Over the last several months, I have been tuning into Cozi TV (a subchannel network) when I am staying in the Detroit area, and I have been seeing some old television series, one of which is Hopalong Cassidy.  Well, that is not entirely true.  The episodes of Hopalong Cassidy (a cowboy series) that are being shown are sometimes episodes that had originally been made for movie theaters (such as in the 1940s) and re-edited to become half-hour episodes for television and sometimes episodes are actual episodes that were made for television.  The episodes that were made for television feature William Boyd as Hopalong Cassidy and Edgar Buchanan as his sidekick, Red.  The episodes of Hopalong Cassidy that I have seen that were not made for television originally have featured William Boyd as Hopalong Cassidy, Andy Clyde as California, and Rand Brooks as Lucky.  One episode that I saw in May 2013 was entitled "Illegal Entry," and in the story, Hoppy (the informal name for Hopalong) had to find out who was bringing illegal aliens in to the country from Mexico and letting them die in desert, and some of the actors in the episode were Harry Lauter (who I was familiar with), Frank Hagney, Paul Marion, and Spencer Chan.  Oh, the episodes featuring William Boyd and Edgar Buchanan were made in the very early 1950s, and it was a time was being a good person mattered, unlike today when Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton can get away with lying regularly and with letting Americans die in Benghazi, Libya (as I show in my document entitled The "Benghazi Killings Scandal": A Short Information-and-Status Report, which can be reached by using this Benghazi link)..

So, come along and ride with me now on another adventure in Television History and Trivia.

So, let me show up your favorite local television newscast and favorite newscaster or news-anchor team.  Did you favorite newscaster or newscast or news-anchor team give you any of the information that I now provide here?  The information is from ICE Union President Chris Crane.  I got the information by listening to The Mark Levin Show (a nationally syndicated radio show hosted by Mr. Mark R. Levin) on Thursday, May 9, 2013.  The theme was immigration, and Mark R. Levin was interviewing Chris Crane (ICE is the federal government entity known more fully Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which, for one, is involving in dealing people who come into the country legally or illegally and which only has about 5,000 actual officers involved immigration duties of an employment base of about 20,000).  Around the time this interview was conducted, the U.S. Congress was working on a new and big "immigration bill," and, for example, a group of Congress people called the "Gang of Eight" was leading the way in creating the bill, and, during the interview, Chris Crane reported that immigration officers were not really given an opportunity to give suggestions in making the bill, and Chris Crane noted: "...The 'Gang of Eight' put this legislation together behind closed doors.  They worked with the Chamber of Commerce.  They worked with the AFL-CIO, 'big money,' big union, ah, you know, ah, people who stand to make millions off of this.  La Raza, ah, you know, a group that represents the interests of illegal aliens [who are criminals by violating existing federal laws]--they brought them in to craft to craft this bill, and they had an agenda, they had a game plan, and the last thing they wanted was law enforcement officers that know what's going on and know what's needed to fix this problem, um, and how to stop this illegal-immigration situation or at least curb it off dramatically.  The last thing they wanted us comin' in and doing is messing up their game plan."  [La Raza is an anti-United States of America entity.]   Mark Levin asked Chris Crane whether or not law enforcement's hands have been tied by the Barack Obama administration in relation to enforcing immigration laws, and Chris Crane said: "Absolutely, I mean to the point that, you know, from, from 2008, ah, since this President came on board and this Secretary of Department of Homeland Security--Janet Napolitano--they have attempted to shut down interior enforcement, and, ah, they've done a pretty good job of it up to this point, ah, to the point, that as officers and agents, we have filed a lawsuit against the Obama administration, against Janet Napolitano, against the director of ICE--our boss--um, saying that, you know, we're, we're not asking for, for any money, we're not asking for anything from the taxpayers, we're staying that the President of the United States has over-stepped his authority--it's his job to enforce the laws not make laws, it's not his place to pick and choose which laws will and will not be enforced, um, and, ah, you know, we've, we've taken that forward and, and, and had a lot of success with that up to this point...."  Some of the ways in which ICE agents have their hands tied, as noted by Chris Crane, are: "...ICE agents cannot make street arrests.  We are not allowed to go out--we have the authority to from the laws enacted by Congress--but we cannot go if we see a person that we suspect to be an illegal alien, we suspect to be an illegal alien gang member or, or criminal, we cannot make an arrest.  We are under orders to wait until they commit a crime to be arrested by another law-enforcement agency, say local police, booked into a jail, and then once they go in to a jail or once they go in to a prison, then an immigration agent can go and talk to them.  Ah, once we get in to the jails, the fact that they're in the United States illegally, that they've broken, ah, you know, they've violated laws regarding illegal entry or visa over-stay--the two laws are the most fundamental laws of any immigration system in the world, the two violations of law that have created eleven-million illegal aliens, here, ah, in the United States today.  We can't enforce those laws even in a jail.  We have to make sure that they've been convicted of three or more criminal offenses before we can even try to place them in deportation proceedings...."  Chris Crane brought out some shocking points about the Barack Obama administration, and it is hard to say what was the most shocking, and, certainly, one shocking statement was: "...But they have shut down interior enforcement!  I know they're saying every year that ICE's numbers of apprehensions and deportations are setting records every year.  For four years, we've been saying that's false!  But now we have data that shows that, since 2008, ICE arrest numbers and deportation numbers have plummeted!  And what DHS is doing, because they're two separate agencies--Border Patrol is one agency and ICE is another--they take, the Border Patrol makes an arrest on the border, and instead of taking care of that removal or deportation themselves, they turn it over to ICE, and then ICE simply does the deportation so that it shows that ICE is, you know, basically, keeping our numbers up on deportations, when we're not, when our numbers are actually plummeting, so it's a shell game...."   Chris Crane added: "...I think last year, I think more than, ah, fifty percent of ICE's deportation numbers were actually Border Patrol apprehensions."  Mark Levin noted: "So they're lying!"

Where is Hopalong Cassidy--an honorable man--when you need him?

Advertisement: In March 2009, a book called Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which had been written by Mark R. Levin, was published.  Through the book, Mark R. Levin talks about how tyranny has been creeping into the country, and he also talks about how the country has been changing from a representative republic, which has a constitution as a basis, to something, yet to be defined, and although Mark R. Levin says that it is the statist who is causing the change, especially those who are a part of the Democratic Party and in government jobs, I say that it is communists, socialists, would-be dictators, and Marxists, such as Barack Obama, who are making the changes, such as by discarding The U.S. Constitution.  I urge you to see and read Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, and pass it on to others, especially teenagers and young adults (and consider listening to The Mark Levin Show, the nationally syndicated radio show, on a regular basis).

So, recently, WTVS-HD, Channel 56.1, began to carry on Tuesday evenings (at 11:00 p.m.) a new weekly movie-review show entitled Just Seen It, which is hosted by a bunch of young people--probably twentysomethings--and the regular hosts ("reviewers") are Leah Aldridge, Liz Manashil, Sean Wright, Salim Lemelle, David Freedman, Brenna Smith, Aaron Fink, Rachel Applebaum, and Kevin Taft, and there can be guest reviewers (two of which have been Aaron Neuwirth and Melissa Howland).  In essence, the show is made up of several segments, and in each segment, three of the hosts talk about a single movie.  Overall, the hosts are arrogant and shallow, and what they say comes off as pseudo-intellectual nonsense, and the tone of the show is unlikable.  It is a show that you should throw the ticket away on.

By the way, after WTVS-HD airs Just Seen It, the station shows a weekly program called Film School Shorts.

And now a short take on garbage comes.  On Monday, June 3, 2013, ABC Family--yes, ABC Family--began running a series called The Foster, which focuses on a lesbian couple raising young teens or so, and the main performers are Teri Polo and Sherri Saum.  One of the packagers of the show is Jennifer Lopez, a big supporter of Barack Obama and the communist way of the world--enslavism.  The entire cast looks, in essence, pretty, and their pretty is all on the same type of image, which is boring, and the cast looks shallow, and, in fact, it looks phony.  Let me move on.  Did you catch this crap from Oprah Winfrey?  The OWN network has a series entitled Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots, which began running on May 28, 2013.  The idea of "haves" and "have nots" is right out of the Communist Manifesto (a book), which, like Rules for Radicals (a book by Saul Alinsky), is nothing more than a book that tries to teach deviants and thugs and insane people how to tear down a society and become the leaders of it and run the society under the themes of enslavism, and, by the way, Tyler Perry is--I say in jest--a good little supporter of "communism" (the ways of life promoted by Barack Obama).  Yes, Tyler Perry is a supporter of Barack Obama..

On Sunday, June 2, 2013, at 9:30 p.m., I was doing research on the Internet in one room, and in another room, a friend was watching the PBS-affiliated station in the area where I was, WCMU-TV, and a program expected did not show up on the station--being not available--and what showed up was the documentary called Detropia (which was a presentation of the Independent Lens series), and the documentary was directed and produced by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady, and the executive producers were Dan Cogan and David Menschel, and another producer was Craig Atkinson.  While I looked at material on the Internet, I listened to the audio of the program, and I listened for a half hour or so.  During the time that I listened, I heard nothing that told why Detroit was now crap and I heard nothing that hinted at how Detroit might get better.  I asked myself--What was the purpose of the program and why was it made?  The documentary, which has been hailed as something great, was useless material, offering nothing but a collection of images, such as of angry people and depressed people, and offering fluff really.  And at about 10:00 p.m., my friend shut off the program, and, for my friend, I tuned in to the nationally syndicated radio program called The Billy Cunningham Show (which I fired up by going to WJR-AM on the Internet).

And have you caught the new series called Mistresses?  It is a weekly series shown on ABC  on Mondays that features four actresses, one of whom is Alyssa Milano.  Alyssa Milano always looks mean and angry, and when she smiles, her face does not show pleasantness and niceness.  There is a blonde gal, who has that tall and thin and lanky look, that which you can expect from a model.  The show has a Asian-type gal, who has no shape.  The other gal is a black gal, and she seems to have pleasantness.  Yes, the show covers just about all the bases (well, I guess it has enough gals to cover all the bases and more for baseball).  There is a black gal, and there is a blonde-type gal, and there is an Asian-type gal, and there is a brunette gal ) Alyssa Milano).  Oh, Alyssa Milano's character's nickname is "Savi," and it makes me think of "smart ass."  I will skip these mistresses, and I could say there is nothing to see--such as wonderful female shape (boobs and all)..

Announcement for the novice again: To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, go to Fox News Channel, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama, as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (to learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the Fox News Channel and those mentioned with it in presenting political stories and events, and you should discover CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV avoid covering things that make Barack Obama look bad or show his true nature, which could harm you).  If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.

So, let us see if your favorite television newscast covered this news.  First, consider this--What would you think about a government that regulates and supervises private entities and then sends out solicitations to get those entities to donate to some non-profit entity?  You should see the government would most likely be involved in coercing money from private entities that it supervises and regulates and involved in punishing any that do not give into the request made.  That is the sign of a corrupt government.  On May 10, 2013, a writer known as Sarah Kliff had a story of hers published by The Washington Post, which was entitled "Budget request denied, Sebelius turns to health executives to finance Obamacare" (Kliff, Sarah.  "Budget request denied, Sebelius turns to health executives to finance Obamacare."  The Washington Post, 10 May 2013, 4:12 p.m.), and the story noted that, within the past three months, Kathleen Sebelius (the head of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) urged a number of companies to donate money to Enroll America (some type of non-profit entity created in 2011 and run by Obama supporters) so that Enroll America could help promote "Obamacare" (the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010), and some of the companies that received solicitations were H&R Block, AEYNA, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Coventry Health Care, HCSC Group, Highmark Humana, Indepence Blue Cross, Kaiser Permanente, United Healthcare, and WellPoint.  Stories on the Internet noted that there was no direct threat made by Kathleen Sebelius to companies that were given solicitations, but there was the "insinuation" of threat.  ("Don't forget about HHS' Obamacare shakedown." The Washington Examiner, 14 May 2013, 3:00 p.m. and 6:40 p.m.; Beamon, Todd. "GOP Sees Obamacare Solicitations as New Scandal Facing White House." Newsmax.com, 24 May 2013, 07:49 p.m.; FoxNews and The Associated Press.  "House committee to probe Sebeliius soliciting money for Obamacare signups." FoxNews.com, 14 May 2013.; Shelly, Barbara.  "Barbara Shelly: Kathleen Sebelius and the Fourth Scandal."  The Kansas City Star, 28 May 2013.; solomon.reddo.  "Yet Another Scandal?  HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius Begs Health Executives to Finance Obamacare." Daily Paul, 5 May 2013, 00:39.)

Special commentary about a local "Republican" television personality: Okay, even the Republican Party has idiots and bad thinkers.  Consider television-personality Nolan Finley, who writes for the The Detroit News and is a co-host on the WTVS-TV series called MiWeek (shown weekly on Fridays at 7:30 p.m.).  On Wednesday, May 29, 2013, Nolan Finley was at the "Mackinac Policy Conference" on Mackinac Island (Michigan) with a bunch of politicians, such as Jeb Bush (the brother of George W. Bush and the son of George H. W. Bush, both of whom were U.S. Presidents), and on that day, Nolan Finley was a guest on The Frank Beckmann Show (of WJR-AM).  Two defective thoughts that Nolan Finley had for listeners was (1) it was important for the country to change immigration laws so that the economy of the country can get of boost by taking in more foreigners and (2) it was his opinion that Jeb Bush (such as because of the man's commanding presence) would be a good U.S. President.  The very last thing the Republican Party and the country need is another "Bush" in the White House, no matter how good the man might be.  Another "Bush" in the White House keeps up the pace of two families running the country--(1) the "Bush" family and "Bush" close associates and (2) the communists especially the "Clinton" family and the "Clinton" family close associates, and that is bad, very bad.  If Jeb Bush even runs for the office of the U.S. presidency, it will show that the "Bush" family is crap, no matter what little good the family has done in the past (George W. Bush was crap in that he acted like a soft-line communist, putting the country in more debt and starting up the crap that was and is called "TARP").  The country has more than 300-million persons, and out of that number, Nolan Finley might push the idea that there are no other persons than Jeb Bush who would be a good U.S. President.  In addition, in essence, Nolan Finley pushed the idea that it is better to change the immigration laws, which--I say--are going to be changed for the worse given that Barack Obama--an enemy of the country, such as by not upholding current immigration laws and by taking Arizona to court for trying to uphold current immigration laws--is the U.S. President than working to get American citizens into jobs by getting them off of welfare and such.  By the way, Jeb Bush was on The Frank Beckman Show on the same day, and he pushed the idea that we have to get more immigrants into the country to boost the economy.  That is idiot thought from a man who wishes to be a U.S. President!  Let me make it clear--Kill the welfare (of months and months and months) for people, and they will have to find work and get skills for jobs or die.  In addition, I say--You do not change immigration laws when the U.S. Congress is controlled by communists and the like (meaning all the members of the Democratic Party and some of the members of the Republican Party, such as John Boehner and John McCain)!  Oh, MiWeek, which is a political-commentary show, also has as the other regular hosts--Stephen Henderson (a black communist) and Christy McDonald (at least a socialist), the latter of whom who acts as the moderator.

Communists are bad people, being thugs and liars and such.  !n Sunday, May 26, 2013, Dick Durban a prominent Democrat (a.k.a. communist) was one of the guests on Fox News Sunday, which is hosted weekly by Chris Wallace on Fox TV.  One thing that Dick Durban said is: "...What is a journalist today in 2013?  We know it's someone who works for Fox or AP.  But does it include a blogger?  Does it include someone who's tweeting?  Are these people journalists and entitled to constitutional protection?  We need to ask twenty-first-century questions about a provision in our constitution that was written over two-hundred years ago...."  These are the words of an "enslavist" and a piece of crap of a man.  What Dick Durban was and is pushing for is limited political speech.  The U.S. Constitution allows everyone to speak out publicly on political matters.  Dick Durban does not like that.  He wants to alter the "right" to free speech.  One way to do that, it seems, is to license "journalists," and if you are not licensed--which could mean you have to have a journalism degree or have to pay a fee to be a journalist--you will by in violation of the law if you speak out publicly about political matters, such as through any type of writings.  By the way, notice how Dick Durban worked to sell the idea that having free speech is an old idea--because The U.S. Constitution is old--and we should have a new twenty-first-century idea in place.  That is bullshit!  A country is crap when the government determines who gets to speak out, especially when people like communists control the government!  Barack Obama is a communist and what is worse than a communist.

So, Americans were killed in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012, and Barack Obama could have given orders to make a rescue before the Americans might have been killed, and we--the American people--have yet to know were Barack Obama was during the attack, which lasted for about seven hours, and that shows the state of the main media in the country--corrupt and evil--giving no care about finding out where Barack Obama was or keeping quiet about where Barack Obama was.

Well, let me see--within the last month or so, there have been stories about the federal government's (specifically the Executive Branch, which is headed by Barack Obama) getting phone information or tracking a countless number of telephone calls in the country, the federal government's (specifically the Executive Branch, which is headed by Barack Obama, of course) tapping the telephones of The Associated Press, the federal government's (specifically the IRS, which is a part of the Executive Branch) targeting or harassing in a way "conservative"-type groups who were seeking tax-exempt status (the groups uphold the ways of The United States Constitution and are anti-communistic (Barack Obama is a communist, and communists are "enslavists" and are people who like to enslave others and do harm to others and do violence toward others, as history shows)), and the federal government's (specifically the U.S. Department of Justice, which is a part of the Executive Branch) working on charging a news reporter at Fox News (James Rosen) as a "co-conspirator" in an investigation case involving a man called Stephen Kim, who may or may not  have done things with information related to North Korea and U.S. national security, which allowed the federal government (the U.S. Department of Justice) to get a warrant to secretly get information, such as emails, tied to James Rosen .  Now, "for the record," I note--On May 15, 2103, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said at a congressional hearing about investigating media entities and individuals: "...With regard to the potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material, that is not something that, um, I've ever been involved in, heard of, um, or would think would be a wise policy...."  On May 23, 2013, NBC News published a story called "DOJ confirms Holder Ok'd search warrant for Fox News reporter's emails" by Michael Isikoff [Isikoff, Michael.  "DOJ confirms Holder Ok'd search warrant for Fox News reporter's emails" NBC News, 23 May 2013, 5:16 p.m. EDT.), and the story was about James Rosen and a special warrant obtained by the U.S. Department of Justice (headed by Eric Holder) to get James Rose's emails, and the story showed that Attorney General Eric Holder told at least one lie on May 15, 2013 (I show the lie in the quoted material in this paragraph).

Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Stay well!
