- - - Travel Thoughts for Everyone - - -

When I travel around Michigan, I see the evidence of what people have done to create the United States of America and make the country the best country in the world.  In the country, running water is commonplace, having come about through the work of many people since the 1800s (my father had helped draw up the piping for the original main building for the well-known water-treatment plant in Allen Park, Michigan, in the 1950s).  Buildings have good heating systems or good cooling systems, which were developed by Americans over the decades.  Museums can be found all over the place, and all types of things are featured in museums around the country; for instance, in Michigan, there are museums devoted to bicycles, cars, musical instruments, and ice houses and other historic buildings.  I see dams and nuclear power plants and so many other great things.
In addition, when I travel in Michigan, I think about Barack Obama.  At the grocery stores, I watch people, some of whom are not perfectly well, maybe having a disease that I can recognize, such as Parkinson's, a broken foot, a curved and stiff spine, arthritic hands, and bad eyesight (evidence of which is given away by glasses with thick lenses, as I used to have before having cataract surgery some fifteen years ago), and the people that I see make me wonder how many understand Barack Obama is a man who likes to hurt people and is a man who has already hurt them, and it make me wonder how many understand that Barack Obama, who is an enslaver, has hurt the United States of America, especially financially.  I often think, when watching other people, how Barack Obama is a man who seems to support the "ant"-type society, in which a queen bee is at the hierarchy and all others are expendable workers, and I see Barack Obama as a man who wants to be like the queen bee who makes all the main decisions, which does not work well for man, since the society of man exists as a complex society where thinking is required to create things and build things, from water-treatment plants to iPods.  I often transition the thought about the "ant"-type society to the thought about communistic societies and socialistic societies, which are, in essence, glorified ant-type societies, in which workers have to be kept in line and kept down, and I realize Barack Obama has to keep business people down and keep everybody the same in this country, because, for one, he has an ill mind, a mind that is highly filled with jealousy and inadequacy, and he has to make his mind see that no one else is more important than he is or seemingly has more than he has.  Beyond that, I do believe those I watch are not fully aware how much Barack Obama feels an association with dictators and former dictators around the world (evidence of which exists in many of my documents about Barack Obama that are available at the Web site for The Hologlobe Press), and I believe those I watch are not fully aware he is getting revenge, for one, on the United States of America for hurting one of which like people, Saddam Hussein, the now dead man of Iraq.  And, ultimately, I think very few of the people that I see are aware that Barack Obama is a type of man who enjoys hurting other people--yes, I say that Barack Obama does like  to hurt other people.
And I know Barack Obama would not vacation in Michigan.  Barack Obama's mind does not understand the importance of Gull Rock Light (which is a lighthouse near Copper Harbor of Keweenaw County in the Upper Peninsula). Barack Obama's mind does not understand the importance of. "Old Ish" (which is a statue at Ishpeming of Marquette County in the Upper Peninsula).  Barack Obama's mind does not understand the importance of R.E. Olds Monument (which is at Lansing of Ingham County of the Lower Peninsula).  Barack Obama's mind does not understand the importance of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument (which is in Detroit of Wayne County of the Lower Peninsula). And you are urged to see the entry for February 9, 2010, of my document entitled Nonsense Statements and Quotations of Barack Obama, a link to which exists at the end of this document, since the document shows Barack Obama's ignorance about business or his serious dislike of business because it allows others, all types of people, to become seen as better than he is.

Advertisement: The commercial in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips urges you to get a copy of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which is a book written by Mark R. Levin.  This book will help you understand better what Barack Obama is--who is purposely hurting the country, even though he is the president of the country--but the book is really about enslavers (particularly politicians) who do not believe in the values of The U.S. Constitution and how The U.S. Constitution is designed to limit the power of the government, especially a dictator, over the individual (the citizen).  Remember: In the United States of America, it is the individuals who own the government and not the government that owns the citizens, the latter of which is what Barack Obama wants and is pushing for.

Promotional announcement: The Landmark Legal Foundation is made up of lawyers, such as Mark R. Levin (of The Mark Levin Show, a nationally syndicated radio show), who fight in court cases against those who do not uphold The U.S. Constitution and the rule of law for the country, and the Landmark Legal Foundation fights for the rights of the individual and against Marxists, communists, and the like.  In this day and age when Barack Obama, who I am convinced has a truly highly ill mind, is going against the rules of the country while pursuing a goal--I believe--to hurt the country and remake it or destroy it, I believe the Landmark Legal Foundation needs your help desperately; for example, retired lawyers who want to protect the country should consider donating time to helping the Landmark Legal Foundation.  I urge you to avoid making any donations to entities to promote manmade global warming or climate change and make a donation to the Landmark Legal Foundation instead (by the way, you should look into supporting the Heritage Foundation).

Since the fall of 2008, I have been passing along in editions of Michigan Travel Tips information about how I think Barack Obama, Jennifer Granholm (the governor of Michigan), and other Democrats are working to hurt tourism in Michigan or are doing things that will hurt tourism in Michigan, and the focus of my reporting has come down to talking about energy policies and electric vehicles, and, here, I add more to the story about the manmade-global-warming idea or the manmade-climate-change idea.  On Saturday, February 13, 2010, Roger Harrabin of the BBC (England) did an interview with Phil Jones, one of the men who is prominently involved in the Climate-gate (or Climategate) scandal, which had begun to be known by the public in November 2009.  During the interview, Phil Jones reported that there has been no "statistically significant" warming of the planet in the last fifteen years and that his ability to keep information and data is "not as good as it should be." In essence, the report done by the BBC, which led to other news entities passing along the ideas from the interview to the people of the world on the next day, shows more evidence that the manmade-global-warming idea or the manmade-climate-change idea has been a sham or a scheme pushed on by evil people, such as Al Gore, Jr., and Barack Obama.  And to learn more about the manmade-global-warming idea or the manmade-climate-change idea, you should see my document entitled "CAP AND TRADE" and Carbon Dioxide Facts and Nonsense, which can be reached by using this Carbon link, and by seeing my document entitled The Power and the Power Killers: Energy in the United States of America, which can be reached by using this Power link.  (Petre, Jonathan.  "Climategate U-Turn as scientist at centre now admits: There has been no global warming since 1995."  Daily Mail (the United Kingdom), 14 February 2010, 5:12 p.m.; Tapscott, Mark.  "Global Warming Shocker! Climategate scientist admits no warming since 1995 UPDATE: Or did he?"  Washington Examiner, 14 February 2010, 8:58 a.m. EST.)

Now, I come to a very unusual matter, and it comes about from my receiving an unexpected and unusual email from Tom Lakenen, who is the man who put together the tourist attraction called Lakenenland Monument Park, which is along M-28 in Chocolay Township, which is about seven miles east of Marquette in (Marquette County in the Upper Peninsula), and the email was like none other that I have received before, and it came at a time this time--I am in the middle of the fight against Barack Obama and other communists and people worse than communists, who are trying to change the country from what it was founded as to some third-rate debtor nation, and against pro-manmade-global-warming people who have been running a big scam on the country and the world about manmade global warming (and you are urged to see my documents entitled "CAP AND TRADE" and Carbon Dioxide Facts and Nonsense, which can be reached by using this link: Carbon).  I see that too many bad people, like communists, have been entering the ranks of government officials, even in on a local basis, and I have, within the last year, heard about some nonsense things going on in small communities around Michigan (such as in Presque Isle County of the Lower Peninsula), and I have seen evidence of Democrats ("progressives" or "liberals" or whatever they wish to call themselves), such as Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, doing things to stop the development of businesses and hinder the expansion of businesses, such as tourist attractions, in Michigan, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is in dire need of tourism (and you might want to see my document entitled The Power and the Power Killers: Energy in the United States of America, which can be reached by using this Power link).  The email from Tom Lakenen was a copy of an official letter that Tom Lakenen had sent out and is sending out, such as to newspapers, to explain some problems he has been having with the local government (Chocolay Township).
Note: It must be noted that what I present is only one side of the story, and for information from Chocolay Township, you will have to contact Chocolay Township, but my purpose here is to make you aware of this something going on with Lakenenland Monument Park and not to get the facts from both sides and prove which side is in the wrong.
The email (or letter) is made up of two parts. Part one gives a little bit of explanation of what Lakenenland is (which I did in Michigan Travel Tips #35, which can be reached by using this Travel #35 link); for example, it presents information that notes the place is a sculpture park made up of dozens of metal sculptures, which, in winter, when there is enough snow on the ground, can be seen by riding through the sculpture park on snowmobiles.  The second part of the email or letter is this:
"I have had nothing but grief from the Chocolay Township officials.  They have threatened me with: tickets for a sign on my property, tickets for a Health Dept. approved outhouse, tickets for a DNR approved unattended fire in the middle of winter snow cover, tickets if I allowed any camping.  They denied my Freedom of Information Act request for any correspondence or public complaints.  They asked for a legal easement to access the Dry Hydrant.  I agreed so they would never hesitate to get water in an emergency.  They drew up a perpetual easement for my entire 37 acre parcel to access the hydrant 138 off the highway.  Needless to say they are still welcome to get water but no legal easement.  Now they are revoking my previously issued permit for the band shell reason being, zoning changes, permit was issued in error.  When is the madness going to stop?  I have always obtained permits as required and never tried to skirt any regulations.  Chocolay Township needs to realize this park is for the pure enjoyment of the public and not built to give them ongoing irritation.  I wonder if there are any other townships that would like to have a sculpture park?  I'm tired of Chocolay Township's games."  (It was signed Tom Lakenen.)
Upon reading this email for the first time, I ended up thinking not only about the manmade-global-warming idea or manmade-climate-change idea being a hoax pushed on the country by left-wing politicians but also about the problem farmers have been having over the last couple years in Central Valley, California, caused by environmentalists, who have been instrumental in having water shut off to farms, which, in essence, turned the useful farms into dirt farms, to save a type of minnow.  (By the way, I have heard no one mention how cutting off the water to the farms probably caused the death or blocked the births of millions and millions of worms, birds, little animals, bees, insects, et cetera, but, yes, those nonsense thinkers and communists and Marxists and left-wing global-warming nuts might have saved a type of minnow).
So, Lakenenland Monument Park is one of the tourist attractions reported on in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips and one of the tourist attractions you can yet see in Michigan.

I have two more travel tips to pass along.  At Iron Mountain, which is in Dickinson County of the Upper Peninsula, is where you will find the Cornish Pump and Mining Museum, and, for some time, one of the exhibits has been a Waco CG-4A Glider, which is a type of glider that was used during World War II, and such gliders were made in Kingsford, Michigan, during the war (Kingsford is in Dickinson County of the Upper Peninsula), and now the museum has newly restored aircraft made by a man named Charlie Heiserman, and the plane is a single-engine plane (painted blue) that was built around 1937, and it is something new to see this summer tourist season at the museum.  Washtenaw County is a county in the southeastern region of the Lower Peninsula, and one place in that county is Ann Arbor, and one of the museums at Ann Arbor is the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, which is a museum for children that has about 250-interactive exhibits, and some of the main exhibits are the Viewspace Exhibit (from NASA), the Michigan Nature Room, and MediaWorks (where children can pretend they work at CTN-TV).

Well, enjoy your safe traveling in Michigan (and enjoy the many other documents at the Web site for The Hologlobe Press).

P.S. #1: Remember: While you travel in Michigan, remind your children or grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any politician or sing the praises of Barack Obama, and to help you remember other matters that you should teach children about bad politicians, such as Barack Obama (who can be described as an "enslaver"), see such other documents of mine as Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means (which can be reached through this link: Conservatism) and Lessons for Children about Politics and Dangerous People (which can be reached through this link: Children). (Note: I first passed along the subject of not being a "servant to Obama" and the like in the publication entitled T.H.A.T. #58, which can be reached through this link: T.H.A.T. #58.)
