That is shit thought!  There have been private schools for years, and if you look at, for example, Michigan, people who have put their children in public schools not only pay to have their children in private schools but also pay property taxes, which help fund public schools [Note: There is a tie-in with the Healee Amendment].  As the numbers of children goes down in public schools, should not public schools not need as much money.  Yet, Peter Hammer pushed the idea that public schools need more money.  Peter Hammer did not say how Detroit schools went to crap because of corruption (reported in newspapers, even the Detroit Free Press) and mismanagement (remember the recent convictions of school principles for rotten behavior).  Peter Hammer passed along such pseudo-intellectual terms as--"Opportunity desert" and "opportunity mapping."  When the interview was complete, I was well aware Peter Hammer passed along lies, confused logic, clichés, unfounded ideas, and words purposely used to sell fluff and mush.  I can even say that Peter Hammer passed along convoluted thought.  If you see Peter Hammer on television, be aware you are seeing a man who works to teach you crap.  Oh, Peter Hammer happens to be "white."  Peter Hammer is a "white" piece of shit!  Peter Hammer is your enemy!
[Note: "Economic justice", "food deserts", "opportunity deserts", and "opportunity mapping"--these terms when they hit your mind should make you fearful of the user, since the user is working to lie to you and teach you crap.]

Oh, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, a repeat of an episode of the series called Sherri Jackson Money Making Diva (a local Detroit production) aired from roughly 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on WHPR-TV, and the episode was a repeat episode.  Although Sherri Jackson pushes out that her show--a weekly series--is supposed to offer money-saving tips and money-making tips, there was basically nothing offered about those topics in this episode.  She had one telephone caller who noted that Donald Trump was not a legitimate president, since he lost the popular election [Note: Donald Trump did win through the combined popular-vote/Electoral College format].  Sherri Jackson showed herself to be a rather stupid woman, being not in favor of the Electoral College system.  I state that her show was boring and useless and even forgettable.

From 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, WHPR-TV played the video and audio portion of a radio show that was airing live, and it was a truly bad piece of presentation.  As a radio show, for example, the three persons involved were boring, had little to say, chuckled at lot a things that were not worth chuckling about, praised each other (for no good reason), wasted time, and spoke in sloppy manners.  However, two songs--tunes--were played.  One song was "Stop Her on Sight (S.O.S.)", which was a popular tune from Edwin Starr in 1966, and in relation to the entire half-hour, the song was a pleasant two minutes or so.  Another song was "Float On" (which was performed by The Floaters), and that was another relief from what was a very bad radio show with video (which had three viewing panels on the screen at once, each of which was a different camera shot).

On Friday, February 24, 2017, I came home in the evening, after having visiting a person who had recently had a "TAVR" operation (or "TAVI" operation) and a pacemaker operation, and I turned on the television set, and I slipped through the channels, till I reached 33.1 (WHPR-TV), which was in the middle of running a program called Ask Your Welfare Rights.  This time, there was only "Miss Maureen" (Maureen Taylor) hosting (usually, two gals host the program).  In the past, I have shown the rottenness of Miss Maureen (a black racist).  This time, Miss Maureen was draped in a scarf-like thing that looked like the flag of the United States of America.  During the portion of the program that I saw, Donald Trump was one theme and nothing to do with "welfare" was talked about, and she had telephone callers who were idiots, and much of the time was used to talk about movie theaters that used to exist in Detroit.  To one caller, Miss Maureen said something like--Not only are you a patriot, you are my comrade.".  "Comrade"--this is a word commonly used by communists.  I was not surprised to hear it from Miss Maureen.

Here, I have to show up another rotten person who is regularly seen on WHPR-TV, and that person is Billy Jones, who has a television show called Talk Beat Jones.  I happened to tune in to an repeat episode already in progress on Sunday, February 26, 2017, and it was around 8:30 p.m. (Detroit time).  Billy Jones passed along the nonsense that the "people" (of the country) did not elect Donald Trump to be the U.S. President--Hillary Clinton won.  Billy Jones pushed out the crap that the "Electoral College" elected Donald Trump, and the people of the "Electoral College" were allowed to vote for whomever they wanted and not follow the the rules of their states.  Yes, Billy Jones worked to teach shit to, for example, Detroiters (most of whom are black)!  It was a black man telling blacks shit!  The "Electoral College" system does not allow the people in it to vote for whomever they want.  Basically, in relation to each state, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump fought to win the popular vote, so, in essence, there were 50 popular-vote elections (the "50" is related to the "50" states).  Because of how the "Electoral College" system is set up, each state has a set number of "Electoral College" votes.  When the general election is over, each state presents its "Electoral Collage" vote amount (related to a person) at the "Electoral College" vote count.  That is the basic idea of the "Electoral College."  Donald Trump had more "Electoral College" votes than Hillary Clinton had, and people in the "Electoral College"-vote event (a convention-like thing) did not vote anyway they wished.  Billy Jones is one reason ignorance is the rule in Detroit--for instance, it is idiot blacks teaching shit on television to for the most part blacks.
[Note: While I wrote the previous paragraph, I had the radio tuned to WJR-AM, specifically The Frank Beckmann Show (it was the 10:00 a.m. hour), and Frank Beckmann's guest (on the telephone) was Coleman Young Jr., who is going to run to be the next mayor of Detroit.  Remember--Coleman Young Sr. was a black communist and a black racist and was instrumental in killing Detroit.  In the past, I have show through documents that are available on the Internet at the website for The Hologlobe Press how rotten Coleman Young Jr. is.  During the interview on WJR-AM, Coleman Young Jr. showed again his rotten and his ignorance.  Coleman Young Jr. talked about how the schools in Detroit have been run into the ground, but he did not note how the beginnings and most of the damage took place when he father was the mayor.  Incidentally, Coleman Young Jr. said that the educational system in Detroit is educating kids on a 19th-century model, though it is not the 19th century anymore.  His argument is crap on many levels; for one, his father then was educating on the 19th-century model.  Coleman Young Jr. passed along the crap--the old cliché line--that he is going to "invest in the people."   Coleman Young Jr. said that he was going to put people back to work (which is the same crap that Barack Obama said for eight years while he was the U.S. president).  [Government cannot put people to work--it is not possible--but Coleman Young Jr., who comes off as another slug black communist, continues to push the crap.]  Coleman Young Jr. noted that 40 percent of the people living in Detroit are in poverty, so he said that he wants to give dollars to the people.  Coleman Young Jr. said that you cannot talk about American culture without putting race in the center of it.  A smart and good person can see through the information in the previous sentence that Coleman Young Jr. is a black racist--everything is racism to him, or every time he can he pushes the idea that "whites" caused all the crap in Detroit--the poverty and ignorance.  And I would not be surprised to learn, in the future, that the people of Detroit voted make the shit-head man known as Coleman Young Jr. the next mayor in Detroit.]

Oh, on Sunday, February, 26,  2017, I did not watch the presentation of the Academy Awards on ABC-TV.  I knew the event was going to be a collection of rottenness, some of which I would track down later.  Jimmy Kimmel was the host, and he often put down U.S. President Donald Trump, and Jimmy Kimmel was often crude; for example, Jimmy Kimmel passed along the inappropriate theme tied to Donald Trump's morning bowel movement [Note: The first live broadcast of the Academy Awards was in 1953.  Since then, some of the hosts have been Donald O'Connor, Fredric March, Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis, Claudette Colbert, Celeste Holm, David Niven, Laurence Olivier, Tony Randall, Frank Sinatra, Ingrid Bergman, Warren Beatty, Walter Matthau, Helen Hayes, Jack Lemmon, and Sammy Davis Jr.  I doubt any of them, such as Helen Hayes and Ingrid Bergman, would have been crude enough to talk about morning bowel movements on television.  Of course, Jimmy Kimmel probably thought he had to follow up on the rotten style of such rotten hosts and people as Chris Rock and Seth MacFarlane and Jon Stewart, all of whom are supporters of communists and socialists and black shits (such as Barack Hussein Obama)].  The audience was all happy--greatly so--when a woman named Annousheh Ansari read a statement from the winner of the Best Foreign Film--Asghar Farhadi, an Iranian, who did not show up for event because he was protesting Donald Trump's temporary ban related to letting on some people (from countries tied to terrorism) enter the country, even calling the rule from Donald Trump as an "inhuman law"; of course Iran was one of the counties tied to the ban, and Iran is a country that has "Sharia" (Islamic law) as the basis of everything (from law to daily life), and it is a country loaded with racism and enslaved people, especially women (who are second-class citizens) and gays (who can be beaten and killed).  At the end of the show, the presentation for the "Best Picture" went to crap.  The wrong film was announced, and things had to be straightened out.  I state that I believe the winning film won not because it was a good film that people really wanted to see and will want to see in the future but because it was a political piece pushing as good--drugs, gay lifestyle, and LGBTQ lifestyle and because it had an all-black cast.  Was it not last year that a lot of blacks were screaming they were poorly represented by the Oscars?  The Oscar telecast for 2017 had the second-lowest rating ever [Pallotta, Frank.  "Oscars have crazy ending, but second lowest rating in its history." CNN.com, 27 February 2017, 3:13 p.m. ET.].

On Monday, February 27, 2017, a highly rotten political movie-type show showed up on ABC-TV--the first episode of a mini-series called When We Rise.  It was not an entertainment piece in any form.  It was a hard-line propaganda piece (like a long-form version of show carried on WTVS-TV for many years called Between The Lines).  Mini-series was heavy-handed.  It had high-ranking communism-supporting performers, such as Rose O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg, both of whom are highly crude and unlikable.  It was nothing more than a piece designed to pushed gay lifestyle and LGBTQ lifestyle as great and wonderful, and the program did it so much to push that that it was not watchable (the program had an angry feel).

Oh, I have to pass along a disappointment of mine.  On Thursday, March 2, 2017, I just happened to tune into the 11:00 p.m. newscast for WDIV-TV, Channel 4.1, and it was about 11:15 p.m. when I tuned in.  The program was in the middle of a news segment in which Kimberly Gill was focusing on a man named Bryan Stevenson.  I was not running a recording machine!  Rats!  In essence, Kimberly Gill was working to present Bryan Stevenson as an important person with wonderful ideas.  Bryan Stevenson is, for one, the executive director of an entity called the "Equal Justice Institute."  He was recently in Michigan--the Royal Oak Music Theater (Royal Oak, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit)--for an event called the "Gala and Golden Apple Awards."  I heard black racist crap from Bryan Stevenson and idiotic ideas in the so-called news segment.    Also the segment had some foolish and stupid young people making comments, some of whom were Adam Harris and Emma Girolamai.  When the segment was done, I figured I could see the newscast--especially Kimberly Gill's rotten segment--through a replay at the website for the station, but it never showed up, so I am unable to give details of the rottenness that was passed along in the segment.  At least, I am now well aware of the rottenness in the mind of Kimberly Gill, who is the woman who replaced Carmen Harlan at the station.

On Wednesday, March 8, 2017, the staffers at WDIV-TV showed off more of their rottenness--the station aired a program entitled Failure in Flint: The Crisis Continues.  The program focused on the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, which had begun about 1000 days previously (when the operators and politicians of Flint changed over to a different water supply (the Flint river) and when water-treatment techniques were done poorly).  [Note: You are urged to see Michigan Travel Tips #155, which can be reached through this Travel #155 link, to see more of the rottenness of the people related to the Flint water crisis, especially the citizens of Flint).  The program was hosted by Devin Scillian and Kimberly Gill, and the reporters were Hank Winchester, Kevin Dietz, Karen Drew, and Dr. Frank McGeorge.  Generally speaking, the people of the station who were involved in the program never really talked about the root cause of the Flint water crisis--the people of Flint elected rotten people  (such as black communists and idiots) to run Flint, and things went to crap.  [Note: By the way, for the election of November 2017, the people of Flint elected a number of rotten people to the city council, such as two who had had bankruptcies in the past and one of whom had been in jail for murder.]  One problem with the program is it had "Faces of Flint" segments at the breaks, where, for instance, photographs of Flint people were shown, and it was designed to make the viewer feel sympathy for the people of Flint, though the people of Flint put themselves in the mess.  I state--In essence, the people of Flint shit in their own nest (or nests)!  During the television show, viwers learned how the children of Flint were affected adversely and how money was being used to help them, such as through grants, and people in the Flint area were, for one, being given free cooking classes.  A really big piece of crap in the show was a segment tied to educating a few children.  The segment (hosted by Kimberly Gill) noted that little, little children were being given the opportunity to decide their own path of learning--it is some of that "progressive" learning crap.  I state that little children know nothing of the world--they should not be allowed to decided what they want to learn (that is something that should be done by adults--good adults).  Some of the people interviewed for the program, especially citizens, sounded like idiots and stupid or uneducated people, and one was a young woman named Genetha Campbell, who had a little boy in a special learning program.  Oh, the television special even got the "lead paint" idea incorporated into the mix, even though the show was about the water crisis.  And at one point--for a few moments--the show showed water pipes with corrosion in them, and to me, it came off as a garbage moment, since the WDIV-TV staff was trying to push the idea--without evidence--that the pipes were all bad because they had been damage by the Flint water crisis.  In the end, I say that the special Failure in Flint: The Crisis Continues was a propaganda piece, pushed along by communistic-like journalists and such.

As more and more women got into the news business, the news business went more and more to crap, and that is because most of the women were "feminists" (communists and socialists).  By the way, the older I get, the more I am well aware women are less suited to, for one, being real thinkers than men are and are more likely to pass along emotions and not real news and base stories on emotions and not logic (women have a different process of thinking than men have, which has developed over centuries and centuries--men and women have developed different and importance skills so that, for one, children can be raised well).  The big push to get more and more women in the news business really began in the 1980s, such as simply to make women supposedly more equal in the workplace and get more women into high leverls of companies (even if they lacked the proper skills), and now, it is possible to find news entities in which most of the staffers are women [Note: Go to your local little down newspaper and see what you see].  On Wednesday, March 8, 2017--which had women pushing the "A Day without Women" idea and which pushed for women to not buy from non-women-run businesses and to have women not show up for work--I heard Roop Raj of WJBK-TV, particularly the morning block of programming, pass along crap.  Roof Raj reported that most of the behind-the-scenes people of the morning block of programming, which includes The Nine segment, are women.  I state that the morning block of programming is fluff, such as cooking stuff and happy talk and gossip and silly stuff and little exercise stuff and traffic reports (on television) and weather filler (done over and over again).  Roop Raj noted that the program block could not be done without all the women around.  Such bullshit that was!

[Hey, maybe it would have been better if all the woman who work at WJBK-TV had not shown up at the station for "A Day without Women"--there would have been less fluff on television.]

In T.H.A.T. #153, I made a little mention of The New Celebrity Apprentice.  Around March 4, 2017, I learned Arnold Schwarzenegger was not going to return for another season of The New Celebrity Apprentice, and he was citing the idea that the just-finished edition of the program died in the ratings because viewers and sponsors were driven away from the program because Donald Trump's ties to the program.  That is bullshit!  Arnold Schwarzenegger is a liar (which is not surprising, given he is a "Democrat").  I state that people stayed away from The New Celebrity Apprentice because it looked like a program filled with freaks and defectives.  I first learned about Arnold Schwarzenegger's idiotic thought in an article in the Detroit Free Press ("NAMES+FACES: 'Schwarzenegger won't be back.'"  Detroit Free Press, 4 March 2017, p. 2C.).  That same article also made me aware Patrick Stewart (who played the captain in Star Trek: The Next Generation on television) is applying to be a U.S. citizen so that he can fight to oppose Donald Trump.  I state that Patrick Stewart showed himself to be a rotten foreigner (from England) through his reason to become a U.S. citizen.  Donald Trump is not a communist, so Patrick Stewart is going to become a U.S. citizen so that he came work to oppose and beat down Donald Trump (an anti-communist) and lead to the success of communists--the people of the Democratic Party, such as Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.  That shows that Patrick Stewart is a communist-type, since if he is not an anti-communist and he does not support anti-communists, he must be a communist.  The U.S.A. does not need Patrick Stewart as a U.S. citizen--he has shown himself to be an enemy of the country.  Remember--Patrick Stewart comes from a socialist type country that is evolving in to crap, given it is also adopting the political ideas of Sharia (Islamic law).  When you see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Patrick Stewart, understand you are seeing rotten people!
[Note: Seth MacFarlane (the producer and writer) is a supporter of socialists and communists for public office, such as Barack Obama.  Seth MacFarlane is involved in putting Family Guy and American Dad! on television.  Patrick Stewart has done voice work for Family Guy and American Dad!  Do you see what type of "American dad" and "family guy" Patrick Stewart is really likely to support?]

Hey, let me really--really, really--follow up and add to the news media theme of the first main paragraph (the introduction paragraph) of this edition of Television History and Trivia.  On February 24, 2017, a number of news-type entities reported that the University of Michigan was going to start up a new "class" at the university for students in the fall of 2017; for example, an entity called MLive.com had a story about the class or course [Slagler, Martin.  "'Fake news' subject of new course at University of Michigan."  MLive.com, 24 February 2017, 7:23 a.m. (updated at 7:24 a.m.).].  By the way, I first became aware of the proposed course through an article in the Detroit Free Press, which is that communistic newspaper (as I have shown in the past).  The class will be called "Fake News, Lies and Propaganda: How to Sort Fact from Fiction."  Instrumental in setting up the course is a librarian--who is named Doreen R. Bradley--who has no associated with "news" in her background; for instance, she earned a B.A. in stuff related to "French" or "France," such a language and literature, and she has not been associated with putting together or reporting news, such as for a number of decades (basically, she is a person who is skilled in library science and who has been associated with the library system at the University of Michigan since 1991).  I ask here--What person associated with the University of Michigan is going to teach the course?  I state that Doreen R. Bradley is not qualified to run it well, given, for example, the University of Michigan is a "liberal"  university (associated with promoting socialism and communism).  Hey, Tim Kiska is a member of the University of Michigan, specializing in communications.  Tim Kiska wrote the book entitled From Soupy to Nuts! A History of Detroit Television.  That book I have shown through numerous editions of Television History and Trivia to be a book that is a rotten piece (it is loaded with wrong information, and yet people praise Tim Kiska), and I have shown that Tim Kiska is a bad journalist.  I have learned the proposed course or class at the University of Michigan will help people get skills at evaluating news and get skills to find trusted statistics.  In the eight years of the Barack Obama administration, the Barack Obama administration lied about the employment numbers, and, as I can prove through my documents about Barack Obama that are available through the website for The Hologlobe Press, Barack Obama was and is a perpetual liar (and yet the University of Michigan did not put together a course that would help students learn of Barack Obama "fake news" or lies).  Hey, let me make a little aside here.  On February 24, 2017, I caught a small portion of a repeat broadcast of PBS Newshour, and when I joined the broadcast, the program was into the usual segment featuring so-called counter-point discussion with David Brooks and Mark Shields.  David Brooks is said to be the "Republican" or sort of "conservative."  I have shown in the past that he is a communist!  Mark Sheilds is the "Democrat" in the discussion, and that means he is clearly the communist (given the "Democratic Party" in the United States of America is a communistic party).  At one point, the discussion got to the recent event in which U.S. President Donald Trump had sort of excluded "liberal" journalists in an event, and, in essence, the discussion was also related to Donald Trump's putting down as a rule the news media (which, I say, is deserved), such as for putting out "fake news."  The Donald Trump's treatment of the "liberal" press led to Mark Shields's saying something like--It is the first step to a dictatorship.  On December 4, 2012, U.S. President Barack Obama met with only members of MSNBC (the communistic-based news entity), such as Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell, and Al Sharpton (the black racist).  That information shows that it is not as if Barack Obama did not do a thing that was like "a first step to a dictatorship."  In addition, over eight years, I watched or listened to numerous press conferences and such held by Barack Obama (as the U.S. president), and it was commonplace for Barack Obama to only have questions asked of him by the "liberal media."  By the way, other times during which Barack Obama met exclusively with only members of the "liberal" press were in May 2013, November 2013, and March 2015.  I state--The class about "fake news" is very likely to be rotten and filled with idiocy and be designed to promote as good the "liberal" press (which is filled with liars and defectives).  Also, I wonder if Doreen R. Bradley will try to have guest speakers show up, such as Mitch Albom, Stephen Henderson, Rochelle Riley, Nancy Kaffer, John Gallagher, and Georgea Kovanis, all of whom are rotten people, some of which has been proven in this document.  Will the class have David Brooks or Mark Sheilds as guest speakers?  Based on all the facts available, the class will be a waste of taxpayer dollars and students' dollars.  It is more bullshit!  (And you now know more about what Doreen R. Bradley really stands for.)

By the way, in the next edition of Television History and Trivia, I will have one good thing to pass along--history and notes about Dione Lucas, a woman who can be called the first nationally famous television cooking host to show up in Detroit.

And now I get to the Looking at the Movies segment of this edition of Television History and Trivia.  I started the segment in the February 2017 edition of Television History and Trivia.  The segment looks at what television stations in the Detroit area (WWJ-TV, WJBK-TV, and WXYZ-TV) were showing for movies between about February 1948 and 1953.  Since March 10, 2017, is a Friday, I have decided to show you a movie that was aired on a Friday years ago.  On Friday, June 12, 1953, WWJ-TV, Channel 4, which is now known as WDIV-TV, aired a movie under the umbrella title called Friday Theater.  Around the time, the station also used Monday Theater, Tuesday Theater, and Wednesday Theater to show movies late in the evening.  The movie for viewers on June 12, 1953, was Stand-in.  The movie can be found on YouTube today.  Some of the performers in the movie were or are Joan Blondell and Humphrey Bogart.  So, pretend it is the evening of Friday, June 10, 1953, which is a summer day, and pretend you are tuned to Channel 4 on an RCA Victor television set.  Turn down the lights in the room.  Go to YouTube, and watch Stand-in.

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!

Vic

P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link.  I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man."  For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Christ Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President.  I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.  Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often and usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
